In town performing at the Playhouse so I am checking out all the spots! This place was great!! Service was a little slow at the top because there was only one server working the floor (to be expected with the pandemic) but my food came out nice & quick. The spring rolls were tasty and the soup was great. Authentic Pho and I will be back to try some of the other dishes. PICTURED: chicken spring rolls & rare beef noodle soup.

This place is terrible! I have a lot of experience with Pho, Vietnamese, and Thai food, and some of the food we were served verged on disgusting. I had Pho, and the basil leaves they served me were rotting, and the bean sprouts were past their prime. Even the glass of water had a bad taste. The other people I was with didn't like their meals either, and sadly one was so bad, I will have to take her to a better place so she knows what that dish ought to taste like, and see that she isn't turned off Vietnamese food forever. My advice to all, is to go anywhere else in Gananoque, this one isn't acceptable.

Nice food. Portions are big and very tasty. They do not have a special menu for kids, but menu itself contains a lot of options for kids and people who prefer healthy food. Checked 5 restaurants on the street before coming to this Vietnamese eatery and I'm happy I chose this one. Waiter is kind. Interior is so so and should be improved, and building is not so fancy, but fresh and delicious food compensates it all. Also, prices could be bigger in that case. Average price for one big dish is 13-15 CAD plus taxes. Next time when I will be visiting this small town for 1000 cruise I'd definitely choose this cafe again.

I ordered an avacado shake, fresh rolls and bun cha with shrimp. The avacado shake was watery and without flavor and the fresh rolls were dry and very lettuce forward.. definitely not my favourite meal, but everything went in and came out so what more can you ask of your food ????

This restaurant gives Thai food a very bad name. Ordered Red Curry chicken and it had nothing to do with what it was supposed to be. Where's the curry, the coco milk, basil? It was just bits of veggies and chicken bathing in a tasteless broth. And it was not cheap either. I pay $12 for a great Red Curry Chicken in Montreal. Pho Hut charged 17$ and it was pretty bad. Lesson learned. Don't order specialty food in a small town...

(Translated) Not up to the Vietnamese restaurants in Quebec. The grilled pork and shrimp dish which looked like a sausage served with vermicelli and salad tasted nothing. The overcooked pork and the supposed fish sauce was not a real nuoc mam. Really disappointed! The spring roll with shrimp and peanut sauce was ok. (Original) Pas à la hauteur des restos vietnamiens du Québec. Le plat de porc grillé et crevette qui avait l'air d'une saucisse servi avec vermicelles et salade ne goûtait rien. Le porc trop cuit et la supposée sauce de poisson n'était pas une vrai nuoc mam. Vraiment déçue! Le rouleau de printemps aux crevettes et la sauce aux arachides était correct.

Went here for lunch the other day for the first time. They have great options and portion sizing! We got some of their shrimp rice paper rolls, vermicelli and noodle soup. It was so good! Will have to come back and try something different! The service was great and fast. The owners were really nice as well.

So glad there is a Vietnamese restaurant in Gananoque now. Very good menu, great atmosphere, and tasty food. Well-priced for what you get. Got my favourites, shrimp salad rolls and lemongrass beef, and they did not disappoint. Definitely recommend! :)

Called in a takeout order. Food was ready on time and well packaged. We got a few dishes. Our favorite was the mango salad and the pad thai - both were super tasty. We will be getting them again.

Great food, seriously the best pad Thai I've ever had. My husband had the red curry and it was amazing as well (if you enjoy spicy food). The jasmine tea was refreshing as well. The service was also super friendly.

Had pickup/take out twice so far. Chicken pad thai was very good, but a little spicy compared to others I have had. Side order of vegetable spring rolls did not disappoint. They are much larger, almost double in size, compared to any other restaurant's I've had them at and they taste amazing! I reordered just the spring rolls for a snack tonight and again, was very satisfied with them! They will be a regular order for me! The dining room here looks very clean, fresh and inviting. Well lit. Lovely decor. Customer service has been very pleasant each phone call and visit in as well.

I had the Thai red curry which was very, very good! My wife had a beef stir fry which she also quite enjoyed. Portions were substantial and the service fast and friendly. This restaurant could easily compete in a much larger city!

The food portions were a good size and everything was delicious! The nem nuong was huge and there was lots of meat in my pho. Even the basil used as a topping was huge. The waitress was very attentive and our food came out really quickly. I definitely want to visit again

Sorely missing good Vietnamese food around Kingston and stumbled upon this lovely place. Authentic food, a bit pricier than other Vietnamese restaurants but given the scarcity of this cuisine in the area, I don’t mind terribly. Had the pho and the bun, as well as the chicken wings and avocado smoothie. All were delicious! Happy to come again.

Excellent food and good Value!! But a remarkable act of kindness causes me to write this review…One of our neighbours is elderly & losing his sight. My husband was surprised when he asked for help to get to the Pho Hut. Upon arrival he tapped on the window, they smiled & prepared him a plate of his favourite fries. Later we saw one of the staff help him get home safe & sound!! I spoke to the young lady a few days later and she said “he was always very kind to us when we first came to Gananoque” I’m very proud of our beautiful community and the exceptional quality the Pho Hut offers all!

Great spot for lunch or dinner after being on the water, or just walking around. The broth is perfect, totally clear but packed with flavour. If they bottled that broth and sold it, I'd buy a gallon. They also have banh xeo which can be hard to find, I regret not getting one but do not regret having the pho at all. I'll just have to be back for a crepe next time!

Fantastic food! Ate tonight at Pho Hut, and was really pleased. The Pad Thai shrimp and chicken was really great. Lots of food, served quickly, and it was delicious. Also ordered at our table was a pad Thai beef (super tasty with tender beef), and udon noodles and shrimp (very tasty). I think we'd skip ordering the vermicelli beef next time, just not the best item for the kids - they preferred the pad Thai!! Service was super friendly, tea was great, and the overall dinner experience was fantastic. A nice jewel of a restaurant in Gananoque!!!

Super friendly staff and excellent food. I really hope this place does well, the menu is full of excellent choices, nice to see tendon in the Pho so many smaller places dont seem to offer it. Vietnamese and Thai food offered here and I haven't been disappointed yet. The Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk is amazing.

Glad I finally dropped in mid aft today! What I particularly hoped to find, on this rather miserable on the weather front day, hot and sour soup, was not on the menu. No problem! Although their version differed significantly from my past experiences of this soup, theirs was absolutely delightful! The fresh salad rolls - vegetarian were lovely too! Looking forward to returning. And, Yessssss it is wonderful to finally have a Vietnamese & Thai restaurant in Gan!

Best delivery in town, hands down. Staff are super friendly, food is excellent, they're open at very convenient times, you get a lot of food for your order, and they always deliver within 20-30 minutes. I eat here all the time. I recommend their Pad Thai, it's so good.
