On the other hand, the dining room is not so large nor very welcoming, I recommend taking the meal to take away and going to eat outside in the nearby parks. Small restaurant, very friendly staff, and nice food. We came after 5 hours boat cruise, t was cold and rainy day, so I ordered a large poutine italian style (it is italian restaurant, right?). Guys, it was 1 foot diameter plate, full of potato, cheese, and tomato souce instead of gravy. Perfect combination. The only thing I did not enjoy - hard chairs. I hope they will grow they business and make it more cozy. Definitely will come back again.

Generally a good place for take out. Have long been a fan of their hamburgers, but even after 20 years, they're still my standard for a takeout burger, and I would choose them over 5 Guys. Pizza is decent, though in Gananoque pizza preference is pretty tribal.

The pizza seems boring. I had 1 topping and melted cheese. It remjnds me of little ( insert name of chain) pizza and thats about it. The greek salad was pathetic. More iceberg lettuce than one can shake a stick at. Yikes. I have been to Italy and Greece this year. Neither of these dishes would make the grade. I feel sad that this place does not spend more time to make thier food better than a national fast food chain. Ugh

First time coming to Milano pizzeria yesterday ! Which was on Saturday , August 25, 2018, after my 5 hour boat cruise stop over to castle boldt ! The family that owns and runs this pizza shop are so friendly, kind , and welcoming! We were so hungry that we walked and also drove around to find a cool spot to grab a bite to eat . So we saw Milano pizzeria! We love pizza ! My husband and I were absolutely amazed with the friendly service , and with how the pizzas looked so delicious and so yummy ! This was honestly one of the best pizza shops we have ever been to!

A hidden gem. Decently prices, bountiful filling. We ordered an XL half Milano special, half Cicilliano pizza and a large Italian poutine. After hiking the Rock Dunder, we were famished. The restaurant is a 20 min drive to Gananoque. The pizza has tons of filling and the crust was excellent. The Italian poutine is their own version with red sauce. Overall very satisfied. There are a few tables outside where you can eat. Plenty of parking around the restaurant too.

Where to begin? The dirty floors? The terrible ordering system? The prices? The food?... Let's start with placing an order. Get a computer. Stop using a little piece of paper. Read the orders back so you can confirm. Once you get an order, make the whole order. Don't leave out 1/3rd of the food that's been ordered and paid for. $40 for lasagna, a pizza and a burger. The dirt... the floors are disgusting. Someone needs to take 5 minutes and sweep. Even when you're busy. Tables are not wiped down either. Needed to do that ourselves. Now, the food. Wow... after all the stellar reviews, I expected to be blown away... or at least really pleased. Nope. Not even close. The 10" meat lovers had almost 2" of dough before any toppings could be found. Then, the toppings got heavier the closer to the center you looked. Makes for very unevenly cooked pizza. The taste was nonexistent. Tin can sauce. Cheap toppings. The cheeseburger and fries? The order that was completely missed? That's not a burger. That's some meat charbroiled in black grease. Horrific. The lasagna was the single shining star... but, shining from millions of miles away. The garlic bread was moist, not crispy. I'm literally stunned at all the good reviews. Is it because there are few choices? It's certainly not the food quality. Even after the screwed up order we didn'tget a thing but a lazy excuse. "The lady is getting old" is what we were told as to why the order was wrong. Don't waste your time.

I went there and ordered a small poutine dish and the owner handed to me in less than 30 seconds, already packed in a take-out plate. Very fast service, I thought. We went out and we started to eat it and found the fries inside were hard and stale, like it was under a heat lamp for awhile. Not Going Back.

By far the best pizza i have ever had. Hands down! We were in town for an overnight stay and were looking for a place to dine in. Came across this place, saw some reviews online and we went for it. Oh my god! It was an amazing experience. I think it is run by a family and they were so welcoming. My wife spent around 10-15 minutes talking to them after we were done with the dinner. Its the bond that you remember and experience you carry from such journeys. We ordered a Mediterranean Pizza, since we were looking for veg options. Amazing crust, full of toppings and cheese, well done. Hot, crispy, cheese and mild spicy, just the way it should be.

First time ordering and was more than pleasantly surprised as pasta is rarely a goto item for delivery options (too many bad experiences). I ordered the Mama Mia Lasagne and ZOMG! First of all, easily enough for 2 people for only $13. Loads of cheese, several meatballs, and lots of pepperoni (I'm so full right now after half of it). The meatsauce was tasty, noodles were just firm enough. And the delivery was quick. Will definitely order again.

Edited review - Was just told today they won't deliver to me anymore and was not told why, but suspect it was due to them originally having glass contaminants in their chicken and me trying to warn them about it had offended the owner. This blatant lack of professionalism combined with a poor customer service attitude and discrimination has prompted me to adjust my previous review of 4 stars to 1. Previous review - Has improved a lot, haven't had the pizza yet, but chicken was perfectly cooked and very tasty. Followed special request to the letter. Very professional.

I order from here once or twice a month I get the same thing a bacon poutine and a chicken club wrap. they never get the wrap right. it's always cold and they don't make it properly. it's very simple: lettuce, tomato, Mayo, heated up chicken, bacon and cheese. when I receive it its cold it has no bacon and it has ham with chicken lettuce tomato and Mayo this is incorrect. I like their bacon poutine but I am always disappointed that the chicken club wrap is incorrect that is why I've had to change my rating in my review

Stopped in here during a 8 hour drive and enjoyed the experience. Definitely a small town restaurant that has been in business for years most likely due to its great service and large portion sizes. Great tasting pizza. If you like lots of cheese, especially - the pizza comes with oodles of cheese by default. It's seriously a ton of cheese. If extra cheese is too much for you, consider asking for less than they normally put on. But if you're a fan of lots of mozzarella, you'll love it.

I was disappointed. The double burger with bacon and cheese was ... Meh. It had two patties, bacon and cheese but I asked for tomatoes and lettuce and got a couple of shreds of lettuce and no tomato. It was awful but not great either. The pizza, which we were looking forward to because of the reviews, but the cheese was almost like plastic. We tore apart two pieces and all the cheese from one slice just slid right off. It wasn't ooey gooey melty,....it was just thick and almost solid. The poutine, again, just meh. It had cheese, gravy and fried but there wasn't anything outstanding at all. The Greek salad was more iceberg lettuce than anything good. It even had slices of carrots on it so I'm pretty sure they took a premade house / garden salad and just added the feta and olives ..all two of them. The spaghetti and meat sauce was really the only meal that was enjoyed...by a picky 9 year old so not sure that's a ringing endorsement either. Overall, nothing great, nothing awful....just meh.

Andreas and his team are awesome. Great service, good food, generous portions and good value for the price. Delivery guys are professional and courteous. Safe practices are also shown in and outside the restaurant. Compared to other similar restaurant's, Milano's is not afraid to load up their sandwiches. Never disappointed in my purchases here.

While we visited Gananoque, we craved pizza and so the closest place to our hotel was Milano's . The establishment could benefit from a makeover, it was crowded, hot and outdated. The few tables were all dirty and it was full of flies. The pizza was okay and it was reasonably priced. Our order of two large pizza was ready in about 15 minutes I won't say more because I went outside of the restaurant because it was quite hot. Not sure if I would ever return to this place.

best Italian poutine I've had! you've gotta order the fresh cut fries though, they'll give most chip trucks a run for their money... and by that I mean $10 buys you a small poutine and a bottle of pop with a tip! Unless you're feeding a whole family I wouldn't order the large size, it weighs about 5 pounds (or so it seemed at the time) and even knowing what I was in for I could only get half of it down for lunch and was in agony for the rest of the day... Pizza slices are huge, delicious and well worth the $3.50 and although it's been a while since I've had one the cheese steak hoagie was phenomenal the last time I had one. I don't imagine any thing has changed since it's been the same owners doing their thing for 10+ years now... Burgers, fried chicken, I could go on and on but why waste my time, stop in and check this place out, it doesn't look like much from the outside but the owners will treat you like they've known you for ever and you won't get better take out between Brockville and Kingston!

Great pizza from the end of Gananoque. I was there on vacation with my wife and we walked to the restaurant from the other end of town. Great pizza and chicken. Very cheesy. The people there were very friendly andvthe service was great.

Review is based on: poutine, wings and Milano Special Pizza only. We ordered a large wings with sauce on the side - and WOW do they give you a TON of sauce. The honey garlic and hot sauce were pretty good. The hot sauce wasn’t very hot and it had a bit of sweetness to it (not vinegary type). Having said that, the actual wings weren’t very good. The sauces helped mask the wing taste. Wings are not breaded (which I prefer). The Milano Special pizza wasn’t very good. The pizza looked great but it ended up not tasting very good. Personally, I think it’s because of the mushrooms/pepperoni/onions were put below the cheese. I like my toppings on top of the cheese. So since all of those toppings were below the cheese, it was a bit soggy and mushy in the middle. Now the best part of the experience was the poutine! It was the perfect amount of cheese and the gravy was very good. If I were to ever visit Gananoque again, I would come back here for the poutine only.

Great pizza. Quality food at a reasonable price. I am from the GTA and have never had authentic tasting italian pizza ever. Blend of various cheeses and layered meat under the cheese makes this place a gem. I would definitely recommend to anyone passing through Gananoque to stop grab a slice, you wont be disappointed. Oh yeah and the poutine is unreal.

Ordered a medium vegetarian pizza *No Mushrooms*. The pizza arrived about 1h later with what I can only assume is *extra mushrooms*. Called back to reorder the pizza and the restaurant was closed. Pizza would've been good without the mushrooms and the staff was nice.

Delivery was EXTREMELY fast. Pizza was large and filling, but onions and pepperoni were underneath the (extremely generous portion of) cheese and made the whole thing kind of slippery and soggy. Also had Italian poutine, and the fries were mealy, like they'd been previously frozen.

Great pizza reasonably priced. The staff are so terrific! Pizza was a bit undercooked this time but nothing 5 minutes in the oven didn't solve. If you are a fan of bacon, this is the place to go. Most pizza places serve you rubber band style bacon that is all fat. This place serves tasty well cooked delicious bacon. It also wouldn't be so hard to accidentally undercook buy a bit if they didn't have so many great toppings on it so you can hardly complain. Try them out!

Will I Do not know Where to start after my order last night....I have always gotten an OK pizza from this place. I first clue it was going to be a bad meal was they charged me for extra toppings when I simply asked to have on half of the Veggie Pizza Hot pepper and one half Olives .....I got charged for additional toppings. The girls taking the order had no understanding how the pricing or the product went. She stated has such! When I looked over after the pizza had been made the cook had the Box oped and was doing something with it.....When I got home I found out what. He had pick all the olives on one side do to them not following my request. SO YES USED HIS HANDS TO PICK ALL OVER MY PIZZA AFTER IT WAS COOKED! I have been in the food industry for 25 years and you do not do that Just a NO! NO! Just dirty! Also the Grave for the Fries had been placed on it side in the bag and exploded everywhere! I spoke to the so called manager on duty and he was no help just kept day we will replace pizza and fries ....When I said where I lived I got that is to far next time you come in you will get Free Pizza and Fries ....Couldn't eat the one he gave us to start with ....How is that Free and I had to wait.....Tell you want Mr. Manager you keep your Freaken Pizza and if I want Pizza on a Sunday I will just wait until Greko's opens the next day! You got one start on this order because I needed it to post! I do have Pics but I this I will not waste any more of my time on this.

Large portions, relaxed atmosphere and very good mix of Greeko-Italian food. Having had food at similar establishments before, I knew the quantities will be large and ordered much lesser than usual and for once, we didn't have any take away. We were a group of 4 adults and 2 kids. Ordered Bruschetta and Greek Salad along wth French Onion soup. The soup wasn't great but the Bruschetta and Salad were very food and enormous in quantity. 1 small salad can feed 2 easily. For main course, we went with 1 medium pizza and 2 pastas. 3/4th through the dinner, we were almost done. The girl who served us was amazing - scurrying in and out to take our orders and handling a big tour group as well. Overall, a down to earth establishment serving good food with large portions for a very good price.

I had to call this establishment about 5 times before I had to come in to the shop to make my order in which I found out the phone had been off the hook for the past 30 minutes. As I placed my order they told me it would only take 10 minutes. I waited in my car and came back in to find that they hadn’t even started to make it... I went back out to my car and waited another ten minutes. A worker had seen my in my car we made eye contact and when my food was ready they let it sit. When the 10 minutes was up I went in and asked how long it sat for I was barraged with rudeness and anger from them. I won’t ever go back.

Pay attention!!! We (2 people) were here the first time and tried the pizza, since the owner are Italian. On a Saturday evening we waited for 45 Minutes for that pizza (for take away). We were not upset, that the couple who ordered right after us, was served before us, since they had ordered something different than pizza. But they asked for a first name to call us and they didn't. The staff seeing us sitting and standing around didn't ask what we were waiting for so long!? they have put our pizza onto the oven and have forgotten our already paid meal (credit card)! looked to me it was already finished since long ago. Not even an honest apology results in no tip tonight (I wanted give cash tip in the first place.) The toppings look fresh and taste good. The pizza is rather fluffy. It was not fatty or soggy. It was a bit dry. I already had a californian italian pizza yet, a NY Pizza and an american Pizza (a big pizza) and I had a lot of italian pizza (since I live in Germany) --- this pizza is unique and worth a try! (It is rather a big pizza.) but pay attention for your order!

Living The Boat Life

This place has amazing pizzas. During the week you can get a 1/5 size slice for 3 bucks. And their ex LG pizzas are about 22 bucks and loaded. This is the only pizza place I eat in town they are the best. Everything is home made from scratch including pizza sauces and dips. And a great family business mom dad son the works. They are all from Greece so very authentic pizza. I love the Sicilian it's amazing with home made brucheta
