Absolutely great place to go for a nice meal. Coffee is french pressed at the table - only $3 and they leave the press at the table - outstanding. Food was amazing. I highly recommend this place. They even sang happy birthday at another table - group of around 8 servers. This was our second time there - ordering their specials of the night and from their menu. Amazing homemade Italian cuisine! The waitresses and waiters were really polite and overall service was great. I do reccomend leaving a reservation before you show up as there is usually a wait. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the food. Overall I would reccomend the Gnocci. Make sure to show up early if you want to find decent parking. Would reccomend this to anyone ( especially if they like Italian food) five stars or ten out of ten! Loved it

I love Moco. Every thing I've tried of the diner menu is good so far. The ambiance is relaxed, and the wine selection is nice. They have half appetizer nights, which is totally worth it. The mains are a bit pricey (20-30), so it's more of a special occasion kind of place. The quality matches the price, just don't go there on a small budget. The staff are also all nice. My only issue, is that the food at lunch time seems to not be as good as the diner menu. I didn't like the place the first time I went because it was for lunch, but when I had diner I fell in love. So although lunch is quite affordable here, I'd recommend going for diner. You can order some (I'm not sure if all) diner menu items during lunch if you know what your getting.

I typically never write reviews, but that could be because I've never been so blown away by food before dining at MOCO. My husband and I were driving from Ontario (Town of Blue Mountains) to Nova Scotia on our honeymoon and were only passing through Fredericton when we decided to stop for dinner and just happened upon moco. I ordered the Gnocchi Gorgonzola and my husband ordered the mushroom ravioli. Both were AMAZING. Seriously these dishes messed with our minds because we had never tasted pasta so good before. Fast forward two weeks and we hadn't stopped thinking about this place. We actually changed our itinerary around for driving back to Ontario so that we could spend a night in Fredericton SPECIFICALLY so we could have our last honeymoon date-night at moco. We both ordered the Gnocchi Gorgonzola this time because it was THAT good. So creamy. So smooth. So delicious. Our server both times was just the most perfectly sweet and attentive waitress.. I think her name was Hannah. This restaurant was a highlight of our honeymoon and if we ever return to the east coast, I can tell you for a fact that it will be 100% to come back to this restaurant.

The little donuts are made when we ordered so it still hot when I eat them. The service is very nice and they answer all my questions about the menu very friendly.

After two weeks of traveling around the maritimes, this was our last meal while heading home. It was probably the best of them all. Escargot, crab ravioli and fettuccine Alfredo were all great. Love the fact that they have homemade pasta. The service was excellent.

A wonderful evening. My parents and I went all out tonight at dinner. We had appetizers, mains, dessert, and coffee. The servers were attentive, and very friendly. They are at a reduced capacity due to COVID-19, and you by no means feel crowded or unsafe. The escargot was not what I was expecting in terms of preparation, but, it was so good, it had me eating all the mushrooms as well. The shrimp and scallop cakes were so much better than I was expecting and paired well with the slightly salty and spicy aoli. It was more than just your typical fish cake. Very crunchy outside and perfectly cooked seafood inside. For the mains, we split the special Chicken Calabrese (lots of veggies and almost perfectly cooked chicken) the Scallop Risotto (lots of tomato, perfect scallop sear, not too watery, not too clumpy, great risotto consistency) and the Sunday Pasta (3 large meatballs and perfectly cooked pasta). The deserts were Crème Brûlée which had a very thick, sugary crust with your standard light filling as well as the Irish Coffee (whipped cream and cherry and full sugar rim and all). A great way to end the evening.

If you're looking for an excellent dining experience this is a must try. They have some really well thought out appetizers, entrees and their desserts are amazing. My wife and I came here to celebrate a recent anniversary and we're so pleased by the amazing customer service. When we reserve we ask for a quiet table and we got just that. May I recommend table 30? It's a quiet spot that faces the window and if you're in good company like I was time will melt away. My wife and I tried four different cocktails from their menu and shared them amongst ourselves and we were very pleased with how well thought out and curated the drinks were. We also really loved our main and found that the food seemed to be really thought out and it wasn't just a menu to have a menu. Our waitress also went above and beyond offering us some of the best service we've ever had. If you're looking for a romantic night or want to celebrate a special occasion then I would highly recommend this lovely restaurant.

My husband and I went for our anniversary and left rolling out the door. The food was amazing. Flavors that hit each note on the palette and stick to your ribs good. We had the bruschetta trio to start. It had a beets mixture as one of the toppings, I enjoyed it but it wasnt to my husband's liking. Personal preference really. Mushroom ravioli and the scallop linguini were our mains and we got creme brule to finish. Kelcie was our server and was knowledgeable and a joy to spend the evening with. Thank you Moco for making our anniversary memorable. We cant wait to return!

A gem of a place! Beautiful space, tastefully decorated. The service and the food are exceptional! Our server was very attentive, helpful and just a lot of fun! The calamari was fresh, tender and well prepared. The rosemary foccacia with herbed olive oil and vinegar was fantastic. The cod was exceptional. One of the best pieces of fish that I have eaten! Moco is a "must experience" when in Fredericton.

Party of four trying Moco for the first time. Ordered the steak - it was so tough I was unable to cut it. The carrots in all four vegetable medleys were undercooked. They didn't charge for the steak and one other main - the pasta special. Chicken marsala mediocre but the rack of lamb good. Presentation poor - the salads should have been on side plates instead of heaped on one plate. Although we appreciated the refund gesture, we would have appreciated good food more.

This was our first time visiting MOCO Downtown. Marc and I both LOVED our experience and our food. It was so delicious. The drink menu was also very nice and they had different types of drinks for different types of people (I love a hoppy beer, while Marc prefers blondes usually). I had the mushroom ravioli, and wow! I could easily eat this over and over again, the taste was amazing. Marc ordered the steak with the side of fries with mayo truffle sauce. He always orders "well-done" steak (which, as we all know, isn't the proper way to eat steak - haha), which is what he ordered here. When he got his steak, it was obviously a medium-rare, but, Marc said that he loved it and is happy it was cooked this way! I also had a bite, and yes, SO delicious. We can't wait to come back to MOCO!

Wow! Decided to give this play a try and we were super impressed! Such a cute little spot with great friendly staff. We were lucky they found us a place to sit since we didn't have a reservation(i recommend getting one) but they squeezed us in! And the food was amazing! We started with Caesar Salad and were pretty excited about how good it was. And then came the chicken parm and pasta! I loved the pasta tomato, the sauce was amazing. Fresh pasta too!! And we also got another pasta dish, I think it was called like ricotta luna verde? It was rich and creamy and to die for! We were thrilled with our meal, literally the best spot we have eaten in New Brunswich thus far! We then stayed for some delicious coffees as well! Also just want to note how cute and amazing their bathrooms were!! They left markers and had lovely writing on the walls! Now since we loved it so much, on our way back to Ontario we stopped in one more time before our flight (We literally left early so we could squeeze in one more visit haha). We booked on google which was super awesome. We were even given a super cute special table in the front window since no one else was in the restaurant yet. We ordered the exact same thing as the first time with the addition of a small app of olives and cheese. Now I must say it was not as good as the first time around, the pasta tomato was mushy and over cooked, and the ricotta luna was really watery. Mildly disappointing for the last meal of our trip but I just told myself it was probably because they were just opening for the dinner shift - with all the other reviews and the first visit I assume this was a one off. I still highly recommend going here and will be back if ever our that way again!

Despite being a party of one (and a book) without a reservation, I was greeted warmly and given a good table even though it was obviously a busy night. The service was friendly and efficient, the casual ambience was on point and the food and drinks tremendous: a solid Negroni, the daily special Digby scallops appie were so yummy I could have eaten an entire meal of just that, the "omg-you-got-to-eat-these" gnocchi gorgonzola were perfect, the Chianti paired well and the only drawback, although still good, is that the tiramisu was just that, good (when everything else had been perfect) because there were chunks of mascarpone or cream cheese (?) not thoroughly blended. But overall, still a five stars!

I love this place. It's classy, the wines are good, and the food, even if a bit overpriced, is fit for fine dining. The waiters are always nice and professional and the general vibe is so chill. The music can be a bit loud but that can be changed by simply asking to turn the volume down. I recommend to take the fried calamari, which come with a delicious marinara sauce, black olives and these delicious little peppers that are not spicy but they are super flavorful. I also recommend to take the filet mignon with caramelized onions, fries and the truffle mayo. Simply fantastic. The only thing is that it is advertised as an Italian restaurant , but as an Italian costumer I have to say that is not entirely true. It is a kind of Italian cuisine that has been amply changed and modified for the north American palate.

We ordered take out for my birthday meal last night and it was awful. I paid $24 for mushroom ravioli with shrimp. There were 6 ravioli. That's it. We paid $14 for stuffed mushrooms. There were 6. We called the restaurant to find out if 6 was the correct amount. They said yes. Um okkkkkk then. $14 for 6 grocery store button mushrooms with a bit of filling and some cheese is ridiculous. My husband ordered the chicken Alfredo. It tasted like cardboard. I don't know where the Alfredo part of it was, because it was literally just some chicken with pasta and cream. No flavour. We spent over $60 on the tiniest amount of bland food. I'm so disappointed. I'll never ever eat here again and never recommend it to anyone unless they had major surgery and can only eat bland food.

We've ordered take out once and dined in twice and always amazing! The rack of lamb, their take on caesar salad, brown butter gnocchi, walnut pesto escargot and the mushroom ravioli are all must haves. We order all every time as we just can't chose. We have had an issue with steak doneness but that was quickly rectified. I would like to request a walnut pesto pasta if it's not a special already in the rotation as it is just amazing! Every time we visit Fredericton, Moco is a must for dinner.

Fantastic food! Probably much better for eat-in than takeout especially at the price point. I did takeout and it was delicious with some setbacks so my rating is giving them the benefit of the doubt. I'll be back for more in person :) I enjoyed all of their pastas: Shrimp puttanesca was tasty: shrimp wasn't rubbery and I loved the saltiness from the olives. Sunday Pasta is a delicious standard and held well for travel; noodles and sauce we're fantastic and the meatballs were a little dry. Beef pappardele was too dry the day-of and the pasta stuck together BUT it was the best of the lot on day 2 when I added a little extra water before warming it up -- it's an inevitable side effect from the takeout but I'm happy to enjoy it from the comfort of my home. I'd be up for just ordering the escargot with the crostini to-go for easy dipping. It would be enjoyable out on a park bench with a few extra napkins for the buttery goodness. Divine! Calamari is no good for takeout: it gets soggy and I didn't enjoy the way the chickpea flour worked post-travel home.

If you’re looking for great food in Fredericton, look no further! I spent 3 weeks in Fredericton and ended up eating here for most of my meals or getting takeout from here. It’s tasty, it’s versatile, and everything I’ve had has been excellent. The lamb chops were my favorite, and their daily specials are always a good bet. I was not impressed with the restaurant scene in Fredericton until I came to Moco, it was a breath of fresh air and the staff is super friendly. The wine selection is excellent and they have a number of healthy options. Thanks Moco!

This Italian restaurant located downtown of Fredericton is a hidden gem. They have a lot on the menu to offer including drinks. The atmosphere is great for a romantic dinner or Friday get together party. The wait time for the food is not so bad even during the busy evening. The parking could be tricky as they are limited space near the restaurant. However, there plenty if you are happy to walk 2-3 minutes. The street parking is free after 5 PM from Monday to Friday and always free on Weekend and holidays. I enjoyed my food so much and totally forget to take the pictures of the food. So, I will add them next time.

The service was truely horrible. We waited an hour and forty six minutes for our food. After an hour (not sure why it took an hour to figure that out) our waitress came over to tell us they were out of gnocchi so I selected another dish, 35 mins later they bring out our meals only to find out my husband's was wrong he would have just eaten it at this point because we were starving but he has a seafood allergy (our waitress was told) and of course it had seafood in it. So at this point we are left with just my dish and no cutlery we waited for a few minutes thinking she would come back then went and grabbed our own. Ten minutes later we finally got his dish. If we wanted a drink we always had to flag our waitress down. The food was okay the steak was cooked perfect, risotto was great, the pasta was disappointing. There is nothing worse than watching table after table that was seated after you get there food before you... Was there an apology or did a manager come over, Nope...

The atmosphere was so nice, the decor, the seating, the music, everything. The food was so good, it was so fresh and tasty. The service was also outstanding, our server Sarah checked in on us quite often and made sure everything was great. The food also came out in decent time. On our way out we walked by at least 5 staff members and they all wished us a good night and thanked us for coming in. Honestly wish I had of visited this restaurant sooner. If you're in Fredericton, this is the place to eat!

My husband and I tried moco for the first to.e tonight and we're both surprised at just how magnificent this little place is! The service was outstanding, our waitress never let our glass sit empty, was knowledgeable and extremely friendly. Our waitress brought our drinks (the mojito is excellent, the basil gives it a fun twist). We started with brie and artichoke dip, and deep fried rice balls with pesto, mozzarella and house sauce (I can't for the life of me remember what there called!). The appetizers were fantastic, after a bite of each we looked at each other and just aid "wow". The appys had us filled with anticipation waiting for our mains, but in between we were surprised with bread and a garlicky oil dip. We loved it (heads up, if you aren't a garlic lover go easy on it!). My husband ordered tonights pasta special (pulled beef pasta with tomato and browned butter), I stole more than a couple bites. The flavour was rich and satisfying. I had chicken parmesan, with fettucini alfredo, the portion was huge, the flavour in the alfredo sauce was perfectly baclanced, the chicken was superb. For dessert we had a vanilla bean creme bruise and it was delicious, creamy, and "burnt" to perfection. When the bill came we were pretty surprised that all of this food came in under 100$! The prices are so low for the quality of food and service moco provides! Highly recommend checking them out, we will certainly be back.
