My husband and I have been looking for a great Asian place to eat and J's kitchen is going to be our new go to. We ate well and at a decent price. The sushi pizza had great textures, small so dont expect an actual pizza. The spring rolls were the best we've had, hot and crispy. The sushi rolls were delicious and fresh and the miso soup was perfect. I'm coming back for the bibinbop and the ramen next time!

I had J's for the first time during Harvest last fall. I was coming down the stairs from Wilsers and there they were like a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. I got spring rolls for the stroll home and immediately wanted to go back after my first bite. Their service is great and takeout/delivery is awesome. Some of the best grub downtown.

Ordered from this location the other day and the food was specular! I order the Bento Box A and everything in it was delicious and well portioned. The bulgogi and the tempura shrimp were my stand out favourites. Would order again when my parents are up for a visit, they enjoyed it as well.

Great food, amazing staff. They even bring free food and dessert at times. The waiter forgot to bring out a dish we had ordered that cost $15 and brought us free dessert. Once we told him we didn't receive a dish he went back and got it for us and it ended up being on the house.

This is a very good asian restaurant in downtown area. It offers great variety of asian food (Korean, Japanese, Thai, etc.) It is a lovely place for dining in with plenty of tables and seats. If you want to eat at home, they offer take-out plus delivery via Skip The Dishes with the highest rate on Skip The Dishes app. The owners and staffs are very nice. The service is always great. However during the peak hours, you may have to wait a bit to be seated and the food may take more time to be prepared.

Food probably would have been good but after an hour wait, it never arrived. The restaurant gave the wrong Skip The Dishes courier our order. My wife has dietary restrictions and our other options around town on Sunday was pub food (cheese and meat), which wasn't an option for her. The restaurant refused to remake our order because they were nearing closing time, and we were forced to find something else to eat, already hungry and now cranky too. I wouldn't reccomend ordering J's through skip the dishes.

Awesome restaurant! First had their pad thai at the garrison night market and just went to the actual restaurant for dinner tonight. The atmosphere inside is great, it is sophisticated yet cozy. The servers are very friendly and we even received complimentary miso soup to start and a complimentary dessert which was a nice touch. The sushi was superb - best I have had in Fredericton so far. The rice was perfect and the interior was tasty as well. I would love to see them expand their veggie sushi options. We also had noodle dishes which were great and a good portion size. Overall a great experience and we will be back!

I love the wide breadth of asian cuisine here. Phò, sushi, japchae, bibimbap, raman. Good for an indecisive group. I've eaten here four or five times, getting something different everytime, and always walked away satisfied. The decor hints at an intriguing history.

Visiting Fredericton, we just ordered for the first time from J’s, based on a recommendation from a local, and I’m glad we did! The bulgogi was delicious, the beef nice and tender, and the japchae was tasty. Note: the “spicy” option is indeed quite spicy, even for someone with a pretty high spice tolerance. Good-sized portions for the price. Excellent value. Definitely recommended!

The service was amazing and the food was even better. We had a group of 6 and we ordered quite a bit of food with apps so we expected to wait. In no time the waitress brought over comped gyoja along with our apps and apologized for our wait(we didn't wait that long). Then the rest of the food was served within 15 minutes at most. The food was amazing and to top it all off they brought a small piece of cheesecake and whipped cream which was fantastic. If you haven't been, you need to go!!!

New favorite place to eat in Fredericton. The dishes are amazing, it's affordable, and the staff are incredible. If you sit inside they usually will provide some freebies like miso soup or a small dessert and check in to make sure everything is good. Very attentive. We often order takeout and sometimes get a handwritten thank you on the lid of a special little treat box. I wish them all the best and hope for their continued success in downtown Fredericton :)

Honestly J's Asian Kitchen is probably one of my favourite restaurants in Fredericton. The staff is incredible polite and friendly to everyone that comes into their restaurant. My best friend and I always go to J's Asian Kitchen when we go on friend dates, we both have said that the quality and price is by far best you can find in the city. :)

I came in Sunday 2:20pm, based on their hours on the web, they are open. When I arrived, the sign on the door also says open, when I get in, a guy lying on the chair got up said they are on lunch break, and he is not happy that I disturbed his nap, and he got up and felt like he is drove me out, very rude. Shouldn’t they put a “Close” sign outside the door if they are on lunch break?

This is the best value for money sushi in the Fredericton area. Service was very good. The kimchi ramen noodles were delicious. The only critique I would have of this restaurant would be the beverage selection, and I would consider that to be nit picking on my behalf. Overall ambience was great. To summarize had a great date night, food was outstanding and I will be back again. Definitely recommend.

I've been going since the opening week. The food was brilliant then, and it continues to be brilliant. Lunch specials are incredibly priced for volume and flavor, the ramen is rich and heart warming, the phō is clean and refreshing, and the Pad Thai is creamy and rich. Special extra bonus points for the kimchi Jeon and the Kimchi ramen. Do yourself a monumental favor and stop in.

The kimchi was nice & spicy, the miso soup sublime, nice crispy tempura with both savory and spicy dipping sauces, & the bulgogi & rice nicely spiced and tender. The contactless delivery was right on time. An excellent delivery dinner experience.

I have always loved J's; beautiful seating area, great food and super friendly staff... however since everything is closed right now, it left me with no choice but to order their food to go. I was not expecting to receive the same positive experience from their staff in the comfort of my own home, but J's did a lovely job showing appreciation of my support regardless of actually physically being in the restaurant. They even included an extra little additional thank you surprise with my meal where they were considerate enough to take in the fact I may be vegetarian (which I am) solely based off of what I ordered. Thank you J's, you guys are the best!!!

We just did an office lunch here at Go To Insure for 11 people! Picked from the lunch menu on line and had it delivered by Skip the Dishes. The most wonderful take out I have eaten from a restaurant in Fredericton period! We ordered at 10 and it was here at 11: 55 AM and the food was still the perfect temperature.

This use be my favourite restaurant and I’m really sad to say that it’s been different lately. I always get the vegan pad Thai and I’ve never had issues but the last 5 times Ive asked for it vegan and It’s come with egg on it. The portion size has also been A LOT smaller for $17.

And we got some free delicious dessert!-This was a Thursday evening Update: we had a second dinner here this Friday night and we were very disappointed! 1. We ordered gyoza for appetizer and edamames and only the second appetizer came,the gyozas were not entered in the order. I asked for my order twice, first time they told me that is coming and after we finished our meals they told us that our gyozas were not ordered by the other waitress who took our order. I guess the owner should train it’s staff! 2. Too many people serving us (3 people), which did the failure of our order and service. 3. My husband ordered Chicken PadThai and got pork PadThai ( luckily he doesn’t have a religion restriction about eating pork ) 4. I ordered Vermicelli which was way too salty! You don’t need to add so much salt for a meal to taste good! So my 5 stars went down to 3.

It’s about time Freddy got a quality Asian food restaurant and this is it. I’m particularly a fan of their bulgogi and jeon, but their ramen is also good (and also the only joint in town which serves it). The owners are very friendly and it is quite evident that they care about this place.

J's is delicious! The service is incredible, they really go above and beyond to make your dining experience special (they even threw in a free dessert and salad!). We started with soups - miso and a wonton soup, which were yummy and hadha very tastey homemade broth. Then, the table split two rolls - spicey salmon & a dynamite roll. The quality was excellent - and I am an avid sushi fan. We ended off with pad Thai & bulgogi. Overall, our experience here was one of the best in Fredericton and I'll certainly be back :)
