The relaunch spruced up my feelings for the place! Service was phenomenal and the meal was delicious! The portions were great and the atmosphere was modern and homey. I got the terragon chicken with crock pot poutine and holy jumpins was it good. The chicken was juicy and crispy. The poutine was full of flavor and the side salad was fresh! Will definitely go again!

Due to Covid coming back to New Brunswick with full force, me and my gf decided to eat take out instead of in store. Normally you can expect portions to be smaller and the food not as good, but we found this to be the opposite! Food portions were large and even packaging was great! We will continue getting takeout from them as things continue getting worse.. hopefully next year we will be back inside :) until then this is great!

Awful service. Waited 20 minutes for someone to take my order and my meal wasn't great either. I had an eggs Benedict special on a homemade biscuit. The biscuit was bland and dry which ruined the dish. Hash browns were good though

I am a fan of this restaurant. The food is top notch and in most cases is home made. The deserts are very well made and are 5 stars. The staff is helpful, knowledgeable and genuinely interested in making sure your dining experience is of the highest level. There could be some easy renovations that would make the place look more inviting however that does not effect the food itself. B+ will go here again.

We went into the restaurant and did not even sit down and we left. It was disappointing. We had two 84 year old seniors with us. The waiters and witresses saw us but no one approached us to sit us. We felt ignored and when we finally got their attention and they told us the four empty tables are reserved. We were offered a hard sit. We said we would like the cushioned sits for the seniors and we got a NO so we left. The young lady was a bit rude and not apologetic at all. Bad impression the first time visiting Fredericton.

Lovely breakfast here this morning! They made my hubby a special gluten free French Toast using a separate pan to ensure no cross contamination. I enjoyed a simple 3-cheese omelette, sans the potatoes. The place was packed but we were served quickly and our servers couldn’t have been nicer! Great tasting coffee and nice music playing while we were there. Claudine’s is a thriving successful eatery and a fantastic local gem. So glad we came!

Claudine's used to be such an amazing brunch spot, but has really gone down hill since opening their new location. Most recently (and reason we will not be returning), we visited on a Saturday morning and were seated at the "Hipster Corner" - if you choose to eat at Claudine's DO NOT SIT HERE. Our coffee order was forgotten by the hostess and we were missed on several trips she made by for coffee refills. When our server arrived and we asked for a refill, he joked that we had been cut-off... It would have been funny if we hadn't sat with an empty cup for 15 minutes while trying to flag someone down. Our food took over 45 minutes to arrive at our table and it was fairly evident my eggs benedict sat in the window while my husband's chicken was being overcooked. When I asked that my cold and yet somehow over-done eggs be remade, our server obliged and returned with under-cooked, runny eggs that made a huge mess.. even the egg whites were under. After over an hour, what do you do? We ate our food and left. So the service was depressing, food underwhelming, and we sat facing a wall being ignored by the staff.. brunch at the old Claudine's would have been way better and felt less like detention.

Found this restaurant via trip advisor. It did not disappoint. Great decor, service and meal. We will likely go back for breakfast on return trip as the eggs benny are rumored to be amazing. Clams were plentiful, mains were excellent (seafood pasta and chowder) and dessert was made from scratch excellent. Our server Olivia was awesome!

The goat ceasar was cool. But the food wasn't that good. There was little to no seasoning, covered my dish in dried basil. And carrots were so salty for some reason. Service was okay. I would only go here to try the GOAT Ceasar and that's about it.

I went here with a group of coworkers for Dine Around Freddy. It was a great spot for such an occasion and their novelty Caesar's are hilarious. I had the pumpkin soup which could have used a bit more salt but otherwise very flavourful. The BBQ chicken, potatoes and veggies were so fresh and I would go back just for those mashed potatoes again. For dessert I had the molasses cake which was moist and warm enough that the cream on top started to melt over it, making sure you had some in every bite.

I went there for brunch with some friends and it was great. There was a small wait (~10 minutes) as we went there at noon on a Saturday when everyone goes to brunch. The place was decorated nicely and the wait staff were very polite and friendly. The food came unexpectedly quick with how busy the place was! The portions were a great size for the price, and most import the food was amazing! I thank I may have a new favorite brunch spot in Fredericton.

Wonderful. I actually stumbled into the restaurant by mistake. Parked the rental car in the parking of the place what looked liked a strip mall to check if there are any good restaurants around. Claudine's was next door. Everything from the point we stepped in, the service during the meal, and afterwards was top notch. My first trip to NB ended up on a high (Yes I am a foodie). Check their breakfast menu. Benedicts are a must. I had the buttermilk fried chicken Benedicts. Crunchy from outside ,soft and juicy from the inside. If I am in town, I am definitely coming in again. I hope they open soon in Toronto.

We co-invented with the waiter sweet potatoes lobster poutine- loved the result. Libster rolls were great. Local beer recommended rounded it all nicely. Excellent dinner! Will definitely recommend.

Visited this restaurant with my mother and 2-year-old son recently. Ordered sweet potato fries and a side garden salad for myself, a side Caesar salad for my mom and the kids chicken fingers and fries for my son. Because my son doesn't have a huge appetite we thought that he and my mom would be able to share the chicken fingers and fries to accompany her salad. When our meal arrived the size of the portion on the plates for the sweet potato fries and the chicken fingers and fries were very unimpressive. To pay $5.50 for an order of sweet potato fries you would expect that the plate would be overflowing (as is the case with most restaurants) but the fries were received on a small plate that was not nearly filled. The size of the kids meal was also very small. The two chicken fingers on the plate were slightly overcooked and there were only maybe 15 fries on the plate. To pay $6.50 for this meal was ridiculous! The portions sizes really should be adjusted to match the prices. I won't be back and wouldn't recommend it to friends.

My eggs were overcooked. One of the people with me got over easy eggs when they asked for poached. They pressured my 8 year old son to order scrambled eggs instead of hard boiled like he wanted. Skimpy on the hollandaise. The server was clumsy. Never going back.

Went to Claudine's today for lunch. We were quickly greeted and seated very shortly after they finished cleaning a table. Service was fast and polite and the atmosphere is wonderful. I ordered the Shaved Prime Rib Eggs Benny and my husband ordered the Buttermilk Chicken Benny. Both were amazing. We were both raving about how great they were while we finished every bite. We also ordered a stater of Parm Fries with garlic aioli. They are so, so, so good. We can't get enough of them. Can't wait to go back and try something new... Or get more of that eggs Benny, because... drool.

The new Dundonald location looks great! I went for brunch and got the buttermilk fried chicken eggs benedict. I will be getting that again! Absolutely perfect eggs and they nailed the fried chicken. The service was warm and inviting. This is one of the few restaurants in the city that actually keep on top of coffee refills. They came back to fill my coffee like 5 times! I've been to Claudine's twice now. The first time my daughter took me out for Father's Day. The place was packed so we expected to wait for a bit. We ordered a couple of Caesars which were delicious and weren't finished by the time our meals arrived. I had one of their many eggs benedicts and it was awesome! We went back one other time and I think it was just after their lunch rush. I was disappointed when I saw that breakfast wasn't offered after a certain hour but much to my surprise the server said "of course we can make you breakfast!" I'll be back again!

My wife and I went there on a date with our granddaughter -- Eggs Benny was great (so many types to choose from, their specialty), and my wife's seafood pasta was very good as well. Went with a large group so it's difficult. But they forgot my wife's and her brothers order. When they did bring their food it wasn't what they ordered but they still billed them for food that never came. They had computer problems so they struggled to split the bill and to take orders. Had the maritime breakfast the meat was great but the pancakes weren't very good. Wait staff was super friendly and took our orders in French which was nice. I suspect we caught them on an off day.

Loved loved loved my supper at Claudine's! This was my bday supper with my family. I had never been before and didn't really have an impression before going, but I was very impressed. The service was excellent, our server was so patient and nice, even took our group picture, we didn't even ask, they offered! My meal was so so delicious and the portions we're just right, allowing me to enjoy some delicious chocolate cake at the end. I am so happy I went and can't wait to go again. The ambiance is so nice and relaxing as well, and who doesn't love a good locally owned and operated restaurant! Well done!

A friend and i eat out most monday evenings. We like to try different places. Tonight we tried claudine's. My friend got hers first and it must have been the smallest piece of haddock ever. I believe her meal was 12.99. Definately not worth the price. I ordered seafood chowder which i usually love. The waitress said it was very good. I would give it 1 out of 10. The menu said lobster shrimp haddock clams and scallops. No lobster, no scallops, no clams. It had a couple of tiny salad shrimp and a bit of haddock. The only taste was a very starchy taste and i ordered cheesecake to try to get rid of the bad taste left in my mouth. Would not recommend.

Just ate at the new location and very disappointed. I use to love the original menu, the options and the quality of food. Since the move a lot of the items have been removed so, we tried new things. California club...on a very hard/ dry ciabatta bun, over cooked breaded chicken, one slice of tomato, the cheese was nowhere to be seen and a garlic aioli with zero flavor..the fries tasted great but were cold and then there was what I believe to be their take on purple coleslaw but tasted more like purple cabbage tossed in a little oil. Waitress was friendly yet when pointed out my water glass had lipstick on it, I was brought a second glass of water in another dirty glass. Orders were taken quickly but the wait time for food was over half hour with only 7 other people in the restaurant. Prices have increased quite a bit yet, the quality has certainly decreased. Hopefully they can bring back what they had, A diner full of charm and amazing comfort food. Sometimes change isn't good.

I was really quite dissipointed with my experience. The new location has a very modern feel, which is pulled off well but doesn't have the same charming little diner vibe of the old location. It's also incredibly cramped on a busy day. Orders were taken fairly quickly but the actual food took an exceptionally long time to arrive and when it did some of it was cold, and some of it wasn't prepared or plated very well. Coffee refills were done regularly but not water. Overall a big dissipointment-I really liked Claudine's before but I doubt I'll be back now.

I was in this morning for breakfast with my family. It was not busy and the food was good, but the service was poor. Though the waiter was friendly , little attention was paid to us to make sure we had coffee or water, and part of out meal had been forgotten. So that person ended up eating alone after the rest of us had finished. Not sure I would go back again as I found it expensive and had poor service.

Cutest atmosphere. Just ate there with a party of 3. Not only was the wait an hour to get our food from the time we sat down but when the food did arrive all our orders were wrong. We all ordered Benny's with varying cooks on the eggs and different topings. The person who requested her eggs cooked hard had the softest eggs of the bunch completely runny, my eggs which I requested soft were cooked to death hard and the English muffin was wrong. They asked how it was and I was honest. Exressing that all the dishes were wrong cooks on the egg as well as the English muffins being mixed up. The waiter immediately just checked his iPod to confirm what we ordered which was what I had said then said he would get us new eggs. He didn't apologize and wasn't polite. 20 minutes later our new eggs arrive which were simply plain poached egg and a side of sauce to which we had to put on our own cold and now soggy English muffins (that were still wrong). It was discusting. He asked if it was better and again I was honest but . no apology or admittance that they screwed up. In the end they didn't charge me for mine But didn't discount anyone elses. Wasn't polite at all about it. On the plus side. We had to wait for a table outside for like 20 minutes and they were super nice and brought us coffee.

First visit in their new location. Small and a bit crowded when full. Can be eating elbow to elbow. However, the waiter was very nice and obliging. Service was a bit slow but when our breakfast arrived it was hot (except the eggs were obviously the first things on the plate). Coffee was good and it was hot. Had to ask for a refill. Had them tell a customer that the turkey was sold out and there was a mix up with someone's omelets. I think they have some new staff and just need to get the wrinkles ironed out.

Vary disappointed today with my prim rib eggs Benedict. I've been faithfully going to this restaurant once twice a month. Unfortunately my order this time was too salty and the soft poached eggs were over cook hard eggs. I can accept bad day for a cook but when I told the young server she said sorry and continue on her day and place the plate in for cleaning. No staff followed up on my disappointment I payed full price and left. After I drop my wife to work I decided to go see management to tell them what happened. When I asked for anybody in charge no management in at moment I was told. Well here's my experience a regular costumer at 40+$ a month is not returning for lack of management.

Ordered a club house sandwich. A little on the small side. The bread wasn't toasted enough and the fries were almost soggy. Overall not as good as the last time I was there on the north side.

Although this place is a touch more pricey, it's worth it! The portion sizes are good, the presentation is fabulous, and the taste is perfect. It would be a great place for a date, or to take your mom out for lunch. We will be going back again and again.
