This restaurant doesn't live up to the hype. For the price, i expected delicious food, but it was just average, and in tiny portion sizes. I've been back several times only because my friends wanted to try it, and i was disappointed with the quality every time. You can find much better tasting food at a lower price elsewhere in the city. The 2 stars are because they actually did accommodate a vegan friend without too much fuss.

If you like to try something new weather it's good or drinks have you covered I tried a Basil Smasher I believe it was called and it may have been one of the best drinks I've ever had!

This classic Fredericton restaurant endures as a great place to meet, eat and drink. A skilled chef and friendly, professional staff mean the food is excellent and served attentively. The menu is often updated and daily specials keep things fresh. The resident sommelier ensures the wine list is excellent, with a varied cellar to support it. The patio is excellent in summer, and offers views of downtown.

I made a reservation online with a note: my son’s birthday. When we came in on time we were waiting 10 minutes for a table because they didn’t save a table for us. The main menu we got in 1hr. 20 minutes after ordering. We were waiting for beverages 15-20 minutes. The place is very tight and dark, uncomfortable small tables and chairs, the meals were tasty but overpriced. We were not satisfied!

The food was excellent, well executed and presented. Even the kids penne had the finishing touch that makes the plate stand out. We were lucky enough to sit right by the band on the patio. If only I could give 10 stars. This was simply a phenomenal meal. Every last bite was full of flavour, from the vegetables to the meat and even the garnish. We had the scallops with pork belly and would have had another one if we could have. The tuna tartare with strawberry, so fresh and bursting with taste. We followed with the lamb risotto, with meat that was incredibly tender and complimented by the risotto. The duck breast was cooked just right and the vegetables held their own. Samantha ensured our evening was perfect.

This is likely the best restaurant in Fredericton, at least in terms of quality, and also the fanciest, that I've been to. Of course, you can expect to pay accordingly - it is very expensive. They don't do a great job of catering to vegetarians (though there are options), but for the meat-inclined and moderately wealthy, it is an excellent place to eat, for an occasion.

One of Fredericton's top places to dine! Is pricey but always a great meal. Our waitress was extraordinary and made our birthday girl feel extra special. I had to say that the food there is amazing we took the Canadian Wagyu steak to share and a bowl of carbonara on the side The steak is expensive but it's Worth it. You have to try it at least once, it's a lot better than filet mignon on the taste and on texture. Service is very good. From the bar with the best bartender or on the floor with a lot of waiter, you won't be disappointed. And yes the picture represent how they serve it to you I just take some pieces on the side but it's pretty much how you'll receive your steak

We stopped in here on a quiet Friday afternoon and the owner made us feel right at home. The mixologist and him offered a free cocktail to showcase their new creation. You can tell the staff here really takes pride in their work. Overall great food, service and friendly atmosphere!

The serving staff were very nice and everything came quick. Unfortunately though we ordered 2 pasta dishes that were underwhelming and one had considerably undercooked pasta that was replaced and they gave us a free desert. Considering the pasta dishes were $26 each it's difficult to recommend this place based on this experience. I hope next time we visit Fredericton we'll be able to hear that this was a rare occasion and they are doing better.

Awesome establishment. We were looking for some tasty grub and some light tunes. What do you know, buddy is ripping up slow jams on the ivories! We enjoyed fish cakes, bacon wrapped scallops and muscles in garlic cream sauce.... we had to ask for extra bread to get in as much sauce as we could. Food was wicked, staff were on the ball. Nailed it with the wine flights! We'll be back

I've been meaning to post this 5-star review since visiting Fredericton back in October (absolutely lovely city, by the way!) I ordered the daily special of halibut, which had been caught earlier that day. It was literally the best thing I've ever eaten in my entire life and I honestly often think about how freaking amazing it was - it was the meal all meals will forever be compared against!!! I can't wait until I am able to visit again - Fredericton, you have a gem!!!

I would have given five stars but I took my wife for our anniversary dinner. It was our first time to restaurant. She went on recommendation of a coworker to have the salmon. They did not have any and it's on their menu. That was disappointing.

Nice environment and great service. Everything is crazy over priced for what you get - especially when there are plenty of other great dining options in Fredericton for more reasonable prices. I got their salmon feature with Fettuccini Alfredo and the pasta was delicious. The salmon was an embarrassingly small portion for a salmon feature. It was a little square of salmon placed on top of the pasta. The $14 old fashioned just wasn't made with the attention you would expect for that price. I'm okay with splurging on a fancy dinner but the kitchen and bartenders better deliver for those prices and I just feel that they didn't. Our service was excellent though and it's a really nice environment.

The food was excellent. My party had 4 different dishes (Tenderloin, Maple Curry Pasta, Salmon and Beef Bourguignon) with the Baked Brie appetizer. Every meal was excellent, some of the best food we have had in a Restaurant in the past years. The only thing less than perfect was the Coffee. It was very bitter. For the two that tried it, one could not drink it at all and the other did but it was too bitter to fully enjoy.

We just had dinner May 22/21. Brewbakers recently reopened under new management. Doug is a great operator. Dinner was amazing! The scallops and pork belly app was so good, we were amazed. While they were out of about half of the items on the menu, what was available was delicious. Bacon wrapped scallops were seared to perfection, while the Striploin steak left nothing to be desired. We had the rooftop patio to ourselves and our server (I did not catch his name) did a great job from start to finish. Had a great time and will be returning.

This is one of our favourite restaurants in Fredericton for a special night out. It is really cozy, especially the tables in the bar. On a hot summer’s night, the outdoor patio is lovely too. The servers are friendly and helpful. We have tried many of the items on the menu and and each one (including desserts) is beautifully presented.

Used to take my wife here for anniversary dates. Great atmosphere and staff. A little expensive but its really one of the only high quality restaurants in town. I guess we stopped going when the Garrison opened but we should really go back sometime to see what its like after the big renovation. I recall they are the only restaurant in town that makes lamb properly.

Out of any place I've been in Fredericton, this place nails it for me. Blew my expectations way out of the water. The fried brie, an incredible display with lovely combinations of flavors that were ecstasy in my mouth. The half rack of lamb, a perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned, and absolutely mouthwatering piece with potatoes light like air and dissolve and coat the tongue as ice cream. The staff were pleasant and came to check at proper points and I never felt neglected. Will be definitely coming back to try more.

Food was delicious and the service was fantastic, if you're looking for a great restaurant for any date nights this is the place to be. Only complaint is we were seated by our waitress at a table directly beside the entrance for the bartenders upstairs. And every time they needed ice they would scoop it out and toss it into this enormous bucket with enough noise to make you jump out of your skin. The food is absolutely stunning, and the service was was equally so. I just wish they didnt have seats there, it totally ruined the experience!

I'm so glad we came here for lunch while we were in Fredericton. This is one of the best meals of our trip. The mussels we started with were amazing! They have many gluten free options, I wouldn't have guessed the pasta I had was gluten free, it was that good!! I asked about the spiciness level of the carbonara sauce and the waitress had them tone it back for me, it was perfect. We packed up half of our entrees to go so we would have room for dessert, I'm so glad we did because the creme brulee was perfection.

Much more expensive than it was worth. I had the maple chicken penne and was disappointed. The noodles had clearly stuck to the bottom of the pot as they were being cooked. Not a lot of chicken in the portion, and an even more surprisingly small amount of pasta underneath. I would say it was the size of a light lunch, but I definitely paid dinner prices.

Me and a friend of mine wanted to try something different so we both decided to go to brew bakers for supper. When we arrived we instantly felt the classy vibe that the restaurant gives off and the staff was very polite from the moment we walked in the door, to the moment we left. The food was very nice quality, more of an upscale menu in my opinion with what I would call "fancy dishes" but non the less our food was great and I would definatly recommend this establishment for anyone looking to to dress up a little and go out for a more classy meal.

If there is one place you have to eat at while in Fredericton, this is the place. Brewbakers is my go-to place whenever I am in Fredericton on business. The varied and changing menu tastes great, whether you prefer traditional pub fare, salads, or sandwiches. The freshly made beignets are also worth a bite. On top of the great food, Brewbakers has the nicest and most helpful staff, so be sure to treat/tip them well!.

This place is our favorite spot to eat in fredericton. Food, service, atmosphere, all amazing!!! Only reason I didn't give it a 5 star cause pricing is a little high. Food and drink are higher priced then most places and really shouldn't be. All in all definitely worth a stop. P.s please please please bring back the carbonara linguini. Best pasta in town, don't know why it isn't on menu anymore??

My husband and I went out for a nice dinner kid free. I've always wanted to go to Brewbakers. I was so impressed with how friendly the staff are. The food was phenomenal. We will definitely be going back again!!

The food and service were excellent. I appreciated the varied menu, with a range of flavour profiles and veg notions. Not a spot for a cheap dinner. The only complaint I have is that the steep stairs make it rather inaccessible.

I would like to tell you about my experience at Brewbaker's. We had friends visiting from Maine and went to Brewbaker's for dinner on December 19th. The service was great. We had a very nice waitress and none of this is her fault. I ordered the haddock cakes for an appetizer and it comes with a salad. I shared it with my husband. I was eating and all of a sudden I knew there was something in my mouth that should not be there. I was very rude and spit out what was in my mouth on my plate. It was a green bug that landed on it's back and was still alive. The waitress was very apologetic but it was not her fault. Apparently she told the Manager,Doug, but he did not come near us. I did not make a scene due to the fact that there were other people trying to enjoy there meal. I did not enjoy my meal and we brought it home but ended up throwing it in the garbage. The price of the haddock cakes was taken off our meal. I did call Doug the next day. What do you think they should of done for us ? I certainly will not be going back any time soon.

Very nice restaurant but the food and drinks are very expensive...14$ for a ceasar and 16$ for a mixed drink...we ended up not eating but we took a look at the menu and the least expensive meal was 18$ (pasta)

Rather skimpy and overpriced compared to other restos in town: the pasta with clams was overcooked; the rabbit dish was tasty but tiny. Ambience was OK but nothing special. The steep staircase must be daunting for some patrons.

Casual fine dining at its finest. Certainly a pricier evening out, but the ambience, food, and service were all exceptional. A diverse menu with a wide selection of beers as well. The steak was phenomenal and the scallops were fantastic. 10/10 would recommend

Great staff. Food was over priced. I don't like paying $45 for an entree that has dry mashed potatoes and 3 pieces of asparagus with no seasoning. As well the menu said it came with more. Not the first time it's happened. $200 for 2 people and the food is bland. Not a great experience.

Staff are very friendly and polite. The food was good. I ordered PEI mussels but I don’t think they were very fresh but the creamy sauce was yummy with the garlic bread. The house salad was a good portion. The tenderloin wrapped with bacon was very tender and tasty. I also enjoyed very much the creen brûlée. I would definitely come back.

We have been here numerous times and love it every time! Staff is wicked, and probably the best food in town, I had a steak which I typically do not get at a restaurant because I am usually disappointed, not at brewbakers! Probably the best steak I have ever eaten!
