I've gone to their new location 4 times and it's been awful each time I've gone. The service is awful, and they never seem to have enough staff considering the size of the restaurant. Their wait times for food is outrageous; I've still never been able to try their brunch menu because the place is packed and wait times of over an hour. I tried their deep fried mozza sticks and it smelled like the deep fry oil was old and hadn't been changed. Also they are closed on stat holidays which is disappointing for locals and those staying in the hotel. Do not recommend.

I went here for Sunday brunch. Because it was Father's Day it was pretty busy, but the service was friendly and it didn't take long to get our food. I ordered a Mexican omelette, which was delicious and big enough to bring leftovers home. I would love to come here again to try their dinner.

We have dined numerous times and whilst some meals have been very good, we have also equally had some pretty bad experiences. For one, the Music is unpredictable in volume and at times is so loud that one cannot enjoy a meal. Second, one waitress who seems to be the lead, plays the music extremely loud and seems most times to be ‘high’ which leads to wait times and mistakes too numerous to list. Unfortunate, because we seem to get her often and most of the other servers are the complete opposite as being speedy and effective. But the worst experience was seeing a mouse run across the dining floor last night. One diner was on his phone when the mouse skirted past his table and I saw the little creature dashing across the floor, both of us were not impressed and aghast! The staff did not seem too concerned about this incident. I would like to support Mondo’s but first they need to tune-up the unpredictable service and keep the Music at a low and comfortable level. Second and Most important, implementation of a pest control system! If that mouse was in the dining room, it could easily be in food preparation and food storage areas, further, when you see one rodent, there are usually many more that you don’t see.

Went for breakfast with my wife. Was seated quickly. The wait for menu's and coffee was long. The wait for the food once ordered was long. However, the food was excellent. Well worth the wait, mostly. Will return when I have 2 - 3 hours of unscheduled time.

A decent local eatery...like real hand pressed burgers, fresh cut fries, etc. The Mondo salad is huge and tasty. But as with all things local, it lacks....mmm...polish? The tables need refinishing...the plants are at best surviving...you know, the little things that set a winner apart from a survivor. The servers are always happy though...so kudos to them...worth a visit a few times a year for sure...

Really good food, I would give it five stars if the customer service improves a little bit. The reason why I say that is because I have to flag down the waitress/waiter to get refills on drinks or just simple things such as Ketchup or Hot Sauce for breakfast meals. If that improves a bit then I would be willing to rate this five stars :)

Ok, not going to lie, it is on the expensive side. But for the price on that bill, you're going to get you something that's going to fill you for a few hours not a few minutes. The portions here are huge! An example would be lunch for one (me). A poutine with a pepsi or iced tea will run you around $12 without the tip. But that poutine is served on a large dinner plate and piled a good two inches or more high and to the edge of that plate. Service is excellent and friendly (ask them for their menu recommendations sometime, you won't regret it!) and it's easy to get a table! It was recommended to me by my co-workers and now I recommend it to anyone coming to Fort St John. They do breakfast, lunch and dinner and are open five days a week starting every tuesday

Waiting over a hour for breakfast is kind of ridiculous I think. Noticed a couple left while we were waiting guess they got tired of waiting. Food finally came and my bread crust was hard to cut with the steak knife they gave me, and the english muffin looked like it was rock hard.

Amazing Bennys! Our table had the crispy chicken, avocado, and smoked salmon bennys and everyone was very satisfied with them. Big portions and super delicious. Definitely worth a little bit of a wait.
