This place has some good Chinese food, but nothing that makes it rise above any of the other Chinese options in town. One nice thing though is that they are open later than most restaurants in town. It's a great place for your late night fix!

I'd really give it fewer stars but it's kind of the best for FSJ. I've never eaten their smorgasbord but their delivery is the best in town. Unfortunately it still could be leagues better. This may have to do with how far north we are and the price of trucking the supplies they need.

As far as Chinese restaurants go, this is a bit above average. I've tried quite a few things there and all in all it's good enough that I keep going back when I'm in town, even though it's not very close to where I stay.

The food I ordered was Fried Rice Chicken, and Chow Mein, and Ginger Beef. The Fried rice chicken was very old, the bits of chicken in it tasted very old. The Chow mein tasted old as well, to the point that I wouldn’t allow my kids to eat it, fearing they may get sick. Ended up just eating the Ginger beef and dumped the rest in the garbage. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Got delivery, didn't take long. Great flavour. Wanton soup, fresh mushrooms, schezuan beef was great, but the vegetables out weighed the beef 5-1, still great flavour. Haven't tried the chicken chow mein yet, but I'm sure it'll be good. Have a shellfish allergy and they were really good at helping me out.

We have been getting takeout here for years. We have had multiple bad experiences at other Chinese Restaurants in FSJ. The best part is that it tastes great and is consistent. They give large portions and have great service. Delivery is quick and food is hot.

Absolutely disgusting. After almost 2 years of not going there. As they lost my regular buisness over 20 bucks. (They got my order wrong and wouldn't give a refund) I decided to give them another chance. (And mama panda was closed lol) they've gone way downhill since. Chow mein was soggy af. Tasteless and very tight on the chicken. Sweet and sour pork had a funny taste to it. I would not recommend this place. Mama Panda is much better

I would not recommend eating at this place. I've spoken to people who have done maintenance work in the back kitchen, and sounds like they seen some pretty unsanitary things.

They only place I get Chines food from. I recommend ordering take out. All good is made to order unlike some of the competition. Portions are huge. Best bang for your buck.

Food used to be best in town, but under new management now and the food is terrible. Greasiest chinese food I've ever seen, the paper bag my order was in literally fell apart it was so soaked in grease. Sweet and sour pork was some deep-fried balls of something in a corner store cardboard container with a thin sauce in a separate container. All the food was quite bland as well, hardly any flavor. I will not be ordering from this place again.

I don't like to post bad reviews but this was the worst Chinese food I've ever had. It was supposed to be a special Mother's Day dinner but was tiny shrimp (they called them prawns) in great wads of dough, bland noodles with a few bits of carrot and some dry chicken laying on top for chow mein, strange (in an unpleasant way) ginger beef. The mediocre chop suey was the best thing. We called Ming's and they offered a casual apology and said the "prawns" are always that size. Won't be back.

We order take-out on Sundays when we don't feel like cooking. Living right across the street from Ming's Kitchen in Fort St John it's our go to place for Chinese food. We have our favorite dishes so we know when something is off and I'll tell you that does not happen very often at all, the food is always fresh and hot for us, the honey garlic boneless pork is my favorite, and we love the Cantonese chow mien. I wish that whoever takes the order over the phone would be a little more polite, and the place should be cleaned better but we have never felt ill or had unsanitary food from this place. A couple weeks ago we tried a dish that we've never had before the chicken they use in the Curried Chicken dish could be improved it seems plasticity, spongy, frozen and cheap tasting so we won't order that dish anymore. Last night we tried the Black Bean Chicken and it was much better than the curried chicken but they still used that strange textured chicken. Please just use a real chicken breast. Don't be so cheap to your customers and start using higher quality.

Let's start with what's right, the delivery was quick and the delivery guys was polite and cute, lol. Now for the real review... What they call Szechuan chicken isn't actually Szechuan, it's just boiled chicken pieces with some chilli sauce. Chicken chow mien is tasteless noodles with a sprinkle of chicken on top. Mushroom fried rice is salty rice with some mushroom packed on top. Overall, it's truly horrible food and wayyy overpriced, my order costed me $38.95 for 3 dishes which wasn't worth it. What a disappointment
