Great buffet, friendly people. Need gulab jamun tho. Dessert needs to be more authentic, again, like gulab jamun ???? You know what, no need other food, please just have the restaurant for gulab jamun only ???? The only Indian restaurant in FSJ that worth it, price wise, portion wise - well buffet, as you can help yourself. More variety of Indian food would be nicer! Not always easy to find parking on the street tho. The seating inside is generic.

Used to go here a lot for lunch. Butter chicken is spot on, the rest of curries is so so. Stopped coming here regularly since my friend working at Walmart told me the owner always comes in and asks for discounted last day expried date and buys in bunk. It's okay for a few days eating but for that amount he buys, I don't like eat outdated meat I guess. Still taste good though .

I've been for the buffet twice and have enjoyed it each time. While the buffet isn't huge (like some in Surrey) the selection of meats, veggies, and appetizers (such as pakora) is decent and varies each day. Everything is freshly prepared and the buffet is restocked frequently. The spice/heat level is medium to mild for the buffet (though if you order from the menu you can choose your heat level). The staff are friendly and seem to genuinely be concerned that you enjoy your experience. The atmosphere isn't as nice as Spicey Fusion but is more than comfortable enough for an easy dinner. Looking forward to trying their menu next time.

Great Indian Dinner Buffer in Fsj Area, Cant believe that I can try so many good options with Decent Price :), Lamb curry was out of the world and butter chicken was the best i had so far, Lots vegetarian options with fresh Tandoor baked butter and Garlic Naan..yum.... The server was very good and provided great service:) All great and freshly made food Thank you Indian Essence for such a great food :) :) Me and my friend will be back

So good. First let me say, I'm rarely in the mood for indian food. I'm not too big in saucy foods. This place had something for me. Their prawn biryani was delicious. They're are also generous with the servings. They wont give you a gallon of sauce with 4 pieces of chicken. They will actually give you alot of meat I'm the sauce. The staff was so nice too. Definitely the best indian restaurant in town.

A friend had suggested that we try the Indian Essence Bistro for dinner. The aroma of great food greeted us as we entered through the door. This establishment was clean, and the staff was friendly. The food was excellent, and at a reasonable price. We will be returning - soon. This is a must try for anyone who likes, or wants to experience excellent Indian cuisine.

If I made food this bad I would be embarrassed and not think to open more restaurants. Unseasoned like the cook forgot about spices, rubbery like it was sitting on the counter for hours and far too expensive. I will never return.

mediocre food, flavor is what is missing in the food. i have had indian food man places but this dont come any were close. looks like they sue pre packaged sauces you find from the store, we even noticed those in the kitchen! Pathaks i guess the name was!
