It could've been better. Portions of young veal cutlets are very small. Not worth the meal or the price. The gravy is always warm, not hot, and always lumpy. Not very tasty. This restaurant really needs an overhaul of their menu. It needs more gluten-free and diabetic meals, stews/soups and appetizers. The restaurant would really attract a whole lot of customers with this new kind of menus.

Was meeting a friend I haven’t seen in quite a while due to the COVID-19 restrictions. Was a little freaked out before going because I haven’t been in public much since the onset. Was so pleasantly surprised to see all the staff wearing masks and every other table blocked off. Our province has done pretty well with curbing the outbreak because most people are taking the warnings seriously. So appreciate that Humpty’s is doing the same thing. Wouldn’t hesitate to go back!

The food here is super delicious! I tend to either get the meat lovers panscrambler or the banana split waffle. The staff is super friendly and they wear masks for Corona virus. I also like how they clean the tables before each customer enters and the waitress gave my friend and I straws. They always wipe down the menus before the customers come in to eat. I used to get an additional side of hashbrowns but I was too full to eat them lol

Such a hit and miss place to eat at Humpty's Family Restaurant in Fort St John. Staff are usually very friendly but when they are having an off day you can really tell from the lack of service. Good burgers and breakfast. Had a fly in my food one time as the air conditioner turned on it blew out bugs into our table so I got put off the entire meal which they comped. Ate there a couple more times after that experience and it was pretty good. Clean your kitchen better and make your chef clean his apron more often!

Friendly server (working on her own). Food was far below average....very disappointing. I used to love Humpty's about 12+ years ago but it's clear that quality has dramatically dropped over the years I have been away. Kids had spaghetti and meatballs. The pasta was overcooked...mushy. Packaged pasta sauce that tasted like seasoned tomato paste. The meatballs were rubbery and previously frozen. I was surprised when my kids spit the meatballs out until I tasted them. One child had the kids fish and caesar salad. She loved it. I had the Eggs Benedict. The hash browns were tasty. The hollandaise sauce on the bene was FOUL. I was nervous to even try it when it came out as it had a slight pale grey/green colour to it (it should obviously be a nice healthy yellow due to the egg yolk). It tasted like a thick bland salty oil. I was told it was made with a powdered mixture. Just disgusting. I commented on my issues with our meals. Was given an "oh well" response stating that's how the meals are made. Prices are more than what they should be for below average food. We were charged full price for all meals when the bill came. No comment at all about our issues. I felt the issues with our food should have been addressed. I asked for a reduction in the total bill seeing as several items were not even consumed because of their poor quality. After what felt like more than 10 minutes the server came back with an amended bill with one of the kids meals removed off of it. Go elsewhere unless you're happy with less than mediocre. As I write this, my stomach is turning after the food I consumed....I feel ill.

It is a classic American breakfast and food but well cooked and the price is good. The staff was friendly and the service was fast and always caring for how was everything. Maria and the staff have done an excellent job in a short period of time turning Humpty's Prince Albert into a winner. The chef is on their game sending out some very tasty food with a minimal wait. I had the byob. Was good value. Co worker had the western scramble and added tomatoes and peppers. That meal was huge! I could hardly believe he could eat it all. He said it was very good! Server was very friendly and attentive.

Food: Scotch eggs had a very funny taste, food was unappitizing, fiances waffles basically had strawberry jam and nutriwhip on it. Service: Waitress got our drink orders incorrect twice, only came to the table when the food was ready, i sat for 20 minutes before i got one refill on my drink before we left. Overall service: Although this resturant has "all day" breakfast and is the ONLY resturaunt that does in Fort St John, for the 50$ we paid for 2 coffes, 2 drinks, a waffle and scotch egg, i could not only pay less for a meal from another breakfast place closed at 3pm, but would rather the quality, taste, presentation, and service provided for a FAIR price everywhere else

The service is very good but the kitchen has not been able to maintain good quality medium rare was over cooked. Over easy eggs came to the table twice hard as a puck. It used to be good food so we will try again maybe a new cook

It's funny how many staff members are allowed to post reviews, they make up 8/10 of the latest best reviews. Drive by the place at lunch, like I do and you never see more than seven/nine vehicles at a rush. The c19 guidelines allow 25 +, I guess during the 'demic people are carpooling.

Service was ok, kind of slow for being the only 3 people in the restaurant. They burnt my burger so I had to wait until my table was completely done eating before I could eat my food. Didn't do anything to correct it. Most places would comp the meal or discount it so I would be willing to come back. My burger after they recooked it was actually pretty good. It was juicy and had good flavor.

Service was a little slow and scattered. They had run out of the side that was supposed to come with my meal but didn't say anything until my meal was brought to the table very over done. Took my side order but it never showed up. She was very polite about it though and did give me a $3 discount.
