Went there for breakfast with my son. Kids breakfast was very expensive ($10 with a juice), toast was cold and we'll really wasn't toasted half of the slice did not have butter, steak was cooked to order bit it definately was not a Strip as the menu stated (maybe a piece of round or sirloin), eggs were cold but we're perfectly cooked over easy, coffee was good home fries good, service was okay. We won't be going back.

After a horrible experience 2 years ago. Decided to give it one shot again today was told they weren't busy but yet waited half an hour before they took our order then another 20 minute for food to come never once checked on us or gave us drinks food was cold then took forever to get our bill also what was bizarre was our cold toes had white on the top and brown bread on the bottom

I’ve been a customer for years and have been through the changes of location twice. I really like where they are located now, really good amount of parking and the building itself is much nicer than the previous ones. I have never been to Newfoundland but my husband is from there. We love coming for what it is offered here, comfort Newfie food. According to him this is exactly as it is in Newfoundland. I love it here, the staff are great and the food is as I mentioned, comforting. The only reason I don’t give this place a fifth star is because of the changes that have happened since the new management took over. Simple things such as the width of the homemade toast and the amount of filling in the pies have been reduced and corners have been cut to save cost.

Why are people hating on Miss B's? It is family friendly with excellent food. I have had one bad customer service experience, but that is it. Mainly because the need to train new waitresses often which is common in this city. Usually they are efficient and there sweets are yummy and homemade bread is a fav.

They havent been the same since the Garden Cafe location. The Gregoire location is a dirty hodgepodge of kitchen equipment and the server is really unprofessional, almost seemed begrudging to get you even a coffee. The food is way overpriced for what it is. The dressing you get nowadays is just breadcrumbs and savory. A waste of time if your looking for Newfoundland cuisine. The only saving grace of this place is the homemade toast and snowballs.

My girlfriends and I have been going for brunch for the last couple years. Just recently we got together to try out the new location. We loved the new space and thought it was very nice and as always our server was amazing! However we were very upset to see they had changed their "Traditional" hometoast, I took a bite thinking maybe they are preparig it in thinner slicers but it did not taste the same. I asked our server for "hometoast" she replied this is the hometoast. Anyways long story short I use the word traditional because you don't get the thick slices and amazing home made taste you had previously served any where else. Modern or not traditions are traditional for a reason!

Don't spend your hard earned money on the name places, go to Ms. B's and enjoy good home cooked meals. Fresh baked bread and bakery items are the icing on the cake. They have have great food from out east....I especially enjoyed the split pea and ham soup. This place has been a staple in Fort McMurray for a long time, I heard of it by word of mouth. When I'm not at Fuji Sushi, you can find me at My. B's. Be sure to try the pie!!

Its so hit or miss that i can't recommend going there. One day you'll get something good the next it'll be god awful. Something good like a club sandwich * which lets face it, anyone can make just as good if not better at home.* or Like the corned beef hash that was bland and cold. The breakfast is usually good though. Which is why i put 3 stars.

I was there for breakfast on weekend. Not my style. Food was fatty and I didn't like It, but maybe it's what I chose. I give 3 stars because it is almost fine and has pros and cons. The location is the best in town and easy access from everywhere. But the inside table arrangement wasn't well organized, and servers were not so nice and uniform.

The only reason I gave two starts was because in spite of the rest of my review the food was good. I was in on a Sunday morning with one other person and we both ordered omelettes and as I said above they were great. It was about 20 hours later that I regretted eating at MS B's, both myself and the other person I was there with have food poisoning. Speaking for myself, I ate nothing else that day so I can say with certainty it was the food I ate at Ms B's. I know that this sort of thing happens from time to time but I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone. I have looked them up and they do have a number of infractions with the health board... wish I saw that ahead of time!

Way over priced coffee. $3.25 a cup for bland coffee. Give you all kinds of options for your side but don't tell you that if you take the *not* deep fried hash browns but want "home made grilled (likely cooked 4 hours ago and sat under the heat lamp) you are charged extra. Want any of the options other than white bread? That's a extra charge. Kids meals don't come with drinks. The tiny cup of milk? That's $2.00. you think you're getting a descent priced breakfast but wait til the bill comes. Two kids and two adults? $60 for breakfast and we didn't order anything special. NEVER going back.

My good friend Rob enjoys the B very much. Me and Rob once cooked a meal together at his hau5. It turned out very nice. It was steak with vegetables amongst other things. We both enjoyed the experience so much, that I can guarantee that when he tells me about the B, without having been personally, I can vouch that it does indeed exist, and is probably 100% the best place ever, probably but 100% quite nice. The only real value was their Pizza Roll but they only gave one of them???? I probably wouldn't return. Also had an order of Fries & Gravy. Sadly the fries were typical deep fried, greasy & tasteless just like the gravy... Weak taste and poor value.

One of my go too places for breakfast with the wife. The toutons are great! The wife says the club houses are good, and the fries are tremendous ????. Steak and eggs are not bad here, however I always need to ask for the hashbrowns well done, if I dont they can come out not fully cooked, (highly recommend). Coffie is "so so". Service is great, friendly staff, place is fairly clean. Priced fair.

Loved Ms. B's until they moved to the other end of Franklin Ave. They clearly raised their prices with the move, which is okay.. if the quality of your experience or food doesn't change. Noticeably smaller portions and presentation like the restaurant is a canteen. I am always pleased with businesses that provide a "local" experience. The staff has grown since the move and, sadly, customer service doesn't seem to be a priority anymore.

Food was good to me, came out hot and it had some flavor to it which is hard to find in most restaurants these days. I found it strange though, usually a waitress hardly allows you a bite or two of your food when you get it before asking how it is. My waitress never came back to check on me. Never asked about refills, and usually they ask if we'd like dessert. Mine didn't even try to upsell dessert. When I went to pay for my meal I went to the cash register and the guy waiting to buy baked goods told her to go ahead and help me first. She handed me the bill, I handed her the money. She looked at me strangely and then turned around and helped the guy behind me instead of putting the money in the till she kept it in her hand as she helped him. I found that awfully strange as most waitresses or people at the tills will usually put the money in the cash box you for helping the next person. No thank you very much or have a nice night as well.

Worst service in town. Noticed that they only serve their "friends." Very dirty restaurant...can only imagine how nasty the kitchen is. We also experienced this issue with the "voids." Apparently, even when the servers make a mistake: they insist that YOU have to pay for it because they "can't void it". This is absolutely bizarre, and we just walked out. I mean really: what other restaurant brings you the wrong food and then insists that YOU pay for it? I have heard of other people getting food poisoning from Mrs. B's too. Our absolute favourite restaurant is Smitty's. Great bunch of gals working there & the food is always great. Also, it is sooo clean!

I have been here for breakfast and was great food but came for supper and the place was absolutely disgusting. Food and garbage on the floors my wife's menu had jam wrapper and jam all over the pages. I ordered fish and chips witch was overcooked on the outside and under on the outside the gravy for my fries was cold and lumpy. My wife had the clubhouse ordered with no mayo because she is pregnant and it came with mayo, Sent it back and was remade failing apart on the plate. The waitress never came back to the table. When I came here for breakfast I thought wow clean friendly staff and great food. Now unfortunately We will not be back.

The only reason they are getting 2 stars is because the lady serving us was very kind and they drop a coffee pot at the table so we can serve ourselves our coffee. Other then that the meals were terrible. I ordered the steak and eggs and it was an atrocious piece of meat cooked in the fashion that would give Gordon Ramsey a brain aneurysm. The hollandaise sauce comes from a factory in liquid form and had the consistency of warm jello and tasted...bad. The hasbrowns weren't the worst and the eggs simply were over cooked, although not as bad as the steak. Steer clear of this "homecooking" style, sub-denys quality food.

well just had the worst breakfast I have ever had at Mrs B's in all the years I've been going there. First the bacon oinked at me when I put the fork in it. Called the waitress over she took it back to the kitchen and they dropped it into the chip fryer and it came back as a burnt offering. I ordered beans as well as homemade toast never even got those item. if I could give a zero for this visit that would be generous. The third time she brought the bacon out at least it was halfway edible, but after taking my plate back to the kitchen twice the eggs and hash browns were cold and gross.

My husband and I were very disappointed during our visit to Fort Mcmurray. We came for breakfast and found that there were 10 servers standing around doing nothing. We were seated in a far corner away from everyone else. When we asked for the wi-fi we were told it would be impossible to receive the access code. The service was terrible considering how many people were standing around. When we went to order our food I wanted to substitute the home fries for a fruit bowl and told that was not allowed which is ridiculous considering every other restaurant will easily substitute fries for fruit or yogurt or tomato slices even. When we received the bill not only was the food very expensive but we had been charged for homemade toast. The server informed us that there was an upcharge for the toast and it was listed in the menu. After a lengthy discussion she agreed to go get a menu and much to her surprise the toast was not listed as an upcharge. She took it off the bill but informed us that the next time we came it would be an upcharge. The jokes on her because we are never going back!

I always enjoyed the meals at Ms.B’s but today I was very disappointed in the service from our waitress. It’s the first restaurant in Fort Mac that would not support or try accommodate my diet. Just a simple salad was all I was requesting just wanted to take out a few ingredients and had extra of the others. The waitress just said we don’t do that. So for vegetarians or anybody that’s doing some health adjustments not a good idea to take this place up for a meal. I stayed because I didn’t want to be rude and walk out the door I sat and had a cup of tea. I hope they will consider trying to accommodate their customers in the future.

You hear around town about food being good here. Well I have yet to taste that! The service here has got to be the worst you can find here in Fort McMurray, unless of course you're in their what seems to be the local crowd. You walk in here and there's a sign that says please wait to be seated. They kind of look around a bit and just point you in a direction and sit you at a dirty table. Then a waitress shows up in a couple minutes to clean the table, I said Thank you and received no comment back multiple times. Today, October 27th, 2013, I decided I wanted to try out a Poutine that I haven't had. I had 3 choices, Yummy Burger, Ms B's or New York Fries. I chose Yummy Burger first only to find that they were closed at 2pm on a Sunday, understandable as it's a Mom & Pop shop. So then I decided to try out Ms. B's Poutine. I seen someone order this once before(I won't get into that distasteful day right now) and it looked great! Well I get to Ms B's with my Fiance and we are pointed at a table to sit down at, I notice a few people coming in having very friendly conversations with the waitresses. Well 3 groups of people after we are seated are helped before we are even asked what we want to drink. A waitress walks by and asks if we ordered 2 beers and an orange juice. I politely let her know we haven't been helped yet. Once she helps us we both order a glass of water Poutine and decide to share an order of their Onion Rings as well. Water arrives roughly 10 minutes after we're seated. 25 Minutes after we've been seated, order has been placed. We're told they don't have any cheese for the Poutine and the order cannot be VOID. We were asked if we would like to replace the curds with Cheese SAUCE ?!? Or just take the gravy and fries by itself. Okay... I said to myself. So I told the waitress that the only reason we came was for the Poutine as we've never tried it here. She said so you'll just take the onion rings and pay for the 2 Poutine you've ordered as well since it cannot be void. I told her I don't want any of it. She dashes off to one of her co-workers and explains to her that they have no cheese and we don't want the Poutine or onion rings because of it. Her co-worker said well go tell I assume the manager in the "office" and advised her that it's now their fault and we should have to pay for the order. Well we we're walking out the door as she was mentioning this. We will never ever go back here. This is the second time I've had bad service here.

The loaded omelette with hash browns and rye toast was exceptionally filling. Quality, service and price a very good. Definitely a good breakfast restaurant. Will be dining there again.

Really good breakfast, Ms. B's has some good short order cooks that will get you your breakfast now! Long time since I've been to a place where they'll leave you your canter of tea or coffee instead of bugging you every 30 seconds. Restaurants in good shape too.

Way over priced especially the breakfast that cost me $26 dollars! Worst eggs Benedict I've ever had! Could have made this at home for $6 dollars. Stale English muffins, dry ham, etc.

Service was absolutely terrible, ordered our food and drinks as we were seated and never got our drinks until our food came out, and as we were thirsty we drank them quickly and never got a single refill as they were empty within minutes, while the waitress walked right past us checking on all other tables. I feel like we were ignored and a last priority. Only reason I gave 2 stars is because the food was good. Every time I’ve been here the service has been pretty bad and usually wait a while for food. Not impressed

I have had decent service there and the food is good. But then I've had REALLY BAD non existent service. 70% of the time the waitress drops the food and runs off, brings the bill before asking if you want anything else, and quite often forgets what your full order is. To top it off, I ordered a pie from the bakery 4 days ago SPECIFICALLY for an event I had planned, lady okay'd it and said she would put a note on the pie that was requested. NOPE, NO PIE, SOMEONE SOLD IT FROM THE NIGHT BEFORE!!! How dissapointing.
