Had the Thai prawn bowl and I hated it! It tasted fishy and was so unappetizing that I had to immediately pack it up and leave. I threw it out upon arriving at home. I am very non confrontational so that is why I did not tell my server. However, I would not recommend eating here when there are plenty of other nice places in Langley !!!!

Earl's kitchen and Bar is the perfect spot to rest a but from exploring the Canadian Rockies. Very delicious food, the wings are especially recommended, the service was exceptional and of its finest quality. Overall I was very pleased with my experience there and definitely would recommend that to every visitor to the town of Jasper.

Social distancing was at a high level. All staff wearing masks and telling everyone about the mask mandate and what they need to do to comply. Food was excellent as always. There was a 2 hour wait for walk up so highly recommend booking a table way ahead of when you want to go. Staff is always top notch...they have excellent service and attention to details

Atmosphere was great. All the servers were in masks and the safety protocals set up for covid seemed top notch and in order. Kudos! Our meals, my caesar, the dessert, and service were spot on! My hubbys shrimp in the surf and turf dinner was a little bland, and barely warm, but he ate it complaint free! We'll be back next time we're in Penticton!!!

It was okay. Usually it's my go to place for their hunan kung pao. The food was watery, and kind of flavourless. Atmosphere and drinks were good, and our waiter was lovely. Go for drinks, becuase they have a great patio.

I have worked at earls before and i want to say Vernon team is top notch. I was the first person in their establishment on Sunday May 5th. I was warmly greeted by one of their waitresses. The bartender made a perfect old fashioned for me. The waitress came over and reccomend a couple of dishes for me even though she did not need to. The cook who made my penne alfredo cooked it exactly how it should be (not over saucy and the chicken was juicy and tender). The teamwork was so welcoming and they were all friendly. My hat goes off to your team and I plan on visiting again before I head back to Edmonton. Anja did a great job with her team selection and I hope nothing but great success for her team. Great job and thanks for a great start to my day.

Servers were friendly, which is the reason you got 2 / 5 stars. Some ridiculous pricing here. Example, tiny cup of tomato soup with a couple croutons? $10.00 plus tax and tip. Love how the cheapest option to tip on your debit machine is 16%. Cooking at home is looking more and more attractive.

We went in just a few minutes before last call - which comes pretty early now because of Covid - and our server Emily, couldn't have been more pleasant and professional. We could tell she was busy, but we could hear her maintain the same pleasant demeanour at the table beside us as well. After paying our bill, we had a nice chat with her. She was patient, answering all our questions, even though she was still busy. Well done, Emily!

Waited 10min to order drinks. Took 25min for the drinks to show up and didn't even ask about ordering. Finally get to order and all the food was confused and wrong (big sizes instead of kids etc, to the wrong people, missing items) and took a little while for that to show up. All the waitresses seemed like they had no knowledge of how to work in a restaurant - honestly didn't know anything, and would ask stupid questions after they messed orders up, such as asking someone if they wanted their correct soup AFTER someone else at the table had already been eating it unaware it wasn't theirs...like ???? No...?? Multiple bad visits at this location through multiple years. Would not recommend. Needs a new manager or at least better staff to start. Get this place in check.

I ordered a Valentines day dinner kit that Earls had emailed me about. They called to change the time I picked up at the last minute, so I got my daughter out of the carseat and back inside, no big deal, then they were missing part of the order when I got there and apologized, (the chocolates, no big deal) but when I got home I realized they had missed half of the dinner too, which was really inconvenient. I emailed back the Manager, Michael, that had been emailing me to coordinate pickup to tell him I was upset to have half of a dinner for my wife and I that I had paid for and coordinated to pickup while dealing with a newborn at home. I thought this would be a stress free way to do something nice on Valentines day while we relax ate at home. I got no response and not exactly the stress free dinner I had hoped for. I would have loved a response. A refund maybe, or even just some acknowledgement and ownership of the mistake.

Service was not to bad! But i ordered a 6oz steak and potatoes with mixed veggies, one for my 14yr old son and one for myself. The wife had fish and daughter had pasta. What we received was more like 3oz steak was literally 5 bites and a small scoop of mashed potatoes with green beans not mixed veggies! Ended up walking out of there hungry after eating half of my wife's fish and i don't even like fish! For $23ea could have got a lot more elsewhere would have complained but was there on holidays and didn't need the drama!

Total scammers... ordered for pick up got there order was messed up (didnt notice till i was home) and also price was $19 and change on the phone and when i first got there then the manager comes out and says it changed and my bills now 37.50 for 1 order of cajun chicken with some bs excuse that was him just beating around the bush with no real answer on why the change... never coming back i like earls in my home town but this 1 i dont reccomend to anyone

Seem to be hitting an Earls in every town right now. Food was great and accurate. Somehow I didn't know about the bread which is an absolute must have now! Declan was a extremely nice snd attentive server with a great sense of humour. Very glad I made a reservation especially during COVID times as it made the whole arrival experience so much better then if we would have just walked in. In the last two weeks I've been to Earls in Victoria, Vancouver, Banff, Jasper, Penticton and I'm sure I'll be in Kelowna too. The consistency in presentation and quality is incredible. I'm totally an ambassador!

Earl's prides itself on being on the higher end of things. The food prices and quality normally reflect that, so although you are paying a little bit more you are normally getting better quality food. Which would be extremely nice if they were able to execute this every visit, I have been there on a few slow days and a few busy days, and it's just luck whether or not the food is going to come out edible. That being said I do enjoy the environment and the friendly service so I will keep going back!

Earl's was good, it's a fairly popular restaurant chain in Canada but the food is good and there is a nice albeit smaller outdoor patio here. Would definitely eat here ut if you are looking for more authentic local food this isn't the place ut again the food is always good and consistent.

It's really the only place to go and the problem is they know it. I ordered the quinoa and avocado salad. When I received it I noticed that there was no avocado I mentioned it to the waitress, who took away the dish and brought it back and said we are out of avocado. I was a little shocked that when the kitchen staff realized this they did not give me the option to chose something else or have it anyway. What was more shocking was when she said since we maid we are going to have to charge you full price. I somehow feel like I should have been able to chose something else or at least receive a small credit for the no avocado. As I said it is really the only place to go in the airport and they know it. Not likely to change much

My husband and I were extremely disappointed in our recent experience here. My husband and I go to earls very often because we love their vegan menu. We ordered vegan tacos and vegan cauliflower. The tacos had cheese in them... we told our waitress “there’s cheese on the corn shells we can tell” and she replied “no there isn’t” ... this was unprofessional. And unfortunately we had tummy aches next day which had to have come from the cheese in tacos because we didn’t eat anything else that had dairy in it! Over all, we go to earls in west van and Burnaby and surrey all the time and we are always very happy with service but this location was very poorly run!

Very nice new Decor in very nicely appointed restaurant. Felt like I was dying in a four or five star hotel for the fixtures furniture and everything else was extremely first class. I ordered the street tacos it was disappointed that they were only 4 inch diameter shell and the bacani sauce was just a taco sauce and actually had no Picante at all. I also had the ribs appetizer and other than bone and overly cooked breading there is very little to actually eat. Street tacos or maybe rims are definitely a no. Wife had a caesar salad, too heavy on the dressing, recommend ordering on the side the bread was good and a huge portion. This was not our cup of tea but it sure was a pretty restaurant

Absolutely fantastic time at Earl's, served by the very best. Came here to celebrate a surprise birthday party. Spent an enjoyable 4 hours here, and everything we needed was looked after very capably by servers and other staff involved. Food was excellent, drinks kept coming, tolerance for our loud table from other guests seated nearby (who also joined in the fun), and then the whole staff came out with the birthday cakes and helped sing background harmony on "Happy Birthday"! Thanks, Earl's - you're the best!

there was a bit of a wait for the patio. we waited about half an hour for out table for three. other then the long wait everything was amazing. our server gregory was extremely nice and was always happy to help us. he constantly checked up on us with a smile on his face. we went for happy hour and ordered the buffalo cauliflower, beyond burgers and the coconut prawns, and the sticky toffee chocolate pudding. it was delicious. 10/10 would recommend this restaurant .

Every time I go into Earls, Jordyn and Emily go above and beyond. The staff here is lovely, and you can tell they’re all passionate about what they do. They have excellent menu knowledge, and the ability to make you feel like you’re at home. Earls is my favourite place to be because of them!

What is there not to like about a good meal at earls?! This location seemed to have great food, friendly staff and a very fancy atmosphere. Now the parking in the front is very small but just across the street is a large parking lot. May be a very small inconvenience but there is a cross walk there so it would be no worse then parking at the mid/end of a lot at any other location.

Despite having a reservation, we had to wait nearly 30 minutes for a table. While we were being walked to our "reserved" table, we looked around and noticed about 5 empty, cleaned and set tables. Also, don't add tofu instead of chicken, because you'll sadly be greeted by plain un-marinated cubes of goo.

I love Earls and I love their happy hr this is my to go place to stop when I don’t know what I want and I want a nice drink!! We stole in our visit to Jasper here and I will say that from all the Earls I been this one has the best chicken tacos and they actually use corn tortillas!!!!! The other places use flour. The food at this location is just a lot better and I don’t know why!!!! We tried 2 of their new drinks and they where amazing!!! This will be my fav stop in Jasper from now on!!!!

I gave two stars because our server did the best she could to try and make up for the delayed food and service. It took almost an hour to get our apps. Out of all the meals I had this week in Jasper, this one was by far was the worst. Terrible quality and no flavor at all. I took the recommendation and ordered the butter chicken, it tasted like it was a canned tomato soup with a touch of Indian spices and the rice was hardly edible. To top it off, we had a stomach ache for the ENTIRE night following this meal which was not fun at all. It was my first experience with Earls and will probably be my last.

This is my go to place for date night. Great food and love the drinks. But my bill has been wrong a few times. Food was wrong and or the wrong food came to our table and was told I'd get a free drink. When time to pay the bill my bill in the debit machine was a bit higher then what was given to me.

I live in Kamloops and have had hit and miss service in the past so was reluctant to try it again but thought I’d give the Vernon location a try as an old friend was coming in from Kelowna and I was in Vernon for a few things. Our waitress Courtny555 made the evening. Food and drinks were great too but the service was phenomenal. Courtny was fun, friendly, sassy, attentive and was great at recommending items. Even made sure I got my ‘Manlinis’ right each time. Still hesitant on going back to the Kamloops location but will definitely come and visit Vernon again if the service we received last night is the same service we receive each time. Thanks again

My friend and I came in at about 12pm, the busy time of any restaurant. We got seated outside. It took a while to get our drink order in as well as our food. We got our drinks and then waited for our food as usual, a lot of the new guests that got seated after us started receiving their food before us, and some had the same dishes that we had ordered. I did have other plans for my morning, and started regretting coming to earls. They were short staffed and completely disorganized, which I understand during lunch rush, yet if I had had no experience in the restaurant business I would have walked out and never came back. Once I received my food my eggs were cold, and my hash burnt. It was just one disappointment after another.

Do not go here. My friend and I had to wait for 10 minutes in the front for a seat while there was so many empty seats. When we got seated, we were just left alone with no water and nothing. We wanted to order but no waiter came. They have too little waiters/waitresses. Horrible service. I was extremely disappointed and just left the restaurant.

Me and my brother are regulars at earls. No doubt the ambience is great, food is delicious and the service is always amazing. We always enjoy coming at earls and have a good time. I only have one complaint about one of the night manager i guess her name is Charmain, i have noticed from last 2-3 times that she is really rude to us. I dont know if she is like that only or she does that on purpose. I would really suggest that she gets better or you guys might loose many customers. Otherwise earls is great.. Thanks

The food is usually consistent across Earls locations but sadly I can’t say the same for the service. We came in this evening ~6PM and waited politely in the lobby for our turn to speak with the hostess to get a table. We had a woman rudely cut in line and yell at us that they had a reservation and therefor should be taken care of before us. The hostess made no effort to tell her to get in line like everyone else, and when my husband brought this up, all the hostess did was shrug and say she agreed that the woman was indeed extremely rude to us. After being seated, our waitress got to us and took our orders promptly. Appetizers (chicken tenders for my young son, and calamari) arrived in reasonable time but our mains didn’t arrive until 50 minutes after our appetizers. During this time there were no inquiries from our server about additional hot water for my tea or additional drinks for my husband. No apologies for our mains coming so late either. A different server later brought our soup after the mains (???) and apologized saying that the soup the kitchen originally wanted her to serve us was cold. Nobody checked on us at all during our meal, and our server didn’t seem shocked that by the 2 hour mark, I was sitting alone at our table with our meals unfinished because my son had literally fallen asleep from the length of this meal and my husband had to bring him back to the car. We had actually intended to order my son a chocolate lava cake as it was his birthday but needless to say that didn’t happen. I had to flag her down for boxes and the bill. 2 appetizers, 2 meals, a soup and two drinks came to just under $140+16% gratuity. The service was nowhere close to worthy of 16% but I gave it because I don’t want to be perceived as cheap. However it’ll be pretty hard to convince me to ever return to this location. We ended up purchasing a small cake nearby from H Mart and had it at home instead. What a disappointing night out.

With two small children and Covid, I haven't been out to dine with my wife for over two years. I was a little taken aback when our server couldn't get through a sentence without sniffling mucus back up into her nose. I mean even without Covid, servers usually don't come in if they're sick like that. I called the manager over and said I'm fine with it if she's had a negative Covid test. The manager just said she'd take our table. My wife ordered some earth bowl or something and the salad leaves had turned, and many of them were black, wilted, and a little slimy. I brought this to the managers attention, she asked if my wife wanted another, she did not, then she said she would give us a desert on the house. The desert, a berry cheesecake came out and immediately we noticed that there were a few berries that had turned, one was completely covered in mold. The manager was kind enough and paid for our meal, which wasn't necessary, my pasta was fine. I would suggest a little more training in the apps department. I know that these days they probably don't employ an Expeditor (someone who checks things over before they go out) but in the absence of one the apps guy or the server should have noticed these things. Atmosphere was great, manager was great, quality isn't like it used to be.

Even though Earl's is advertised and priced as a higher-end restaurant, I was extremely unimpressed with the experience. The place looks beautiful, but it seemed like our table was placed haphazardly as my seat was about an inch away from the chairs and customers next to us. Service was okay, a little slow because of how packed it was, but my brother's meal came 15 minutes after everyone else's, and we had to ask to get it. My dad's Surf N' Turf came with: bare grilled asparagus, a steak that tasted like liver and had an off texture, and a separate plate of white, unseasoned and unsauced, steamed shrimp. For $45 you'd expect a great steak and flavourful sides, but my dad left majority of his food uneaten and didn't take it home. After mentioning how sad the dish was, a manager took it off the receipt which was appreciated but didn't fix the experience. Overall, it's a lively place for appies and drinks, but you'll be bargaining with the quality of a real meal.

I got Steak and Frites, salmon zen bowls and clam chowder for take out on Valentines day. Clam chower and steak was good but the fries in the steak and frites was gross. Should have packed the fries separately instead of under the steak. mcdonalds fries taste way way better. Not what I expected for the expensive price tag. Salmon zen bowls tastes gross as well. Too salty even asked for easy on salt. Really thirsty after the meal.

Myself and a large group went into Earls on a very busy Saturday night. They were very crowded as there was a street festival going on outside and many people were going in to eat. They had limited seating but the hostess Natasha and manager Scott were very helpful in accommodating us. Our server Toni went above and beyond to help get us in, fed and out as quick as she could. Would highly recommend visiting this establishment. The staff are incredible and the food immaculate!

Take no chances, drive a block away to this place called cactus club. You’ll enjoy better customer service, better tasting food, and a better atmosphere. The service here is poor, the food is sub-par. The waitresses forget about you, the list goes on. Also Emily does a great job at pushing a great “feedback” score and making you feel uncomfortable. That’s definitely a first at any restaurant.

My family had the best experience eating at Earls yesterday. We had Emily as our server and she was amazing - tentative, kind, helpful, personable, warm, and so diligent. She was able to express her warmth and kindness even through a mask - and I'm sure that this can't be easy to do. Her timing was perfect allowing us to relax but never leaving us needing anything. I don't have room to list everything that we ate but the crab and shrimp gyoza, Nashville Chicken Sandwiches, the half breast and rib combo, and chocolate cheesecake were outstanding. My husband really enjoyed the Grapefruit Negroni. We hadn't been to Earls in sometime but we'll definitely be visiting more often. Also the new renovations have given the restaurant a really fresh and welcoming look.

I had a Cajun cheddar chicken sandwich which was Hella good, but I also go the vegan buffalo cauliflower at the recommendation of someone and.. they were highly disappointing. Vegan ranch was very good so compliments to that, but basically no breading whatsoever on them to add a crunch or compliment any flavor, no spices I don't even think salt was on there just some light greens on them and they were barely covered with Buffalo sauce, a drizzle I would call that, some didn't even have any and it was too light to even get any on any other bites anyway. I would recommend they look at a recipe made by someone else before adding that to the menu and especially for $16.

Had a reservation for 4:45pm.checked in at 4:40pm., told to join outside line. The line had about 10 other people cold light rain that night. At 5:00pm as line continued to grow, I checked in again. "How Long is it going to be before our table will be ready,"? "Answer it should not be too much longer sorry." My wife joined me, Said"we will have to cancel our reservation tonight and go somewhere else as my husband has underlying conditions cannot stand out in this weather," a manager arrived and setted us just inside. Great thank you! At 5:05pm.we were at our table for two happy! A wonderful drink was brought which was ordered while I was sitting inside waiting! Beautiful restaurant, drink delightful,cup of soup our favorite, the rest of the meal just ok. All Staff were great! Will eat else where.

We ordered the Earl's dinner for two tonight at the Earl's in Vernon. The meal consisted of two burgers, fries, wings and cheesecake. Food quality was very poor even for take out. we ordered the meals and consumed in our RV directly in front of earls, meals were eaten immediately upon receipt. Food was cold, soggy fries, stale buns. Waited on the phone for 10-15 minutes to order. Food ready in 30 minutes. We have done RV takeout at cactus club 3 times in past two weeks. Very slick on line ordering, text when food is ready (typically 15 minutes). Food was almost as good as restraunt dine in.

Wow, what a busy spot... And the real tourist season hasn't even started yet. That being said, our server was very friendly, the food was quite good and seemed reasonably priced. Being from out of province, I am always pleasantly surprised when the bill arrives and there is no provincial sales tax ;-) With this place being as busy as it is, you will want to be sure to make a reservation. On our last stay we were able to do this online only about an hour or so before we went there, and that got us a much better seat than the couple that arrived just in front of us without a reservation.

The Earl's Fort McMurray International Airport is the 3rd Earl's that I've been through this year. The 100 Avenue corner 178 St, Edmonton gave me and my mom so so bad service . I was a little surprised when the receptionist told me over the phone to use their website to make a reservation, and when I arrived the personnel were not bothered when asking me to wait a couple of minutes in the staircase as I was holding my son in a stroller... but the dinner was really nice. We were well installed and the personnel turned out to be very nice. Food was truly delicious and we loved watching the cooks at work in their open kitchen concept.

Our first time at Earls was pretty disappointing. Even though our server was nice, when we told her about our burnt steak she said it was because the steak was well done. I don’t think well done steak should taste bitter. It was definitely burnt. If it was other restaurant they would offer us a new one. So we said it was ok and ate it anyway because we were hungry. We just had to cut the burnt parts off. Other food was great.

Be ready to wait 1.5 hrs for a spot then once seated, over an hour just for some service. Food was just decent. Quality was not up to par with the price. Steaks were quite tough and not the quality I expected. My rare steak had a gray tinge to it rather than pink or red (in the middle). Asparagus was old and hard. The worst was slow service. Had to wait very long for takeout boxes and bill. Saw our waitress chatting inside while the other tables were being served (by a different waiter). Gave a lame excuse about busy serving other tables... Management needs to do better. Definitely won't be back.

Some of the locals aren’t expecting much with this rather high average. Depending on who’s serving you, who’s cooking your food, and who’s there to greet you and say good-bye at the door, this Earls is definitely hit & miss. Definitely not as good as others in the chain, e.g. Earls in Victoria. Too many TVs as well, TVs literally on top of TVs; didn’t realize they were a sports bar. Only problem is, they usually have the sound too low, or even off, so you have to create your own colour-commentating. And you have to crane your neck to watch while at the bar, of all places. On that note, definitely don’t sit at the bar: the barstaff only know how to mix and pour rudimentary cocktails & beer. You won’t get much small-talk, much chit-chat, from that crowd. In the words of the Irish – not much craic. Most boring bar I have ever been to; I can see why this Earls is so quiet in the wintertime. Some of the staff blame the inclement weather but Calgary or Regina have a busier vibe, even when it’s -20C out. If you are going to waste your hard-earned money at this establishment, make it worth your while and have Sarah or the guy with the bun in his hair (believe he has a Greek name) serve you; get a table in their sections, you shouldn’t be disappointed. The head-hostess is a sweet girl, if she’s still there. Washrooms are clean; the pizzas appear good. Try the Red Racer IPA draught… only reason to be at the bar. Don’t touch the Rhino Pale Ale… literally piss.

Bad service and good food. Took us 10 minutes before we had a server come see us and that was only because I eye balled the manager. The server was slow, talked very quiet and I could not hear here. She would also serve on table at a time and constantly walk by our table. I would have loved another beer with my meal but after serving our food she did not talk to us again until we we're finished. It took us nearly a half hour to eat in wing night as we ordered lots of wings and appetizers. Wings were excellent and the spinach dip is amazing. I recommend trying this place out as my score reflects the poor service.

Unprofessional server, he talked to us like we were dumb, didn’t know the menu and served our food over a ledge. Bought a alcoholic beverage with floaters in it, spent well over 150 for a friends birthday and the experience was very poor. 1/3 dishes came cold and a side Cesar salad was served warm wilted and costed 9.50. Disappointed but hopefully was a isolated incident. Went again March 7th, service was poor and slow. Messed up our order and took 20 minutes to flag someone down to get cutlery after the food was delivered. Won’t be back

Appalling service. After I ordered my food I was left waiting almost an hour to actually eat. The already extremely unwelcoming staff were so busy fixing their cleavage that they failed to pick up the food that was all over the floor behind them. When we eventually finished our meal after a long wait, our server picked up our empty dishes so aggressively that he hit my plate across my shoulder and it landed all over me and the floor, which I never even got so much as an apology for!!! The whole restaurant was absolutely filthy, if I had seen the washrooms before I ate my meal there is no way I would have even stayed, as the whole place was covered in wet toilet paper. When I was paying my bill, firstly I was absolutely shocked that I was charged almost 10 dollars for a small bottle of beer that I would be charged 6 for in most other bars, secondly I was so unhappy with the service that I left a slightly lower tip than I normally would (not that any tip was deserved) my server was so sour about this that he actually threw my receipt at me. Will not be returning and definitely will not be recommending!

Earl's has been my go to since I've moved to Jasper. Their happy hour menu is unbeatable and the quality of the food and service is outstanding. Ordered a brunch plate with 2 eggs, crisp potatoes and a sausage. Eggs were over done, potatoes over crisp, and sausage over cooked. Coffee was bland. Food took over 20 minutes to arrive. Had a party of 6 and was charged automatic gratuity of 18%. The waiter didn’t check on us once after got our food. What is the point of mandatory gratuity if we don’t even get the basic level of service. It used to be parties of 12, that minimum has dropped to 6. Waiter said it was based on volume, but 6 is volume?!? Laughable. With food quality so subpar, service so lacklustre, and a 60% empty restaurant, does not necessitate any gratuity at all! Corporate complacency at its worst. If I wasn’t late for another event I would’ve had a word with the manager. If the manager actually gets this. Message me, we’ll chat.

Went to Earl's for dinner my sister has came down from Calgary and we are from sicamous first off they seated someone that needed the same amount of seats ahead of us even tho we had been there much before them . We ordered apps and entrees and time passed only seeing everyone around us eat even those who got there after. We got two appies one out of two appies one being the wrong one they took it away then came back to tell us after an hour and a half of being here our order mysteriously vanished in the machine but they could have it done in 20 mins if we would tell us what we ordered . I'm not one for wanting compensation for screw ups or anything but their lack of remorse was astounding they could not have cared less they messed up and absolutely 100% did not care because we were just a table . I will not ever go back to Earl's in vernon . Ps the appy we did have was fishy and luke warm so maybe a blessing is disguise we did not get to eat anything .

I didnt even want to eat here while we passed through Vernon thinking it was just another franchise. However, the staff and service where amazing, they went above and beyond. I joked about how good the pan fry bread was and if I could order it in bulk and our server contacted a general manager to actually get me a price. I was truly amazed at the amazing service. The food was really great too. I prefer to try an eat at places I haven't been before but would make the exception for this Earl's any time I'm in Vernon.

The food was good but the service in the bar was mediocre. We arrived at around 8PM and found a table in the bar side of the restaurant. Some time after ordering our drinks the waitress dropped off our drink order and left before we were able to order food, once we called her over from the bar she took out order and we waited for a long time for the food to arrive. Once the food the food showed up it was good! But the wait time was not good.

We came to Earls with no reservations and got a table in about 15 mins. The waitress greeted us quickly and gave us our menus. We ordered the Warm spinach + Three cheese dip as our starter and it was delicious! My fiancé had the 8oz Sirloin with Prawns and I had their Penne Alfredo with chicken. Both meals were excellent in their own way, but one thing I would say is that the sauce for my Alfredo was chunky very quickly. And to wash everything down we had a bottle of their Famille Perrin Rascal red. Definitely a decent place for a night out. Remember though it'll cost you a lot!

Earls is a BC favorite for all the right reasons. Although I prefer the independent restaurant over the corporate type, I have to say that earls has stayed relevant for all its years. Sadly, they've closed the Abbotsford location 12+ years ago so I do enjoy the Penticton store every time I see my clients there. Food and service at Earls is way above par and I've never had a bad experience in all the years I've patronized any Earls location.

Our calamaries were terrible for start. The crispy coating didn't stick and came off in a mushy mess on the plate with a coating of oil. The whole dish was very heavy and soggy. It made me sick for the night. The mains were okay, they came out very quick after the starter, it felt they were rushing us through our dinner. I was expecting more for a $100+ bill (for a couple).

My gf ans I usually go once a week for happy hour. The last few times have been sub par. Menu prices have increased and the service has decreased. We were seated on the patio it was fairly busy with 6 to 8 tables. There was one server and she was very slow. Our drinks were empty and someone else brought out food. We were not checked on again for the duration of our visit. The server appeared to be giving all of her attention to one table who appeared to be fellow staff. The dynamite roll was my go to but it has gotten smaller and has gone up in price. I still love this Earl's and will try it again but this is becoming a regular occurence of poor service. I highly recommend the happy hour from 2 to 5.

I LOVE Earl's. This place had great staff. The waitress we had I think was a bit new but still great and had no problems with her at all. The prices for the amount of food you get is a little iffy. I was there with friends and I may be a big eater but they aren't and we all were still hungry after. One friend got the Cajun Salmon which was a small fillet of fish on top of a ladle of rice (I think it was rice I wasn't really looking if it was couscous or what) and that was it. This is a girl who struggles to finish off 2 normal sized hamburgers and she was still hungry after that. I got the Salmon and Sushi which was AMAZING but again very small portioned. 3rd friend got the pasta which actually wasn't that bad when it came to portion sizes, nothing generous but it was good. But to pay just over 100 bucks on a meal and still be hungry after...It was really good but either needed a bit more or lower prices to make it worth it.

It was cooked perfectly and tasted great. Just not the right amount of chicken. One of the people I was with got the same thing and his too was too little chicken. Server checked in at a reasonable frequency, and the sweet potato fries were good. However, food took forever, and kitchen clearly mistimed the order (wings were cold and came while the fries weren't quite ready). Server and hostess were also not very warm/communicative. Overall not worth the money.

Food and atmosphere was fantastic. We stopped coming here a year ago because we consistently get poor service, we decided to give it another chance for my mothers birthday. It was the worst service we have ever experienced in Grande Prairie which is saying a lot. Completely ruined our birthday afternoon. Rather than writing this place off as we love the food we would love to see further training for the waitressing staff. Kudos to the bus girls who stepped up to serve our table instead of our waitress who basically abandoned us from the first time she came to the table.

Went for lunch on Saturday, but reversed our decision when we noticed there no plexiglass dividers between tables. Obviously Earls either has its head in the sand, or doesn't care about the health/safety of guests during a highly contagious pandemic. The gracious staff are put in anunenviable position of confirming Earls' absence of barriers.

We went to this establishment for lunch following a bridal nail appointment and to celebrate a birthday. It was very lovely of our server, Hanna M (?), to promo a birthday dessert for my sister. The food was served hot, fresh, and very promptly despite arriving at peak lunch hour. I neglected to take a photo of our delicious food but this receipt gives an idea of items we enjoyed and the reasonable pricing of those items. Hanna (?) made some flavourful recommendations. Great place for a hot, savoury meal, IMHO.

Terrible experience. Food was not served all at the same time, when my wife's pasta came it was 30 minutes after the rest of us, and we were done eating (and then it was under cooked). Today's Earls is nothing like the original, and I am not sure the franchise owner would be happy with what it has become. Used to be a great place to eat and enjoy (as well as to be seen with friends, and by friends). Not recommended unless you like long waits and lousy service. Sad . . .

Great place for happy hour! Loved the old fashioned with the rootbeer bitters! Food was alright. We had the coconut shrimp (seemed like something that came frozen and just thrown in a deep fryer), burger (was dry and over cooked), and the tofu zen bowl (would reccomend).

Not a good experience. And I will have a beer with my main. Ok. Brings apples. Ok Stela that was on special with my main meal ok. Yes. I am still waiting. Prawns the size of shrimp and only 5 with my add on? Then Inwas told it is by weight. Tell me that when I order. Their excuses were lame too. Do not blame your staff like your line cook etc. You are a team. That is why you get 2 stars not 0 because the young lady bussing our table was fantastic. Also do not recite the specials to one of us while working through aoud dining room. Fail.on 4 out of 5 components of good dinner service

Food is good but service is poor. Upon arrival I was welcomed by a hostess who assumed I was coming in to pick up food... I told her I was having dinner in the restaurant.! The server who served my table was slow and more concerned with her tip! The bar tenders were arguing loud without minding the customers sitting around them.... Very unprofessional !!!!!

A terrible place to eat! 28$ burger including 15% tip for a unsatisfactory service and a distracted waiter. I wish I had a restaurent at the airport this way I can serve a pile of poop to my famishing clients and make them pay a premium price! How can you make such a bad burger? For 20 bucks burger don't expect your clients to season it themselves, meat taste like mud, served cold.Please Earls hire competent staff! Or defrost dinner table meal I’m sure it will taste much better! Waste of money and time eating there! Don't go there if you are a foodie

The bar tender/server Chad, was literally the WORST, texting on his phone, Belittling another guest (making immigration comments), and making fun of fans of the oilers fans in the bar while the game was on. Super unprofessional and left a very sour taste in my mouth... will never return here.

I have to make an a change on this, simply from the incredible followup by the manager. There will always be times when an employee doesn't toe the company line or ideals. When management takes accountability for it, that's the way to step it up. Great job Brandon.. Very disappointing. I take responsibility for not asking if the drink I ordered was on the list.. but I guess when I am looking at the HAPPY Hour Menu, and order a spiced rum and diet coke...maybe the waitress should have mentioned that it was not part of the menu. What could have been a nice evening turned into disappointment. I really don't care about the money I spent, but more upset about the principle behind it. If we were concerned about the money spent, we would not have tipped close to 40% ...Maybe educate the servers to engage the customers to determine a little more about the order..just a thought.

There is a server who works their named Emily. ASK for her if you get the chance. She is so kind, thoughtful, and hardworking. i have to say the server (i think her name was sammi 29 on the bill) was excellent and was able to handle the situation very well, our issue was the menu changes, that they were out of menu items, latte machine was down, ceasar salad looked and tasted a week old etc, etc... dont know how she was able to keep us happy but she did and deserves a promotion and raise!!! listen up owner/managers, she is a star... seriously the only reason this location got any stars... we were there nov 17th 2018 @ 1pm... if it wasnt for her, our over $100 meal would have been comped as we would have been speaking to the manager and i would have walked if it wasnt for her

Servers friendly, Food Hot. Prices are around $25 and up. Restaurant clean, bathrooms clean. However, my steak was not cooked correctly 3 separate times and informed the manager each time and the managers did nothing. Now I only order the chicken which can not be cooked incorrectly. My husband likes a few dishes, hence we still go here....just not as often as we used to. I am still not happy being disrespected and disappointed with the managers treatment. Only 3 stars...☹

Good atmosphere, especially for Penticton. Our server was enthusiastic and friendly, making the effort to check on us and provide a water refill with asking. The calamari starter was a little dry but good flavor and a few bonus cauliflower pieces. Main meal was good and the pricing was fair.

Asked 3 times to two different people about a high chair, gave up. Staff seemed new and a bit disorganized or unsure of themselves which was not so great. Menu has changed since the renovations and I didn't find a lot that appealed to me personally. The patio area looks amazing although the shutters up top were closed so I'm not sure how much of a breeze would pass through on say an open patio.

Excellent food and service. I had the fettuccine Alfredo with garlic bread and a glass of white wine. It was all delicious. Raj, our server was very attentive and provided good service. You can sit near the kitchen and see the chefs preparing the meals or by the window for the view.

There are very few restaurants in town that have a devoted plant based menu and we are so happy that Earl's has taken this progressive and thoughtful step. I had sprained my ankle skiing earlier in the day and still really wanted to eat here. They have a big staircase to get up to the restaurant and I wouldn't be able to get up with my crutches. They took me to the back where I could use their lift and were very polite and accommodating waiting for me to hobble around. Their service and patience was incredible. Thank you Earls!

Had a birthday with the mother and grandma in laws. 3 meals out of 4 were cold or lukewarm at best. One was the chicken teriyaki, steak, and cajun chicken. Waited a while for the first service. Then waited even longer for the second service. The waitress was friendly and courteous but the kitchen must've hired teens from grade 10 or so. Yet here I am with a law degree and employers still want 4302 years or experience.... I must say we were thankful that our meals were compensated. At least the customer service is really up there. This goes to show that it's either the lack of competition or the brains in towns like this. Or maybe both... who knows. Also the cajun chicken probably has a weeks works of sodium on it so be cautious.

I've spent thousands of Dollars here over the years dining with friends, and family, and for business. I went here with my family today, including my son and his girlfriend who were visiting from Edmonton. We are all double vaccinated, all masked and had the app with valid QR codes. My wife did not have her physical drivers license: but a CLEAR photo of it on her phone; INCLUDING A PICTURE OF HER!! We were denied entry to the restaurant. Same last name, all valid vaccine records, one person with photo of license instead of physical copy.... EARLS, you have GOT to be kidding me! I will NOT be back, you will not see another dime of my money. I will be telling anyone who will listen about my experience. I fully understand there are health restrictions imposed by the government in place right now, but come on...let's use some common sense!

For a fine dining joint this Earls location was a slight turnoff for me, not sure if I’d dine with friends here. A while back I came to dine with a small group of friends at around 5PM so somewhat crowded but not fully. Still, that does not explain the nearly 50 minutes of wait time for my meal, which was frankly disastrous compared to others’, who otherwise expressed positive reviews. I ordered the coconut breaded shrimp in a curry sauce with steak and a mango salad; a whopping $27 for a plate of disappointment. The shrimp, overbreaded and overly flavoured with coconut flakes, were small inside the coating and lacked any flavour. The curry sauce slightly made up for the inadequately prepared shrimp, but the steak was a major flaw. I was served slices of beef that ranged from glaringly undercooked to dry and over cooked, both bearing a chewy texture. The sesame seeds served as a peculiar topping for the beef, possibly serving better to be on top of the mango salad. There was nothing too drastic about the salad, just not too appealing. The meal could’ve been a lot better especially when charging nearly $30 for a sad disappointing plate. The slow service definitely did not help, that is if they even got orders right, as in a situation with a friend who had a wrong order.

We had a reservation for my birthday for 5 people. Upon being seated, we were told there would be crayons and drawing paper for my daughter. 15 minutes later, we asked again and were forgotten once again. My husband finally had to walk over and retrieve it himself. We all put in our orders. 3 of us ordered the cajun chicken. My husband's was completely forgotten so he had to wait another 10 minutes for his dinner. While we were waiting, the waitress came up to us and said "Is it good or what?". We were completely taken aback. My sister then informed her that it was my birthday and she said "We have cake but you will have to pay for it. The food was quite good but the service was horrible!!! If it hadn't been for the food and being from out of town we would have bailed. Go elsewhere if you have the choice. Much better service elsewhere.
