Very nice, clean, new, restaurant and hotel. Food was great.and accommodating for food allergies. Staff was more than willing to prepare food gluten free. I was impressed with the staffs attention to detail and knowledge of current events. I would definitely visit here again.

Visited with my husband and a friend - friend had wings and loved them, hubby had a "philly-steak" kind of sandwhich which he enjoyed. I ordered a queen-size Prime rib steak & Yorkshire pudding with garden salad as the side...the steak and the salad were brought on individual dishes - with the explanation that the cook wanted to keep the salad cold and the steak hot - unfortunately the steak was little better than room temperature - so guessing they had to wait for the Yorkshire pudding to cook....as it was hot, although not sure if it was actually hot or if it was just the gravy that it was filled with. The salad was done with a spring mix of lettuce which was very bitter, & the house dressing was the same brown color of the gravy & au jus served with the steak - but wasn't much better than a very strong vinagrette. I ended up not eating more than a bite or 2 of the salad, and less than 1/4 of the steak - when asked what was wrong, the waitress apologized - and gave me a 50% off discount as she wasn't able to arbitrarily take it off the bill. So, we may try again but I definitely won't refer people there - not unless I have a better experience.

It was a two day event...Octoberfest.. I went Saturday evening and there was literally no one there. They don't have a large, diverse selection of beer so I certainly wouldn't call them a taphouse! We ordered the pretzel with beer cheese...the pretzel came and it was doused with oil...literally swimming in it (apparently someone thought that's what you do with a pretzel before you heat it!). The beer mustard cheese had the consistency of thick grainy cream cheese....not melted gooey piping hot melted cheese like it was supposed to have. The 2 piece "band" they had might have been okay to listen to had they not believed that if they were over the top loud it would make them better...particularly when playing to an empty house. Overall, a very disappointing visit and would not go back again.. .for either a special event or an evening out! Too bad!

Ordered the Manhattan steak tonight with the baby potatoes. Meal was delicious! Juicy and flavourful steak and the vegetables were seasoned well and reasonably priced. Definitely recommend to anyone in town. Very surprised that there isn't much reviews on Google.

I had almost all but given on this place from past service. Glad I gave it one more shot. Forrest, the bartender was a fresh of breath air as far as service and personality goes!.Hope they give that guy a raise! Meals seem to have improved in recent months as well. Will be back

It was a hit and miss...out of three orders, two were well prepared, the third not so much. The forth star is for the waitress. The disappointing part was, at the prices asked for at the Copper you'd expect a bit more care when dishes are served. The wait staff was very attentive and even discounted a portion of the bill, good recovery. Over all it was a decent experience but I'm not sure I'll return.

I had the displeasure of eating there last night the wait staff was very unattentive to the whole seven patrons on the restaurant. The food took an hour from order to table and it was a store bought flatbed that was dried out. I was displeased with the experience I would not recommend.

Stopped in here a couple times now the past couple times I've been in town and i have taken a real liking to the place ! Clean ,relaxing place to wind down after a days work. The bartender Forrest was very outgoing, friendly , and great conversation! I will definately be going back any chance I have!

Amazing!! My family and I moved to Canada (Fort Frances area) last January - one of our first meals was at Copper River Inn, the Staff have made us feel absolutely at home! Food is amazing and the bar and bistro staff are 10/10! We have gone back numerous times and it only gets better!!
