Great food! Decent prices, average drinks, friendly service but can be slow but it’s often busy so just be patient and it’s so worth it! I used to love the Buffalo mac & cheese and deep-fried pickles...oh and cheese cake!

Went here for my girlfriend's birthday. Heard some good things about this place so her family and I went to check it out. Service is slow. Make sure you order a beer because you will be waiting a while. I ordered the forty creek burger. The waitress said its mandatory by law to serve it cooked all the way thru, which could be true. It was pretty dry. Not a lot of bbq sauce on it. My girlfriend's brother ordered 10 medium wings and when they came out he had 8 and 2 half wings with broken bones. The waitress took all of them back and came back with the same ones minus the 2 half wings and said they dropped a few more in the fryer for him. About 20 minutes later, the waitress brought over 2 normal wings for him. My girlfriend and her father had chicken tetrazini. They both said it wasnt flavorful and didnt enjoy it. Her sister in law had the gyro and she said it was good. The only part of my meal I enjoyed was the sweet potato fries. Most places I know serve it with a honey butter mixture but they had some mayonnaise mixture but did give me a side of honey. Not too good of an experience and I wouldn't go back. Slow service, the 2 half wings should have never been served, and the special chicken tetrazini was lacking flavor. A disappointing birthday meal for my girlfriend.

Yesterday, we drove in from St. Catharines because we were craving the Breaded Spicy Garlic Parmesan Wings. South Coast did not disappoint. Beer was cold, and the food & service were awesome!!!

The food is great, the service is good, bit the place is not for large groups (I'd say more than 4). The kids food was one out and one delayed, and nothing worse than hungry kid without food. Over all it's a nice pub grub type place, with nice selection of beers.

Always a treat to go to SCC ! The owners are great community minded people who give back . The soups are amazing ,made fresh and a variety of choices . The atmosphere in this restaurant is inviting and the staff are wonderful ,hard working folks ! The menus is varied and specials on every day ! Oh and don't forget the great selection of beers ! The rib eye steak is the best I have ever had !

Absolutely horrible meal! Chutney on my steak was inedible and nothing was done about it. Salad not included with overpriced meal. Happy to pay for fine dining, but this was the worst experience I have ever had (both food and customer service) at a "higher end establishment". Pass for my husband and I in the future.

I have been going to this restaurant since it has opened for over 12 years. This restaurant is one of the best places to go in the Niagara region. The food is very delicious, beer is always great tasting on tap and never stale and thecstaff is super friendly and outgoing. The Ceasars are excellent and are a must try if you like Ceasars!

Nice place for a beer or dining. I had the lobster mac and cheese Nice size portion but not enough lobster. My daughter had a burger with jalapeño peppers bacon and peanut butter with fries. She liked it. The waiter was awesome

Best food in Crystal Beach... And Crystal Beach has some great places to eat. South Coast Cookhouse is the best though. Amazing food, fantastic staff. Their stuffed peppers are a definite must try. Every visit to Crystal Beach includes a visit to the Cookhouse for me :)

Excellent (jumbo) chicken wings! Can get very busy here on a Friday night. Best to call ahead. Friendly staff and laidback atmosphere. Excellent selection of local and craft beer. Sandwiches are great! Cheese stretch game is strong!

Great little spot, and it's appears to always be busy, so best to get there early, or plan to wait until a spot opens up. My only criticism is regards to the wings. They need to be sauced a bit better, as the sauce seemed to sit on the plate instead of the wings. If the sauce adheres a bit better to the wings, then fantastic!!

The previous reviewer has the wrong restaurant, South Coast only puts onions on steak, I have been eating their amazing food for last 4 years and they have never offered a chutney! Try the real South Coast Cookhouse and you will leave full of great food and get amazing service! Thanks for all of your hard work during COVID, your chicken wings are the best!!

Visited this restaurant for dinner and the service was very slow, we waited at least 40 minutes for our meals, could have been longer though. The food wasn't good. My brother was served 2 half wings with broken bones which was unbelievable that they would even serve that. They did give him 2 more normal wings but that took another 20 minutes, and he wasn't offered anything else. The chicken tetrazzini was the special that night and it had no flavor, it taste like a frozen dinner you would buy from a grocery store. Not only was the food not good, but my brother was served a beer that had expired 3 months prior. I won't be returning to this restaurant, and do not recommend it.

Takeout order took a while past the estimated time. garlic bread & cheese was ok, burgers and fries were overdone, onion rings very oily, steak was good, fish was good, avoid the chowder, mac & cheese was plain pasta with shredded cheese on top and a bit of a sauce (not creamy at all). Really cute homey decor.

Out of towners who were staying in an AirBnB, we ordered takeout over two weeks ago and have not stopped thinking of the food since! Ordered the Mary's Hot Pepper Bread (keep kleenex near), Gnocchi, and Sweet Thai Buffalo Wing Sandwich. Wish I had a photo for you guys but it didn't last long. Food was good. No complaints on the food. They dont disclose some of the hidden add on charges. Got the wing deal and they asked if we wanted carrots and celery on the side and blue cheese we said ok to the veggies, no to the dip. Little did we know the carrots or celery are extra charges. We felt we should have been told up front they were add ons. Service was so so. And they forgot about our drink.

We found this place randomly as we were driving by Crystal Beach. Food taste AMAZING! the atmosphere felt great and the posters on the wall with old newspaper cutouts of the beach for great entertainment. Definitely would go here again if ever in the area again
