The food was super flavorful and definitely worth a visit! Highly recommend the mac & cheese and baked beans sides! Only issue was that the food was a little cold. I put in a phone order, arrived a few minutes before my pickup time, and ate in the parking lot, but the pork butt was a little cold. It's honestly understandable, they seemed pretty busy and it must be hard to time preparing all the pickup orders but it did slightly take away from the experience. Very kind staff though, and very much recommend trying this place out :)

One of Niagara s best bbq spots! My favourite of mattys is the hot cheeto Mac and cheese and I think the ribs or the chicken! The food is always insanely mouth watering. If you haven’t try his pineapple upside down cake. You won’t regret it. SO good!

Some of the BEST bbq food I've ever had...fall off the bone ribs, brisket, fried chicken, hot Cheeots Mac N Cheese, tator tots, colslaw, sandwiches and more. Was lucky enough to meet Matty Matheson himself while there...hes just as amazing in person as he is in his videos!! Full of energy, funny, sweet and usually helping serve people! Was definitely worth the 1.5 hour drive and will do it again in a heartbeat

All so good!!! Oh my, super yum ribs, brisket, chicken, coleslaw, beans, mac 'n cheese. Again, excellent grub from Matty's crew in Ft Erie. Fried chicken is delish and perfectly complimented with tater tots, mac 'n cheese and slaw. Coleslaw is awesome. If you like pickles, you'll love the coleslaw - made with diced pickles - yum! Matty's BBQ is yummy for the yummy ????

Fish sandwich was good, although a bit bland overall. The batter was nice and crispy, but I just felt that the coleslaw/dressing could have had a bit more oomph. Tater tots were bang on, as usual

We really needed Southern food in the area. The fried chicken is 100%. The Mac & cheese uses processed cheese. Tsk . Tsk. Baked beans could be a meal. Nashville chicken sandwich - holla! The crushed Cheetos add nothing and wouldn't be missed. Prices.....ouch. Seriously, wish I could just get less food and have a meal for $10.

My friends went for a hike along a Hamilton Trail and decided to take a drive up to Fort Erie for some BBBQ and Fried Chicken. Although the drive was a bit far (1hr and 20 mins) this place did not dissapoint at all! In my honest opinion I would try everything on the menu. The Brisket was done beautifully and the Fried Chicken wasnt just any ordinary Fried Chicken it was special in it's own way. The tater tots were perfectly fried with a crispy shell and tender potatoe goodness on the inside. I would double le my order of Mac and Cheese the second time around as it was AMAZING! Head out there and make that drive, message me and leave a comment and let me know what your thoughts are. If you didnt enjoy the food, dinners on me next round ;)

We ate brisket + 3 sides were baked beans that were amazing. They had bits of meat mixed in with them. The tater totts were deep fried so crispy. Coleslaw was tasty. A great dip that had a little kick but not hot. Pineapple upside-down cake was great. I normally don't eat dessert but I was hapy I did. Small menu lets them concentrate on quality.

The service is excellent, the food is worth the 5-10 minute wait. The portions are a decent size, you will definitely take leftovers home. I would suggest arriving early after they open as things get busy as the day goes on.

Well, you did it. I finally met a cornbread I like. Thanks guys. Everything was awesome. Mac n cheese, good. Tater tots, good (and crispy!). Brisket, good. Fried chicken, good. Tonight though, the cornbread was the star. It sang me a song filled with jalapenos and dense richness. The brown sugar crust on top was the perfect thing to round it out. I'll be dreaming of this cornbread tonight.

Went for the Nashville Chicken sandwich and the Brisket sandwich. Was not disappointed. The chicken sandwich had tons of flavour, and some nice heat, and the Brisket was super tender. Picked up Matty's new cookbook and got it signed. Great chef and super nice guy. Will be back!

Was really excited to try this place on a coworker’s recommendation. We had the pork butt sandwich, bbq brisket sandwich; both came with tater tots and some pickles. We also ordered a side of mac n cheese, which was pretty disappointing (in terms of value, $8!) and nothing much different from microwave quality. I will say though, that the sandwiches and tater tots were amazing and definitely worth stopping by in Fort Erie. We walked up to order and did not preorder for curb-side pickup. The wait was not long (5-10 mins) given the circumstances with COVID etc., and the order process was simple and seamless.

I've gone there twice to try different things the put on the menu. The bbq is good but and the sides are great. Which should be the other way around. They also messed up what sides I ordered and gave me the wrong ones on my order.

Drove all the way up from Toronto and all I can say is WOW. This was definitely worth the trip. Everything in the OG Combo complimented each other very well and it was all super delicious. The smoke & flavour on the brisket and ribs were amazing. Chicken was juicy and crispy. Mac & cheese was cheesy and had that flamin’ hot kick. Coleslaw with pickle was great. Tater tots were crispy and nicely seasoned. Buns were fresh. Spicy pickled veg was a nice touch as well. Also, couldn’t go wrong with the two dipping sauces that came with it. Big 12/10! Thanks for the experience!

Honest it’s mediocre at best... chicken barely had any flavour, Mac n cheese was over cooked, also preordered but had to wait another hour after my pick up time... your better off going to Popeyes. Coleslaw don’t try it. Beans was surprisingly the only that was good. The tater tots tastes like pringles bbq seasoning.

Incredible BBQ and worth the ride out to Fort Erie. Portions are quite generous and even though you're there for the mains the sides are scrumptious; especially the loaded taters! The fried chicken is a must have and there's really nothing else comparable in the region in terms of fried chicken. The seasoning adds this zesty kick to the chicken that is delicious. Matty is also a gem! He took photos with use and signed a copy of his cookbook while we were there.

What an experience! Simple, comforting, delicious, organized. We've been fans of Matty's for years after finding him on YouTube and often reference him when we are in the kitchen. We were visiting friends in Ontario (from BC) and made the drive for supper Sept 19th. They were equally as excited and we ate far too much. Going Sunday night the desert was all sold out but honestly I was already full after dinner. The best fried chicken I've ever had! One piece was as big as my hand. So juicy and the crust was unreal. The mac and cheese was so addicting. We showed up and had a short wait. Payment and receiving food was well organized and the tables outside were helpful! I already can't wait to come back :)

One word.......Unreal ???? picked up a pork butt dinner and a brisket dinner, and WOW. All the sides were delicious and the brisket you could cut with your fork it was so tender. So many different flavors and the meat is seasoned to perfection. You get a medley of sauces that just make everything even better! Highly recommend this place! The dinners come with 3 sides and is a ton of food for one person so you will definitely be happy. I will be back that's for sure. Well done you guys.....well done!

So Dave and I made the trip to Fort Erie to try celebrity chef Matty Mathison's Meat plus 3. What we expected was average Barbecue at crazy prices. What we got was the best Barbecue we have ever had at the same prices of other Barecue! Dave had the brisket, thick cut super flavorful butter tender. Not loaded with sauce. My Mom had the Nashville hot chicken. Lots of flaming hot cheetos dust. Crispy and delicious. Maybe to much slaw as the bottom of the bun was very wet. I had the pulled pork not all sauced up because it didn't need it. Moist and great flavour. House made Cheddar Jalapeno sausage, and some great mac and cheese, not to dry not to wet. Loaded with flavour. Covered in flaming hot cheetos dust! I know this is very long but, the Cornbread the banana pudding and the upside down Pineapple cake can't be missed! The Tatter Tots are also great.

Went and ordered the Nashville chicken. And can honestly say it's the best chicken sandwich I've ever had. So much heat and flavour, made me rethink my own existence. Went back the next weekend and got two new orders with the family. This is a must if you're in the area and you like good food.

Absolutely loved it and was worth the drive from Toronto. Got the chance to try the fish, pork butt and chicken. Best part? The tater tots and fried fish (awesome batter). Note, both the baked beans and collard greens have meat in them. Had the coffee cake, cherries and vanilla icecream for dessert. Awesome combo! Should note, if you had a long drive, there is no washrooms on site

I first heard about Matty Matheson's Meat + Three from another recent reviewer of this spot, Adrian Brownfield. Adrian purchased a couple of meals on his GF's birthday and ate them at our office in Niagara Falls. The best part was... I got a few bites, LOL. Well I told my wife, Ana, we would go there this weekend and tonight was the night. We actually drove our meals home to Niagara Falls as well, and it was all still hot when we arrived. The first thing you notice when you pull the meal boxes out of the bag is the sheer weight of them. These are some heavy portions! We shared one of each of the chicken and brisket dinners. Already knowing about the awesome sides, we had one meal with the tater tots, mac n' cheese, and the coleslaw. The other had the tots, mac n' cheese, and the baked beans. Well, after taking a few bites from my co-worker's meals at the office, I knew what my wife and I were in for. This is just an explosion of amazing tastes, each with their own distinct flavours. The chicken was fantastic, but the brisket was miles better still. I have never eaten brisket as good as tonight's dinner. The sides were just as good. Best mac n' cheese ever, with the crumbles spicy cheetos on top. So creamy! The tator tots were amazing with the creamy/spicy dipping sauce. The baked beans were also among the best I have ever eaten, with the secret ingredient being the bbq pork - what a taste! The coleslaw was a nice side to at least make you think you were eating healthy, LOL. I especially liked the pickle pieces in the slaw. Another couple of nice touches were the spicy bbq sauce and the two juicy hot peppers that garnished each meal. In a nutshell, I would recommend eating a meal at Matty Matheson's Meat + Three as soon as you can. I am already looking forward to our next visit. Enjoy!

Trapped on the other side,probably 200 yards into NY, but friends in professions allowing travel have brought Matty's food over (and Swiss Chalet) If you dont know who Matty Matheson is, thats fine. But once you try his food you will absolutely love the man. From his days of droppin wings at the bar on the Blvd to Parts and Labour, (RIP) Matty knows food. He knows that get in ur tastebuds funky savory meaty smoked meat people want. by far one of the best BBQ - true BBQ - in the northeast. Order anything, youll be happy. Exchange rate is 25% so its cheap and rivals anything in NY/PA/OH.

I really can’t get enough of this place! Absolutely worth the hour-long drive from Mississauga. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the food is delicious and portions will never leave you hungry. It’s located right across from the Canada-US border with plenty of parks nearby to enjoy your lunch/dinner and they also have a covered seating area in their parking lot.

Worth the drive from Niagara to Fort Erie. Best to pre-order as this is a popular barbecue spot. No indoor dining but they do have picnic tables for outside eating. They have awesome ribs on Sundays. Their brisket is the tender out and juiciest that we have ever had. Only mistake that I did was only getting a 1/2 lb of great brisket with I will not do that again.

Ordered the BBQ Brisket and the Nashville Hot Chicken. The Brisket was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. The Mac and Cheese was actually very good as well. Mac and Cheese is not always good even tho it's simple, it's usually just a blah loaf of elbow noodles lol. Tots were crispy and complimented the dish nice. Now for the Nashville chicken...ITS THE BEST CHICKEN SANDWICH I EVER ATE. Crispy. Hot. Bun nice and soft. Simply put this place is a gem and I'm very happy to come back again and again. Thank you for the great service. 11/10.

My boyfriend has known about Matty for years, and was beyond excited when he finally opened his own place. We ordered the pork butt, brisket, and two piece of fried chicken meal. While tucked a little out of the way, it was well worth the drive and lived up to all the hype. The brisket sandwich + tater tots was more than enough food and delicious down to the last bite. Sauce and seasoning was A+ and they even use paper containers and wooden forks for less waste which is the tiny details that I really appreciate seeing. Matty has something really special going on here, and will make return visits any time I'm in the Niagara region.

Two visits thus far. Visit 1 was 1lb brisket and fried chicken with Mac and cheese. Mac and cheese tasty but pasta over cooked and too mushy for our liking. Brisket delicious. We are white meat chicken eaters so we didn't enjoy chicken as they only serve thighs and drums. Visit 2 we did 1 lb brisket and ribs with side of beans. Won't get the beans again. Ribs good, tender. Sauce is sweet so use the dipping sauce they offer to spice up the sauce. We'll get the ribs again. Brisket delicious again. See you soon!

Made the trip from Toronto and we weren’t disappointed. Every bite was amazing. We ordered the hot chicken sandwich, Mac and cheese, brisket and fries, all 5/5. Great BBQ and a nice town to visit. I only wish it was closer.

Was busy but line moved at a decent pace and the food was worth it. We also ended up winning "The Golden Ticket" prize which was the icing on an already great experience.

Second time driving in from Brampton...brisket and chicken were amazing. Got all 6 sides - all flat out delicious, special shout out to the creamed corn. The life changer? That goddam Banana Pudding. I want a bathtub full of that s**t!
