Giving this restaurant 1 star is over generous. ...the girl that served us was rude and grabbing at body parts that's better left alone in public. ..waited over 25 minutes for a order of fries to go that was horrible. Person with me has a pouting and it was put in the bag sideways leaking all over. When asked why she did that it made a mess she got up in her face yelling what what what did u say.....never never again will we ever go there again. ..STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE

The fish is huge and thick with perfect batter . The burgers are real meat huge ask for goddaughter to get a smaller burger. They like to put too much ketchup, mustered and mayonaise on the burgers so unless you are eating it right away ask for them on the side .

Driven past this place many times (always busy). Finally had the opportunity to check it out. Menu is very extensive, and the offer All Day Breakfast. Waitress was very friendly and outgoing. Mentioned that everything was made in house. I Had the All Day Breakfast (was good). Was good, my Mom tried thier Coconut Wing Basket. When the food arrived, the Coconut shrimp was raw. The chicken didnt look good at all. Mom mentioned it to the waitress and she quickly replied "thats strange, the girl always food checks everything". Mom wasnt impressed. The waitress offered to refire the order. Mom refused as she was grossed out. The waitress the returned back a few mins later and said "i took 10% off your order". We mentioned that it may be the oil in the fryer. After that, I finished my coffee and paid the bill. Much to my surprise I noticed a sign showing its Wing day. Probably explains the strange after taste. For the most part, I wasn't impressed and probably will never return.

Hmm "We add music to our food" Maybe you should "Add a menu to your website" It's almost 2020, you're a restaurant in a Tourist area. How can you not see how much business you're losing by not taking the 5 minutes it would take to put your menu online. I was going to place an order. But menu "coming soon". Extremely busy on long weekend, but the beach and water were beautiful on a hot day. Finding parking was difficult but again very busy. $8 for the day 5 mins from the beach.

The place looked nice and was clean. The setup was a bit simplistic but we didnt go there for the interior design. We ordered burgers, a shawarma platter and a Mediterranean salad. The burgers were bad. They were dripping with I dont know what and soaked the buns in a minute. Couldn't eat it without the help of fork and knife afterwards. Too bad, it did look good when it was served. To call the Shawarma platter "Shawarma" is about the longest stretch I have ever experienced. In essence it is a Greek salad with chicken or beef and a wild assortment of humus and some other sauces. I very much wanted to like it, I simply couldn't. The mediteranean salad was decent, so that's a plus (and earned the second star). Not sure what to make of the place but it did bring out my inner Gordon Ramsey a bit. The girls were nice, so the rating is no fault of the waiting staff.

The wife and I stopped here for supper with 4 kids. I had the fish and chips, it was the special for $8.99. I left full and happy. Wife had wings and there were pretty good. Kids had the chicken fingers. They we're happy to. Only complaint was the service but all the girls there looked new exept the one who was doing a great job training and teaching the other girls but it appeared she had all new young staff and had a lot of work to do. If in the area again I would try again.

Service was ok, food was ok, ordered a grilled cheese kids meal and it literally came with 6 French fries most of which were tiny. Side gravy was super small. Not impressed at all with portion sizes. Prices were very high for what we got. I went with my family of 6 and not a single one of us were impressed.

One star is being generous!!!! Ordered cheeseburger and fries, it was more like a fake burger & fries with way to much garlic salt on the burger which is not made with beef, it is processed for sure we definitely will not go again.not worth the money and everything is an add on item, so if you want a burger it's 6 bucks and the fries and drink are extra. The whole menu is like that. They are trying to get rich quick. Better get better staff then !!!!

Sorry but I'm of the belief when I go somewhere to buy a burger and fries they should be made from scratch, a box burger and bag fries just doesn't cut it for me. This requires little effort to prepare, first and last visit.

Adele the general manager was our server and she was fantastic. She suggested mixing the logan berry juice we ordered with Sprite and wow, what a great combo. The food was great, arrived quickly and was reasonably priced. The restaurant has a homey feel and is well kept. Would have given 5 stars if the burgers were homemade but they were still very tasty. I had the "Godfather burger," absolutely huge! First time I couldn't get my mouth around a hamburger. Will definitely be bringing the family back. It's worth the drive from Welland.

Ordered the chicken shawarma wrap and was pleasantly surprised by the size (huge), the pickles (full sour), the meat (large chunks nicely seasoned) and freshness of all the veggies. Son ordered fish and chips and fish was nicely (heavily) battered and fries were great. Caesar salad had a bit too much dressing on it and ice tea had a strange flavour, also waitress wasn't the most friendly, so took off a star.

Went to eat here one morning and not only was the service the pits, but I asked for ketchup to put on my potatoes and the taste was so gross I went into there tiny tiny washroom to throw up. The ketchup went sour and when I told the server she didn’t seem surprised or didn’t care to fix the issue. The amount of dust everywhere was ridiculous too. Looks like this place isn’t taken care of at all. Needs a deep cleaning and better workers who care to talk with the customers instead of just sitting I the back talking to each other. Will not be returning to this place!!!

Was my first visit at this place. Super clean, friendly affordable and had a family oriented run feel to it. Although we ate inside there was also plenty of picnic tables outside that would have made a great outdoor experience on a nice day. The Haddock as well as the batter was great...cooked perfect and not greasy! Will return again at some point to try other menu items! ????????

There was so much grease in my onion rings I was able to squeeze a tablespoon of grease out of just one. My burger pattie was a cheap frozen burger, McDonald's burger patties taste like sawdust but at least they're edible.

Used to be a great place with homemade burgers. Not the case any more. I placed an order for take out and specifically asked if they used cheese curds or mozzarella for their poutine. I was told curds, however when I opened it I found out they used mozzarella. Burger was a let down, poutine definitely disappointing. Last time for me

My favorite place to eat in Niagara by far. The food is second to none. The staff are like family. There isn't a place that I enjoy more than Crystal Beach Gateway. Walking in and seeing the wonderful smiles of the staff is always a pleasure. If you go during a slower time, you get to speak to the staff a bit and learn they are sincerely wonderful. Add in the fact that they all strive to give you great food, and believe me they do, it's a pleasurable experience each time.

My partner and I use to love ordering the fish and chips on Friday nights as a nice treat. Last time we ordered it was not the greatest but we gave them a second chance. Well that was a mistake. Tried for 30 minutes to call and place our order however it continually went to voicemail. So he went right to the restaurant only to find out they had the phone purposely off the hook because they do not want to answer the phone. He orders the 2 piece fish and chips with gravy and she tried to charge him $30 when it's $12 on Fridays. So he gets home we open our food and the fish was ok but the fact that there was maybe a small handful of fries is completely unacceptable. When. Trying to call and speak with the manager I get told they are not in and they will take my info and call me back but not today maybe tomorrow... They have officially lost our business.

Tonight was tg first time I've been here in a long time I usually order the burger and fries or chicken fingers (typical staple take out meal for me) tonight I ordered the Club Sandwich with fries and onion rings and OMG Real thick cut bacon Real roasted turkey nicely sliced tomatoes on Texas toast - by far one of the best clubs I've had in years! The server took my order as it was busy I waited in my car to keep with covid regulations and the server brought my take out right to my car! I didn't catch her name but she was very pleasant! I'll def be going out of my way to come back here!!! (used to live in crystal beach now in Stevensville) well done everyone!!!

This was a very disappointing experience. Only 2 other tables of 2 were there and we waited 25 min for 3 servings of bacon and eggs. The flavor was disappointing and the bill was over $40. We were never asked how things were or if we needed anything. The table behind us had their order wrong and waited just as long as we did. They walked out without even touching a thing to eat. Very disappointed in how it was handled as well. The owner was well aware of everyone being unhappy and did not say or do anything. The only thing I got was an apology from our waitress. It's too bad...we were looking forward to a new spot to try locally as we go every Sunday for a family breakfast.

I did a Greek burger and fries to go and was on the road quickly to enjoy not only a delicious burger but fresh and bigger than could have guessed. The new owners totally messed this place up. We waited 36 minutes for our food. Eggs, home fries and toast were cold. Order was also wrong and they didn't offer to fix it. Asked for more toast because the previous toast was freezer burned and they never brought out the new toast. Waitresses were going to other tables apologizing to other peoples because of the long wait times. BRING BACK BACKITY BACK ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wish there was a negative rating in here because they don't even deserve 1 star. It took 45 minutes before we got the first part of our food, there was 3 of us, we ordered a Caesar salad, 1lb chicken wings, a clubhouse and a hamburger. I understand it is a long weekend and they were sorta busy but 45 minute wait for bar food lunch is insane. Also I'm a little confused by the decor it has a lot of ranch style decorations such as a really tacky rooster but pictures on the wall are classic mobster type such as the godfather while the sign out front says something along the lines of "we will bring music to your food" which they didn't do anything but have the local radio playing subtly in the background. With the style of restaurant where you get seated and then go up and order it can be probablematic because someone else might come take the table you were seated at while you were ordering (happened to the table next to us). Furthermore when you order/pay with debit/credit it asks you if you want to add a tip, as a server myself why would I tip if I don't know how my service was yet? We got served by all 3 cashiers that were working at some point during our visit but because each if then has no loyalty to our table (because we have already paid and tipped) service was subpar. I think things would be greatly improved if they just let the cashiers be servers and take tables and orders like a traditional restaurant (and I am sure they feel similar because they'd make money for their hard work). Finally I am slightly confused as to why there sign says homemade burgers when they are clearly frozen. I am glad to see a new business open in town but if they don't start making some improvement I don't think they will last long.

Ordered takeout. Waited 40 minutes for the food. Overheard that they were short a cook, but still a ridiculous wait. Food was just ok and they also shorted us an order of fries. Never going back again.

Very disappointed. I ordered a “shawarma wrap”it came to me completely ripped up and barely even together. I found this kinda unprofessional. My order was wrong, along with my mother’s. My father ordered wings and they were barely cooked, closer to undercooked. The restaurant was not visually busy. Very disappointed with my service tonight and I do not recommend. Dinner was a complete waste, I ended up making a new meal. Definitely the worst Father’s Day dinner ever. I tried to review on Facebook 3 times to post pictures and it wouldn’t let me. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Go somewhere else.

My family and I have eaten there 4 times in the past year. The first two visits were excellent, however the last two were not. Most recently on 21/08/27, three hamburgers were left uneaten because of strange smell and flavour. We informed the server and she agreed, but wouldn't take any money off the bill.

Went with my parents, and we all decided we will never go back. Food was served to each member of our table at separate times. My husband was finished his meal completely before the rest of us had even been served. My mom's pita was so hard she couldn't even eat it. My dad's falafel fell apart because his pita was so stale. And they had to make me 3 salads before getting my simple request of 'no hot peppers' correct. We sat by the counter and staff was everywhere and had no clue what they were doing. They were friendly when they had to apologise 10 times for the terrible experience, but that didn't make up for the poor service and bad food. And their chicken shawarma is mediocre at best...and I was so excited to try it. Very disappointing.
