Absolutely terrible food tonight. Ordered the steak and lobster tail. The steak was completely grisly and the side of corn was literally frozen. Loved the waitress wonderful service. Felt bad for sending food back but the managers resolution to the disgusting meal was to give me $ 5.80discount off my bill. Gee thanks i left hungry because I didn't actually eat anything except the baked potato. Won't bother going back. To many good restaurants that value their customers to take another chance with this one. Terrible!!!!!!!!!!!@

Service was aweful. Waited 40 minutes for our food. Two ceasar salads and three kids meals. Ceasar salads were 85% rotten lettuce. Tried getting servers attention. She finally came 45 minutes after kids finished eating. They didnt charge for the one salad because I didnt eat a single bite. The other salad they gave 50% off because they said it was eaten. It wasnt eaten....it was completely picked apart trying to find some good lettuce. Very disappointed. When we aske dto pay for our bill she returned 25 minutes later asking if there was anything else we wanted. We were standing ready to go for at least 15 minutes before we said again please bring our bill.

Food was sub par. Service was uncomfortable...not sure how else to explain it? Our server was super nice almost over the top and asked far too many questions. I know that is an odd complaint but at one point she even came to the table and tried to pack my food up to take home. I wasn't even done half my meal yet! Not sure why she thought I was? The bread on my sandwich was old and dry and split while trying to eat it. The fries were basic frozen fries and soggy. My husband ordered the mushroom burger, came with an almost whole mushroom on top of the burger not cut. The burger was much smaller than the bun and he was 3 bites in before he got to the burger. Will not be returning.

First off, if your going for dinner in St.Thomas, DO NOT GO HERE! go to St.Thomas Roadhouse. Well first off we get there and it’s a half hour wait oh well right, we get our seat and it’s on the bar side which we did not want. We order our food (me and my Girlfriend) we got the nachos and there was barely anything on them, we wait 45 minutes for our entree’s and everything was cold, the waitress forgot my lobster tail which was the size of a shrimp and was burnt. My girlfriends steak was burnt and tasteless and her gravy was jelly. The fries were cold and soft. So halfway through eating our food the music turned up so loud that we couldn’t talk, the cooks were drinking alcohol (saw them make drinks bring them into the kitchen and drink it) the waitress and manager ignored us, he was too interested in the basketball game. We got dessert the coconut cream pie and was just crust and whip cream and while attempting to eat that I witnessed a waitress drop food on the counter put it back on the plate and serve it. Got the bill and was so damn overpriced even after the coupon. Long story short please do not waste your money here.

This was my first visit and I got a steak which was huge and I could only eat half. I ordered medium rare, but it tasted more like rare. On my next visit I will go up to medium and hopefully that will help. Great creamy mashed potatoes. The girl who cashed me out was really nice and I really appreciate that. All in all I will be back :)

Good prices, but somewhat limited menu. No more beans served with steaks (really miss this). They also don't have chipotle mayo, which is super popular now. Likely won't return because, oddly enough, we loved the beans. Good prices though.

Pretty yummy but the "Honesty" fee runs me the wrong way. I get that the cost of food has increased but giving me a price and then telling me that there is an additional 3% doesn't seem right especially since part of their marketing is based on their low menu prices before the "honesty" fee.

We went today. It's the second time we've gone and I don't think we'll be back. It's an OK place, seems to be clean and in good repair. It took 40 minutes to get our food after we waited 20 for a waitress, and drinks. The waitresses were polite and friendly enough when we actually saw them. There seemed to be a little group of three or so employees having a social at the end of the bar, not looking around or monitoring their customers. We ordered the cheese garlic bread. Don't do it! It's just a little loaf of bread with cheese melted on it, most of that cheese is stuck to the stone dish it comes on. I asked for extra pickle, didn't get it, had to ask 3 different people for ketchup. No coleslaw with the fish, and no marinara sauce for mozzarella sticks. I've never even heard of people using ranch for a mozzarella dip, dairy overload. Gross.We were going to have dessert but we couldn't get anyone's attention and no one came to ask, so we asked a little girl at the front who was staring off into space if we could have the bill. Service is nonexistent. They seem to need a manager, or one that knows what they're doing.

Made a reservation for 5 ppl but no table - ended up eating in the bar area - I certainly was not impressed to pay over $200 to take family for dinner to have the waitress ignore me and fawn over my man. Good thing my mother was there or the fur would have flown. Especially with how messed up our plates were - we were switching food items across 5 plates to correct everything. Okay food (except corn is disgusting - must be dipped in some oil concoction), terrible service - we haven't returned since my dinner-out disaster last December. Mom wasn't pleased. In-laws thought the whole evening was a joke. We all left shaking our heads.

Almost didnt even try this restaurant due to some of the poor reviews. Decided to give it a try and had no complaints. Food was good and prices are cheap, 4 steak dinners with drinks for under $100. We went at 6pm on a Saturday and were greeted and seated right away, wait time for the food was very reasonable. The waitress was new and was trying her best, made a few mistakes on the drinks but overall everything was good, would return.

I have been wanting to try this place for a while, even more so waiting for the welland location to open so, we went to the one in fort erie. Service was good, waitress was comical with my son. We all enjoyed our meal. We had deep fried pickles that were tasty. Steak was cooked to perfection, burger was good and so were the ribs and chicken wings. Only complaint really were fries could have been cooked a tad longer. Otherwise will definitely be back!

Oct 22/20 I have ate at Chucks Roadhouse twice first time I had Lobster and steak it was ok but not great. But today I went at noon ordered a Chucks Burger and fries. I wait a long time for the food to come. When if did I asked the Waitress for vinegar . I waited for the vinegar and I wait for the vinegar after five minutes she give me the vinegar I told her the fries were cold now she ask me if I wanted the take home I said no. I was check them out for a place to take my family out to dinner before Christmas . I guess it,s Rex or Betty,s. No Chucks Roadhouse they did not pass the test for my Family outing. To bad they are close to my apartment.

Had the 14oz cowboy and subbed the fries for caesar salad. Steak was really good, tender and flavourful and they sure don't skimp on the onions and mushrooms. The caesar dressing was awesome, overall a good meal. Only negative was how long it took to get the bill and then another long wait for the debit machine, but that's a peeve of mine. Waiting longer to pay than for the meal itself, especially because it wasn't that busy. But we will be back I'm sure!

We were not given many options as many places were closed on Sunday night. One dish was cold in the middle. Another was over cooked. The steak had no flavor. Our waitress was wonderful and hard working.

The service was quite slow, which was understandable given how busy it was. Our waitress was quite friendly and did her best to make up for the problems. My friend's food was horribly undercooked, and was told "if we cook the meat anymore it'll be burned". My burger was burned, the entire outside was black... as for my fries, choking on a hair was the last thing I expected. I've never refused to give a tip until today, but that didn't stop them... they add a "honest to goodness" service charge to your bill. The only acceptable thing about this place is the pricing, which was fair as far as I'm concerned.

There were 4 of us in our party and 3 of us had the Wednesday rib special. The other guest had roast beef. The food was terrific and the prices even with the 3% charge were reasonable. Server was a bit uneducated as to the menu and kitchen practices but was super pleasant. The mens bathroom was disgusting. Urine all over the stall walls and floor. Wasn't just from a single person and had accumulated over hours. Will definately be back for the food but the management might want to consider checking the bathrooms a bit more frequently.

When you're feeling like a steak, ribs or chicken this is a great choice. Amazing steak prices. I had the 12 oz ribeye (great price of $19.99) while my wife had the quarter chicken. The steak was really tender and cooked medium rare to my liking. Baked potatoes were really nice and came fully loaded with your choice of toppings: sour cream, green onions, bacon bits or cheese. They've been around since 2015. So a fairly new establishment. Great little spot for a steak and all the fixings.

The food isn't anything special, you get what you get with Chuck's but the service here went above and beyond and for that I'm grateful. I put in a take out order and got a call back that something went wrong. They fixed the problem with smiles and understanding which is exactly what my famished family needed. Ordered curbside pickup and the meals were terrible. The fries were cold and undercooked and only recieved about 10 fries each. The steak was supposed to be medium rare and it was very rare. The spinach dip was good but a tiny portion and was also cold. We've never eaten at Chuck's before and can't say we ever will again. Save your money and eat somewhere else!

Food's good but their customer service is disturbing. We had placed an order at 7:50, earlier than the closing time at 10 pm, but never received any notification to pickup our food. We had reached out the night of and tried to cancel our order. This message still has not yet been opened by them.. Not having the ability to read dates, or messages, they had prepared our food randomly the next day after 4pm. We reached out for a refund since we couldn't at the time pick it up, they denied. I have never been so disappointed in a restaurant. It was honestly embarrassing. I ordered take out and not a single item was good. The fries were not cooked (their deep fryer is either not up to temp or they pulled them early), the salad dressing tasted like mayo (not Caesar). My husband and I got the burger and the chicken club so we could split and each try. The burger was pink (not sure if it’s 100% beef or a mix so stopped eating it as their website does not specify) and the cherry on top was that the chicken club was missing chicken. Reviews say they are slow but honestly, you can’t rush it by not fully cooking food and by forgetting key items. I tried it a few weeks ago and wasn’t impressed but for the price I couldn’t complain... now it’s not worth it. Never again. Please, get new kitchen staff or a better kitchen manager.

First time I went was opening week. So I figured the extremely slow service was because of that. They brought us out the wrong order (not ours someone else's) When they did bring our steak, both were wrong. We asked for medium rare got well done. They took it back and we waiting another 25 mins or so for our food to come back out. Again, figured this was just growing pains.. New staff.. Wen't back again, the food was average at best. My steak had some type of sauce on it that wasn't really good. I think they may have picked up the chicken wings someone else ordered at my table and then my streak with the same tongs.. They have to make some improvements if the place is going to last. "honest to goodness fee" is kind of a joke. I guess you get what you pay for. If you want a cheap meal, its is ok.. Just ok..

I went here excited to try this for the first time. Waited at the door for 5 minute without being helped. Finally proceeded to the bar to order a dish to go, but the bartender and waitress weren't sure the dish I wanted was a to go dish. They were both sure it "probably " wasn't available but neither were willing to go confirm. So now I will not go back to even attempt to order something from them as it would "probably " be to much of a hassle to expect anyone to actually try to help you.

I ordered a buffalo chicken sandwhich which consisted of a long submarine type bun with 2 chicken fingers on it. Basically one chicken finger per half. The bun wasn't toasted or warm. It was all bun with a slice of tomato, some lettuce and a chicken finger. I told the manager that for $10 this is not a buffalo chicken sandwich. It was a chicken finger on some bread. She indictated there have been some issues with this meal and they are in the process of changing it. I was told I would receive a 50% discount on my meal . After we finished eating, a dessert was delivered to our table which the waitress said was complimentary. While thoughtful, I can't eat ice cream so it was a somewhat futile effort and to add insult to injury, I was charged for this dessert I didn't ask for. Until Chucks smarten up, they have lost a fairly regular customer. Very unimpressed since they changed owners. Won't be going back. Don't recommend it at all.

Never I repeat Never go to any Chusk's roadhouse locations. If you want slow service or even any service at all go to a different restaurant. I waited 45 minutes for my food then when it came out it was cold. Complained about it being cold then 10 minutes later got it back cold. Never go to one ever. 1st visit food took almost an hour and came over cooked, wife wanted medium rare steak and it came well, I ordered medium rare steak and a lobster tail. The steak came slightly under well and the tail was like rubber. 2nd chance we had burgers, they were dry and had the consistency of burgers that had been cooked previously, frozen then re-heated, the french onion soup had very little flavour and my bun was hard. iIf that isn't bad enough what the he## is this "Honest to Goodness Fee" of 3% when the food isn't even very good. I told the manager it was not a government implemented tax and I didn't want to pay it. He said there was nothing he could about it and walked away. There are plenty of others places to eat thank goodness.

Went to Chucks to watch the Blue Jays game tonight and was super impressed by the service, the atmosphere, and the prices too! The atmosphere is awesome and so is the staff. Is a relaxed and enjoyable place to go and get something to eat with family and friends however I think more food variety is needed. I order the guartered BBQ Hickory Smoked Chicken breast, and it was good but The sauce wasn't my favorite and the mashed potatoes where instant and not to my liking, however they where very kind and helpful trying to find something else for me. Got to the restaurant and got a table right away. 3 p.m so not busy time.waited about 15 minutes and no server. Had to ask for a server!! Kids were getting impatient. After asking our server came,no apologies,took another 15 minutes to get drinks . Couple beside us came in after us and were done eating before we got our food. The food was good when it finally came though the steak was well done when I asked for medium. Manager asked how everything was as we were leaving and I told him honestly(politely). No apology then either. No discount. Nothing. Not going back anytime soon

Have had terrible service with rotten food. Wait times are ridiculous even without anyone there. Owner is rude and unhelpful. Doesn’t know how to use an online gift certificate. Do not recommend. Three times I have here and each time I order a steak medium well I each time it has been raw to rare very rare, they have asked is my steak okay I said no but I'll eat it. I don't believe the people cooking the meat have any idea what they're doing it's not a case of being close, obviously in each case the state has been well seared in a very hot pan and that is the problem all they look at is the outside of the state, I will not be back again, three times is my limit. I was very glad to hear Chuck's was opening in St Catharines because I do go to the one in fort Erie and I've never had a problem

Last night, myself and a group of five others went to the fort Erie location, at 545pm... The host was nowhere to be found initially (and through the entire time we were there he wasn't often at his post when people came in), so basically we waved at someone to ask if we could seat ourselves by the window at the front. No problem, it was busy. Our drinks were ordered and soft drinks brought out. But my brother in law ordered a beer... And fifteen mins later after our soft drinks came out, still nothing. He went up to the bar (right by our table) and the bartender had no record of it.. so they got him his beer. We ordered appetizers and food .. the salted garlic bread has changed again to just a few chunks of bread with garlic on it vs the little loaf pieces as previous... And my sister's mozzarella sticks never came. We asked about them twice and were told "they'll be right out". Between us we ordered quesadillas, burgers, a grilled cheese for the kid, and a chicken salad (which was a piece of grilled chicken, and a bowl of salad????). Our entrees took over an HOUR to get to us. And the quesadillas were dry, hardly any filling, and almost no buffalo sauce. I have been to this location dozens of times, and the service is always spotty, sometimes slower than others, but this was ridiculous, and I'll just go to the one in the Falls if I bother again.

My husband and I received very generous “First Responder” gift certificates from Chuck’s Roadhouse to have a meal on them. So nice! We hadn’t had the chance to order from the St. Thomas location yet and let me tell you, we were not disappointed!! We spoke with Christina who we placed our order with and she helped me with my dietary restrictions. I ordered a “lettuce bun burger” and crispy fries. My husband ordered the Montreal smoked meat sandwich, fries and some chicken wings. When we picked up the order, my husband presented our two coupons ($20 each) but we didn’t realize we could not combine them for one order. Did that matter to St. Thomas Chucks?? Nope. They made it work!! They split our order so we could use both gift certificates. SO nice!! The food exceeded our expectations!!! Yummy!! And they followed every dietary need I had! Believe me, it doesn’t happen too often with other establishments. There’s always a mistake. Not with St. Thomas Chucks. Everything was perfect. My husband said there was enough Montreal smoked meat for two sandwiches! Thank you to Chuck’s Roadhouse for our generous gift certificates and thank you to the staff at St. Thomas Chucks, especially to the nice and very professional manager, Kaitlyn, the server Christina who took and relayed our order perfectly and the kitchen staff who made our yummy food. The food is good - and the prices are dirt cheap - $6 burger and fries?! So we went, made a reservation for 2. It was packed. We waited to get drinks. We ordered an app - which they hadn't gotten in yet. We got a bacon cheeseburger/salad and the Buffalo chicken sandwich and fries. But they ran out of fries. So salad instead. Honestly, the food was awesome, but we waited about 45 mins to get it. All in all, $50 for the meal and 3 drinks is good, but the service is slow. Oh, and a 3% "honest to goodness tax" back to the franchise to keep prices low...yeah, just charge me extra. This tax feels....shifty, even if its not.

As for the table service could have been better, buddy asks if we want refills but leaves our empty glasses lol. Secondly, asked for medium rare steak, again another chain restaurants cook got it wrong, guess next time i go to a place like this (not this place) I’ll have to say rare. It was served medium well. Don’t understand how someone that does this for a living messes that up. On a more positive note, the atmosphere is nice, lots of TVs to watch sports when waiting for food. Stuck in the Soo for the weekend and tired of lousy service at the truck stop, we were looking for something new. We found it at Chuck's. Our first time eating at Chuck's Roadhouse.....despite there being one in my hometown. Let me start with our food....French Onion soup as a starter for myself....probably the best French Onion soup I've ever had. Our entrees were excellent. I had the 7 oz. top sirloin with lobster tail....both cooked perfectly. My boyfriend had the 20 oz. porter house steak and even his was cooked perfectly. Our waitress...Amanda W. was awesome and definitely earned her tip this evening. The manager made a point of stopping by our table, not once but twice. As a restaurant that has been open for only a short time, you truly made our experience memorable in a good way and we are both looking forward to returning our next time in town

I've have been to the one in Niagara falls several times always fab service and ribs are tender been to Fort Erie several times..ri s were cold and tough sent them back they came back hot and my fries were ice cold and side of corn..service was dreadful. Close to our hotel so we went here. The man at the front door was there to check vaccination proof and ID. He wanted to handle all of our documents until we said he can look without touching them. He could be passing the virus to each customer. Our waitress was indeferent and unfriendly. UFC fights were on most TV screens during the meal... Hardly appetizing. The steak was thin and dry. Wish I can say this location lived up to the others :( Friends took out my husband and I for dinner this past weekend and it was awful. We ordered apps (a dip) which don't come with nearly enough bread, so we ordered another. That second one took about 30 mins (just bread!!). We then waited an hour and a half for our food which came out luke warm. The poor waitress did willingly apologize on her own and say she will have someone come talk us. We never said a word or complain to her. Both my husband and male friend went to the restroom and said there were several people in the washroom complaining of the same issues. The washrooms were in serious need of cleaning and some repairs, already!?! The table next to us left as they waited too long to get their food, and NO manager ever did come to talk to us. Safe to say we wont be returning. The amount of negative and 1 star reviews they have received already should be alarming.. poor management is showing.

Ordered a mother's day meal from them and it was horrible. What was worse was they way Chuck's handled it. We ordered the steak and lobster. We ordered the steaks medium rare and they were well done. The lobster was absolute mush, I could of mashed it like mashed potatoes. Then when we took the meal back we were told by the supervisor that we would have to wait for the owners to come in for a refund because she didn't know how to do it. So why would you appoint someone as your supervisor but then not provide them the appropriate training.....like how to do a refund? Then when we spoke to the owner, he said and I quote "Lobster is hit or miss, sometimes you get good ones and sometimes not". OMG, I have eaten at a lot of places, but have never heard a restaurant serving lobster make a comment like that. Not what a customer wants to hear when it is one of the most expensive options on ANY restaurant's menu. Would NEVER eat at this Chuck's again.

Started out being seated in a nice small area, our server was terrible only visited our table once minus bringing the check and our food. our food came out a stunning record 45 minuites after being ordered. My chicken sandwich was maybe a 5inch hard bun with a single chicken finger on it tossed in hot sauced with a slice of mozzarella on it. my girlfriend was brought a meal which looked like it was off the kids menu. it was a chicken wrap no bigger than an iPhone. food was terrible not worth the $30 paid for both. serve was even worse.

We had a really bad server i think his name was dino ( the flamboyant one) had to ask other servers for refills, forks, napkins it was brutal. Chicken was cold, i had the surf and turf lobster tail was good, steak was over salted and cold, corn tasted like it was boiled in fish water and tasted like i was licking a brick of salt, and the potatoes tasted like water. All in all the server ruined my experience right off the bat.

I ordered take out tonight and was greatly disappointed with my order. I ordered the chicken, Caesar Salad and garlic bread. The chicken was dry couldn't finish it without drinking a gallon of water. There was barely any cheese on the bread or any sign of garlic taste. The salad was so small I think I finished with 2 bites, luckily there was 2 croutons to split between the bites. The one piece of bacon on the other hand was too small to cut into 2 pieces. Very disappointed for the money I spent.

My wife had the burger it was ok. I had the Montreal smoked meat sandwich. I was surprised it was not toasted till I discovered the the toasted side was on the inside of the sandwich. It was very dry and I did not finish it. I upgraded to onion rings which were few and mushy. As always the soda drinks always taste off but that's been a problem at most restaurants. The only good thing about the place is the price. also the motorcycle at the door looks like it was rode the same day and parked there. its covered in dirt and grease. if anybody reads this at chucks I would be happy to come back and clean it for free.

This place is unreal! The food, beers, service and price were all AMAZING! We went on a Sunday just minutes to 5pm, and our server made sure to get 2 beers each punched in for us because the special ended at 5pm. The food was incredible, the portions were just right for the price. We got the garlic cheese bread, chuck's burger with fries (and gravy) and the buffalo chicken sandwich with caeser salad - all were delicious! A man who we presume was the manager was on the ball and very interactive with all the guests coming and going. While we sat, staff were cleaning menus and keeping busy, not standing around on their cellphones. For our first time at Chuck's, they did not disappoint! We were so excited for the food when it arrived, we forgot to take a picture! 10/10 would recommend, we will absolutely be back!

New to St. Thomas so gave this place several tries (here for our 5th). Won't return. Service for a table takes several minutes once you're in the door every time we've been, this is our 4th different waitress and none have been. They mumble, take your order begrudgingly and just waited 20mins for a glass of wine and Sprite. It is not busy. We ordered the nachos on our second visit and they have barely any toppings, just soggy chips. The wings are not good either with barely any sauce. I will be driving into London if I want to go to Chuck's in the future that location is amazing. Avoid this place at all costs unless you like bad service and have all night to wait.

The good: Food is cheaper than most places and is pretty tasty Two bad experiences: Had ordered a meal and came 5 min after it was supposed to be ready. They said it was gonna come out soon. We waited 30 to 40 minutes so clearly they didn't make it. All they had to do was be honest or throw something extra in for the inconvenience. They completely ignored the situation or sincerely apologize for the situation. I ordered two items. One was a salad no tomatoes and it came with tomatoes and the other order was wings and tenders that I asked to be in bbq sauce rather than Buffalo and to my surprise came with no sauce at all. Went here last night mostly because grocery store was closed and we had coupons. We were greeted at the very small entry way. We were told it’d be about 25 minutes for a table, which was to be expected with a brand new restaurant, as well as because it is rather crammed into its location. After waiting for a few minutes, it was apparent that there were multiple tables that were not being used, and were not going to be used. For some reason they were not filling all the tables. Waited another 7 or so minutes to get sat by the manager. No server name was given, and it took another 5 minutes for someone to come take our drink order, and that someone was a different manager, not our actual server. Once we were helped out by about 5 different employees and received our drinks, our hopes were not high for dinner. However, things improved from that point on. It took 13 minutes from the time we place our order to the time we received our food. I ordered the big chuck burger. The patties were a little too charred, but it still tasted better than most burgers in town. My girlfriend steak was cooked well, but the corn was poorly done. Dessert was amazing for $5. Huge portion and tasty. I would recommend going here at least once to change things up. Hopefully they get into a better rhythm as a team and I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt because it’s a brand new place with what seems to be a lot of employees new to the restaurant business. And hopefully the menu can get expanded a little in the future. I know of other “Chuck’s” that offer more items.

Food was disappointing. Bone-in ribeye was ordered med rare, but half was uncooked and inedibly tough. Salad was depicted as spring mix, and waiter was asked beforehand if that's what it was. They make the best corn biscuits I ever tried in my life, including in the South. Their very affordable steak is absolutely perfect!! Highly recommended salads. My partner ordered a dessert and it was a huge gooey delicious dish. I have only good things to say about this place. One of our local favorites! Grateful to be able to dine out at the patio. Not recommended during the hot lunch hours, though.

Last few times we have gone the service has been so slow. Tonight we waited 15mins for our drinks alone.. food came out relatively fast but our waitress kept going MIA. Pretty sure one of the cooks brought our food out for us. I ordered the Roast Beef meal and my beef was so tough I couldn't even eat it and the potatoes tasted like boxed potatoes. When our waitress finally came back out we asked for waters and again.. took forever. Then we asked for the bill and after 15 mins she came back over with the bill and as we were trying to pay with the machine she said she'd be right back.. and never came back so we finished paying and left. (I should also add it was not that busy in there.) Was not a good experience at all and probably won't be going back anytime soon.

The only pro I have is that the food is pretty good (ribs and wings combo was my order), but I couldn't enjoy my time there, since there are so many flies where we were sitting, plus there's no air conditioning, so I was sweating in there, and no curtains to block the sun from hitting us. So pretty much, the food was good, but those three things I mentioned, killed the enjoyment, and left me and the group disgusted.

Absolutely dreadful. Ordered a prime rib sandwich, waited over an hour for the food to come. When it arrived I was given roast beef. I inquired about my order, I was then told by the same server that took the order that "Sorry we don't have prime rib at this location, I wish they would have the right menu on the website". In disbelief I asked for the manager, waited 10 minutes and she never came. So we left. Another couple beside us laughed and said that their salad was soggy, steak was burned to a crisp. Another older woman beside us had to ask the server if her lobster was "swimming in from Nova Scotia" because it took so long. What an absolute joke. Would not recommend.

Very slow service, it took 20 minutes to get drinks over an hour for our dinner and I also know why it's cheap the steak was as tough as my leather work boots, I asked for medium rare and not a bit of pink at all, also the steak was paper thin. I suggest you spend a couple more dollars and skip this place.

Honestly, I don't know why I keep trying to like this place. They seemed very understaffed the last time I went.... The waitress was extremely rude, and not at all helpful. It always takes a while for food to come out, and when I there with a large party around Christmas time last year, there were too many mess-ups to count, including promising our group a certain table, and then changing the table without our knowledge. Food was wrong, late etc. ...... Too many mistakes to count on two hands. Their saving grace is their prices, which are very reasonable for an actual sit down restaurant. Just don't go there in a hurry....

Worst meal ever eaten at this location. We always get the steak and lobster but wanted to try something new. We got the cheese burger and fish and chips. The burger was rock hard, the bun was stale. The fries and gravy were ice cold and our server was ridiculous. Three different waitresses asked us if we ordered other food and did we get it. I had to ask my waitress 3 times to get my ceasar drink which came with no rimmed top and that's my favourite part. She took back our fries and gravy and said she just microwaved them to get them warm. Disgusting and we will never go back.

October 14 - today is Thanksgiving day. I get it, the staff don't want to be at work today but that's no excuse to provide subpar service. We ordered a loaded garlic bread to appetize... It was loaded with disappointment. Tiny, hardly any cheese and basically cremated. Asked for gravy for fries - pretty sure it came out of a can. It was like water. Awful. Ordered the big Chuck burger. Double patties, yes. Double cheese, yes. Double bacon, nope. OH WAIT! It did have two tiny slice of cold bacon on it. I guess that qualifies as double bacon. Sister in law ordered a salad as a side, it showed up as a huge bowl. Side of fries arrived with her burger. I get it, the staff don't want to work on a holiday. But this meal was a culinary genocide. As a chef, I'd be embarrassed to send that food we received off the line.

Had takeout tonight from the Fort Erie location. Very good experience. Steak doesn't lend itself well to takeout because it doesn't stay hot for long but ours was fine. Went for dinner on a Thursday. Place is nice inside and was busy. Wait staff was quick to the table to take drink order and prices were very reasonable.Drinks were a domestic pitcher of beer for $9! Food, I ordered the $20 steak and lobster and my sister ordered a bacon burger with fries. Drinks came pretty quick and that’s when the wait started. Watched another table sit down, eat and get their bill. Finally asked a couple times where the meals were. Server said they would look into it. After 45 min it showed up. Looked good and I was willing to forgive the wait as we were starving by this time. Except the steak was barely warm and the lobster tail was only half cooked. I ate the steak and part of the tail that was cooked. The best thing on the plate was the potato lol. The burger was overcooked fries were good. I generally don’t complain to servers but I thought it’s a new place if I owned it I would want to know. So the server offered to reduce my meal by 25% which I declined. The point wasn’t the $5 it was that if no one says anything about what’s leaving the kitchen how are they going to fix it I get the place is new and there are kinks to be worked out. I will probably give it another try as their food (if hot and on time) would be pretty good and the prices are decent. Hopefully they get it running smoother soon

We've been to the Welland location a few times. The first time was around when they first opened and it was okay. Just okay. We just assumed that it was because they still needed to iron out some things because of just recently opening. We just went last night again to give them another try, and it was kind of frustrating. Once seated, no one came to check on us for a while and when they did, we were met with a unfriendly waitress. I ordered the peppercorn steak and it was probably the worst steak I've ever had. I understand that it's a peppercorn steak so there will be a lot of pepper on it...which I like. But, the whole steak was literally crusted with peppercorns. I had to use a ton of steak sauce just to get it down. I'm still tasting the pepper the next day. My wife ordered the fish and chips and the fish was rock hard and had a weird after taste. The beer also tasted off. The service was kinda horrible. We were always waiting for our server to check on us. Kind of a weird thing was that their one server was walking around without a mask covering his face.... I know masks are annoying, but when customers are not wearing masks...you gotta wear one! At other Chuck's, we've really enjoyed the food, and the service. So, we were excited to see one come to Welland. Sadly to say, we will not be going the the Welland location anymore. We will drive to another one or go anywhere else.

We liked the food, but it was the service that was extraordinary! The side soup we got was not to our satisfaction, we didn't think much about it... but we happened to mentioned to it to the waiter, when he asked how everything was. We went around 6pm on a Sunday night. Smells awesome in there! Waited maybe 15 minutes for a table for 3. The only bbq on the menu is ribs, but it smells like that’s all they have. I was a bit disappointed in that. We all had the $20 steak & lobster dinner. It was tasty. The prices are good for a steakhouse, I have to say. Our waitress was nice and helpful. I’d go back.

We ate at the new Welland restaurant. The staff were very nice. It is a new restaurant so the kinks need to be worked out. We only waited 15 min for a table. Very clean and sanitized. 3 staff asked how our food was... it was delicious BUT it was cold. Every meal except the baked potatoes on our plate. All 4 meals. We didn’t say anything because it took over 45 min to get our food. We didn’t want them to make it over again. You can’t microwave it. We didn’t want them to remake it. If Chuck’s reads this I encourage them to really take this comment seriously because cold food is something I heard before from other locations. The food was delicious and the portions were excellent for the price. I would just review why meals are going out warm or literally cold.

We went there for Father's Day this past weekend. Due to covid it was all outdoor eating. We ordered our food to go. It was dead outside, only 3 tables being served when we got there. We placed our order (cheeseburger and fries and nachos) we asked that there be no garnish on the burger and we were told that mustard and relish would be on the side to put on ourselves. Perfect! We were told the food would be ready in 20 minutes. We came back to pick it up and waited over 45 minutes for the food. When we stopped to eat there was no condiments for the burger except ketsup and the nachos were ice cold, the cheese wasnt even melted. We will never go back to this location. Very disappointed!!

My husband and I ate at your place and had the worst experience. We ordered the lobster dinner and the lobsters were tough the fries cold. Corn soggy and cold the butter for dipping was not butter but water and lemon. We did not send it back tried to eat it. We told our waitress it was awful we tried to speak to the manager but she came out very defensive and she did everything but called liars when we complained. The only reason I am giving it a star was because of how nice the server was. We went to try it as a family this past weekend. It was quiet and the server was quick with our drinks. The food is disgusting. I got the burger and fries; fries were soggy and burger was okay. My father in law got the salmon and it was an embarrassing meal. He got a tiny piece of fish (approx 3 inch's by an inch) and a tiny bowl of salad (that was slimy and looked like bagged salad from the store). Others at our table got the loaded fries which were nothing in comparison to road House (down the road) and the buffalo chicken sandwich. I would not recommend this place to anyone and I don't plan on returning anytime soon. Do yourself a favor and go to Boston pizza or road House.

DISAPPOINTING. We were a party of 6, we were told could have salad instead of fries , no mention was made of the extra charge. One if us took salad and asked if could have fries anyway, the waitress charged extra for salad upgrade instead of fries then charged additional for fries! The parties that had the roast beef were very pleased. The ribs also, however the mushroom melt burger was badly charred, the cheese hard and never melted, and my expectations had anticipated more mushrooms. Don't anticipate returning.

This was my first experience at this restaurant. Being new it was very busy. Understandably, I expected to wait for the order to arrive. It did. After we had sat for 2 hrs. The front of house staff did their best to accommodate. The kitchen was totally overwhelmed and that showed in the meal. For two people we had 3 apps and a soup/salad combo and sandwich with fries. Other tables with more guests around us which came and sat after us were served and gone before us. Hopefully the kitchen staff will be able to work out the kinks and tighten things up. I might be inclined to revisit and reevaluate this place in future.

I need to make a complaint about our meal. My friend decided decided to take me out, for what was supposed to be a delicious meal to celebrate my belated birthday,so I made a reservation for 7pm Sat night. We placed our order and it took forever to bring our utensils then we were told by a guy that he was going to get our salad and he disappeared, never to be heard from again. I told our reg server that we hadn't got our salads and she said, "Oh I thought I brought them out." I told her no and to cancel them now, cause we were almost done our meal. My steak was very small. I didn't know it came in such small sizes. My lobster wasn't even hot by the time we got our cutlery. Well I doubt we will be returning any time soon. We were very disappointed and it was not a good experience at all, like we had hoped. I heard back from the manager of this place with a lame apology and then a promise of a $30 voucher if I sent him my email. I emailed him 3 times in total and he never did send it. I guess this how he does business. Oh well.

We JUST got home from Chuck's Roadhouse in Fort Erie, ON on Garrison road where we have been a few times in the past. The very first time we went there our server, food and overall experience was GREAT. Since then, we have encountered a lot of inconsistencies with the food and service. Tonight while our steak (ordered medium rare and received a bit on the rarer side) was very good, all of our fries were cold and dry (even our 10 and 5 year old boys didn't want their fries. Not even with ketchup/vinegar) the sides of corn on the cob were not grilled, but cold and squishy/soggy. My husband ordered the steak and lobster tail, and the lobster was puny and overcooked/rubbery). While our server was friendly, she didn't properly introduce herself or tell us her name, was dressed quite frumpy and her hair looked as if it hadn't been brushed in a couple days. We saw her a total of 4 times throughout our meal and had to flag her down 3 of those times. We had to ask for side plates, napkins, utensils and condiments as our meals were later brought to us by another staff member and we had nothing to eat them with. My husband's beer was cold, but flat as well, and his 2nd out of 2 glasses we had to ask the staff member who brought us our cutlery and plates etc for because our server was nowhere in sight and had forgotten about it. The past few times we were at any Chuck's location it was the location in Niagara Falls, ON where the food, service and experiences have been great every time. We went to the Niagara Falls location earlier tonight, but decided to go to the Fort Erie location because being a Friday night the Niagara Falls location was packed and would have had at least a 30 minute wait. We should have just waited the 30 minutes. We will NOT be dining at Chuck's in Fort Erie again.

The woman was super rude and they told me I had to leave the restaurant or sit in another room alone, away from everyone. PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS RESTAURANT !!!! My Boyfriend and I went here last Saturday evening to have dinner, we were celebrating our anniversary. WE GOT FOOD POISONING!!!!! It's the only place we ate, the only thing we consumed that our child didn't. He did not get sick.... And nobody in our lives has been sick either. I spent a day in the hospital, and it was confirmed that we had food poisoning. I called to make a complaint and notify them that they gave us food poisoning so that this won't happen to anyone else. The girl who answered the phone was polite and apologetic. She said she was passing me to the manager. The manager came to the phone and he didn't handle the situation right at all. He was rude to me and said ...I'm sorry, that happened to you, but there's nothing I can do for you. He told me I shouldn't be calling the restaurant... If I had a problem I should call the health and safety board... Never once did I ask him for anything... I definitely don't want to eat there again. I wasn't asking to eat there again for free.... He treated me like the only reason I was complaining was to get something out of it... I wanted to notify them of the situation and maybe they should take a look at safer food handling. But if you had good customer service you should voluntarily reimburse the customer for the meal... You handled it terribly. I will never eat here's again, and nobody else should either.. Pretty confident the steak was much less weight than advertised. Like probably close to 7-8oz when it was supposed to be 12oz. I would be shocked if the painter of bone weighed 4-5 oz. It tasted great but there was absolutely not a chance it was as advertised. I just went back to read the menu to make sure. It also mentioned it was thick. I wouldn't call 15mm thick for a steak. The fish was tasty but lukewarm when it arrived. The corn on the cob tasted pretty bland and rubbery. We were in a time crunch and it already took a while so we didn't say anything. Cesar Salad was tasty and the water was alright.

Went on opening night with a male and sat at the bar. Bar seats were cushioned rather than hard wood/metal - which I appreciated! Tenderloin was perfectly cooked, hot and tender, with excellent flavour. I was very disappointed with the washroom which was not updated and smelled of sewer. Doors did not lock. I returned a week later with a female friend and even with physical distancing in place, there was space at the bar since a group had just left. The waitress cleaned it off for us and as we were waiting, another staff informed us that we were not going to be allowed to sit there and that we needed to sit at a table. My feeling is that we didn't look like heavy drinking males therefore no bar access for us 2 girls. I will see if I'm 'allowed' to sit at the bar when I return with a male! The music was a bit too loud. I'd like to go back but not if I'm told where to sit. My 3 star rating is based on the seating issue and gross washroom.

I went here last weekend with a group of people and we thought we would have to wait long but we got seated right away. Everyone thought our dinners were excellent. Some of us were unsure about what to order but the waitress helped us by making some suggestions and asking us what kinds of things we like. The chicken quesadilla was fantastic and my friend loved her french onion soup. The waitress was extremely friendly and attentive and was refilling our drinks without us even having to ask. She was very patient with my indecisive daughter and helped her pick a kids meal too. It's rare to get a waitress that actually cares about the guests. I don't remember her name but she said she teaches french at pierre eliott trudeau here in town. I will be coming back for the great prices and excellent service! Yumm

So my family and I were visiting from out of town and wanted to have a nice dinner. Big mistake, The Steak we got was extremely dry. The Lobster was not cooked properly and was very tasteless. I actually dipped my lobster in the BBq sauce to add flavor (that didnt work) The "BBQ" Chicken was boiled and drowned into barbecue sauce. Ewww! The presentation of the food was very poor. And to make matters worse, the servers didn't ask us if we enjoyed our meals eventhough most of it was left on our plates. She just took our payment and walked away. One star for the cleanliness of the parking lot!

I came in on Wednesday night with my two buddies for ribs and beer and was served by a new girl. In terms of staff and service it has definitely improved over the 2 years it has been open. While writing my review I was Reading other recent reviews…. I’ve noticed there have been a few targeting service and timing… HELLLOOO it’s COVID!!! it’s hard everywhere. If any of you writing a negative review about time and it’s taking longer then you don’t read the news. Everywhere is super understaffed or has had to hire new staff and they’re trying their best. Anyone who writes a bad review about service right now is a rude human being. I noticed there was an issue for example with a different table while I was there…the supervisor on went over promptly, apologized and fixed everything for them right away and they were happy! Mistakes happen… Every time I’ve been in and if I’ve overheard or noticed a mistake the one young supervisor girl that I’ve noticed always comes out and makes sure the customers leave happy. If you get a discount or get your food fixed don’t leave a bad review GOODNESS. There are 2 girls I’ve been served there many times who are always lovely, the one girl Sarah and the supervisor I’ve mentioned up there… I however had a new server on Wednesday who was a little rocky but overall very nice. Even though it did take a minute longer than it should have to be served the food was great regardless (the ribs were more tender than usual hope it stays that way it was great! ($12!!!))… sad they aren’t offering mashed potatoes or garden salad anymore :((

Ordered two t-bone steaks medium. One with fries and the other with a side Caesar salad. One steak was excellent the other was thinner, well done and tough. The fries were terrible and not even edible with ketchup. The side Caesar salad came complete with a long black hair in it. The rye and ginger with no ice came with ice in it. We were offered another steak or a free desert. Since we were nearly finished the meal, there was no point in getting another steak. But after the hair in the salad, we both lost appetite and declined the desert. The waitress was apologetic but her manager only offered the two choices and no reduction in the bill. Guess who won't be going back to Chuck's Roadhouse.

Good food with good prices but they cannot follow simple instructions or get there own menu correct. They are now 1 for 4 in order correctness. We’ve only ordered through Skip so far which only offers a very simplistic menu compared to the actual menu. This last time they completely missed an entire meal and screwed up the other 3 meals and wouldn’t correct the issue. Instead they left me to deal with Skip. Any other time this has happened with other places the restaurant gets Skip to come back and get the missed meal. We had dinner at Chuck's a few days ago. It was our first time there since we are from out of town. The service was excellent ! Our server was so friendly and welcoming. The food was also delicious! I had the AAA and it was soft and juicy.We will definitely be going back. ????????????????

I came here after 9pm for the half apps. The wings were good and crispy, we also got the spinach dip and it was so good. That we ordered another one. The service was great and I will be back very soon with friends.

Love the place love the food love the prices but by far the worst service I have had in a very long time. I am not one to complain but I didn't even leave a tip. Felt very bad. And it's not just one waitress

The waitress ruined the experience for us completely. I do not know if this location is understaffed or if they just do not care enough but we waited extremely long for each process of the restaurant experience (Ordering food, waiting on food, waiting for assistance, and waiting for the bill) I can see other tables around me thinking the exact same thing. Not only that but no apologies for the wait or messing up our order (coke was flat and no guacamole with our nachos) Just wish they can improve since we live so close.

Had a great experience at Chuck’s road house recently. Our server Madie was excellent, personable, on top of things we never had to track her down, great personality it made for a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back to Chuck’s.

The food was good and the price is reasonable. The $25 steak and lobster deal can't be beat. The selection of beers on top was respectable. Service was a little slow but with covid all of the restaurants are understaffed. Our server was really nice. It would have been nice if they could put on the Raptor game, I asked three times and they tried for 15 minutes before giving up. Not sure what the problem was.

Awesome food. Fantastic service. They also did an amazing job on the renovations. If anyone in welland is looking for a great roadhouse with affordable prices, look no further. Their smokehouse burger is absolutely mouthwatering delicious. The spinach and goat cheese dip is one of the best things I’ve ever had. Their beer is also half the price of the other roadhouses in Welland.

This was my first time here. Nice casual eating place, lots of big screens showing various sports, clean , quick polite service and very good tasting burger and fries meal. Excellent prices. $6 to $7 dollar range. Definately a place that I will go back to so I can try other items on their menu.

All the drinks I wanted, they didn't have. The food I ordered was chicken fingers and they were so bad that I didn't eat them cause you could'nt taste the chicken, it was very dry. You have lobster on the menu but no shrimp... your restaurant sucks. That was my first time and the very last time to go there. You don't deserve the one star I gave you. There should be 0 star spot.
