Another review said this place want horrible but they wouldn't go out of their way for it. That pretty much sums up my experience. The food was okay, but not great. The service was similarly okay but not great. I wouldn't recommend it but I wouldn't tell you to avoid it either.

Can’t say enough good enough about Riverside. Staff were great. Menu has lots of variety. Everything we had was hot and tasty and came out quickly. Turkey soup and chowder were especially good. We’ll be back.

I've had better. Had the moose burger but it was tiny and dry. Server wasn't exactly friendly. My brothers fish was also a little dry. Not horrible but I wouldn't go out of my way for it.

First time visit, but will definitely be back. The parking lot was more than half full on a Sunday around 1pm, which is always a good sign. The service, food, and prices were all very good. ???????? Nice to check out somewhere different that's not a franchise and same-old, same-old. They even had moose burgers on the menu. Charming service!

Just stopped for ice cream this trip but good selection and generous portions. Love that there is a outside order window for ice cream treats. Restaurant was busy which is an indication it's a good place to eat, added to a well kept up patio and building made us put this place on our next place to eat when next in the area.

This place is amazing! From service to food we had the best experience. They were kind enough to let my husband and I in for a bite to eat as they were closing and we couldn’t have been more grateful for the delicious cod tongues, hot Turkey sandwich, and a delicious trucker special! You’re gonna love this place! Oh and don’t forget to try the blueberry cheesecake! It was AMAZING!

Considering there are not many options in the area, this place was acceptable. Be warned, this is not a place for a quick meal, even though they only serve low quality food. Service was very slow, there were enough servers, but either this is a sleepy town, or their just getting used to working again. Either way, I definitely don't hold it against them. I ordered nachos w ground moose. The moose itself was fine, but they put cheese, and all the toppings in one spot, like it was scooped out of something and placed in the center of the chips. Most of the chips were stale, all the yellow chips were stale, the red, and blue ones were fine. I suspect those came from a different bag. None of it was warm, although the cheese was melted at some point. It was like they took it out of the oven and forgot about it for awhile. Idk I was hungry, and love nachos, but this was gross.

Classic Newfoundland eatery with a little extra! Good daily menu deals. Sit on the patio for a nice view of the ocean. Great pricing. Always stop here when going on a day trip down the shore. Staff are super friendly. This spot features a restaurant, bar, patio, and mini convenience store.

I have become fond of this unpretentious gem just of the main road. Service is always pleasant and the food is plentiful and fresh. The seafood chowder is a standout, but I or a companion have had at various times fish and chips, burgers and hot turkey sandwiches with no complaints. Bring an appetite!
