I don't review often; I can't help myself here. This is the best Italian restaurant in Ontario. We had the Calamari Alla Griglia, Tortelli di Margo, and the Tiramisu. Authentic. Indulgent. Balanced. Go, you will be pleased with your decision.

Quaint little authentic Italian Restaurant in the South-Eadt corner of Burnhamthorpe & Dundas. Portions are generous, fair prices. Food tastes excellent - my wife had the Fresh Seafood with Pasta and i had the Spaghettini with Meatballs. The soup of the day was Salmon Chowder and was hearty. Excellent Customer Service from Vince. Even though we showed up with a voucher from Groupon - his service was friendly from start to finish.

After a wonderful special birthday dinner with my family last fall, I requested Sorsi e Morsi for my retirement luncheon. Vince's attentive and respectful hospitality, delicious food and quality ingredients make this a place to celebrate! Love the veal scallopini! It is great to see such dedicated restaurateurs succeed in the neighbourhood and it is especially wonderful to be able to walk here, have a few drinks and walk home!

I rarely write reviews but my kids asked me to give this restaurant 100 stars! We ordered take out, my 3yr old devoured his seafood pasta, the spinach ricotta ravioli was to die for and the pizzas were amazing. I had called last minute to change my order to a pick up order instead of a delivery and it was clearly a huge hassle for the restaurant as they had to deal with doordash but they were extremely nice and courteous about it. Will definitely be ordering here again and we look forward to being in person customers in the near future :)

Good pastas here. I had a sausage penne that I would order again. One of us had a pasta with pancetta that was also good. The steak was really good and cooked properly. Service was nice. It can get loud for tables close to the kitchen where orders are yelled out.

What an amazing addition to the neighbourhood! We had a birthday dinner planned, I miscounted and the restaurant was full. Without a moment of hesitation they moved everything around to accommodate us, without complaint. They were so attentive, warm and wonderful. A true family environment. The food was absolutely delicious and not just the pasta - the sea bass (which is really tricky) was divine. The whole experience was just perfect. I cannot recommend Sorsi e Morsi enough. They made our night and I cannot wait to go back.

We've been 2x now with our infant son, Amazing restaurant with the kindest, most accommodating staff who care and really make you feel like a guest in their home. The pizzas are the absolute best in the city. My only wish is that corkage was a little lower than $25 as we are a bit picky on wine and there were limited French wines. That's minor as the people, food, location and atmosphere all excellent and we will return and highly recommend.

A small lovely cozy Italian place. Food are excellent. Good presentation, right potion. Services are very friendly. We went with 10 ppl group with 3 bottle, some desert, come out around 70$ per person. Price are fair. Tiramisu is excellent. I ordered grilled sea bass cook to perfection. My college ordered various dishes everyone loves their food. Tips: decent amount of free parking at back. There are some street parking as well.

This is my favourite restaurant in the entire world. I go to the restaurant 1-2 times a month (sometimes more) for about 1 year. Not only is the food real traditional italian food with lots of flavour, a big part of why I come is the service. Vince the owner puts a huge emphasis on customer service and has taken the time to say hi every time I visit and have a chat. The waitresses all are amazing and have an outgoing vibe which is perfect. Thanks to this restaurant for making family gatherings special, birthday partys a celebration and eating out a fun event! My wife and I went here for dinner last night and had a wonderful evening. We had heard about Sorsi e Morsi through family members who had been there recently and recommended it. To start, there was no problem with parking in the lot behind the restaurant just off of Burnamthorpe. We were greeted by one of the wait staff, Megan, who looked after us for the evening. She knew the menu well and had very helpful suggestions which we appreciated. Her attentiveness and friendly approach only added to what was a very enjoyable evening. The food was fantastic and the atmosphere friendly and welcoming. We met the owners, Rocco and Vince who came by the table to ensure we were enjoying our meal. I would highly recommend Sorsi e Morsi.

We ate at this restaurant before the pandemic closure and have continued with their delivery option. It's superb! The food is excellent and the service is exceptional. One of my favourite Italian spots in the city - the food is excellent and staff amazing. David was our server, who was very friendly and polite. This is a food only review based on take out. I hve eaten at most Italian places in the GTA. And this place did not disappoint. Easily some of the best, well crafted Italian food in the city. The stuffed pastas (ravioli, tortelli , etc) were made in house and you could taste every drop of quality. Take a look at the photos. But with the flavour profile of the meatballs (top 5 in the city), the robust red sauce and delicate pasta, I can assume anything on the menu won’t disappoint. Look forward to going in person. Recommend take out for sure. Pizza got a quick reheat in the oven and it tasted perfect. Also got the panna cotta but not photo. Came with blueberry topping. 4.6 / 5 well deserved.

My husband couldn't stop raving about them. We got pizza, pasta, an dessert everything was delicious, fresh and cooked perfectly. We we're well taken care of entire dinner, staff very friendly. This is my second time here, love this place. The first time I was here I wasn't dressed appropriately, and despite that I was welcomed regardless. I thought the service was excellent and the food was very, very good. It was a very memorable experience overall. I'm sitting in the restaurant as I'm writing this review. I'm having the same experience as the first time (and I'm dressed appropriately this time). The bread is amazing, we had to have seconds. The food is again excellent. Amazing service! You must experience it to understand it.

The food and service were excellent. I'd like to suggest that they clean their widows every day before opening though. How dirty they were really jumped out at us when we walked in. Also the patio needs some serious TLC...some chain lights, hedges along the back, and a general creative touch could make a really nice space.

5 meals were ordered for delivery from Skip The Dishes. This restaurant may be better in person in the actual dining room, but I can confidently say that the delivery experience was not enjoyable. One entire meal, a margherita pizza, was entirely forgotten in the order. A salad (photo attached) that cost $15 was no where near worth $15. There were ingredients missing, and not a lot of salad in the container. Way more would have been able to fit in there, and for the price you would expect way more as well. It was advertised as a “meal”, and was certainly not enough for that. The pastas didn’t taste very good, for the price and the appearance of the restaurant you would expect that they would be higher quality. We could have gotten a more enjoyable tasting pasta, and full on meal from East Side Mario’s, Boston Pizza, or any other “Italian food” chain restaurant. All in all, I wouldn’t recommend trying delivery from this restaurant.

Sorsi e Morsi is a family owned and operated. Seving up pretty great Italian cuisine with a friendly and professional staff. Our party enjoyed the Fresh Pasta, Risotto and Meatballs. We really enjoyed the complementary bread and olive oil with balsamic vinegar. On the downside, the swordfish was a bit spicy and probably over seasoned. The prosciutto and Mozzarella was pretty good, but I expected the cheese to be warm and more flavourful like they have at Scaddabush, which serves it fresh daily and with a variety of dialing sauces. This is a higher end restaurant so it should expect to spend more. We arrived without reservations as they had a busy night, but they were able to accomidate by pushing two smaller tables together for our party of 4. Food came out fairly promptly considering they had a lot of customers. Best wishes.

Food was very good, portions just right and flavors complex and unique. Enjoyed the meal very much. Prices reasonable. Traditional Italian fare with some unique character. Location was cute, a bit small and noisy so not ideal if you want a quiet calm atmosphere, but willing to accept in light of food. Lighting in the restaurant a bit off, dark in some spots and annoying near the window due to street lighting and activity. Parking is free on the street in the evening which is a plus. Service was consistent and attentive. We went for our 5th anniversary...I was a bit disappointed that they did not do a little something special for us, a shot or small dessert. They were aware of this, but I feel they dropped the ball on that. Could've gone anywhere for that special occasion and got a bit of preferential service - but not here unfortunately. May try again for food, but was a bit turned off by that. Having said that, the owner was very polite and appreciative, a nice personal touch to the service.

Loved this place. Went for the first time last night. Everything that we ordered was exceptional. We both had appetizers, my boyfriend had the sea bass for his main and I had the rack of lamb. If you still have room we had the cheesecake which also was amazing. The staff was very friendly and make sure you are very happy with everything. Will be back for sure.

Dinner for 3 produced 3 remarkable meals, plus one shared dessert and a shared starter - all 5 were simply delicious. Pasta, a risotto, Chilean sea bass and the accompanying veggies were all perfection. Attentive owner and staff - a perfect evening. Then you discover the Il Posto connection and go "ah... now I get it... " Highly recommended.

You better make reservations here! The food is great and people know it, so this smaller restaurant is packed with a line often out the door. This is a lovely Italian restaurant with just the right mix of incredible authentic fresh Italian food, quaint atmosphere and incredible service. There was nothing to complain about and we loved it so much we went back one week later !! Highly recommend if you have not tried it yet!

I had a reservation for myself and my daughter tonight. We were welcomed at the door by the owner Vince and he made us feel very welcome. Our server David was awesome and made excellent suggestions for our meal. He checked in on us multiple times to make sure our experience was perfect. We had a great time, this restaurant really is a neighborhood gem like the other reviews say! Check this place out, you won't be disappointed! Ps, try the chocolate torte! Very indulgent! ????

Wonderful friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Nice menu choices. I ordered the veal sandwich and thoroughly enjoyed it. In my humble opinion it was one of the best I've had because the veal was very nicely grilled as opposed to being heavily breaded. I would love to go back to this restaurant and recommend it.
