Great place to visit for lunch. Came here last Friday, had casablanca salad and chicken shawarma. Everything was delicious, very friendly staff. My friend had chicken bastilla and I didnt try any because she didnt want to share - it was so yummy. I will be back for sure!

Absolutely incredible Moroccan experience! The owner is incredibly friendly and gracious! We enjoyed a lamb tagine with their homemade hot sauce. He generously gave us a dessert to go with our tea and coffee which was the perfect ending to this scrumptious meal! Highly recommended and we will be back very soon!

Pathetic service, one of the waiter was so lazy and uninterested. It took them 15 minutes to take the order even with 3 busy tables in the restaurant. Food is below average, salad was not fresh, chicken wasn’t that great. It took them 30 minutes to prepare a chicken kabob. Waiters were not clean, putting hands all over their nose and face. One of them was not even wearing plastic gloves for food platting. All in all very disappointing and HIGHLY not recommended!

My experience with my wife and 5friends in Morocco House was one of the best event that I had in my life, especially my wife is moroccan and we have a chance to visit this place variation occasion, and I can see that was the best moroccan food in Toronto. The food test authentic, every dish has parfect tense flavour and the meat fall from the bone. We got Harira soup for the appetiser and Bastilla too was so amazing, then we had chicken tagine, lamp tagine ,kofta tagine and Royal Couscous, with beef and chicken, all those things was for sharing. For me the was the same flavour as in Morocco and we asked the manager / Chef for the spices, everything import from Morocco. The food was so delicious and this place doesn't has the laker license then we changed to Moroccan tea pot with fresh mint was the killer. Thanks morocco house and definitely we are coming back for more.

Yesterday night was my brother's birthday, we went to Morocco House to do a small birthday party ! The atmosphere was so Authentic and traditional Moroccan place . However we started with appetizers , shakshouka , Zaalouk were so delicious , after that we got multiple Tagines, lamp , chicken and Kofta. The taste was so amazing and yummy ! After that we were curious about the couscous , then we had the Royal Couscous with Chiken and lamp , such a good food and so great experience that we had last night , lot of fun and the staff were so lovely they sang a happy birthday song to my Brother and the owner invited us for Pot of tea ! We really enjoyed the moment , and we really want to come and visit the place again ! I would recommend u guys to visit it ! Wont regret it trust me . Thank you Morocco House for the lovely service ! Morocco house is the best Arabian restaurant in Toronto. Two days ago we had a speciale party for 13 people, the food was so incredible and delicious, especially tagine and couscous, the owner is very talented, good staff and friendly. My advice for you guys is to go and and visits this restaurant had so many delicious food. We are really appreciate for what this restaurant done for us. Don't forget the moroccan tea and moroccan cookies after the meal. Love x

This place is a big scam .. I went the other day to have Royal Coscous and honestly the chicken and vegetables were rotten and this is a clear cheating and health inspectors should go so often to check this garbage place .. all of the positive reviews in here are false ones and owners asked his family and friends to write them . I do not see this Rotten place lasting long .

We were 10 work colleagues that went to this place during lunch to celebrate my birthday. On the outside the resto was not very apppealing, however on the inside it felt cozy and the feeling of actually being in Morocco. The resto was pretty much empty. They told us to sit wherever we wanted, so we chose in the front next to the entrance. It was a bad idea cause the front door was not isolated that well and the cold breeze was coming in often. Anyhow, the owner came to greet us and took the orders. They served Moroccan tea to everyone, which was a sweet, but enjoyable to some. 30 mins later they brought out 2 meals, 10 mins later they brout out 4 meals, 10 mins after another 2 meals, and me and another colleague had to wait another 20-30 mins for our meal. They must have forgotten about us. When 2 of my colleagues went to complain, they acted confuse. The meal was tasty, however it did not look like the picture and i dont think it was the one i ordered. It was a $20 meal! I was not going to wait another 20-30 mins for another meal. When it was time to pay, the waitress wanted to put it under 1 bill. However, when we asked for individual bills, she had a panic attack. I am a strong supporter of mom and pop businesses. Service is as much important as the meal itself. You need both to run a good business, otherwise people will continue to flock to big chain businesses which are excellent in providing both.

I came to canada from brazil to see my family. It was my first time ever eating moroccan food. I had the lamb tajine and the hrera soup which was delicious, . I highly recommend this place. The moroccan theme in the restuant is gorgeous. Absolutley stunning.

Must try ! On our way to the West mall, we decided to stop by this little restaurant. It looks like nothing much from the outside, but the food is delicious. The tea is sweet, the chicken kebab is tender,juicy and flavourful, and the tagine is authentic. Be aware that they cook everything fresh, so plan some extra time if you order the tagines. They also do catering for events and deliveries. The owner will give you personalized catering. If you like paramount, you will be in food heaven at this location.

Words cannot describe how good this place was!! The food was absolutely amazing; so flavourful and tasty! Definitely recommend the Harira soup and the Shakshuka to start, both were super fresh and tangy! As for entrees, the Merguez (Moroccan lamb sausage), The Lamb with Prunes tagine, and the Chicken Tfaya Couscous are definite must tries! All these dishes were so flavoursome and not to mention, very appetizing to the eye! Presentation was wonderful. The Moroccan tea and coffee were both delicious as well. The owner here is a real family man. He treats all his customers like family and made us feel right at home. If you're ever in the Etobicoke region or craving something home cooked, Morocco House is the place to go!

I’m Goan and I came to this restaurant, as I really wanted to try Moroccan food. Already a few times. As the service was great and the food was really tasty and made fresh. That’s what brought me back. The first time I came to the Moroccan house, I tried their Chicken Shawarma Wrap, the special which was reasonably priced $8.99 + tax which comes with fries and and a soft drink. I also tried the beef Shawarma wrap, both were delicious and filled with fresh vegetables. All their dishes are home made. The Moroccan House has some really great dishes. The other dish I tried was the Lamb Shank Plate, for people that know what biryani taste like it reminds me of that, the lamb was so tender and falls off the bone, the flavours were amazing. It came with a side salad. Not to spicy, which is good. Planning to come back to try more of the great food.

While I'm far from knowledgeable on Moroccan cuisine, to me this seems like the real deal. And very tasty things come out of those tagines! Moroccan lanterns and decor create a special ambiance, and the owner and staff make you feel very welcome.

I really don’t believe it. Moroccan Tajine with canned food. No taste at all with 3 very dried prunes. The Harira was terrible, the owner has the guts of telling me his cuisine is the best. It showed me that he never went to a real moroccan restaurant and he never enjoyed a real Moroccan Cuisine. It’s a SHAME! I don’t recommend this restaurant to anyone specially to those who know what a moroccan cuisine is. One star is even to much!

The food at this place is amazing! If this is what Moroccan food tastes like in Toronto then Morocco is my next destination on my travel list. Already craving food from Morocco House again. I ordered the beet salad with my meal and I literally could not stop thinking about it and I tried making it at home. Almost the same but I would have to go back to this restaurant to be completely satisfied. The staff were so friendly and polite. Great smiles! Will be back with way more friends.

Ordered a lemon chicken tagine and instead they gave me lamb. Probably misheard me saying lamb instead of lemon. When the dish came out they also forgot the bread. Pulled out the bread after we finished our meal. They gave us free desert to make up for the service. Not bad but disappointed as it's our first time trying Moraccan food in this neighbourhood.

Either the owner pays for reviews or people truly dont know good food. Good service, awesome decor and vibe. The food is bland, clearly microwaved and not even homemade pita. Store bought. For the price you pay you would at least expect homemade. 2 star for service and decor but other than that, the food is mediocre. Avoid if you want authentic Moroccan food.

Food was delicious. We had the Moroccan Lemon Chicken Tagine, Tikka Kebab, Chicken Tfaya Couscous, and Kofta Tagine. All were so good, all are recommended! Especially their Moroccan tea - so good! Service was pretty good. Their staff were very friendly. Their chef came out to chat with their customers while they didn't need to cook and chatted about Moroccan spices and etc. Very friendly indeed! Their restaurant is a bit difficult to get to, if you're coming off the highway. They're in a tiny plaza, easier to get to via Evans and then turning to Brown's Line as it's just before the merge. Only thing I have is that their website is not true to their interior decor, as it is not the photo of their restaurant. But their actual restaurant is very nice and accessible.

Writing this review from Rajahi's account. Morocco House was amazing! Went there today and everything was delicious from the tea, to the main course meal and the dessert. We both got chicken platters and the chicken kebab platter was excellent. Generous portion sizes and good prices. 10/10 recommend this place! It feels like Morocco. Will be coming here more often and sharing our amazing experience with our friends and family. The place has amazing and beautiful decor and furniture, and the owner/server is extremely kind, helpful, generous and provided great service and hospitality. You will not regret coming here! What a lovely place for a meal. The food was authentic and tasted absolutely fantastic. I tried the Lemon Chicken, Lamb with Prunes and best of all, the Chicken Bastilla. They were all wonderful, particularly the Bastilla. The Moroccon Tea was fantastic, and served traditionally. The chef/owner made a point of visiting all of the tables to check in; he is extremely friendly and clearly takes pride in his craft. I would absolutely go back to Morocco House and would suggest it to anyone.

Wonderful secret hidden gem. Focus is on the food and it was incredible. Started with the AL Bahia Trio - Which was 3 appetizers.. Hummus, Eggplant, Shakshula. Wow. The hummus was delicious and I polished it all off. Incredibly fresh. The grilled eggplant was like babagnoush but better. It was grilled over charcoal so the taste was excellent. Main dish was the Lamb tagine and it was fall off the bones delicious. Expertly seasoned and a medley of delicious linfused flavours. Also had the chicken kabon and it was also delicious. Done over charcoal and accompanied with a salad. Excellent. The green mint tea was also delicious and helped to cleanse the palate. But more importantly it settled my tummy after extraordinarily pigging out. Would highly recommend. Will come back.

Not an authentic food after visiting morocco few times.Owner Ibrahim is not an honest person .Ordered 6 tajines and 2 cuscus salads.Paid 160.00 dollars.Better to cook at home.Order tajine spice on Amazon.Slow cooking at home. Replaced Cuscus salads with rice and lettuce and basic vegetables. Paid extra for cuscus and he cheated and never replaced and no answer to phone calls.He is typical manipulator of middle east.Egyptian cargo taxi drivers to moroccon merchants.Not straight forward and cheaters First and last time to dine in this restaurant. I came here with some friends since they reopened after Covid. The owner Ibrahim is such a wonderful, kind, and pleasant man. He really makes you feel welcome. I have brought my friends twice here in order to eat Moroccan food and each time they have truly loved it. We had been waiting for them to open again. I lived in Morocco for some time and the food makes me feel like I am back in Morocco. Their Lamb&Prune Tajine is just spectacular, as are all their other tajines all of which I have tried now. The Royal Couscous was delicious, and the Moroccan Mint Tea was a beautiful way to end the meal. You will not regret your experience. This is the best Moroccan cuisine you will find in Toronto!

As amazing as the food looks, it tastes the very same. Do not get fooled just by the looks though.... a bit greasy yet pleasing. A loaf of bread on the side with some Moroccan mint tea brings a whole lot of feelings back. Feelings of home. The service, I would say is not the best but as soon as the food came. I think I had forgotten all about the service. Other than that, being a student the food isn’t the greatest price to pay but once in a blue moon a dinner date with friends can always be the best way to try our new food. If you haven’t I would suggest you go hop on the TTC and try it out.

The food taste bad and the bread is old . I waited for 10 minute and no body come to ask me if I want to order anything . I had to walk to the cash register myself to order something and the worse is that I had to wait 1 hour for my meal and it’s was not hot apparently my food setting in the kitchen. When I spoke with the manager he was rude he didn’t speak English.

Came here because of all the good reviews. We went close to closing time to pick up chicken tajine with bread and high expectations. Friendly service but coming home we were kind of dissapointed. The 'tajine bread' was pitta which we were charged for and there was a grilled lemon that I confused for pumpkin (very unfortunate) inside the tajine which tasted rather mediocre. Having paid 20 dollars for a small portion of chicken tajine with pitta bread, I wouldnt go back tbh

Reserved a table for 5 on a deadbeat Friday evening. Still the service was so slowly we had to make fun for it and almost started to forget why we were here in the first place. Started off with Shakshukah .. which is basically salsa dip with an omelette on it. It's an interesting combination. It tastes alright but nothing worth raving about. (2.5/5) Next we had the Chicken Bastilla.. This was probably the best dish we had all night. Ground chicken in a puff pastry look alike with almonds. Almost borderline between sweet and normal. Made me wish it was more sweeter. Still would give this a 3.5/5. After this we ended up just killing time for the next good 45 minutes with no water or the moroccan tea we ordered. (Ironically when the chef came to check on us in the end, he insisted the tea needed time to boil.. considering how a couple who came 20 min later than us had theirs within the next 10 minutes.) Eventually some time that evening, we got our main course - Lemon Chicken Tagine and the Chicken Couscous (without plates). The pita and moroccan bread looks like they had been out left in the cold for a bit. The moroccan bread would have definitely been great if it was warm! I imagined there would be more gravy in the lemon chicken but alas, it was just a mix of two drumsticks choking on a bed of peas. It was way too salty because of the olives. Oddly enough, I started to enjoy it towards the end of finishing it. I will give it a 3/5 at most. But noway will I pay $13 for such a thing again. The chicken couscous was much more filling and felt sweet. I would give it 3/5 as well. We ended up getting tea after constantly nudging the waiter who stumbled and fumbled all night long. 1.5hrs later, we end up with the much raved about Moroccan tea. Maybe after the bastilla, this was probably the best thing there. At the first glass, it felt a little too sweet for tea considering I generally take my tea black. But it started to grow on us and we enjoyed finishing up the entire pot. I would give this a 4/5. We had initially planned to try the plate of three pasty desserts. None of them looked special, so we skipped on it. The cashier/waiter apologised for the super slow service even on a dead night. But frankly speaking the food is average at the most. No radical oohs and aahs to any meal except maybe for the Chicken Bastilla. And I will never dine in ever again here. Maybe take out if I want something picked up next day or so. Seriously. Overall 2/5 experience.

First time trying Moroccan food, don't know if it's traditional or not but I do know it tasted amazing. I was eating even after I was full, almost passed out in a food coma. Owner is nice, place is cozy, do need a reservation now with COVID tho, so be prepared.

My experience with this place has been somewhat mysterious. My wife and I love Moroccan food and were eager to try it and after seeing positive reviews on Yelp we checked out their website and decided to go. The place wasn’t even open yet! We tried again over a period of a month and guessed that the Yelp reviews were bogus so we just forgot about the place. Just by chance we tried again on a Sat night, arriving around 6:30 pm we were surprised that the place was empty except for one other couple. We sat at one of the only clean tables and a kind lady came by and gave us menus. We walked out after trying to get somebody’s attention in the back, we could hear arguing which we found unsettling so we just left. I fear this is another establishment that doesn’t know how to operate on a day to day basis. If you try it I hope you have better luck than us!

Worst food experience I’ve had in my life you could see inside the kitchen and tiles are black and all food wasn’t covered and all the vegetables were going back and exposed. There was a dirty mop by the serving table and the worker slid cold rice in a container into the kitchen to be warmed up in a microwave I suggest no one tries this for regards of they’re own safety. I have had almost all their dishes and they all have that tentalizing taste of herbs and spices to complement their amazing dishes. The food at Morocco House is pretty good, tasty but I hope it's not the best Moroccan food in Toronto. It's not as good as the Walina Cafe used to be. The decor is quite good. Where Morocco House disappointed me was the service. I found our waiter inattentive and inaccurate. For a place that charges $20 for an entree I should be able to expect table service that rises above the level of a falafel lunch counter.

This is a place i'll definitely remember for the rest of my life as I had an amazing experience here! I went with a large group of friends and we pretty much ordered everything on the menu, from the starters to mains(except sandwiches/desserts). I don't know much about Moroccon food, but I can tell when the food is good, and boy was the food GOOD! FOOD: Everything we ordered was good, and flavourful. The highlight for me was probably Chicken Lemon Tagine, Chicken Bastilla and Lamb With prunes. Lemon Chicken Tagine($12) - Fall off the bone tender! intense flavour and large portions. This is something everybody would like, can't go wrong with ordering this one. Chicken Bastilla - Chicken stuffed crispy pastries, I have never seen it happening before, Chicken and pastry is like made for each other. Lamb with Prunes - I don't know how someone came up with this idea, but man was it a good idea. Again, something that sounds doesn't go together but the contrasting taste of lamb and prune was just PERFECT! I loved the Shakshouka from the starters, but we ordered pretty much everything else on the starter menu and everything else was pretty solid as well! The owner gave us desserts on the house and it was DELICIOUS!!! don't know the name of it sadly, and apparently the dessert menu is different every day. Location and Decor: Plaza appears to be uninviting and its a little harder to get into, it appears that there isn't a lot going on here so the place can easily be missed (hint - it's right after petro canada, google is wrong) However, what you wouldn't expect is such a great environment inside, it would make you forget that you're sitting in Canada! The place was decorated with Moroccon stuff, Owner was showing us the whole place and giving short stories about how he got everything from Morocco, including original paintings. Service: This is where the place lacks a little - service was extremely slow, there was a huge gap between starters and mains and we literally got hungry after finishing our starters and sitting for soo long. The place right now isn't equipped to deal with full house or a lot of people, as they are definitely under staffed. There was only one server and the rest was kitchen staff, and while the place may not need more than one server, that one server was also helping in the kitchen so there was technically nobody looking after the customers for a long time. I understand that this place is in it's infancy, so it will take some time to figure things out, and I hope they figure it out because it wouldn't be cool if people miss out on this place because of their slow service. TL;DR: Had an amazing experience, great ethnic food, lovely decor, very slow service. 10/10 would go again. P.S Everything is halal here.

Little Morocco finally arrived to Toronto! Indulge yourself in the authentic taste of couscous. Too many choices. Every couscous item is cooked differently. I went for the tfaya chicken couscous and it was delicious! Definitely going back to have the lamb couscous and a couple of tajines!! Yummm!

Very tasty food - we had a couple of tagine dishes (lamb and prune and the lemon chicken) and they were quite delicious. The hariri soup was good too. Good thing was that they provide pita with the soup for those who would like to eat some bread with the soup. Portion sizes were very small though for the price they charge. Also, the tagine indicated mixed vegetables but it was basically pea galore and nothing else! That was a bit of a downer. Good decor inside and decent seating capacity. Do not expect any service at the place though.

Service was slow as hell (from siting down to getting our food took about an hr with 3 other occupied tables) and food was way below average. Every dishes we had tasted like heated can food. You can clearly tell that, there were no dishes that was made with fresh ingredients. (except ????) I never had Moroccan food until I had Costco ready made Moroccan chicken(it was ????) and thought to try this place out... Cute little place we found in Etobicoke. The decor is very Moroccan and staff are friendly and welcoming. We were here for dinner and first time trying Moroccan cuisine. Im no expert on Moroccan food, but was throughly Impressed. And everything was delicious. We tried the trio of dips with some Pita bread. The dips were all tasty, but the pita was cold, which was a little disappointing. They have a very tasty hot sauce! For mains, we tried the falafel sandwich, chicken couscous and kofta Kabab. Al three were great and portion sizes were very generous. The food was tasty, not just your traditional middle eastern food, this is a little more flavourful and spiced up! Service was great, our waitress was very friendly and sweet. Overall a great spot for Moroccan food!

Today was very amazing day at Morocco House, I had an incredible dinner with family , me and my wife got two different tagines, one with beef and the other ch icken they were sooooo delicious and my kids got special marguez kebabs plate and lamb couscous was so authentic food. However we finished with the best moroccan tea pot and moroccan sweets . The owner was very welcoming guy and the workers are so friendly and lovely ! I would definitely be back to this beautiful authentic place ! Thanks Morocco house !

Disclaimer: We ordered the takeout and bringing food home and reheating it is not the same as having it in the restaurant. We ordered Chicken Bastilla, Lamb Couscous, Mergez Wrap, Harira Soup, and Msemen. Lamb couscous was very well made and the meat was perfectly seasoned and well cooked with veggies. Chicken Bastilla was ok, the filling was favorful but the wrap was not crisp perhaps it was packaged while still hot and hence soggy and falling apart. The Msemen was excellent as a dessert. The Harira was disappointing - too watery with few ingredients and tasted very strongly of red vinegar. Better off in just drinking hot water with the meal instead. Mergez wrap was ok but I had much better in GTA with a lot more fillings. Price was too high for the quality offered. There are few things that I may order again but perhaps a repeat visit is not warranted.

How can you serve people Days old food and on top of that falsely labeling it as authentic Moroccan food. I went to this place based on its name. I am from North Africa and wanted to check out the good old food I know of this part of the world. Wow, what a disappointment! We ordered the Bissara soup because they did not have the Harira. By the way this is on Daturday night. The Bissara soup had nothing to do with soup except the name. We knew right then that this is a joke but being open minded, we wanted to get the « 2nd corse » my wife asked for the falafel and I asked the waitress to give me whatever she thought is best. Se recommended the Lamb Tajine. Both dishes were in our opinion terrible. Completely tasteless! I am writing this review in such negative terms because I feel insulted for being served dishes that were made with no taste or style of any kind. The food has nothing to do with Morocco. I feel the owners are using the name of Morocco to give people the impression that the house serves Moroccan food. Sorry just plain trickery! I read the other reviews and honestly don’t believe those are honest reviews. They can’t be. The food is simply terrible.

My family and I arrived, visually everything made us excited to eat, but as soon as we placed our order, everything went downhill. Our food took almost an hour. One dish was forgotten. I saw the server check the register as a reminder of what was forgotten and stated that the “lamb sausage takes a bit longer it will only be 5 minutes.” The chicken dish was sent back as it was cold. 15 minutes later, the “forgotten” dish arrived with the warmed up chicken dish. To top it all off, my mom found a strand of hair in her food. When informing the server, he took it back and returned saying, “in my opinion, this is not from us. It must be one of you.” The dish went from the kitchen, to the middle of the table, where it did not move. After addressing the disrespectful comment, the chef furiously responded and walked away without hearing our concerns and simply dismissed us. No apology, nothing. .... I’ve been to Morocco... and it’s safe to say, you should go to Morocco instead of the Morocco House.

First not authentic morrocan food . My wife was was born and raised in Morocco . Second bland and horrible portion. Order lamb and appricote tagine. Got 4 lamb shank bones with a bit meat and a ton of fat. I asked why there was so much green beans and I was told they were doing me a favor because vegetables are expensive and if I didnt like it , he could save money by taking some off the plate.... yeah seriously. Pita was store bought. Pita pockets old. Third. Ordered chicken lemon tagine. Two drums tons of veggies. Bland as heck. Listen I'm in the restaraunt buisness I know how much chicken costs.... Last but not least. I dont know if he is the owner or the waiter. He was bragging to us how he stopped a fire in the kitchen after lighting a basket on fire on our table. Yes seriously .... then a costumer order food and he told her that if she has to wait in line for Tim hortons she can wait for his food. Seriously man horrible horrible service. Water ? Only after we asked 20 minutes after being seated. And it was warm. Guy didnt care to ask how the food was. It's almost like he was mad after my wife called him out on the food. Listen I've been to morrocan restaurant in ottawa gatineau montreal toronto quebec city and new York. This place was last on the list. I dont like writing bad reviews because again I'm in the restaraunt buisness my self. But I just spent 54 dollars and I just feel like I got ripped off.

This is one of the most delicious meals we have ever eaten. The menu is extensive and varied and caters for all tastes of Moroccan and Mediterranean cuisine. The Staff are lovely, very reasonable prices . We will certainly go back there .

As people who know Moroccan food this definitely did not live up to the expectations. The Moroccan mint tea is something else. From a Moroccan this restaurant should change their name. Not Moroccan food at all. Tagines had way too much oil in them and the soups were watery. We were served luke warm tea and it didn't even have standard Moroccan mint in it. When we sent it back it was just a tad bit hotter and the taste stayed the same. If you look for authentic Moroccan food this is NOT the place. Was disappointed.

My family and I came here for authentic Moroccan coffee, but it turns out the owners gave up on Canadians trying out the strong and properly prepared Moroccan/Turkish brew. I get it! But I wish they served us the real super strong coffee. Their pastries are great, try them. The prices are a bit high though.

I hosted a 12 person after work early dinner with coworkers and was not disappointed! The food was fresh, delicious and authentic! We ordered various small plates to share and main courses and finished it off with sweet mint tea and homemade deserts!! The chef and owner “Abraham” was super nice and welcoming! He offered us extra deserts on the house as a token of Moroccan hospitality. I would highly recommend Moroccco House to anyone that like Mediterranean cuisine. I highly do not recommend going here. The service was extremely slow. It took them one hour to bring us bread. They were short of staff and didn’t inform any of the patrons so everyone was waiting for food and service. The food wasn’t that great either.

Treated my family and friends for moroccon food for the first time. Didnt know what to expect as it was my first time . The whole experience was perfect and everyone was impressed. Staff treated us very kindly and invited us for free tea. Food was more than amazing . Would reccomend if you want to try authentic cuisines in a very chill atmosphere

I ordered take-out from here; got the Chicken Bastilla and Merguez (Lamb Sausage) plate. Gotta say I loved the Bastilla, it was like a sweet and savoury chicken pie with nuts. I thought the merguez sausages were just okay. A bit dry for my liking.

I came here for the first time a few months back, the customer service was great. Cashier seemed to be interested in having me come back as he offered me a mint tea on the house, which by the way was fantastic. I've had the chicken and beef shawarma. They are good however, the chicken is better. Another visit I got the chicken shawarma lunch special with fries. It was great however, my only complaint was that the amount of fries was way too little.. not exaggerating it was approx, 6 pieces of fries.

This was my third time at the restaurant, and will never go back. I ordered kofta tagine and received completely different meal, which I did not touch. The server did not check on our table until the very end, ignored the fact that I was not eating. Very disappointed with both the service and food quality. I visited when they were newly opened and the food was delicious, but not anymore.

Worst iftar i had at any restaurant. There iftar platter was a joke so I had to order chicken shwarma wrap on the side. They brought me beef shwarma wrap instead and even that was only half filled. Overall bad bad experience.

I was recommended by a friend to this place as they had good food, but I left disappointed with the service. The food was good, the service was atrocious with rude staff and unacceptable wait times, but most importantly I got FOOD POISONING and had to go to the hospital on my mother’s Bday, rather than spending it with her, I spent it at the hospital thanks to this place. Needless to say, I wouldn’t recommend this establishment. There are way better options in the GTA.

Morocco House is the worst restaurant I’ve ever been to. They do not serve Moroccan cuisine! I ordered: Lamb Couscous with veggies. They served a cold lamb couscous with very few veggies and Tfaya (Onions & dried raisins). WE DO NOT SERVE MIX VEGGIES WITH TFAYA. My friend ordered: Tagine with Lamb & dried plums, they served it but with the addition of green peas!!! THIS IS ONE OF THE SIGNATURE DISHES! HOW CAN YOU ADD INGREDIENTS THAT DO NOT EXIST IN ANY RECIPE ?! Even the Moroccan tea (which is a basic) was the worst and the glasses and tray were dirty. I will never ever go there or recommend it to anyone.

The manager is the rudest person I’ve encountered at a restaurant any where in the world and I am a world traveler. He moved me and my family twice after we sat down for no apparent reason. He lied and said that a bit party was coming and we sat down for approximately 55 minutes waiting for our food and no big party came. The food is poor quality. The portions are tiny for th amount of money we paid. The taste was not authentic Moroccan taste. The place didn’t smell the best. Overall, disgusting staff and extremely rude and offensive manager. Don’t go there. People can see your sick attitude and behavior in your comment. You continue to act strange in your response. You are a sick individual

I loved Morocco House! Every time we come in the owner is so friendly and welcoming! He takes great care and pride in his restaurant and all the dishes he brings out. The food is amazing, slow cooked to perfection and so delicious. For the tagines, the meat falls right off the bone ???? Lastly, the decoration creates a wonderful atmosphere and is very pleasing. My FIRST Moroccan food! The shashuka was spectacular. Lots of tomatoes, garlic and cilantro! With an egg on top. My only complaint is that the pita wasn't warmed up! Moroccan mint tea is soooo good! Next time I'll definitely be ordering a pot! I had the lamb tagine for dinner. The Lamb shank was fabulous... Fall off the bone tender. The music is fantastic... Very Latin! But not too loud, so you can still carry on a conversation! NO room for dessert . Maybe next time! Except. They gave me a piece of almond honey orange blossom cake....warmed up! OMG! And I bought some baklava to take home....I mean, why not!

Food is ok and the service was really bad. We were there for 2 hours and none of our food arrived at the same time! Some of us finished their meals before the other’s meals arrived!! Every other table was complaining about time too. A couple left because nobody came to get their order! They had a really hard time answering questions about the menu. The deserts we ordered were very bad quality. The owner was also aggressive with us so we do not recommend this place if you want to have a good time. The bill was very high for the bad quality and service.

Went to the Morocco House last Friday. Will definitely go back. They have a large selection of subs that I would not mind trying as a quick lunch. The food was delicious. There is no super fancy decor but instead, a nice, homey feel to it. Recently during my visit to this restaurant I had an unpleasant experience with not only the front of houses customer service but ESPECIALLY with management when I asked for compensation for my poorly prepared food. Not only was it served with an excruciating wait time of over 40 mins!!!! i found a hair and when I brought it to the owners attention he was so rude and un-helpful about the situation he yelled at me infront of other customers and wished to never serve me again all when I rightfully thought being unsatisfied with my meal and experience. Terrible experience, not worth your time and food not worth all the trouble. 0/10 yikes!!!

Went with colleagues last night. Waited for 2 hrs to get water after telling the waitress thrice. Ordered Beef Kebab...was too salty. Ordered Tagine, the bread came after the food was over. We waited an hour and a half just to get water. After two hours, we got luke warm food with bland taste. Other tables were getting wrong orders. We ended up just eating most of the bread. If planning to eat here, I'd recommend eating at home first or else you'll be hungry!

Worst service EVER ! First off we ordered soft drink and water which we didn’t get . After we followed up with the waiter we only got the coke and NO water Second I asked them about two menu item, which I didn’t get proper answer to. Third food is just okay nothing special , for the we paid , you can get decent food and SERVICE somewhere else Forth we waited for our bill for at least 30 minutes , every time the waiter passed by , he completely ignored us and avoided eye contact. Went there at 3:30 pm on a weekday and we were the only ones there. Service was painfully slow. Food was authentic and fairly tasty, not amazing. A little disappointed that with my beef tajen they have me some pita bread that didn't taste fresh, I would expect fresh warm bread.

First time, in this area. I like to try new food from other cultures. I saw the Moroccan house, with my family. We decided to try their food. Wow it was amazing. Very authentic place with the music and theme. The food was delicious, the whole family enjoyed their meals. The staff was great, very friendly and made my family feel like home. They have great food choices, the food is made fresh on the spot, once you order it. Planning to come back for the great food and service we received. The great thing about this place is that they have a takeout menu, they deliver, and have skip the dishes, if you can’t make it in and craving Moroccan food. Definitely coming back to try more of the delicious food off the menu. I would give this place 10/10. For the hospitality, fresh delicious food, and atmosphere.

My husband and I went here for a date night back in November while on a weekend getaway. The food is incredible, good authentic Moroccan dishes. The restaurant is very welcoming and comfortable. The owner made us feel as at home as if we were sitting at his family dinner table. We definitely plan on visiting again.

Terrible food. Dont usually post negative reviews but felt the need to warn folks about this place. Had to throw 70$ worth of food in the garbage as it was swimming in oil & stale. Please rethink atleast serving your customers something that is consumable. The food smelled bad. Wont go back again.

We had the lamb prune tagine, Lemon chicken tagine, Kofta Kebab plate, Harira soup and Casablanca salad. They didn't have the Zaalouk so no trio for us. Every plate was very delicious and well prepared. The meat was tender and perfect. The Harissa hot sauce on the side was spicy and hot but tastes good. The Chef Ibrahim treated us to Moroccan tea after the meal. That was very nice of him. Thanks to Chef Ibrahim and all the staff for the great service.

Didn't feel like cooking. Decided to give this place a try and got takeout. Very cozy atmosphere when you enter the restaurant. Comfy cushions, Moroccan music and fragrant aromas coming from the kitchen. I got the Kofta Kebab Plate which came with a spicy sauce that went great with the dish. Loved the food!! It took a bit of time to prepare so be patient.

Today lunch in Morocco House was the best ! We came group of people (12), the atmosphere was amazing, I felt like we were in Morocco, traditional place with a good service as well. We had a special appitizers like chicken Bastilla and Zaalouk (Eggplant). However, we shared all the food together, we had Lamp Prune Tagine, chicken couscous, Royal couscous, chicken tagine, chicken and beef kebab plates. The food was veeeryyy amazing and delicious, was so authentic food !!! Big up to the Chef Ibrahim, and staff . I suggest you guys to visit the place.. !! ❤️

Ordered takeaway in the evening. The place has good varieties. However, one of our meals was a kafta kebab. The meat tasted and smelled almost rotten, it was very bad, and was very little quantity (may be its the restaurant but it didn’t look like 2 skewers). The other meal was ok, but both were not even close to fresh.

Morocco house is a nice little place to enjoy middle Eastern food. We tried the chicken tagline and beef tagine, both were quite tasty, though not sure how Moroccan they were. The mint tea was very good. I like the place as it is a nice respite from shawarmas and kebabs. However, prices felt a bit high, service was not particularly fast, the "home baked bread" was more like cheap pitas from a grocery store. All and all it was a nice experience.

Went a couple of weeks ago with my girlfriend, first time trying Moroccan food. Ordered 2 different dishes so we could share......the food was incredible!!! I spent some time speaking with the owner, found him to be very hospitable . Service was awesome, food amazing, and a pleasure speaking to the staff and owner. It was my first time visiting this new Moroccan Restaurant. Wow! My family and I really enjoyed it. Food is very authentic! The food was authentic. Unfortunately the lamb dish had half lamb and half fat and was supposed to have five vegetables but only had two. $18.99? When we walked in we were asked if we wanted Moroccan tea. He never said it was $9 for water, sugar and mint. Waiter was late five min. Other waiter late ten minutes. Beef was pronounced as fresh sirloin tip. It was reheated and dry. Bottom line...$80 for 3 dishes and one small appetizer is ridiculous. If it were $30, I would say the value was less than fair. But please! The bread is store bought and dry. Thumbs down, very dissapointed.

The food was okay, service took a bit long. When our bill came, we noticed there was something called "6 grat". When I asked if it was an auto gratuity group charge, they said it was not, but instead "a charge because big groups are hard on the kitchen". I would have paid the addditional amount for it because the food was pretty decent, but the extra charge felt pretty unfair. Also, pretty sure an additional charge "because it's hard on the kitchen" isn't legal. **To clarify to the restaurants response, the waiter emphasized that this added cost was NOT a tip, and was an added charge.

I went there to order food but unfortunately there was a leak in the building. I was greeted by Abraham at the door, while he was cleaning up the water mess. He was such a nice guy he He told me there is no food today because if the leak but he invited me in for tea which was nice of him. Unfortunately i had to take a rain check. I definitely be back...... Update: well i went back order take out i got to say the food was amazing. Now i read the reviews on here and there are some who say the staff is rude. You got it all wrong the staff are very polite and professional. While waiting for my take out the owner offered me tea and sweets ( on the house). The person who was running the show was on the phone the whole time & actually insulted us by throwIng the food we had ordered in the bin just because we asked why they are taking so long for a salad and soup - as the staff had started up packing the restaurant for closure and this was around 9pm! For my first time having morroccan food other then dishes I've cook myself I'm extreamly dissapointed on what I received the main dish kofta tagine was extreamly salty and saturated in so much grease it was unpalatable the hummus we received was not even served with any pita or Naan and was very sour tasting of lemon and our rice which was fine tasting was a such a small portion I never provide reviews but I paid 40 dollars for something I couldnt even eat more then two bites of I do not recommend this food and it's a shame to Morroco dishes, which are bountiful, beautifully spiced and delicious. Money would have been better spend at a McDonald's.

Really great food and cozy atmosphere. The main entrees took a little long to come out and the one entree was wrong so had to be remade, but it was well worth the wait and the manager was super apologetic and so nice, it was pretty much impossible to be mad about it. I meant to take pictures but I forgot to because the food looked so good. I recommend the hummus appetizer, it was really fresh!

Fall-off-the-bone tender lamb in both the tagine and the couscous. Both dishes had great, savoury flavour. The house-made hot sauce was really tasty as well. I will definitely come back, and next time I will make sure to order a whole pot of the mint tea as we could not get enough! Loved the cozy interior.

As a moroccan I can tell that the food that we got are not the real Moroccan food. Noting is home made. And when my husband told the waiter that I have hair in my plate the chef came out of the kitchen and started yelling at us. Horrible experience I felt bad in front of my husband (not moroccan). I forgot to say that we were waiting for one hour to get this garbage in our table.

This was my first time eating at Morocco house with my boyfriend, after reading the reviews I was eager to try it but I was quickly let down. The server took an hour to take our drink order when I finally received my drink the order was incorrect. The food took over an hour and when served to us it was cold. While waiting for the food and drink service we had some time to observe the space. The floors were dirty, you could see to the back kitchen which looked unsanitary, the kitchen staff passed food with barehands, and to add the cherry on top there was a hair in my boyfriends food!!! DISGUSTING! We will never go back there... beware of this place!

One of the best food experiences in my life , we had a special dinner last night ! I invited my family for diner time and we got a beautiful appetizer called chicken Bastilla and shakshuka with pita breads and harissa moroccan hot sauce , right after we got chicken and beef tagines was so delicious and authentic , we had also couscous with lamb ... the taste of food was so amazing ! Great food. Don't go by the looks. It looks small but the food is amazing. The host was nice and takes pride in his good food. That shows in the recipies too. The couscous with lamb was amazing. Definitely visiting again. Best thing wasn't crazy crowded for a Friday.

Wanted something new. Tried the lamb shank. Wow! Salad, rice, some hunks of lamb, and this spicy sauce is what I got. The meat was sooo tender. The sauce kicked it up to 11. It wasn't that it was hot, it made all the flavors better. I took it for take out in a Styrofoam container. This food should have been on fancy plates. It was ready in 5 minutes from when I ordered it! The atmosphere of the restaurant was great! The only thing that would have made my meal better was if I was sitting around a table with my friends and family at this place. Totally recommend

My family and I travelled to Morocco last year and had the opportunity to try food in Casablanca, Marakkesh, Fez, and Tangier. I was extremely disappointed with the food at this restaurant, especially the beef and chicken Tajine, and Harira soup. There was nothing authentic about the meal apart from the fact that our meal was served in a tajine. All the dishes were loaded with Salt. The lamb tajine and the royal couscous were cold when they arrived at the table. I can make better tajine at home. I won’t be coming back to this place.

We love Moroccan food, regard it as our special treat when we feel like one, unfortunately the experience does not qualify. Not everything was available, my daughter had to look for different plate than the one she wanted. The wait time was long(30 mins) and we got our orders in 2 phases with 15 mins apart. The portions we're very small and hardly enough for us as well as our children (ordered from main menu item each had a main course serving) we kept asking for the bread that comes with the food, my daughter had to finally walk over to ask again. The food was good, the price exceeded the value and portions, so although it feels affordable, it's not suitable. My advice to management, enhance your service performance, raise the price if you wish but make the meals bigger 2X. Showing up at one guest table over and over while not giving the same treatment to other guests makes them feel unwelcome. Overall still on the hunt for THE Right Morrocan house.

Amazing atmosphere. The place looks and sounds great. Food was clean and fresh tasting. Amazing falafels and beef. Great price. Next time I’m getting the tagine.
