I visited Huevos with my roommate today (Sept 25) and was deeply disappointed to see that they were not checking vaccine proof for anyone sitting inside. We waited to be asked, and finally said something to the server after she took our drink order, and were told it was because they were "short staffed". We watched and no one who sat down afterwards were asked either. On top of this, all the servers are very new and seem to be inexperienced, with long wait times to order, receive drinks, have plates cleared and to pay at the end. This visit was a second chance was after I visited Huevos with my mother a few weeks ago. Our order was never punched in, and while there were 3-4 bussers/servers on duty, no one seem to notice that those who arrived after us were receiving their food before us. We finally had to say something after waiting about 40 minutes for our breakfast. It was immediately remedied, but again, we had to wait a long time to have our plates cleared, and to pay afterwards. Very unfortunate as it's in such a nice location, but I won't be visiting here again.

Unbelievable service. They were short staffed but calm and especially worked as a team. (We used to visit them when they were on Lakeshore. They serve French and Mexican fare now. I had the Fiesta Smoothie ( it was huge and filling) Norma had two watermelon margaritas- that were potent. Dogs are welcome on their patio too.

Walked in to place an order. The owner/manager was absolutely pleasant in spite of the tough times. Really appreciate the hospitality industry. Ordered the Mexican breakfast and coffee. Took the half and half ( salad corn potatoes). Tasted great. Reasonably priced, normal portions. The spicy sauce is really hot so watch out !

Was super excited to try this - but they are not made for take out. I ordered the huevos rancheros and my partner got the breakfast nachos. We live across the street and neither were edible by the time we got home. The rancheros was some sort of discoloured sloppy soup. The nachos were packaged in the same container as the eggs and the bread, so they were just a big soggy sponge. The yolk is broken in my picture because I dipped a piece of the baguette into it to try it before throwing it away without taking a bite. Spat out that bite and threw it away. You guys really need to be more strategic with how you package your takeout.

One of the best relaxing brunch spots in Mimico, with a Mexican / French style all day breakfast and lunch menu. The Mexican benedict is delicious and tasty and a fair size, and so is the steak and eggs (any style eggs of your choosing). They also have a great drink menu, the mimosas and mezcal mary (adding bacon was a great choice) were excellent and refreshing. Indoor or patio dining avail, the patio may be a 20 min wait in the summer w/end.

I had the breakfast quesadilla and my partner had the Mexican Benedict - both came out fast, hot, and delicious. We both recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes breakfast with a twist! Had 4 poor experiences here. 1st time we went to eat there and they only had A QR code to read the menu. No menus posted on the window or inside the restaurant or outside the restaurant. Anywhere! My phone would not read the QR Code No matter what I tried with the waiter's help. Where upon he just strugged his shoulders and we were forced to go somewhere else. Next my fiance went with her best friend and their phones would also not read the QR Code so they could also not eat there, again!! The 3rd try, we ordered from Uber eats and there was a nice 9" hair stuck in my chorizo sausage!???? I have a pretty strong stomach so foolishly a couple of weeks later I went back to their patio to give them another chance because they are the only breakfast place around for quite a distance. This time because we live in one of the apartments close by we decided to walk without our phones and of course once again, no Menu!? Do you think by this time they would have printed 1 up and put it on the window or wrote it on a chalkboard. I understand not printing up a Physical menu for sustainability but at least have something for people Whose phones have died, or don't have Wi-Fi, or don't have a smartphone, Et cetera et cetera! You've lost 2 customers who would hand been back every weekend, had you given at least the minimal effort!

Waiting for over an hour to get a cup of coffee and then literally had to chase servers down to place our food order. Needless to say, didn’t care to sit for another hour for the food so just left. Wouldn’t come back here until they are a bit more sorted and there servers can remember to (care to) attend to the guests.

Went in on a Sunday, at a regular brunch time. Were seated but then ignored for 20+ minutes. No drink order, no food order. 2 other couples arrived after us, one had their order taken AND food delivered before we were spoken to. Only reason we had attention paid, is that another table who had eaten, overheard us, and on the server's Third trip over to them, They pointed out that we were still unserved. Ordered Nachos Breakfast, eggs appeared to have been pe-cooked and held in a bain marie as there was no shine to them, same with my husband's 'home fries' (roasted potatoes). The most frustrating part, the food is tasty. However after also receiving a packaged sour cream that had remnants of someone else's salad on it, I cannot excuse the food/service atrocities. I shared the info with our server when she returned, and she did have something taken off our bill as a show of faith. This unfortunately also took an additional 10 minutes when we were ready to pay and just get out. I'm sure on a slower day when all customers can be tended to appropriately, perhaps eggs are made to order, and one might be able to enjoy the tasty food.

We were excited to try this place. Had great reviews. I never normally write reviews but the experience was so terrible that I have to write one. The food we ordered was the wrong order all together. They didn’t replace it with our actual order and my breakfast quesadilla was so disgusting I couldn’t eat it. The server was extremely rude on top of it. We spent 60 dollars for two disgusting meals and two drinks and the price is not worth it at all for the service or food. We will not be going back and I don’t recommend anyone to go eat here. My boyfriend and I now feel really sick from their food. If I could give zero stars I would.

We were there on Sunday morning. No line up to be seated, that was wonderful. However the overall experience was negative. We were rushed to order, the waitress came to our table every 2 minutes and we didn’t even notice we have to look at the menu scanning the QR code. Once we ordered, she asked for the sides (potatoes or salad), we chose but when we received the food the chilaquiles came with no side. I told another waitress but she said that the previous waitress was new and didn’t know the many well, she said she made a mistake but that dish doesn’t come with side. I checked the menu and it was on the list of dishes with sides so I called the waitress again but she said that it was mistake on the menu. The worst part and the most disgusting was the cleanliness of the place. It was really really bad. Here are some pictures. Our table was right underneath. My recommendations to the owner is to make sure the menu reflects the dishes they way the are. The waitress are properly trained and have real customers service skills and mostly that they invest time in cleaning their locations because is so disgusting seeing that while you eat.

So happy to have this place back in etobicoke. I haven’t been since the original location on lakeshore closed. Been meaning to get to the PC one but then this opened! They’re huevos rancheros are the best and the sausage is incredible. Love the salad home fries mix. Can’t wait to go back.

I have been here four times now, and the food is consistently great, would have given it 5 stars! However, service is fairly poor. The hostess and other staff are good, but the server (it seems that there is only one) does her job very poorly. You have to be proactive to get your drinks, food, condiments and coffee refills. We were not in a rush and were very patient, but I don't think we would have ever gotten anything if we didn't wave someone down to ask for it. No one will ask if your food came out the way that you wanted it or if you would like to order anything else and your plates will not be cleared until you wave someone down to ask for the bill. Four tables sat after us and were more proactive at getting service so they got their food, paid and left before our food ever arrived. Again the food is great and I will definitely go back to this place, but I hope they will improve their service.

Great food, good selection of options and vegan options. Was told the corn tortillas that I loved were made on location when I asked. The menu was easy to read and not overwhelming. The coffee today was delicious as well. Staff were attentive and friendly. Highly recommend going there and I'll be back for sure. My friend and I were talking about the Mexican breakfast we had all day. The baguette was do warm and lightly buttered. I had the fried and salad half n half and it was perfect and the salad was dressed just right. Lots of flavour and not soggy. The chizro and egg was so exciting and just enough kick. I'll be back for sure!

I came here with my partner at around 11:30 am today. Was very disappointed with the experience. Service was not good at all. I ordered the birria tacos, not bad. But the Cesar I order was HORRIBLE. It was like drinking spaghetti noodles through tomato juice. Literally the grossest thing I have ever had at a restaurant. We later found out what we thought was horseradish was sauerkraut. And that they had given us a Bloody Mary Ceasar??? Not what I ordered AT ALL, and they still charged $12?!?!?! For the most disgusting drink I have ever tasted. At least tell the customer this before you unleash this revolting concoction on them. Would not recommend, will not be going again. When it was all said and done we paid $41 for tacos, egg benny, and a nasty drink (no tip sorry not sorry). You can get a MUCH better meal elsewhere for less. Sorry for the honesty, someones gotta say it.....

I do not usually post reviews but my experience was especially negative that I decided to post one. Before coming here for brunch I found positive reviews which encouraged me to go, however my experience was quite the opposite. The host of the restaurant which is a woman with long curly hair and blonde tips was not friendly and welcoming, in fact I found her to be quite rude and the people in my party agreed. I chalked it up to her perhaps being busy with the line up. After being told the wait time is 45 minutes but waiting an hour and 15 minutes we were finally seated. The host which was also a server, did not bring any water. She came by and asked us if we were ready to order drinks, I asked her to give us two minutes, at which point she did not return for 20 minutes (or for the remainder of the stay). I could not find an excuse for her as there was no longer a line up, and when seating the table next to us she instantly brought them all water. After not returning for a duration of 25 minutes to take our order since we were seated we were quite upset and decided to leave the restaurant. At that moment another server (her co-worker) sensed that we were upset and came to take our order. We were then served by the other two waitresses for the remainder of our stay and the original host did not return to our table. The servers did not check in after we received our food to ensure everything was okay but after such awful service to begin with we truly just wanted to leave. When I went to pay inside as I couldn't count of someone coming to check in for me to ask for the bill, again the waitress with the curly hair was very rude. She ignored me standing there until I asked her "Can I pay?". I observed her serve, check in, and bring water to another table so I am not sure why she was so incredibly rude with us. Again, she was not friendly, did not ask about how the experience was, in fact she did not speak to me at all. I paid and walked away, thanked the other two servers and left. I would like to note we were a party of 6 and thus we were spending quite a bit of money at this place. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this place to anyone else. The service was beyond awful to my experience and the food was mediocre at best.

Quick and delicious breakfast. We had huevos rancheros and mexican benedict. Both very tasty. Eggs poached perfectly and homemade hot sauce very spicy- just the way we like it.
