Amongst all of the bloor street madness you will find the Green Mango. The decor is very average for a Thai restaurant but the staff are very helpful. We started with the shrimp spring rolls but they arrived cold and lacking flavor. After sending them back we received the vegetable spring rolls which were MUCH better. Blazing hot and lots of flavor. Our main course arrived in a reasonable amount of time. I had ordered the Bun Thit Nuong with pork. This dish was delicious and very fresh. My fiancé had ordered the lemongrass soup which was also very very delicious. All and all a good experience with good thai food.

Best Thai cuisine I’ve had in Toronto. They have a $10 lunch special which comes with free soup if you are staying in. My sister and I both thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. We had sticky rice with mango for dessert which was so delish. The portions are just right. The food was perfectly seasoned. The service was excellent. Highly recommend Green Mango if you’re looking for good Thai food.

Arrived late in the evening so ordered some take-out. The red curry beef was the worst I have ever had. It was nothing like any red curry I have ever had before and was not even close to anything authentic. I have never had potato in a red curry before.....it looked more like an eastern European stew and had barely any Thai flavour. The carrots were the left overs from making rice paper wraps and the beef was in odd chunks, should be in nice thin slices. The rice that came with it was dry and my mango salad still had pieces of mango skin which was noticeable to chew on. I wish they had told me it was too late to order before I spent $70 on poorly made food. I will never return!

Food was delicious, service was great. This dish was a mix of shrimp and bass fish in a tamarind basil sauce of some sort. I loved the dish. Green parking at a few locations near by as parking is hectic around the restaurant. Green Mango is a must try.

Enjoyed them in the past at Yonge and Bloor, and was happy to discover they were still present with this location. Not quite the same value as the past quick service restaurant I remember, though still an enjoyable experience and good food. Dine-in visit included Chicken Satay skewers, Chicken Spring Rolls, Roasted Duck Noodle, Mango Beef, and Pineapple Chicken Curry.

Hands down, one of the best thai places Ive gone to. Service was quick, quality and taste was amazing. My only issue is that its not close enough to me. I would highly recommend this place. We ordered the coconut soup with chicken. It was flavourful and delicious. Had a pleasant sweetness to it. Also ordered the pinapple chicken curry which is made with a red curry base. It was delicious. I thought it would be too sweet but turned out to have the perfect amount of sweet and spicy. Like I said, highly recommend!

Serves food that you get from a food court quality "fake" Chinese/Vietnamese/Thai cuisine at a fully-functioning restaurant prices. Sure, it's a suburban restaurant, but you can get so much better food here in GTA for way less. It's fine for a lunch place, but I wouldn't go here otherwise. The two upsides are that the staff are very friendly and the restaurant is mint-clean and newly renovated.

I would not recommend this place if you're looking for "authentic" thai food. The pad thai was unlike any pad thai I've ever tasted. The basil fried rice with (I suspect) frozen vegetables was okay but again, not authentic.

This is the best Thai food spot in the west end ... it's a fixture in the community and the staff is beyond friendly and welcoming ... moreover, the food is absolutely delicious with freshly sourced ingredients and knowledgeable kitchen staff ... all around a wonderful place for lunch and dinner ... the pad Thai and mango chicken are just yummy ... and the duck is divine Highly recommended ☆☆☆☆☆

One of my fave "go-to" places whether it's for a quick lunch or a celebratory dinner. The service is usually always great, only a few "slower" servers who aren't as attentive but otherwise it's great. The food is always fresh and hot. The vegetables always taste fresh and they take pride in how they plate/serve the dishes as well.

Green Mango, more like Great Mango. Always friendly staff, never really too busy and the food is excellent. I always start off with the Curry Pumpkin Soup and I'm never disappointed. I would seriously just come here for that soup. The Pad Thai with chicken is always very well done. It'n not greasy like a lot of other Thai places. The chicken isn't stringy where you feel like you got the throw away parts of the chicken. They used the good bits. I wouldn't hesitate coming back.

My go-to thai food place! The inside is kinda small but the decoration is really nice. I always get the angel wings every time I come here because they are so good. I also usually get the pad see ew. I have never been disappointed by the food.

Absolutely terrible. We had come in 45 minutes before closing, weren't greeted, and the first thing the "greeter" said was that the kitchen was closing in 5 minutes. Then it took the waiter 10 minutes to come to our table to pour water and ask if we were ready to order, but actually I had to flag the waited down myself, ridiculous. I had ordered the beef pho, and got the most disgusting pho I had ever seen. The broth was murky and dirty, the beef was very low quality. I had asked the waiter why the pho broth was brown and he literally ran away and I didn't see him for the rest of my stay at Green Mango. If you want amazing pho, go to Pho 88, their dishes are of such good quality no matter what time you go there at.

Friendly service and delicious food. This is a great place to go with family and friends for affordable, yet delicious Thai food. There are also a few Vietnamese options on the menu, such as pho, to add some variety. The restaurant is very neat and aesthetically pleasing on the eye. A comfortable and low-key atmosphere. There are also many interesting drink/sweet options on the menu as well for those who have a sweet tooth. I have yet to try those myself to be honest! More reason to go again.

I ordered spring rolls and a vegetarian dish. We waited about 20 minutes for the appetizers to come so I thought they would be freshly made. The spring rolls came and they were lukewarm to cold? I decided to let it pass and did not say anything. Again we waited a bit for the main to come and normally I am used to dishes being piping hot when they come to the table. It was barely warm and then I realized this food was probably ready made and they are probably microwaving it and giving to customers (it was not a busy night so that can't be an excuse). I asked the waiter to warm it up and he was back in 2 min..and it was still cold. In addition the dish I ordered tasted like vegetables in a sugar sauce...it was just gross. Service was okay but I had to ask a few times for a water refill. It was obvious wait staff there do not care about the customer service experience. Never going back again.

Their lunch menu has a good variety of entrees. I like the location where it is. I have only been there during the weekends where there are ample street parking. Back to the menu, their papaya salad is really good, sometimes you will get that as a side when you order from the lunch menu. If they don't have the salad, they substitute it with a cucumber salad which is pretty good as well. Their wait staff are very attentitive but not overbearing. I would definitely go again!

Went there for the first time from Caledon since the west north has no authentic thai food, thought i'd try it out. I Was amazed by their service going beyond during this pandemic. I didn't feel rushed and I loved their taste of the the meals I ordered. If you are ever in the bloor location stop by for some amazing thai food. If I could leave a -5 star, I would. I've found hair in my food before, and that's understandable. I wish I had a photo - today, I found a large piece of PLASTIC in my lunch. Ordered the beef curry from the lunch menu, and the discovery made me too appalled to even think to take a picture. The plastic was probably half the size of my palm, and still had a piece of a label on it. At least the people working were friendly enough to not charge for the food - but I will NEVER return here again. Absolutely ridiculous. EDIT: Regardless of post above, I've revisited since this review due to it's close proximity and my desire for asian cuisine. No complaints since return. Service is great as always. Change from 1 to 4 stars.

We stopped here for lunch a couple weeks ago. They have a small seating area on the sidewalk so we sat outside. We ordered two lunch specials: the spicy chicken with basil on rice (#13) and the basil fried rice with shrimp (#5). I would say the fried rice was average - I have nothing good or bad to say about it. We liked the spicy chicken with basil better but it wasn't very spicy - more like mild. I would go back for their lunch specials. The price is right (10 bucks), the portions are perfect for lunch and there's over a dozen to choose from.

Over the years I’ve definitely had my ups and downs with this restaurant. Sad to report: total down. Service is quick as they haul out many orders through back door to regulars but the quality of their product has deteriorated. Skimpy portions, dry Pad Thai, oily spring rolls. $40 for 2 mixed Pad Thai should give you something decent. Be selective as only a few items are worthwhile. And don’t get the Pad Thai.

Green Mango is a great local spot to get Thai food. I love the ambiance of the restaurant as it is very calming and relaxed. The servers are very kind and service is relatively fast, leading to a wonderful dining experience. I had their chicken pad Thai, and while it is not the best pad Thai I have ever had, it’s pretty darn good. It was oozing with flavour and consisted of a wonderful combination of ingredients, however I did find it to be a tad soggy compared to other pad Thai dishes I’ve had. The dishes are quite pricy when you factor in the quality of the food, however if you are looking to try this restaurant out, I’d recommend going at lunchtime where they have a $10 lunch special which includes a variety of their top dishes. Overall, if you are looking for Thai food, Green Mango is a fairly good option and probably the best in the area.

Avoid. This restaurant used to be so very good but sadly, quality control is a miss. I went by today and ordered peanut chicken to go. I was so happy at home as the dish was fully loaded with chicken and smelled so good. Thankfully I hadn't eaten much of the meal when I noticed a slice of ginger with a bite taken out of it. I couldn't believe it. obvious teeth marks. I do understand that a chef needs to taste the food but at least have the courtesy to eat the entire piece, not take a bite and throw it back into the dish for the customer. It is disgusting to begin with and during a pandemic on top of it, makes it too risky to eat here. I really used to love this place but sadly, I will never order there again..

Service was fast and the staff were nice. The food was delicious, very flavourful. The labels on the spicy dishes, I find quite accurate for my taste. The food selection is good. The restaurant itself is a bit modern with nice furniture. The most annoying thing is parking really... It's only paid parking, either on the street or in the back; and if you come at popular times it's hard to find parking.

The place seems to be a bit hit and miss in terms of preparation and not very consistent. The dine in meals are generally better than the take out. Items we ordered did not include the ingridients listed on their menu. One item listed shrimp, scallops and squid but the scallops were clearly missing. The other dish listed green peppers, but we received orange. Rice also seemed to be stale and not fresh. Some of the dishes are definitely put together with more attention and care than others. The Pad Thai is okay and I've heard the curry selections are popular. Overall I'd say it's mediocre at best. Not the beat preparation for take out orders.

We had pad thai and it was too sweet, too much sugar on it and only 2 shrimps on a mix chicken-shrimp. The server was very nice though.

Ordered two dishes to share: the basil chicken and the pineapple chicken curry. The basil chicken is good - 4 stars. The pineapple chicken curry sounds really good but it's less so - it's only maybe 3.5 stars. (Too many bamboo shoots but that's just personal taste.) But I do see a few items on their lunch menu I want to try...

Just a heads up that the google pdf menu is wrong and many of the prices have gone up by a few dollars. The food is pretty good overall. The sauce for the fresh wraps is fantastic and although the pho broth was flavourful, the beef in the pho was overcooked and dry.

Ordered a street style Pad Thai with high hopes given the reviews and its quite possibly the worst Pad Thai I’ve ever had. There’s basically no sauce, no flavour, and there are bell peppers in the mix. Bell peppers are not mentioned in the menu and quite frankly do not belong in a Pad Thai. Also ordered a mango sticky rice, rice was ok, mango was very underripe.

Same great taste as the Bloor and Yonge location we missed so much. We ordered the regular and street-style Pad Thai, beef basil and chicken yellow curry. These last 2 come with rice. Delicious, abundant portions and reasonable price.

I just tried this place this weekend and for the price, it’s amazing! It’s a great option for Thai in the neighborhood. They offer a $10 lunch specials with reasonable portion sizes and fairly tasting food. The yellow curry is great! I got take out but service was really nice and quick.

Pad thai was tasteless. We had asked for mild, as per many times before, but this was ridiculously mild. Sadly, this was also a special Mother's Day meal. Extremely disappointing.

First. There's only 2 high chairs available. Second.. They charge you 15% of service on top of food. 3rd... They shame you by keep telling you off to quiet down the kids. When the kids are between infant to toddler. The environment itself is not kid friendly environment. The waiters are showing expressions of annoyance because of our kids. I don't recommend this place at All!!!

I ordered vegetarian pad kee Mao. They confirmed three times that it was vegetarian. When I come home it is chicken. I called to fix the problem. They said to drive back and switch it. I asked for compensation for having to drive back, they rudely told me no. I'm never going back to this restaurant. Thai restaurants are plentiful in Toronto, so I will just switch to one that knows how to treat customers right.

We ordered two dishes based on the server's recommendations. They were not good. One was drowning in sauce, which had a really overwhelming and not very pleasant taste. The other dish didn't taste like much. For $55 it was a complete waste of money. We took the mango salads that came with our dish to go and the next day when I tasted it, it was not edible.

This place has a friendly staff and amazing food of Thai and Vietnamese cuisine. I went for the Mixed Pad Thai, and wife order the beef pho. Portions were huge, so either come hungry or have lots of appetite or just take home the extra. Pad Thai was mildly flavoured, not salty. I like it mixed so I get a little bit of everything. There were hot sauce on the table in case you want to spice it up. The ambiance was authentic feel of Thailand, with some arts, and figurines. At the time we dined in, there were some tables outside the restaurant if you want to dine outdoors. It's conveniently located next to the Royal York subway station. There were lots of parking at the back, or along the street. I recommend this restaurant.

Been ordering for years. Used to have shrimp rolls with more shrimp than filler. That is no longer the case. I hope they get back on track. Atmosphere in the restaurant is decent, but hardly matters when the chicken skewers are often dry and have chewy bits. Don't know if management has changed, but it's sad to see constant negative changes.
