Woah.. the food was amazing.. like crazily amazing.. On a more serious note, the food at Anatolia is great. The service is fast and the servers are kind and helpful. They're not too overpriced either. I don't eat Turkish food often so I can't say much about their claim of "authentic Turkish food" but the food sure is great. If you're deciding on a restaurant for any occasion, this is the one for you!

Amazing food!! Tried this restaurant for the first time based on great reviews. I got the dinner for one and the hubby got the lamb platter. All the different kabobs were well marinated and very flavourful and tender. The rice and bulgar were cooked perfectly. In addition, the service was amazing. Will definitely be going back to try more items on the menu. Highly recommend!

This turkish restaraunt on Dundas has accomplished the art of take out to a wonderful standard. The food is fresh, tasty with just the right amount of seasoning. The salad of peppers, onion, tomatoes & a few other ingredients was refreshing and definitely more enjoyable than just lettuce. The skewers of beef & lamb were servered on a lovely bed of rice. Bread & hummis was also provided which was very fresh & tastey. Baklava was the crowning achievement of a totally delightful dinner. Hoping they will soon be open to inside dining as the restaraunt itself has great charm. I must admit though for takeout it was fresh and a delight to consume.

Went here last night (Saturday) and the place was packed (not sure why). I spend over $100 for 2 people and the food was ok but the service was really really bad. I asked for water and never got some. There were only 3 servers and probably the owner who came around once asking how the food was. Food tasted ok nothing special and portion sizes were small and very over priced! Would not be going here again and there are plenty of good Turkish restaurants in Toronto. Sadly I live right across the street and wanted to supper a local business but that was definitely a mistake.

Wow what a treasure! It was clean the food was hot, fresh, good portion size and delicious! Service was amazing and the woman that served us was so lovely and sweet. ❤???? We had the dinner for 2 with the shrimp appetizer, came with warm fresh baked bread and homemade hummus SO GOOD! Topped off with a delicious Turkish coffee, Turkish delight and a baklava which was homemade and delicious! This spot is a Turkish delight! We will ve back. Highly recommend. ????????????????????

Delicious Turkish food! Don't let the old strip plaza fool you. The delicate lamb dumplings called Manti are topped with yoghurt mixed with garlic & spices in melted butter & dried mint. The home made bread is addictive! Everything on the menu is tasty & the service is appreciated. Parking is limited in front so look elsewhere.

Ordered From here and its WAY over priced. Paid $35 For a main course and they cheated me and gave me the exact same order but for the appetizers worth $15. Needless to say the party I was with ordered a 35 dollar meal and shared it while I was charged 35$ before tax for half a cup of shrimp and cheese with a few sliced tomatoes and peppers, Over priced and low quality food I would not recommended, save your self the hassle

Service is great. We were greeted by a smiling server. When the menu came, we wanted to leave as the prices seemed crazy for the type of food. We decided to stay and give it a try but were deeply disappointed. The portions are very small, the prices are way too high and the food is just OK. I found the food very greasy and too much garlic, I guess to make up for lack of taste? Our experience was a misalignment of expectations. The menu, the prices, the incredibly small portion and no taste! The two stars here are for the awesomely smiling server!

Best baklava I ever had, cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. They do take out :D The food is very good, especially the walnut spread which comes with delicious bread and the chicken shish kebab which comes with this amazing dip and pickled veggies. The food and drinks were delicious and the service impeccable. They have washrooms downstairs and serve a variety of teas. We paid around $25 per person for a more than satisfying full meal. A place you can stay and talk over dinner. Ambiance is very cute, feels like you are in Turkey.

Both food and service are excellent, however, we came here for the Kunefe. We ordered a large Greek salad, and a kebab entree for the two of us along with the small Kunefe. The salad was very large, but we found the portion size of the entree to be a bit lacking. In the end, everything was executed very well, but I think there are many, many places in the GTA that execute this well (or even better) for less money. Great experience, but it was pricey.

Such a lovely place ???? We've been there 2 times so far; one of them was for a special Turkish night and we enjoyed both visits. Food is very delicious, staff and owner are so respectful, responsible, kind and friendly. They're following the health rules and is very clean place. We had so much fun at the Turkish night. The place is so authentic and feels like home. Prices are regular nothing expensive comparing to food's yummy taste ???? Specially the homemade bread, soup and appetizers were so delicious. I have never had to deal with such an outrageous and violent man before. I came on a recommendation with a friend, and ordered the shrimp at the encouragement of the waitress (I do not eat meat). When it was served, I had one bite, and the shrimp was old and fishy. When the waitress finally came to check on how the meal was, I informed her that it was inedible, and she took it away without an apology or offer of resolution. When my dining partner finished their meal, we were brought a bill and I was surprised to see that the shrimp had not been removed from the bill. I asked to speak to the manager and he insisted that because I ordered it, I am obliged to pay for it, that it's not his responsibility to take the loss of the meal, regardless of quality, meanwhile confirming that the shrimp *was* indeed from frozen. He was belligerent and rude and refused any compensation beyond a free coffee. I refused to pay for a meal prepared with bad ingredients that I did not eat. The manager chased after me while I was leaving the restaurant with a verbal assault, and I rushed to enter the passenger side of my friends car, at which point the manager lunged toward me and yanked the car door open. I was terrified he was about to physically assault me. I struggled to shut the door while he kept trying to pull it open and finally managed to get it shut and then locked the door to prevent him from any further attempt. He then went back into the restaurant and returned to write down the license plate number of my friend's car (who had been happy with their meal, and paid for it) all the while yelling profanity. Apparently *some* of the food here is good, but the owner of this restaurant needs to do something about their psychopathic staff, and if unable to maintain fresh, quality inventory for specific dishes remove them from the menu entirely.

We ordered takeout from their online menu. It turns out that the price they advertise is not the real price. Add an extra 10%. When the guy gave me the total I miss heard him and ended up paying a extra $15 The food was bland and missing that Turkish spice that I was so looking forward too. The Domato emzi was nothing more than a fancy name for bruchetta. I will never go back This place does not deserve anytjing other than a single star.

Came here once while deciding what to eat for dinner. Looked it up on Yelp and had decent reviews. As we pulled up to the restaurant, some odd faces outside the place and I immediately wanted to turn away but it was decided to go in and try the place. Service is okay, server only came by once asking if we needed more water. I had to go up and ask for menus, bill, etc. The food however, was cooked promptly and tasted delicious! The plates were plentiful but seating was not so great. They could use larger tables. I'll definitely be coming back to this place!

So awesome. Mom found this restaurant while searching online for a new restaurant. I had never had Turkish food before and was delighted how amazing the food and restaurant is. I had the fixed price lunch menu and there is so much to choose from I had had the Sigara Boregi as an app and the Manti for main. Soooooooo good. And we got some bread and hummus and i must admit, i ate a little TOO much of this and couldn't finish my main but took it home. I can't wait to finish it. My hubby had the Lacmacun and Izgara Kofte and loved it. Others at my table had the Walnut Spread and Adana Kebab and baklava for dessert. We will be back. And many thanks for the lovely gift as we departed.

The food was good but quantity was very less. We ordered the mixed platter for $28 and it was not enough for 1 person. There was this dish called Black Sea and it was a small dish with gravy and chicken cubes. It didn't come with bread or rice and the price was $27. I asked for bread and the brought a small piece. For a family of 4 with 2 small kids we paid $90. Expect quality there not quantity.

A friend wanted to try this place and dragged me with her last Friday for the Night of Istanbul show which has a set menu, live music and a professional belly dancer. The food was delicious and the show was pretty good. I’ve read some reviews where people complained about the food being too little, etc. I have to say I was full just on appetisers before the entree even got to our table. The taste of the food was just delicious, the meat they served kind of melted in your mouth. I’m no expert in Turkish food but at least I can say if something tastes OK or not. This was delicious. And I don’t know what kind of price people would expect to pay for 5 appetisers, entree, dessert, coffee, tea, live music and a belly dancing show. Also, regular menu prices are lower than high end Italian restaurants. Cheaper than that, you’ll be eating at a fast food kind of place. The service was one of the best I had. The servers were all smiles and they where on top of filling your water and such. The atmosphere is really cozy. And I mean, the owner was going from table to table talking to people, and at the end inviting guests to get up and dance to the live music. Never seen that anywhere. It is a nice, cozy place I would definitely go again.

Dined there tonight with my fam. This is our fourth time dining there in the last 3 months. Food was very good however the owner, I believe was serving us. He was very sarcastic and rude- told us we had to be out of the restaurant within 2 hours. We probably would have been out there sooner, but just the fact that he said that threw off the night. Our night ended up costing $420 and he was very sassy. I asked him to double check that we ordered two dip platters since we only received one when he brought it out and his reply was, "ya I only have two hands." He then proceeds to mention, "if you don't like my service, then don't tip me... this is why we get people always coming back-- for our service." After tonight, I will be telling all of my family and friends about this experience. Definitely WILL NOT be going back. I don't think people are coming back to receive that type of service. Please understand that I will definitely be spreading the word and ensuring that everyone I know, boycotts this place!

On a hungry Saturday morning, while I was searching for a place to have my brunch I saw Anatolia pop up on my recommendations list. One of the closest places to where I was situated, I decided to go in because it had some really decent reviews. Greated by Aysa (pronounced aa-ee-say)and her colleague to some amazing, prompt and amicable service, I had a very warm feeling right away. With a very humble Turkish decor and Turkish instrumental music, it will transport you to the lands of Turkey. Going through the menu was easy. However, I did what I always do - ask for the best thing on the menu. After she knew my meat and spice preferences she suggested I order an Ali Nazik (tender grilled chicken on top of Baba Ganoush (mashed eggplant) served with rice or bulgur). A li'l skeptical at first about the eggplant but when my ordered arrived, I gobbled it in a minute. That's how good it was. People who don't eat other meats must try this, it's not spicy but it's flavorful. Following that Aisha, offered me a Turkish coffee (mild sweet) on the house, Yaay! I am not a coffee guy but that coffee was worth it. Along with the coffee I ordered Baklava. The baklava I was served had burst of flavors in my mouth, it was moist, my eyes rolled back and it put a smile on my face. Aisha, told me about a saying about Turkish coffee - "Sharing a Turkish coffee develops 40 year friendship." She'll tell you more about it. What a delightful experience! Sometimes, the service makes all the difference. ????Bonus tip: They organize a belly dance performance every 1st Friday of the month.

It was so good that I was so happy and excited to see that there is a Turkish restaurant very close to my home. The first time I stopped by, I was standing at the doorway for about 5 minutes and nobody showed up and I left. Today I gave it another shot. I can't understand the hype. Barans is a high end with moderate prices, Anatolia is low end with high prices. Neither presentation, nor the dishes /taste, nor the quantity is to write home about. Lamb was tasteless, sauce as well, felt like ketchup. The only thing that really stood up was humus. And the service was good. Coffee was old and I had to pay $2.99. Way, way, way overpriced. I came here with my friends on a Saturday night since we were craving some Turkish/Middle Eastern food. The four of us have never been here but decided to give it a try. The food was absolutely amazing and the best Turkish food I’ve had in the GTA. The Anatolia mixed plate was to die for! During the course of our meal, the staff was constantly checking up on us and providing us with amazing service. After we finished our dinner, we ordered some tea and coffee. It was a very welcoming and a homey environment. We will definitely be back!

I recomendo trying the: Manti, Gozleme and their Anatolia mixed plate! My friends and family always love their experience. Staff are friendly, and they are knowledgeable as well. Great little place for a nice dinner date with your girlfriend. It's easy to miss if you've never been there before or if you're unfamiliar with the area, so make you get your GPS to give you a hand. The interior is very beautifully decorated in a way that creates the perfect atmosphere for a date. My date and I were warmly greeted by a lady who appeared to be the owner judging by her likeness to the woman in all the raving publications on the wall near the entrance. She was the same person who served us and helped us navigate the menu as neither my date nor I were familiar with Turkish food. The food was delicious from the bread they serve with their home made hummus down to the last bite of our entrees. The servings were good sizes. I didn't think I would finish mine when it was first set down in front of me but it was so good I couldn't stop myself. The prices are definitely not cheap so it's not a place I would dine at often enough to try out their entire menu, but for a special occasion it's surely worth it.

Used to be one of my favourite restaurants given their cute decor and delicious Turkish food. However I've completely stopped going because of the ridiculous never-ending hikes in their prices. What used to cost $15 2-3 years ago is now $23/24. It isn't a high end restaurant but can feel like one when the bill arrives (especially if you are a family of 4+).

It is our favorite in Canada for sure. We had lahmacun (very thin and crust small size Turkish Pizza) which can be considered good compared to others but of course it is not even close what we used to have in Istanbul. Also we had meatballs which again is the best here compared to other well-known Turkish restaurants and price is also very reasonable. And lastly Manti (Turkish Ravioli) was close to perfection. The classic Turkish liquor Raki was served in ice cold cover which was very cool. Overall, prices are reasonable, quality of food is good and servers are very kind.

Please don’t waste your time reading the reviews, as a Turkish person I can easily say this is the best restaurant to try Turkish food. Hunkar beyendi ( lamb meat over roasted eggplant) was simply INCREDIBLE and my friend who ordered stuffed artichoke was also very impressed. The dippings we ordered were also perfect, I really regret not visiting earlier! I definitely suggest it!!!

So I've been to Istanbul and tried Turkish food around the world. I drove from the downtown core to this place. To my horror the food was average. How on earth can you charge 2 main dishes and nothing else UNBELIEVABLY $53. This was Outrageous!!!! Even small portions in the middle of nowhere. You can get better meals cheaper and much more tasty.

We got to this location at 10:24pm. The guy received us at the door by saying oh we are closed sorry. We left right away but this is not the first time. I came here before with bunch of friends to try it. It was around 10:10pm and we faced a different excuse. We visit almost twice a month we are from New York buffalo. We have never had this happen to us at a restaurant before. If I was the restaurant I would change my times on the website because I saw on the web that they close at 11:00pm. Any way am never going back their. Anyway a restaurant that is poorly managed like that. And turns away customers before closing probably serve poor food. That’s why am not going to give it a third chance.

I enjoyed the experience at Anatolia Restaurant. The thing that stood out the most is their customer service. Patient, informative, friendly and attentive. Really well done. We were a group of 3 and we tried the following: Meze Tabağı (Bread with multiple spreads) (Also received a salad as a compliment) - Really enjoyed the different flavors of the spreads especially the Tomato and Walnut ones. The salad was great as well Black Sea Chicken - I tried this one and I felt the flavors could be better. The chicken was made probably with the same tomato base as the spread mentioned above. I somehow felt this wasn't as special as I would have wanted it to be. Next time I will try the Hunkar Begendi which was sold out when we dined. Manti - My friends had this one and thoroughly enjoyed this beef/gnocchi/dumpling style dish with Turkish spices Baklava (and Turkish Delight which was given to us as a compliment) - Was really good and flavorful Turkish Coffee - The star of the night for me! Amazing I would return to Anatolia to try their other offerings. Would highly recommend.

After our holiday in Turkey, we craved Turkish food and saw the good ratings here. Came for lunch on the weekend and not disappointed at all! Kofte was delicious and service was friendly. Only downside is that there are only 2 parking spots in front. There is pay parking on side streets we were told.

The atmosphere, service and most outstandingly- the food here are all incredible. My only complaint is that the prices are a little high for what you’re getting. I mean no disrespect but you are basically eating the best take-out Mediterranean food you can imagine, for an extra $10 for table service (that’s the way I looked at). I can’t see myself eating here regularly for that reason, but I would come back to try it with someone new just because it’s so delicious.

My girlfriend and I went here for dinner on friday night. She had been to the restaurant before and had a good experience, and suggested we go. We shared the Ayse Walnut Spread appetizer which was tasty. She ordered Grilled Calamari as her main course. I ordered the Adana Kebab plate which is a mix of ground beef and lamb. We did not share anything off of each other's plates. We also shared Baklava for dessert. The meal was good for both of us. The service was very good and the staff was very friendly. That being said, later that evening, around 1:00 AM I started to get severe stomach pains. By 3:00 AM I was on the toilet in massive discomfort. And shortly after that was vomiting violently. I have had food poisoning a couple times before and know I was experiencing the same. Cold sweats, constantly on the toilet bowl, very uncomfortable..... I dont think it was a stomach virus. I'm assuming there was something wrong with the Kebab because my girlfriend did not try any of it because she is fasting and did not get sick... Today being Monday is my first day of eating solid food. I would not say to stay away from this restaurant because of my experience, but I don't think I will be going there again. Once bitten, twice shy..... (Spelling mistake corrected. Auto correct).

This place is fantastic! The bread and hummus are sooooo great! The hummus is just so different from anywhere else I've eaten. And the bread is so so soft and warm.... They chicjen soup of the day was great. Shredded chicken and not salty! The artichoke appetizer was amazing... And the lamb shish kabab was tender. The service was the best. The one waiter served every table there and was super friendly and pleasant... Will definitely be back. The decorations are amazing too!

Simply delicious. I've been to Turkey and I felt like I was there again. Restaurant's design is simple, but very much like true Turkish restaurant would be. Food was well prepared and I enjoyed everything. For starters I had the lentil soup and for main course Shrimp Saute. Plus some of my sister-in-laws Beyti. So very yummy! Service was great and we got a complimentary baklava for dessert. We shared one piece between five people and it was an awesome end to our family dinner.

This was my first experience at a Turkish restaurant. The menu had a multitude of choices with great detail, which made it easier to order. We started out with a four spread appetizer, Hummus, Ayse’s Walnut Spread, Patlican Ezme and Domates Ezmesi, served with warm bread. It was a meal unto itself. Our table ordered four different entrees all of which were excellent. We finished up with Baklava and Turkish coffee and tea. To top it all off, the service was friendly and efficient. My family and I have enjoyed this restaurant over the past couple of years. Recently, we excitedly went to Anatolia to celebrate my mom's birthday. We were so extremely disappointed by the taste of the food, the service, and the ridiculous prices considering the poor taste. We waited a very long time for our food to be served. I ordered a shrimp dish which was basically a couple of shrimp swimming in tasteless sauce. We ordered a dish which we were told was unable to be cooked at the time due to the capacity of the BBQ (how is this possible?). Instead, we were offered some 'free' food, which when we looked at the bill, we were charged for. The same person who offered us the free food, also wrote up our bill. I truly feel bad giving this review, however due to the surprising disappointment, it seems fair.

I came here with my wife last month and enjoyed it so much that I came with the rest of my family a week later. Both experiences were great. We sat outside, right in front of the restaurant, due to the covid restrictions at the time. The restaurant wasn’t busy either time I went and the service was exceptional. The staff was kind and accommodating to us. All the food tastes amazing and is of good quality. Make sure to try a variety of things, and especially order the walnut spread as an appetizer.

We ordered the mixed grill. You get a variety of meats and they were spiced and cooked perfectly. It also comes with rice, bulgar, salad and pita. Flavours were on point and the sauces that come with are delicious. Portions are large, though I still find it a little expensive. Would definitely return!

Hidden gem in Etobicoke! Though I haven't dined in the restaurant (due to the recent covid pandemic), the food that we've ordered was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! Highly recommend Anatolia if you're craving something healthy, flavorful, and filling! The Meze Tabagi (Walnut spread, Eggplant spread, Hummus, and Tomato spread) is great to eat individually, or as a mix! My personal favourite is the eggplant and walnut together hahaha N.B. their Baklava is to die for (I've only had their walnut ones). This is probably the first and only establishment I've found where I thoroughly enjoy this treat! I hope many people continue to support this spot!

I decided to try this place. Service was good, food was average, prices are outrageous! I've traveled around the world and tried Turkish and middle Eastern cousine, and their food is just average. I'm not sure what's the fuss about. If it wasn't so highly priced, it would be reasonable, otherwise you are better blowing $60 at some nice fine dining restaurant.

I had catering done by Anatolia for my wedding on September 26, 2015, and it was absolutely fantastic, everyone enjoyed the food and wanted to know where was it from. There was a bit of confusion initially regarding the exact address and the restaurant compensated us with extra food, which was great service. I highly recommend their food and they are professional in catering, and Ayse the owner was of great help when it came to deciding what to go with! Thank you so much for making our event special!

My wife and I have been customers of Anatolia Restaurant for a long time. Their food, service and atmosphere definitely reflects Turkish cuisine and culture; staff is friendly, food is delicious, decoration is really nice and cozy. We had our wedding reception there and our guests went crazy about the food and service. You should also check out their Istanbul Nights that you can not experience anywhere else in Toronto. I definitely recommend Anatolia Restaurant to anyone who is looking for quality Turkish/Mediterranean Food.

Anatolia is a great dine-in experience. The food is spectacular and the portions are very hearty. My love of the restaurant led us to have them cater an event for us. Unfortunately they charge a full serving price per person, but only delivered a half portion with no sides. The each of the two large food trays purchased were 2/3 empty. We ended up ordering from another restaurant to make up the difference in food. In short, I highly recommend dining in. Avoid takeout or catering at all costs, it would cost you 1/2 price to treat your guests at the restaurant itself.

A nice cozy casual restaurant and friendly staff! They offer a small bowl of homemade hummus and warm bread while you wait for your food. We got the Beyti and the Black Sea Chicken with bulgur. Their dishes were extremely fresh and very tasteful. I have only tried a handful Turkish restaurants, but this is, by far, the best. I highly recommend eating there. Edit : only down side I would say is that parking there is very limited.

Food was ok. It was not bad but i have to say it reminded me of the knock off places saying “authentic cuisine”. Again, food was ok but nothing authentic that will make me return. Prices are literally disrespectful to the clients. Plates that are sold for 15-18$ elsewhere are sold 28-30$ here... Oh yea and for the connoisseurs, no tea offered on the house. Will not go back.

Great authentic Turkish food. Fantastic service. Would recommend you try the meat platter and anything with eggplant in the dish. The ambiance is nice - it could use some more decor but there are some really nice pieces around the restaurant. Will be returning to experience the 'Night in Istanbul" to try even more of the menu.

Went for dinner with two friends. Have read the reviews and many people claim that the prices are high. Here are my two cents: Our bill (three adults) came up to $130.00 and for that price we got a lot of food AND 1/2 litre of wine, dessert and coffee. If you compared it to other restaurants, what we paid was not a lot. Not to go every Friday/Saturday night but for any special occasion, Anatolia is definitely a huge contender to other, more expensive restaurants. Food: Absolutely excellent. We were told that everything is made at the premises (we totally believe it). The servings were very generous. The taste says "fresh" nice and loud. The bread was out of this world and so were the dips, meats and everything we ordered. Service: we were served by a nice young lady and a gentleman. What she did know about the food (we asked a lot of of questions), he answered flawlessly. Yes... parking could be a problem but... where isn't it in Toronto? Highly recommend it. Will go again and again...
