850 Pizzeria had an extremely quick service to churn out fresh tasting and deliciously made, wood-oven pies. The dough was well made and the toppings were just the right amount. The staff were friendly and it was lovely to hear Italian being spoken behind the counter by the wood-oven by the chef and his staff. Overall, a great little place for some tasty pizzas!

Our family ate at 850 Degrees last evening. It was warm, welcoming and the food was fantastic. We brought our 8 week year old son. Our server made sure we were comfortable and provide quick service with the limited time we had. Top marks for the place. I'm confident we will become regulars.

The pizza is amazing. Fresh local ingredients with lots of options to choose from. Apps and desserts are just as great. Pizza is wood fired pizza, doesn't disappoint. Be sure to try their spicey oil, it's amazing! Fairly priced and five star service!

So we ordered a Valentine's special from 850 Degrees: pizza, lasagna, 2 tiramisu desserts, and a bottle of local wine, everything was so fresh and delicious and it made our Valentine's dinner truly special! ???? Besides amazing food, I wanted to give a shout out to whoever in managing this place and everyone who is working there - chefs, kitchen staff, coordinators, managers. I witnessed amazing energy and team work while waiting to pay and pick up my order. It just made my day seeing a group of people having fun at work, singing, laughing, and doing such a great job adapting to these challenging circumstances. Thank you all and RESPECT! ????????????

I was super excited to get a gluten free pizza from this restaurant. I originally ordered off Door Dash and the pizza came completely destroyed. After calling 850 degrees they graciously offered me another one, that was not destroyed. They did not have to do this - but they are an amazing pizzeria who cares about their customers. The gluten free pizza was delicious! After being diagnosed with Celiacs disease a few months ago, I have been on the hunt for an authentic pizza that is also gluten free. I'm so happy to say I have found that place! I definitely recommend skipping ordering off door dash (as their drivers just don't seem to care about the food!) and instead give this restaurant a try but walking in or picking up. The picture attached is how my pizza arrived (top) and how it was supposed to arrive (bottom). Thank you again, your company went above and beyond for me and I am so thankful.

Our experience was overall good. However we went in the middle of the day and the waitress wasn't very engaging. When our pizza came, the lord Stanley, most of the toppings were to one side. The thing was that there wasn't enough people there for the chef to have to rush the pizza. The surrounding two inches of the pizza had no toppings. The sauce was good however. I would not get this style of pizza for takeout because it would become to wet with humidity in a box.

Quaint little place with the decor and atmosphere that reminded my British partner and his father of Pizza Express and Franco Manca back in England. The pizza topping combinations were interesting and paired very well with each other. I am not a fan of blue cheese (or Gorgonzola) but the way it was done on the Famous Five was delicious! My favourite of the night was the Rapini and Polenta appetizer. We would definitely revisit many times over to make our way through the menu.

Food was alright albiet pricey. Brought a chocolate birthday cake but couldn't bring it in as it was not specifically labelled nut-free. Gluten-free crust was very chewy and toppings kept sliding off slices. Pizza wasnt cut fully.

Delicious and fairly priced pizzeria. Good selection of appetizers, wine and pizzas. Everything is as locally sourced as possible and it shows. The pepperoni and thick cut bacon on my pizza was great. Dessert was tasty chocolate cake and tiramisu. Service was great.

This place is great. The pizza is delicious ( we tried the Muskoka, shinny and superman pizzas ) and all of them were great. Service was perfect, quick and came with a smile. We went here on a Wednesday night, and we may not have experienced the busy times. The place is designed very simple yet modern. This place is casual. I definitely want to go back and try more on menu. Coffee is good. I will be back soon !

The only good thing i have to say is the staff is nice and they welcome you with a pitcher of water and a glass. I think every restaurant should do that. The food is very minimal for a high price. If you like paying 20 bucks for a piece of pita bread with 6 small cheese curds, 6 small pieces of meat and a few leafs that have absolutely no taste. Then this is the place for you! Will definitely not be coming back to this place. Domino's for example, can stuff your face with amazing pizza for 20 bucks, unlike these guys.

850 has some of the best pizza I've ever had. I do not know who came up with the menu but they disserve a pat on the back for having a wonderful palette. I love trying new pizza places but now I have to convince my wife because she keeps dragging me back here (not that its upsetting). Garlic bread is incredible, the salad was amazing (great sauce) and the the pizza are quite frankly perfect. Every time we order I try something else on the menu and every time I'm NEVER disappointed.

Even not worth for 1 star, I just moved to south Etobicoke and tried this restaurant 2 times because it's just in front of my home, but I will never visit again. I am telling you this restaurant needs to learn/improve alot of things primarily the food and service.. when I visited first time, I had the vegan meatballs and I literally couldn't eat it and end up just having the Penne. Second visit, table was not ready on time and no sorry & excuse at all from server, instead told me to wait 1hour ( why did I book?) Ridiculous Hey Chris Beard I didn't make any fake reviews because I already visited your place two times. If you don't know the mistake your server made and just blame customers, that's your choice but not smart. (Your server won't tell everything, better you watch it)

Called ahead to ask if the patio was open and if it was busy. The person who answered said they weren't taking reservations, so I said we didn't mind to walk-in and wait. She said that was ok. When we arrived, a different person greeted us and said they were not accepting walk ins, and then argued with me saying that nobody told us we could walk in. She even called on the other person to "prove me wrong," and informed me that she told me on the phone that I could not walk in- a lie. Why would I call ahead and then show up anyway if I was told there was no availability? Was trying to save myself a trip. Great pizza. Rude, horrible staff.

This was our second visit to this restaurant. Their creative menu of specialty, wood fired pizzas is not to be missed. We arrived early to find that it was already getting busy at almost 5:00 PM, so I recommend reservations.

Tried this place on the recommendation of a friend. It was the four of us. We didnt know it would be packed but we were greeted right away and we didnt have to wait more than 5 minutes. Food was amazing and different from most other pizza joints. Our host emi made sure we were looked up after regardless of how busy it got. So, The staff was very friendly and made sure you didn’t have a bad experience. The atmosphere was very welcoming and you can see the food being prepped in front of you thanks to an open style kitchen. Best to go in groups and call ahead.

Such a great restaurant!! On my first visit there, we made a reservation on their website, which was super easy and convenient. When we arrived, we were taken our table, inside a tent with a patio heater. It was even better than I imagined!! We were very comfortable with our coats on and in the tent and our food stayed warm as well. Awesome food and awesome service. I was so impressed!!

Was curious to try this place out - every time I drive by, it’s busy. Well, I’m happy to report that the food, ambiance and service were all amazing. Had the garlic bread, Grand River pizza (+mushrooms, which weren’t cremini, maybe oyster) and lobster ravioli. Garlic bread may be the best I’ve had, and the lobster in the ravioli was generous, although the portion of pasta was small (4 large ravioli) the price was worth it, all considered. Looking forward to dining here again!

I have just ordered Antipasto that featured "a selection of meats, roasted vegetables and cheese, served with pizza bread". The last one was tasty and fresh, but instead of roasted vegetables i got pickled, I guess from cans. As for meat I got spicy salami and ham shavings, not exactly what I imagined as roasted vegetables and meat, I expected something cooked or roasted, but not like processed food, that I can get from Sobeys.

We recently went to 850 for one of our first date nights since having a baby. We were served by Erica, what a fantastic experience. Our daughter was abnormally fussy but Erica was super accommodating. The food was terrific and we ordered more than we can handle. The antipasto was gigantic for 16$! Keep it up.

Food was amazing. Reminds me of back home. But the seating arrangement ruined it for me. I understand that they're trying to get it to be a fun/sociable environment, but sometimes you wanna just have some privacy with your partner and I was unable to say a word without another couple not even an arms length away hearing everything I'm saying. Still 4 stars because of the food, there's no denying the quality.

The pizza is great! The Rocket pizza is my favourite. I have ordered several times and it never disappoints me. The Warm chicken salad is tasty too. Yesterday was my first time trying the Beef and Lobster ravioli, both dishes were delicious. The only downside for the pasta dishes is that they are very small portions, only 4 ravioli for the price is not worthy in my opinion.

I was super excited to try this restaurants gluten free garlic bread and focaccia bread. The service was good with friendly staff however sadly, the food was as hard as a rock! Completely inedible. I called and complained and got offered a refund and was informed that the gluten free bread is a lil crispier and made fresh everyday but regardless there is a difference between crispy and inedible. Wouldn't recommend.

I visited 850 Degrees Pizzeria with my family and absolutely loved it! We've visited a lot of restaurants that claim that they serve a wood oven pizza, where you don't see the oven. Not here. That huge oven is right there so you can watch your pizza cooking. We each tried a different pizza so that we could share and they were each fantastic. The dough is so important in a good pizza and theirs is flavourful and cooked perfectly. Add a bottle of wine or a local beer from their great selection and you have a wonderful meal, charming ambiance and great service!

We just had dinner at 850 degree pizza. We have never been there before tonight. The service was amazing and the food even better. We enjoyed every single plate from the "antipasto" to the "dessert"and we had a really nice time thanks to the severs so present and attentive to us. It's a cozy and friendly place. Even if we were so full we could not say no to a slice of tiramisu. Being Italian we are really picky about tiramisu but this one was so close to the real one. The taste and the consistency of the cream was perfect. We will come back there soon! I really recommend it!

Food is good but if you want to eat here you better get a reservation. They advertised that they were open on Canada Day but would not consider you as a customer without a reservation. This location also has terrible customer service. They answer they phone for the Bloor location (now closed) but did not say they were lakeshore. Made a reservation only to show up to a closed location. A bit of notice may have been nice. Good pizza is a dime a dozen in Toronto. No need to go here.

Worst customer service in the neighborhood. The waitress was rude! I had my dinner in the patio and the table was shaky. I told her that the table was shaky and her first question was ‘did you move it?’ with bad attitude. Firstly, I didn’t not move the table. Secondly, even though I moved the table, she shouldn’t have said that and should be more helpful fixing the issue instead of blaming customer since you get tips for living!

Had dinner here with a friend mid-summer. A few notes: 1. The pizza is amazing! Wood oven, excellent ingredients - they definitely get this right! 5 stars! 2. The ambiance is just not there, if you’re interested in hearing your partner/friends. It can be extremely loud in here, which can unfortunately be distracting. I don’t recommend if you’re looking for something romantic or if you’re discussing something private. 3. We shared the tomato and mozzarella salad; in the middle of summer, I would expect “vine ripened tomatoes” to be more red than pink. Ours were quite unripe, light pink, and hard. So disappointing! I would expect that from a chain, not from a neighbourhood mainstay like this. 4. If you check in with Yelp, they’ll give you a free garlic bread. It’s nothing fancy, just pizza dough baked with spices, but hey, it’s free! I may go back for pizza again, as that’s why people come here; the volume is the main reason why I may not - and those depressing mid-summer pink, hard, tomatoes!

850 is a star in this neighbourhood, always buzzing in peak hours with locals and families. Service is always friendly despite the busy atmosphere. These days I'm ordering through DoorDash because I won't give up my 850! Fresh and flavourful ingredients, thoughtfully combined, plus a light and tasty crust, make these pizzas stand out. The other menu items I've tried (esp. the Caesar salad) have exceeded my expectations, and the coffee is also delicious.

Nice, quaint mom and pop style pizza restaurant. Our table of 5 went for an early lunch and had ordered pizzas, charcuterie board, and a couple apps. The spicy marinara bread app was okay, nothing to write home about. The pizza was the best tasting thing we ordered but maybe not valued at downtown Toronto pricing. An honorable mention to the charcuterie board's size however the cheese may have gotten us sick that evening. We did receive extremely friendly service but on the fence about returning due to the illness.

My mother first told me about this place after seeing it on the Food Network's show "You Gotta Eat Here", and asked me to try it out. Ever since it's become one of my favourite restaurants. Cozy environment, tons of variety with their pizzas. My favourite is their garlic bread with garlic butter and mozzarella. It can get a bit crowded and cramped on weekends and evenings, but they take reservations. They also have a great patio in the summer!

I went here with a couple of friends after seeing it on "You Gotta Eat Here", I am all about trying new pizza places. I would say the staff was very friendly, and attentive. Wonderful service and even better food! I was only in Etobicoke for 1 day visiting a friend but I'll be back to this place everytime I'm in the area from now on. The dough is amazingly thin while also having a good texture to keep the toppings from falling off. I had this during a rainy day on their patio and the server was awesome. I thought I was going to get rained on but the patio has some great umbrellas to keep everyone dry. I'll be recommending this place to anyone who asks me for a good pizza joint.

The cheese board at 850 Degrees is simply marvelous, given the price of $12. The sheer variety of cheeses, the quality of the fruit compote, and the fluffiness of the bread make the appetizer well worth it. The pizza I ordered was laden with mushrooms, but could have done with a bit more cheese. The service was fantastic. Our waitress, Emiliana, was friendly and did all she could to make our experience pleasant. A word of caution though: the place is small and often packed. I would highly recommend making a reservation. Wait-times can be between 10-15 minutes.

When credit is due you write a review. Drove by this Pizzeria last week and wanted to give it a try I guess the name is the temperature of the oven, before I get on with the review understand that this is not 100% real wood fired oven I know people look for this but it is a pretty good pizza. Started off with the free garlic bread checking in with the Yelp app gets you that. The bread is made from the pizza dough which is napolitana Style soft and doughy so that made me prepare order my pizza well done or a little more cooked as I don't like the soft chewy dough. The garlic bread was pretty good we also got the meatballs I can't compare them to Mama's but they were also pretty good now to the main event Pizza. I got a Grand River well done add mozzarella Di bufala when the pizza is cooked. They use doppio zero flour they use San Marzano tomatoes those are the key quality ingredients to making a great pizza. Ingredients are collection of Ontario meats. Perfect for the carnivore who can’t decide. Spicy calabrese salami ,local ham, wild boar sausage, pork pepperoni , Niagara prosciutto fior dil latte cheese & tomato sauce I added buffalo mozzarella. It was a very good pizza the only downfall is the ingredients with all slide off service was great. it's a new age restaurant where your elbow will be hitting the person next to you so it's not a good place to go on a first date and it's not a good place to go for an important meeting. It's a restaurant you're supposed to go there enjoy the atmosphere the ambience and to eat good food good pizza.

I was hesitant to try pizzas outside Italy due previous bad experiences but my Italian friends recommended me 850 Degrees Pizzeria and I took my family friends to celebrate their daughters birthday, we all enjoyed this place and loved the pizzas!!! Kudos to the Pizzaioli Gean Paulo and co worker they are a lovely team with amazing hands. The dough had the Italian taste and texture and the toppings were very flavory and fresh. We loved the atmosphere, it was cozy with live music and super friendly service. Love the combination of Italian taste with Canadian ambiance. They played Happy Birthday to my friend and brought her favourite dessert, she loved it. Overall very satisfied and definitely will come back and bring more friends.

Very nice place for the area. The service was a tad slow. The prices are certainly high for the area, and slightly high for what you get. However what you get is very good, from the appetizer to the pizza, it's all very good, but not great. You're going to enjoy everything no doubt, but it doesn't quite reach the upper eschalons where joints like Libretto and Via Mercanti reside. This is a great choice for the neighbourhood.

The pizza is B.U.O.N.I.S.S.I.M.A!! That of course means really really really good. Made the real Italian way in their stone oven, it both tastes like home (I'm Italian) and also like Canada, since they amazingly mix the traditional Italian way with local Canadian ingredients. The result is a pizza that is both familiar but also something new and original. Very interesting. Bravi. My new favorite so far. We also tried their homemade tiramisù, that was good and well balanced and the chocolate cake. Limoncello to finish the dinner (nice and smooth) and coffee (coffee could be better). Not cheap, but the quality was high, so I'm ok with paying a little more for a great meal. This review is for the location on Lakeshore.

I made an inquiry and Chris assured us my daughter's allergies could be accommodated. Chris just advised us to mention the allergies upon placing the order. My cousin did so, and we thoroughly enjoyed our pizzas. My daughter was especially thrilled that her food allergies didn't prevent her from partaking. Thank you 850 Degrees! Visited this place a number of times, amazing pizza but one particular female server had been extremely rude on not just one but two occasions being there. After mentioning we couldn't sit inside after ordering take out(although the place was becoming empty) she also agrressively tried to grab the box out of my hands after. Other staff are amazing, but even the first time being served by this server and she had a terrible attitude the first encounter ASWELL. Definitely just grab your pizza to go because the food is amazing otherwise :)

My seat was rigth on top of AC vent that you could not shut off. Could not move to another seat. Live performance by the singer was not bad, but it was too loud if you sat at a table close to him. You could not hear your friends talk. So... Bad food, very uncomfortable seating location, too loud to talk to friends. The only thing that made my visit tolerable is that I was with my good friends.

What amazing service! The waitress was so kind and patient with us. We had a reservation for 8 and some people ended up being late, but she assured us to take our time and not worry. She was super quick on her feet, and took plates away without us asking, brought water without us asking. So pleasant! I wish I got her name, she was working on Sunday nov,21st around 12:30pm. The food tasted great and it came out fresh and hot. I highly recommend the seafood ravioli, it was my highlight! They take pride in using local/Canadian produce, and also selling drinks from Canadian owned companies. Everything about this pizzeria is a 10/10.

They were doing a VERY good job of store arrangement to manage proper "social distancing". The menu was enticing with many seemingly great options to choose from. Ordered "Bloor on the Park" pizza without mushrooms, because mushrooms should stay in the soil in my humble opinion. Also ordered Beef Ravioli which were delicious, and (temperature, not spicy) hot. We also tried a Gnocchi dish which was also very flavorful and hot. Plus side: Food is tasty Food served hot Minus side: Portions were small Prices were not. I love this place! They have the BEST pizza! And salad! And everything else on their menu is amazing too! They use quality ingredients and their cooks know what they are doing and it sets them apart from any other restaurant option in the area. The live music is perfect for date night :)

It's the smallest little spot, but in the summer they usually open up a fenced in little patio on the sidewalk in front of the place, but the food is... oh geeze I don't think I can accurately come up with a string of words that would do this place justice. It's a pizzeria... but the ravioli is so damn good too. It's so rare to find a place that makes everything on the menu, and I mean absolutely everything on the menu, perfectly. So not only is the food here really, really, really good, but the staff are all sweet angel babies too. Very friendly, very sweet, the place is so small that they couldn't forget about their tables even if they tried so you're taken care of, but it's not over the top. They (I haven't been in a while so I could be wrong) have live music some nights too which is really nice, and the people that play are all very talented. Love this spot.

I've been ordering from 850 for a while now and the taste, quality and service never disappointed! Last night an order was placed through Skip the Dishes and unfortunately there was an error on Skip the Dishes' side. Even after 850 closed, they called to let us know that the driver did not show up, but they will stay late if we wanted to pick it up - so kind! I raced over and not only did they have tips and tricks to reheat it (as it had been sitting waiting for the delivery driver), they gave me our order on the house! Any company can have an incredible product, but outstanding service is whole other ball game. I'm so happy to say that 850 knocks service out of the park - home run guys! Thanks for all the yummy Sunday night dinners and kudos to your nov 15/20 closing staff for going above and beyond, even once you were closed. Cheers!

The spicy oil tasted amazing but heed the warning from the severs, it is spicy. Small place, reservation are recommended but they will accommodate walk-ins with window seating. Servers are nice and seating is comfortable.

I was still able to enjoy exemplary gluten free garlic bread and pasta. The place has a great modern, casual, and clean look and feel to it. The service is top-notch. I have to agree with Lynn's review. There was one waitress who just did not like us. After about a 45 minute wait, one of us actually went inside and asked if we could place an order when she got the chance. She was chatting with her co-workers which is fine, if she would have been willing to help us. There was nobody else inside the restaurant and only one other table outside. They didn't look understaffed. When she finally came outside, she continued to serve the other table but ignored us for another 15 minutes. Our table was very quiet. We didn't say anything rude before or after, but it was clearly intentional and felt a a bit immature. When it was time for the bill, another waitress stepped in and took it for us. This waitress was really nice... This was in September 12th so hopefully things have changed. But I don't think any of us will return because it was so uncomfortable and unprofessional the first time.

This restaurant will not survive with this model of humiliating and racist treatment. The waitress asked us to leave the restaurant because there was reservation but half of the restaurant was empty. We were respectful to the waitress and we gave her really good tip. At the moment I was shocked and we all left. My girlfriend and her daughter were exchanging gifts. Now that I think about it after a couple of days, I want people to read our experience and not go to that place. What happened to us was absolutely uncalled for. The pizza is oily, overpriced. It was mostly dough, oil, and couple of bruised mint leaves. The pizzas are $17 and will not fill a 130 lbs woman.

It's quaint, if you like the small, craft, artsy ambience, then you should go. I find the pizzas quite small, the cheese platter looks like my child made it for me. The apple jam is wonderful though. The food, is good but it needs a little bit more tweaking on some of their recipes. I can feel the love and effort in the making of food, it's just needs to be a little more pizazz, I know that sounds stupid, but if you ask me to come there for pizza, sorry I'll go if I have to. This is just constructive criticism, I support small businesses, hopefully this helps. I've eaten different kinds of pizzas, either from artisans, different nonnas, from Italy, my own kitchen. The people are great, cute setting, food needs improvement, especially if it has to reflect on the price.

A fantastic neighbourhood spot! My wife and I have been coming to 850 degrees pretty well since their opening days. We've always enjoyed the pizza and couldn't be happier that they've succeeded and grown to open up a second location. The staple pizzas never disappoint like the Lord Stanley and the Rocket are always favorites of mine and new ones are always being added too. We'll often order the Antipasto to start which helps to make sure we've got some leftover slices to take home with us later!

Had 2 pizzas and a small Caesar, which was the better part of the meal. The pizzas were below average. The Bloor by the Park did not contain crispy bacon, it was sliced peameal bacon. However, the pepperoni was crispy and the sauce was tasty, but the pizza was room temperature. The Shinny had oyster mushrooms, some were tougher than I would have liked and it was scarce of ingredients. I also did not like the sauce or crust so not a repeat overall.

The lunch menu pizza was fantastic and perfect size. good selection of beer (in cans) complimented the pies. Service was friendly and quick; food was served inside of 10 minutes after we ordered (we had 5 of us too!). Bill for 4 lunch pizzas with 2 beers, desert and a cappuccino + tip was $100 all in. Price wise, that's decent for the city. Definitely will visit again.

I really enjoyed the pizza. I ordered the 'Group of 7 pizza'. I'm Italian and I'm picky when it comes to food. Probably from my experience working as a cook under chefs like Mark McEwan. I noticed a review that compares 850 to the Domino's Pizza 'franchise'. Domino's uses frozen ingredients, including frozen cheese. This is hardly a fair comparison. The price of the pizza I ordered was very fair. The waitress was just lovely. Very attentive and sweet, and the whole experience made me come back the next day for another 'Group of 7 pizza.' This will be a regular dining place for me when I want pizza. Thx 850, keep up the good work!

Used to be a pretty run down area. Glad to see artisan shops popping up like this one. Great service, excellent prices and tasty food. One suggestion would be to make the tomato sauce a touch thicker to avoid making the crust too moist. That's just my preference though. Other than that, excellent!!

Amazing patio dinner at 850 Degrees. From the servers to the food, everything was excellent. The Caesar salad was to die for, and the pizzas were one of the best we’ve had in the city. Would highly recommend the David Bolland (especially for those that like it a bit spicy) and Bloor by the Park. Make sure you ask for their Chili Oil, it pairs perfect with their pizzas!

Great wood oven pizza in the heart of the 'New Toronto's neighbourhood in Etobicoke. Service was great, the ambianceanages to balance modern, Indy and casual with exposed brick and restored original shop windows and moldings. The kitchen is open to the dining area so you can watch the magic as your pie is put together. Menu is great with a selection of za's, such as the Red rocket, named for various hometown fixtures. Staff was excellent, service was quick and parking available on the street out front. Definitely recommend

I started coming to this restaurant before it became so popular and you HAD to make reservations to even be able to come in. So I made reservations for tonight with my boyfriend, we arrived 5 minutes early and are greeted. I noticed the restaurant was packed, I Immediately noticed a table become free. I assumed it would be our table, the server comes up to us and tells us that there are no tables and we'd be waiting 15-20 minutes for a table. That didn't sit well with me so I said I was leaving. And with that being said I don't think I will ever come back to this place.

I purchased their famous five pizza today The attendant prepared the wrong order and added extra topping which I never asked on my pizza. On top of that they have added extra salt ( 2-3 times than regular) on my pizza which made my pizza awful Will never come back again to pay 20$ medium size pizza just because it is stone baked.

The last time I was here was many years ago and I can say that I've completely was blown away with the service and the food (don't even get me started). My wife and I just did a walk in (reservations are highly recommended) and sat in the super cozy and quiet window corner for 2. Just remember that there is a seating time of one hour in the dining room and unlimited time by the window seating). Would come back here definitely and do the experience all over again!

Excellent Gluten Free pizza! You have to ask for it well done, if you don’t it’s really floppy and not very good. Forgot to ask last time, called after about 10 minutes to request it and they wouldn’t do it for me :( super disappointing

Wow! This place does not disappoint! Be sure to call ahead and make reservations, this pizzeria is busy and for good reason. Located on Lakeshore just east of 30th Street, it has a huge range of pizza choices, appetizers and local craft beers. As an appetizer we had the meat balls and pizza bread and Caesar salad. We shared 3 different pizza between the 4 of us. All were delicious. Honestly one of the best meals I’ve had a long time. The night we dined at 850, there was live music. It wasn’t too loud or intrusive- actually created a nice vibe. Service was exceptional. Thanks for a great dining experience. Highly recommend.

My son brought me here for Mother's Day 3yrs ago and we have enjoyed it every time we have gone back...which had been a lot. I've invited many of my friends and family and they all have gone back as well. The food is absolutely delicious, one of best pizza places in the city.

Not only is this a good pizza place, but any dish such as salads and appetizers can be a real treat here! As well as their monthly specials. For example, August has Duck Risotto. Just let that sink in how beautiful that can taste! Must eat, must try experience. :)

Delicious food and friendly service! We arrived early for our reservation and they accommodated us, which is amazing as we know seating is limited due to the pandemic. Definitely get the polenta with rappinni, it reminds me of a dish my grandmother made! Delicious pizza too.

850 is by far one of my favorite restaurants on Lakeshore Blvd! The pizza is phenomenal, if you enjoy gourmet pizza you have to try this place! The ingredients are locally sourced and very fresh. The staff is lovely and the service is great. The atmosphere is playful as you can watch your pizza being made. As well they have live music on Thursday nights. Make sure to make a reservations on the weekend and evenings the place gets quite busy...

Extremely rude services! My husband and I went to have a pizza and the person who was at the door practically kicked us out of the site because we did not have reservations. We told the lady that we will wait and she said no without reservations. They were 5 free tables. Nice restaurants try to accommodate their guests not to make them run.

We love 850! It's a great family restaurant. The pizza is delicious! We love the classic St. John's (their Margherita) and it's always cooked to perfection. If you love pizza you gotta give 850 a try! The pasta is pretty good. We tried the pasta with meatballs recently and found the meatballs were a little dry, but that's the first time we've tried that particular dish. The servers are the best - always friendly and so good with kids. The two servers who have been there for years have watched our kids and family grow.

I don't think this place would know a pizza if someone threw it in their face. Undercooked. Ingredients came from No Frills. Looks like a nice place but they should send someone to Italy or even Woodbridge to learn how to use a wood oven. If they wish I'll volunteer to teach them but its not an area people appreciate good food so who really cares. If you do then take a drive up to Woodbridge and eat well. If walking by just turn 850 degrees and walk the other way. Oh and ill send them a pizza cutter because obviously theirs doesn't work.....

The pizza portions were perfect for myself and my family, the chef even came out and talked to my mainly Italian speaking aunt, to help her understand the menu. I have gone there many times before and still go as my number 1 pizza choice. If you are to go there I would recommend the 'Rocket' I loved taste and have gone there many times just for that one topping.

Okay. Feels like their oven wasn't hot enough. Ingredients definitely were a step down from Gatto, Annette, and Revolver. If it was around the corner we'd be back due to the convenience, but there's better pizza available. Very nice people though.

The toppings on the pizza were very high quality, mozzarella was very creamy, and the pasta was rich and filling. We had the Tiramisu for dessert and it was one of the best ones I've had. I loved the flakes of chocolate and fruit on the top(blueberries, wildberries and strawberry). Will definitely go back again with family.

This place was amazing!!! I cannot believe how much fun we had. The food was incredible, our waiter was amazing, the ambience was so cozy and cute and although it was pretty loud with all the people in the dining room the music was at just the right volume that you could enjoy it while having a conversation. I hate it when we have to speak so loud just to be able to hear each other. We sat at the bar nook by the window and it was the best place to sit, the fairy lights and decor really set the vibe. 1000000% would recommend 850 degrees. They're a small business who support other local businesses to source their products and I love that! It really shows and tastes. Also, I can't believe they have beef pepperoni, game changer for non pork eaters. YUMMMM!! It wasn't exactly an inexpensive dinner but incredible value for the quality you're getting

The margherita pizza was very good. perfect ingredients. The gnocchi was also good but I felt like it was overcooked. I like mine more al dente, but that's just a personal preference. I still give this place 5 stars. Amazing food, reminds me of Italy. I will be back for the St. John's pizza.

Fabulous pizza! Perfect crust, great sauce, and mouth-watering cheese. You can definitely tell that they use only the highest quality ingredients. And the owners are such wonderful people. My son loves the pizza so much that we ordered it for his birthday party. We will definitely return and recommend the place to all our friends.

One of the most pleasant pizza joints I have ever had the pleasure of going to. The atmosphere was perfect with the live music of cultural classics, along with the bright and inviting decor; everything about this place was great. Our server was excellent, attentive, knowledgeable of their pizza's and local beers (which is important to me). The food itself was also great; a good selection of different pizzas made from an oven in their open kitchen that you can view from your seat. Definitely one to add to my favorites list, and a gem along the Lakeshore. Thanks 850 Degrees Pizzeria for the wonderful experience, I can't say enough great things about you.

Ok place. Service is very good, the girls were attentive and always smiling, but slow. Not impressed with the appetizers, as the salad and the polenta were tiny and overpriced. The pizza was tasty, but too thin for me. The crust looked consistent and Fuller, then by the time u got to the ingredients, the base was soggy and so thin, you couldn't even lift the slice without having the whole thing collapse. I don't know what it is with people and paper thin pizza in Toronto! Have a pizza in Naples! Then let's talk. I would go back for the taste and all but never again for the actual food The group of 7 pizza wasn't anything great. I would stick to regular S.John Margherita

I was extremely frustrated with the level of service from 850 Degrees tonight. I have been a loyal customer and local resident on the area since 850 opened. I have been eating there with my family at least every 3 months for years and tonight was an unacceptable level of customer service. I arrived with 2 children and a family of 4 looking for a quick dinner. There were 8 available tables and I was told by staff that all the open tables had reservations within the half hour and that they were not able to seat me. I explained that I would be finished my meal within the hour as I had two young children with me. But they insisted that those tables were taken, and they refused to seat us. This was extremely frustrating as I have been a loyal customer for well over 2 years to stand there with so many empty tables and wait staff refusing to seat me, was unacceptable. Needless to say, I left unhappy and instead dinned at another local pizza restaurant where i had an outstanding level of customer service.

So one fine day I felt like going to this place alone. I have been there once and the service and food has been great. But when I went there 2nd time, the service was extremely poor. I was sitting outside and no one came when I wanted seasoning. The Pizza was a little hard and I ended up leaving a little bit of it. I love their Tiramisu though.

Fellow friends with allergies— rejoice! This understated and hidden gem in Etobicoke serves up the best vegan and gluten free wood fire oven pizza in the city! The GF crust here is chewy, tasty, and perfectly charred. The vegan cheese used (VegCheese) is nut and gluten free, and complements the earthy and herbaceous sauce and vegetables superbly. Most pizza places that offer vegan cheese use Daiya, so this is a considerable step up. We had the “Eh!” and the Long Branch (vegan cheese subbed for an extra charge), and both were delicious and of great value for their price points. Heads up: one 12” GF pizza is enough for two, unless you’re looking to take plenty of leftovers (which is still delicious the following day). Service was friendly and helpful. Lots of parking nearby. COVID friendly accommodations: a small yet tasteful patio set out at the front with barriers between tables. In sum: best vegan GF pizza in the GTA (unless I’ve missed out on some?). Will definitely be back (and am hopeful for new vegan/veg options- maybe a white pizza?)!

I came here for the first time today. Service was quick and friendly, the atmosphere was comfortable and made me feel appreciated as a customer. All employees in the house were smiling and courteous. We had: Gluten-Free St. John's (classic margherita), traditional-crust Muskoka (wild boar sausage and rapini) and the entree-sized buffalo mozzarella and tomato salad. The gluten-free crust here is the best anywhere. I haven't had an authentic pizza in over 2 years; today, I was taken aback. If you ask my boyfriend about his Muskoka pizza, he would tell you it was the best darn pizza he's had. A good pizza is all about the dough: the gluten-free is nearly as soft as traditional crusts, and light-years ahead of any other gluten-free in the city. The traditional crust is soft, fluffy, yet crispy on the outside, and not too thick and heavy. The garlic bread that came with the salad had my boyfriend's attention like I did when we first met. The tomatoes were cool, but had not lost their flavour; the arugula was fresh and crisp, and the large dollops of buffalo mozzarella and drizzling of olive oil gave a beautifully light and balanced beginning to our pizza experience. We drove across the city to come here. We would easily drive the other way around the world to get here if that was the only way. We will be back. And we have no problem making reservations if that's what's needed during busy times.
