Amazing Thai food! ♡ If you haven't tried it yet definately try out their lunch menu. It's delicious and well priced with a little appetizer and salad included! My hardest choice is picking between the Thai ice tea and iced coffee.

Best Thai food I have had in Greater Victoria. Large menu, but that didn't seem to hurt the quality. Service was also quick. The space is small so be prepared to wait or call ahead if you visit during peak times.

Authentic Thai food! We order from Green Elephant around once a week or at least once every two weeks. Their pad see ew is soooo tasty, lots of veggies and they don't cheap out on the protein. We spent over 70 dollars on 4 dishes and only 2 were barely edible. I don't understand the good reviews? We called to explain how disappointed we were and they refused to do anything. 70 bucks for inedible takeout? Don't waste your money. What kind of business would not want to rectify a situation with an unhappy customer? I should have taken a picture of the food.

I love love LOVE this place!! The food is consistently delicious, and when they're open for dine-in the atmosphere is lovely and cozy. The staff are attentive, but not pushy. My favourites are the Crab Rangoon (you MUST try it!) and the Gang Normai red curry with coconut rice. It's just to die for, 12/10 every time! Best neighborhood restaurant ever.

Really impressive little joint. After a lunch at a neighboring greasy mess the day before, this place was rejuvenating. I had really good food for the low! Their lunch special, basically 13$ that'll get you a filling entree, a salad, a soup, a drink (go for the Thai tea of course) and good smiley service quick and tasty in an elegant setting. I wished I wasn't on a lunch break, but rather on a date night with my wife which I will be coming back for soon!

The establishment was clean and the staff was very friendly. We had one of the lunch deals. Pad Thai with chicken and spiced to medium. The Pad Thai was ok, the salad was small but the dressing was good. The spring roll again was ok but nothing to write home about. All in all the food was ok and I would go back. For under 12 bucks I shouldn't complain.

Wonderful little family run place (I believe). Servers were attentive and helpful with ordering. The tofu green curry and Massaman pork curry were 10/10 and will bring us back for sure. Best thai food experience we've had in Victoria (and have been frequenting other Thai places for years). Such a fantastic little hidden gem, and best food find in Victoria in awhile!!! Yes it feels a bit informal like independent family run restaurants often do - but it's decorated so nicely, fresh flowers on the table and professional service, so no complaints here. Definitely give these guys a visit for authentic, flavorful dishes!! Excellent dining experience :)

They charged me $5 for delivery o a large order and then left us wait I g for 2hours. Unacceptable. If you're going to offer delivery with those wait times then you cannot charge delivery fees. Period. You need to give your head a shake, thats absolutely appalling for mediocre food.

Lela, my oldest daughter is 50 & has three young children. She loves Thai Cuisine and would love to go more often, however her kids complain if food is too spicy. But this food is not at all overly hot, and though they're 11 & 12 years old they'd find it quite acceptable. And sure they'd be fascinated by the elegant intricate decor, which would keep them busy looking and talking about it until the food arrives! At 78 I'm a foodie and quite fussy, but I give five stars for everything in the way of truly gourmet fulfillment.

THE very best Thai food I have ever enjoyed. Both my wife and I agree. The service was special, warm, educational and friendly. We had green curry and pad Thai. Nicest thai food ever. Currys are so good that its out of this world. Super friendly staff that make u feel welcome. I got a side of rice after i had scooped out the food off the plate. Coupled with the spicy coconut curry sauce it was one of my favorite things ive ever eaten. With this little mango candy at the end, u really feel like uve had the tropical experiance. I lived in hawaii for 2 months in oahu at sunset beach under a mango tree when i wasnt snorkeling on the beach. Bangcock is supposed to be the third best city in the world to eat according to some food shows. Its thailands capital and the restaurant people are from there. Run to this restaurant for an authentic thai experiance. .

Just enjoyed a really great meal at Thai Green Elephant. Looks a little sketchy from outside but just step in the door and it's very different. Very clean and nicely appointed. Staff are super friendly and food comes quickly. I had the Tofu Pad Med Mamuang and a small egg fried rice. Everything was very fresh and the sauce on this dish had just the right hint of spice and was super tasty. Enjoyed spring rolls to start, very crisp and full of flavour. I can't say a bad thing about this place except I wish it was located in my hometown on the mainland.

Wow amazing! I think there may have been one other time in my life that I've been moved to make a food review but Thai Green Elephant knocked it out of the park! We had the 43 Pad Thai w chicken, the 50 Gang Normal w prawns and an order of coconut rice. Every bite was an amazing flavor blast. The portions were great. So impressed with everything. We just moved into the neighborhood and hit the jackpot. Best Thai I've ever had. Well done, will definitely be back!

These people just tried to suggest to me that their vegetables cost more than their meat does when I asked for a cheap vegetarian menu, as if I was putting them out. So brocolli costs more than beef? Haha, That's hysterical. That's simply a worker willing to lie in order to create profit for their company. I hung up after dealing with her upset counteraction with me and went to Noodle Box which is by FAR the best Thai restaurant in town which serves diets of all kinds with no dismay. IF YOU WANT THAI FOOD GO TO NOODLE CART. Not noodle box (crappy food) but noodle cart. Their food is like 3 times better and far more authentic than this sham of a Thai food.

Best green curry I have ever had. Very unique tasting, but not so wildly different that it was unrecognizable or anything. I'm not sure how they did it and I'm very curious. It was a bit thicker, and tasted almost like they mixed peanut sauce in with the coconut milk - as odd as that sounds. Absolutely amazing. Don't forget to order rice with it though, as it does not come with rice by default.

Absolutely delicious food - I went with seven other people (including a baby and an 11 year old) and everyone was satisfied. Tonnes of different food options at a range of prices. There were so many good looking things on the menu I'm going to have to go back at least three more times to fill my boots with different dishes. I also loved that every menu item had a picture of the dish beside it. It made ghee whole menu look that much more yummy. The service was really good too, the ladies there are polite and prompt.

Nearly perfect Vegan Pad Thai Pak. They made me a Vegan version of the Pad Thai Pak by holding out the egg. It came in one of the traditional square take-out boxes with the metal handle and was packed to the brim. If you like healthy food, you will appreciate that the noodles are cooked "just right" and are not charred like at other restaurants (Noodle Box). Everything was very tasty and nicely portioned - the baked tofu, the nuts, the sprouts and vegetables. It was not too salty nor too watery like a lot of take-out noodles can be. I would order again in a snap.

The Thai food is exceptionally good. The flavour base in all the dishes we had was complex and fresh. The cooked meats were tender. All the curries are coconut milk based, which is great if you're lactose intolerant. Restaurant does get cold in the winter everytime the door opens, bring a sweater! Forgot to take pictures, food was too good and we were hungry!

Tasty, but very expensive. And if you can't finish a noodle dish, reheating it will turn the noodles to mush. Yuck. $15.00 for 2 cups of soup, which is mostly coconut milk and some kind of meat broth is definitely a rip off. In fact, most of their dishes are grossly overpriced. I'm surprised they've lasted this long.

I've ordered from here before and have always had good food but when I ordered take out on Tuesday night and opened it up, I realized they had got my order wrong. I was really disappointed because they gave me phad thai which I cannot eat. I called them and and left a message to let them know about the mix up. I knew that it was dinner hour and they would be busy but I asked them to call back and let all my contact information. As of yet, I have not received a call back. I felt was really poor customer service on their part, I will not be back.

Great small restaurant. Good service, we will definitely return and would recommend. Excellent proactive labeling on menu for people with food sensitivities or allergies ;MUCH appreciated being a Celiac myself. Thank you! The only thing lacking is accessibility for handicap. If you have issues with stairs this might pose an issue. But they do offer take out or delivery.

Very good Pad Thai. The server was awesome and very attentive. The food was wonderful. We requested extra extremely spicy, it was quite spicy but not overwhelming. The flavour was great. Also it is an excellent value for the lunch special.

Easily the best thai food in town without a doubt. Most Thai places in town have multiple restaurants with in consistent food and lack luster service. This place is the real deal when it comes to true authentic Thai food. They take their time and effort into making your food, but it is absolutely worth it. Take one bite and you will taste the difference fresh, carefully seasoned, authentic Thai dining.

Closest to the real thing I've found in Vic so far. If you want Thai food, but don't like how spicy it can be, try out their Pad Thai (ask for mild) or their Massaman curry (with some rice). It's delicious! Their green curry is the best I've had in a long time.

I don't know why so many people rave about this restaurant; I did not have a good experience in terms of quality of food. It is not amazing and authentic as their website claims. I ordered a red curry and tom kah soup with chicken yesterday; it was delivered in good time. BUT, they were overly sweet and bland--no rich thai spices flavours. The red curry is supposed to come with red peppers; mine was heaps of bamboo, one sad piece of red pepper and very tough, dry chicken. The soup tasted the same, just sweet coconut milk with dry chicken. They actually tasted like they were from a tin bought at the grocery store, certainly not anywhere near what you'd expect from an "authentic thai restaurant". What a waste of 30$! Just buy a thai meal kit from the grocery store and save your $; this place's food isn't any better than do-it-yourself.

Tried this place for the first time tonight and it was sooo good! I had the #4 (peanut sauce, chicken, broccoli and spinach) with rice. Perfect portion and it was so delicious! I can’t wait to try more.
