I’m wondering if the owner or the cooks of this place have ever tried Vietnamese subs before because what I got from them was not banh mi. The sub was way too soft and chewy when it supposed to be crispy. You can even tell by looking at the photo I took. It tasted terrible and my jaws got tired chewing this thing. Banh mi here is also overpriced for the location, service and set up. Instead paying over $10, you can get much better banh mi at many other restaurants for around $7

Tried prawn soup and it tasted flavourless except spicy. My kids had meatball pho and the meatball tasted sour. They did not even finished 10% of the whole meal, but they finished the exact food from another vietnamien restaurant in downtown. Will never coming back to this place. Price does not match what they provided.

Something different in Esquimalt. This place is half-way between a takeout place and a sit down restraurant. My curry-dip banh mi was good and something a little different. Service is friendly and the food comes out fast.

We had some subs here for lunch, my favourite ended up being the bbq beef sub. I found the curry sub to be a bit odd but might be good for some people. The lemongrass chicken curry was also good. Overall the food was pretty good and the service was fast.

Worst location of the three that exist in this city. The food was just average compared to the other two locations. On the night we were dining, they were moping the floors with a bleach agent - and ruined our appetite. Total disappointment.

I gave this place a 2/5 star rating but revised it to a 4/5 after giving it another chance. The food is quite tasty and the service is friendly and excellent. My only knock against this restaurant is the lettuce they use for their salad portions and rice wraps. Its cheap lettuce with a tougher texture than what other SE Asian restaurants might serve, and the salad situation is why I originally gave them a 2/5. Besides that, the rest of the plate is very well done and I recommend ordering anything with chicken!

The salad rolls were so fresh and the bubble tea is always such a great end of lunch treat! You can call in an order for pick up and it’ll be ready in about 10 mins or so. Everything is cooked fresh and served piping hot. The menu is varied and my favourite is the salads with protein though the vermicelli bowls are a veritable feast I adore!

Good food. Service lacking. Skinny girl who works there greeted me with a frown when I walked in. Bad start. Sat down didn't say more than two words to me or smile. Didn't check up on me during my meal once. I tipped her $2 which was more than she deserved because she had a negative personality. Otherwise, the food was good, portions good etc.

The food is good, but I'm having a hard time reconciling my ongoing patronage due to their use of styrofoam packaging. This is true for all restaurants in the franchise. Consider this my last takeout from this chain until they change their packaging to a sustainable product.

I was craving pho, so I placed an order for pick-up. The menu said pho was $12.75, however when I got to the restaurant they had up-sized me to "king size" for an extra $2, and did not give me any choice nor any advance warning. I guess that would be okay with me if it was delicious, but unfortunately it's pretty flavourless. Bland noodles and bland meat and bland toppings in bland watery oily broth. The eating experience is a decidedly unpleasant one. But hey, at least I'm not hungry anymore. I'm no longer craving pho. In fact, I feel a bit disgusted by it now. So I guess I'll call it a success: craving eliminated!

I am very disappointed with the Vietnamese subs. 14$ for burnt meat, 20 pounds of sliced raw onions, no sauce and stale bread. I know you guys can do better then that. Don't rob people. Won't be returning to this location. The one in tillicum has consistency and care.

Ordered via Skip. Arrived in 15 minutes on a Friday night which was a dead give away. Visually very catching and fresh ingredients - the only plus. Lemongrass chicken was the weakest & runniest curry I've ever had with hardly and chicken or vegetables. Way too many noodles in a big clump. Partner had the beef with spring rolls - same thing. Endless possibilities but sadly won't try again.

This restaurant in my neighborhood (Esquimalt) just opened and I was pretty dissapointed to find out that they did not even have a change table in the washroom. This neighborhood is a family neighborhood with parks, playgrounds, a waterpark, a rec centre, daycares all around each side of this restaurant and no one had the brain cells to think that a change table in the washroom for children might be a good idea. It's 2018, please wake up and stop throwing your business away. Get a change table in the washroom , it's not that expensive. Frustrated former customer.
