First time there was great experience. Had take out, wedges are great, liked the tenders and bone in chicken was great. Didn't try the coleslaw.

Greeted by a friendly young lady, I requested no coleslaw so they gave me extra Wedges. The Wedges were spicy and the chicken was not dry at all. I was hoping for a thigh but got a breast instead, not a big deal it was still tasty.

I've gone back a few times now and like the reviews say: everytime I go back this place gets even better and better. The staff is super nice, and go above and beyond in their customer service and attention to detail. Definitely the best chicken in Esquimalt hands down, but may also be the best chicken in Victoria. Give this place a try and you will not regret it!

Not only the best Fried Chicken this side of the bridge, but they finally added amazing gravy to go along with their stellar "Potato Wedges" (Taters) -- KFC, eat your heart out. Capone's chicken pieces are actually of the proper size (unlike some other establishments), and their battery is nice and crispy, with a pleasant savoury/spicy aftertaste. Their chicken is great, and their taters & gravy remind me of home. Reasonable prices and quick delivery! <3

My type of crispy coating! The server is extremely friendly and helpful, she did such a great job when there’s a line up in front of her. The chicken is super crispy and tasty, the wedges has the same batter like the chicken. Will definitely be back for more, I love the drumstick the most. The package is so cute too. We ordered the family pack of 12 pieces. We found that the food was hot and fresh and super tasty. Kids, KFC fans, say they preferred Capones to KFC now. Coleslaw was excellent, but barely enough for three, and we're a family of four. Staff is very friendly, although perhaps new to the job. Owner (?) came out of the kitchen, greeted me by name, and put the take-out bag together. We are definitely going to be repeat customers. This is a deep fried chicken place worth trying out.

(Food ordered through DoorDash.) Capone's is an outlet for Chester's Chicken. The fried chicken and fries are actually quite good, which is a bit of a relief since Chicken on the Run has been far from great lately (especially the fries). The coleslaw is really stingy but who cares, maybe just ask for more fries. My only reservation is that the prices on DoorDash are significantly higher than those on the Capone's Chicken website. For example, the combos are priced anywhere from $3 to $7 (!!!) higher on DoorDash than on the website.

Ordered the 4 piece combo with wedges and coleslaw. The coleslaw is so tiny and they give you about 6 small wedges in a four piece meal…… Definitely need to give people more wedges. As for the chicken it was okay at best, I got half spicy and half regular. The spicy chicken was way fresher and juicier , but the batter was , soooo salty that it ruined it. The regular chicken definitely tasted older it probably was sitting for a bit. You’re better off going to another fried chicken place Chicken 649 , Lee’s , even KFC imo.

For the price I expected more... chicken was very fry. Chicken tenders were extremely dry. I'll admit the potatoes wedges were good, but as for the chicken it was overpriced... we ended up ordering KFC 10 minutes after receiving our food. I love supporting local.. but I wasn't happy with the cost, taste, and quality. Tiny little coleslaw to.

Got delivery! Was fast and chicken was crispy! I was looking forward to the coleslaw, then I discovered it was in a sauce ramekin, super disappointing since it said it was included in our combo, I would have bought another coleslaw had I known the one included in the meal was meant for ants. Great coleslaw though, but literally the size of a shot glass.

Extremely over priced for the amount of food. A very small coleslaw and there were barely any potato wedges. We purchased a 15 piece "family" pack and a 3 piece chicken tender. The chicken pieces were very small. We paid $82 and had delivered from skip the dishes. Won't be going back.

I have been going to Capones Chicken since they opened a almost two years ago now. I have seen there staff start slowly and not everything was right but now they do have great staff, they are still trying to get there act together. It is hard enough for the owners to get the right staff. good luck Moe.

The chicken is ok, but expect them to skimp on the white meat. I assume that's how they keep their prices down. In a combination you'll get no chicken breasts, in a nine piece, which is a whole chicken, you'll get one. (Ever see a one breasted chicken?) If you complain about it they'll block you from their social media for pointing this out so be wary of reviews. They might be very selective. Pretty much every other chicken outlet in town at least gives you all the chicken, and doesn't skimp on the good stuff.

Hands down some of the worst food I've ever had, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. They serve Chester's chicken which is a decently big brand in the states, but almost exclusively sold in gas stations across Canada. If you find yourself ordering, make sure you pick it up or drive by the location. It will quickly become obvious that this is a quick money scheme driven by apps such as skip the dishes and door dash.

Tried for the first time today and was strongly impressed. I had the chicken tenders meal, they were great, the breading wasn't super heavy or over the top. And everything was super fresh, easy to tell it hadn't been sitting for an hour or two in the warming tray. Worth a try :)
