REVIEWS OF Violino Ristorante IN Edmonton

I have been dying to go here since I moved to Oliver. I thought that it was all hype and mediocre quality so I avoided it - big mistake! It is SO good! They have a signature Alfredo dish that they flambe in an Asiago cheese wheel so they can toss it in fresh melted cheese. it's absolutely exquisite. I can't wait to go back!

Tyrone Herbert Cole

Went for my birthday back in September, Jesser was amazing! The whole experience was so perfect. Loved the food and would definitely recommend to anyone who loves italian food, best place in the city by far. The vibe is amazing and very home like. The service was the best service I have ever received

Denise Walker

This is my favorite place to go with my boyfriend. We always leave happy! The food is very good and the service is beyond spectacular. Even the complimentary bread is good and there's nothing but smiles when I think of Violino. We always come here for special occasions and I can't wait for the next visit!

Dalayce Keen

Went here and had an excellent time. Everything was perfect!

Angela Brake

Honestly one of the most disappointing meals I've ever had. Everything was just so incredibly mediocre, absolutely nothing I tasted made me go 'wow.' If they were charging Earls prices that would be one thing, but for this amount of money there are so many unbelievable meals to be had in Edmonton. Stay away.

Dave Arnold

Group meeting with 50 attendees food and service was great. Space would have been better for 40 only.

Kacey Heiber

The excellent quality of food with a true Italian touch is outstanding! The service is superior too. And the big surprise was the patio and the lovely outdoor ambience. Keep it up!!

Jeannie Cabral

Good portions! Good food! Nice warm cozy decor!

Bruce Ritchie

Fantastic dining experience. The fettuccine made in the parmesan wheel is amazing.

Helen Blyznyuk

Here for our daughter and son in laws wedding dinner. The food and service was definitely on par!! The homemade Tiramisu was absolutely delicious... thank you again for an excellent evening!! We will be back to see you in the future ????

Me and my sister went to go and enjoy a meal together and sat and waited for 15 minutes without any service. No water. No hello, nothing. As two people who both work in the industry, we thought this was odd. There were 2 other tables full. That is all. The waitress walked back and forth past us four times without even any slight recognition. For a place of this rating and price range we were both very shocked. And left. Without even a goodbye as we parted. Very unimpressed, and hungry.

Deanna Chelak

Service was friendly and fast. Food was amazing. Atmosphere was quiet and comfortable. Price was good to for the quality of restaurant. Will definitely go again when in Edmonton. A great date night

Lovely spot for a romantic dinner, great patio, good menu, terrible (because non-existent) bike parking. Service otherwise excellent.

Location and ambiance is good. The service not so much. We rarely saw our server and I had an empty glass of water for 10 min. The food was very good though but there were many flies flying all around the food. The portions are decent, no need for appetizers. The waiters never smile though.

Tommy Allaire

Absolutely incredible service. Would highly recommend. The food is fantastic and absolutely worth the value. Can't wait to go back. Definitely try the fettuccine done in the cheese wheel, you won't regret it!

On Saturday good morning I called to confirm my reservation for my girlfriend's birthday. I was told they don't have a reservation for me. So I asked him to look again because I made the reservation about a month ago. They could not find it and had to make a new reservation. I asked for reservation on the patio they told me they don't reserve seats on the patio, which doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me because if I'm reserving a seat should I be able to reserve it anywhere? Otherwise what's the point of making reservation? I did recieve a call back about qn hour later asking to confirm my reservation, i replied whoch reservarion. She said "thats what im wondering too". So im curious. One person no clue the other found me? Needless to say start off the evening a little soured. We arrived about 6:45 and walk into the foyer, pretty quickly approached and asked if i had a reservation. I said yes and then asked if we could sit on the patio?. The hostess took us out to the patio and sat us at a table for two right behind/beside the door that comes from the building out onto the patio. my girlfriend was sitting facing the door, I thought she'd be warmer sitting in the sun turns out the glare from opening closing the door every 30 seconds the glare would shine right in her eyes as it moved across her face. So we switched seats. We were sitting for about 10 minutes before anybody came over and asked us if we had been helped or been offered a drink, to which I replied no. He took our drink order and left. The waiter left and about 10 minutes later a different lady(she was dressed differently than the waiter) came over and asked us if we had drinks or anything yet again I replied no she took her drink order again and left. 10 minutes later our oroginal waiter brought our drinks. At that time he went over the specials for the day. My girlfriend and I looked over the menu and inquired about the pistachio xrusted lamb. We both LOVE lamb but she's allergic to pistachios the waited did offer to see what the lotchen could do with it but erring on the side of caution we both opted for the prime rib special. With the seafood platter as an appy. The service was fast within 10 minutes we had our main to which ineas very suprosed so I asked the waiter "are we still getting to the seafood platter?". He said something to the effect of oh shot I forgot I was in such a hurry. So no appetizer. The steak was cooked just the way we ordered it "medium" the sides were mashed potato garden carrot some asparagus, tiger prawns and scallops. They were delicious. Dessert menu came we ordered dessert I have the tiramisu which i found to be good but nothing special, nothing i would have to go back for. Leanne had the cheesecake, which was alright, the best part about it was the graham cracker crust, ehich may sound like a dig but i love graham crackr crust and this was buttery and oh so good! After I ordered the desserts the waiter came with a happy birthday mouse, which would have been nice to have been brought before we ordered because one of us might have just eaten that instead of ordering a dessert. Our waiter was friendly and chatty, i quite liked him. The food was mediocre at best. I will be clear. The food was not made wrong or anything but it wasnt anything special. For a 150$ i expected a wow factor. No appy because it was forgot. Lost reservation. Made another and both were actually a waste of time. Waitimg for drinks waiting even to be offered drinks. Overall a "meh" experience. with all of the let downs I would not recommend this place for how upscale I thought it was I was very disappointed at the end of the day losing my reservation losing my appetizer order just spent the entire experience for a birthday well it left something to be desired. I give one star because you either met my expectations or you didn't and in this case i really felt let down. And my girlfriend didnt get the experince i was hoping shed have.

Kenton Dueck

Service was great. The server was very attentive and explained the different components of the food as it came out. The food was top notch. One part of the experience I valued was the amount of time it took for the food to come out. It was fast! About 15 mins. It feels to me that the chefs take pride in their food. Will be back again after the wonderful experience.

Brayden Hanson

The food was amazing, I appreciated the professionalism of the staff and the quality of the service.

Kimberlee Lynne

Great food and service! Went here on a date with my girlfriend and we both really enjoyed it. The staff are so lovely and polite, the food is excellent, and the atmosphere is great for anyone looking for a quaint, quiet, and romantic restaurant.

Don Carlos

I received very poor customer service when I went to this restaurant. We went there with a group of friends the food was average though overpriced for the portion. At the end of the dinner the server gave us one bill we asked her to separate the bill. She got agitated and told us she doesn’t have time to be dealing with us. We went to explain to her that she never asked how we wanted if together or separately. And the end of the day she ended up doing it though she made it seem it was our fault. For a restaurant of that caliber I do not expect such poor customer service. I will not be going back to this restaurant.

Arianne Tan

First time last night for my birthday. Can not say enough good things - from the atmosphere, to the staff, to the food. Would absolutely go back.

Derryl-Lynn Braumberger

The food is amazing and fresh each time. The service is wonderful, the staff are very hospitable. The restaurant is very clean. It is a great place for a romantic dinner.

Ma Madeline

Simply amazing

Avery

The atmosphere is spot on, from the decor to the volume of music. The serving staff are genuine, attentive and friendly. The food is beautifully plated. The review is 4/5 instead of 5/5 because of a few things. 1) Almost everything needed salt, and my wife and I ordinarily don’t have to add it at a restaurant; 2) The peppercorn sauce was a decent effort but just okay - something was a bit off; 3) We wanted to love the shrimp, but we just couldn’t. They were under seasoned and overcooked. It might have just been an off night for them on a few things. The Basa sauce was very good.

Don MacInnis

excellent food and service! Truly Italian

Rene Wells

Pleasant patio and beautifully-presented food. A great spot for celebrating a special occasion!

Samantha G

Went for the Valentine's Day dinner, the menu was pretty good I ordered the crab bisque and beef tenderloin. Oh my the tenderloin was cooked perfectly and super juicy and the red wine reduction was amazing. My only gripe would be that there were times that my glass was empty or the server took a while to come by and ask how things were or to see if we wanted another drink. Overall though a good experience and I would like to go back and try the regular menu to experience this flaming cheese wheel I've heard about.... But that's another adventure

U C

I generally liked this place in the past, but my most recent lunch was disappointing. The signature Alfredo pasta was bland, and the bread pudding had chunks of hard boiled egg yolks in it. Might be awhile before I return.

Maur G

Awesome place - great atmosphere and wonderful service, but my God the food's really, really good! Here's the test; took some leftovers home and they were still delicious nearly 24 hours later!

Romantic atmosphere, delicious food. The fettuccine is spectacular, just having it served in a giant block of cheese at your table is an event that you must try. The only problem with the restaurant is that there are so many delicious options on the menu, it's hard to decide what to have.

Orlando Nieto

Absolutely phenomenal service. We went here for my birthday, and everything was so delicious. I highly recommend.

Kyle Passamare

Very beautiful restaurant. The food was good and the service was very personalized and professional. It's a great place for special occasions etc. Make sure you save room for dessert.

Reza M

Some of my favourite pasta in the city. A great place for a date and they also serve Alfredo in a flaming wheel of cheese. What’s not to love?

Bo Bernard

Really great food and service.

Natalie Annette

The grand old house used to offer decent Italian cuisine. Unfortunately, it's fallen pretty far from grace: the osso bucco only had one bone, and the meat - while fork tender - lacked flavour. The plating left lots to be desired, and a paper sheet covering the tablecloth just served to drive home the point that Violino is leaning heavily on the comfortable history of the house to lull guests into some kind of a fugue state in which they can't taste the food. It's really too bad, I hope someone steps up to grab this bull by the fork and knife to do something better. I love going to the house, but next time I'll just admire it from the outside. The server was fast and efficient, if a little impersonal.

Jessica Lilgert

Hit and miss. Usually good...not great sometimes. Inconsistent. Recently it was better but they had or have someone cooking for them that oversalted.

The Accidental Local

Fantastic food and fantastic service. Looking forward to coming back again.

Razvan Costin

Always amazing. I never review anything but I will review this place because the food is terrific and the staff is kind and friendly. Get Violino Special if you want to see something truly unique. A+++

John Iocchelli

The food was extraordinary and the service amazing, beautiful and cozy place

Bobbi-Jo Hope

Super good food and super good service

Julie Fagan

Our server was not attentive to the inside of the restaurant. She focused on the patio, and she did not move us outside like we requested. She said "it is raining" and it was certainly not raining. The food was delicious and the wine was overpriced. When we were asked if we would like dessert, the hostess let us know that only one dessert was nut-free, as my partner is allergic, and so we declined. Our sever then brought us out almond biscuits with the bill. Fortunately, I knew they were made with almonds and took them away from my partner before he could eat them. I'm sure the experience would have been fine if they were adequately staffed, but they were not and I am thoroughly disappointed.

freda so

A fancy fine dining Italian ristorante with mouth watering dishes. Heavenly. They even served an ice cream pudding on the house for my wife's b'day.

Tiffaney Marie

This restaurant is the perfect choice to celebrate a special occasion or milestone with the people you love. Quietly situated just off 124th Street this cozy house turned restaurant offers one of the better dining experiences I've had in this city in a long time. Everything here is top quality, from the servers to the food. Throughout the night we were continually surprised by the quality of the dishes and service. Our server was perfect, he seemed to know just when we were about to need something and would make himself available without being overbearing, true fine dining. For starters we had Suppli and Calamari, both exceeded expectations. We decided to take a chance and order lamb even though it's hard to get lamb right, we were not disappointed. We also had chicken, steak, seafood and pasta and we were pleasantly surprised with all of the dishes. For us there were no misses on this menu. This is not a budget restaurant, this is not a big chain, this is not premade food being reheated in microwaves, and honestly, the prices aren't even out of line with what I've seen lately. In the end, we'll be back as soon as we're allowed.

Tom E

Excellent food and service.

Leah Poser

Dining here was a special experience, the service was comfortably professional and the food was so delicious.

Mike Goss

Delicious food, but expect a hefty paycheck for it. The restaurant looked very nice and the service was polite and regular. I had the seafood special and the fish and scallops were divine. The creme brulee was also amazing.

Myka Anderson

Excellent menu choice pasta, fish and steak. Amazing cream of mushroom soup. Lots of selection of sharing appetizers. Our shared appetizer plate was the various seafoods. Yum!! Smooth Creme Brule to round out the evening.

It was great and we loved the cheese wheel pasta. Prices were great for what we got and the food was filling. Had a nice date night service was fantastic

Crystal Cameron

Not worth the price. Seafood overdone, drinks flat, service slow. Nice patio, though.

P N

Everything was outstanding specially Food! Atmosphere,Music was a bit louder than usual but was a very vibrant fun crowd! I highly recommend Violino!! Definitely 1 of the best restaurants in Edmonton

Pri Lokhande

Dishes were overly salty. Pasta was average. Great setting. Nice quiet place.

Michelle S

Very decadent and priced accordingly. You'll have a good time on your special occasion.

Bethany Meyer

Best patio experience in town. The level of service is always very excellent with a personal touch from Adrian. You have to try their Fettuccine Tavolino when you seating inside the restaurant because they use a wheel of cheese to mix your pasta & sauce in to take the flavor of the melted cheese. Try keeping room for dessert because it's delicious with a good variety to select from the menu and if you want to share, you can have a plate with a portion of all of them. The restaurant is very unique for the architecture and the location is very quiet with a private parking lot. They can organize private fonction occasions with large group on the second floor. I highly recommend this restaurant for the personal level of service you receive from the General Manager and servers.

Liliana&Dan Nistor

I had an absolutely amazing dining experience at the Violino. We went for an early birthday dinner, but I certainly won't wait for a special occasion to come back. Our server Jamie was incredible, the presentation of food was beautiful & everything we ate was delicious. A huge thanks to Chef Yusuf and his team for a wonderful and memorable dinner.

Mike Morton

Excellent service and great food at reasonable prices. We have been here a few times over the years and enjoy bringing people who have never been here before. Character atmosphere, with some unique dining areas and private rooms. Great for an intimate or group dining experience.

Mike Nakonechny

Amazing experience, Jesser (our server) was amazing. The presentation and quality of the food is far superior to anything else in Edmonton. Loved the vibe, would recommend to everyone who loves pasta! (plus theyre open mondays)

Adam

I had the seabass special with potatoe cakes, scallops and shrimp. Everything was cooked to perfection and every piece of seafood had a different flavorful bite.

Kim Copus

Wow a bottle of Chardonnay and two pastas dishes! The calamari appetizer is amazing. We can’t wait to go back to try other entrees. Great waiter as well. Good job!!

Vanessa Moore

Very nice and Very elegant Excellent services and a delicious food

Julian Romanetti

Great atmosphere. Food is always delicious with good presentation.

This was our last meal out before the second lockdown and was it ever amazing. Scallops were fresh and cooked perfectly, the starter beet salad was fantastic and my lady loved her pasta. Service matched the amazing food too, cannot wait to return when things reopen again.

Very good food and service in a safe but fun atmosphere.

Tyler Bach

Nice building with good Italian food.

Chrissy Pon

My husband, in-laws and I were there last July. The food was amazing and the service was outstanding. We had a middle aged gentleman serving us that was beyond fantastic. I can't wait to go back to this unique gem of a restaurant.

Mary McPhail

Went for the Valentine's day dinner and my gf and I thought it was terrible. Exorbitant prices for low quality food and service. I have not been there any other occasion, so this is based off of one bad experience.

Ryan

Took my wife here for dinner was amazing the cheese is fresh from the bowl and the surf and turf is very good taste and good price as it also came with lobster. Would definitely recommend has a good romantic vibe and not to busy.

Naomi Rempel

Always insanely good. Nice, fancy joint with a very decent price point for what you're getting.

Jacqueline S. Buffett

My company always takes the office staff here for a Christmas dinner. The food is hands down, top shelf amazing. I want to lick the plate it's so good. This would be a great place for date night.

Alexis McKeown

UPDATE - 4 months later and they still haven't paid us. Original Review: I don't know how their food is, but they owe us, an Edmonton family owned company, allot of money for hard work done to get them up and going. DON'T PAY the next time you go, and see how they like it.

Prabhleen Bhupal

Came here for the first time last night for my parents anniversary dinner, the food was very good, not a lot of tables which sets more of a quiet dining experience. Will be back for sure

Aysha O'Brien

So I ordered the New Year's Eve dinner, and I was very disappointed with the results. I was really looking forward to the meal, but so much went wrong with it. I had ordered the crab bisque, which was the best part of the meal if not a little thin. The caeser salad was very underwhelming. Could've been out of a bag, and gotten the same result. The main courses of beef wellington and seafood Fettucini were such a letdown. The beef wellington was severely under seasoned. Including the vegetables. It was just so bland. The seafood Fettucini tasted like they swapped out salt for sugar. The entire dish was sweet, and the seafood was overcooked. Like it almost had the sweetness of cereal. It was so confusing to eat. Not a hint of salt. I tried adding salt to the dish, but the sweetness was already cooked in and did not help at all. Dessert was rather typical. Creme Brulee and tiramisu, which was ok. Overall, the meal was very inadequate especially for $150. I really wanted to like it more, but every part of the meal just got worse.

Sabinus Dcunha

Beautiful and great food. Prices are a bit steep but for a special occasion worth it

OmOniyi Bello

Been over with the wife for our anniversary , nice Sat night, patio open. We have been served by the manager Adrian , who really made us feel special . Very knowledgeable , he gave us some good pointers on the menu. The halibut and the lamb were very good and no doubt, done by an excellent chef. Tender and full of flavors. Will comeback for sure, great place , excellent location.

Travis Harasyn-O'Neill

Great food! Great atmosphere. Adriane the manager is a pleasure to deal with always impressed with him so kind and generous.

Tony Robins

Amazing food and great service. Excellent choice for a date night.

Janine

Great food and service in a traditional Italian Tuscan house style.

H- Y-L

My fiancee, sister and myself went to Violino’s for dinner to try the menu as we were interested in booking our wedding reception there. However, we were extremely disappointed with the service. Our waitress whose name we cannot remember (she had an Italian accent) offered us sparkling or still water when we first sat down. We asked for still water assuming it was tap - which is typical at most restaurants. She never mentioned that still water was an extra charge nor did she offer us tap water. We do not mind paying $15 for water - if we know to expect it upon receiving the bill, but that was not the case and we definitely felt taken advantage of. When we questioned our waitress, she immediately became defensive and said there was nothing she could do given the inventory was already gone. She also claimed to have offered us tap water, which was not true. I never received a response after reaching out to the manager to inform him of our experience. Needless to say, we were very disappointed and do not plan on returning to this restaurant.

Bernie Pettigrew

Sensational. Two of us were quite hungry when visiting, split the sea scallops and caprese salad appetizers which were both prepared to perfrction. I had the feature surf and turf which was a filet mignon with a half lobster tail, shrimp and scallop with creamy mashed potato and roasted vegetables. I am very cautious to order steak out as I get very miffed when not cooked correctly, but every thing on my plate was cooked to absolute perfection. The reduction on the steak was a perfect complement and the vegetable was cooked and seasoned just right so it wasn't mushy, but not like eating raw asparagus. The steak was not well done, it was done well! My partner had the feature branzino fish with scalloped potato and veg side. He raved about it and after trying it myself it was also cooked to a melt in your mouth doneness with a slight charbroil. For desert I had a cocolate molten cake and he had the cheese cake. Both were very nice. We were there on a Thursday which was 1/2 price wine night and presented our server with the challenge of trying to pair a bottle of wine with both a filet mignon and a white fish. Unsure of herself, our server sought the assistance of the head server who helped and recommended a California shiraz that surprised us both and would up pairing very well with our meals. All-in-all, a fantastic meal and an overall excellent dining experience. Be prepared to pay bit more for your dinner when going to Violino. It is by no means inexpensive. It is however very much delicious!

Jens Gerbitz

We were in Edmonton for a conference and went to Violino with friends. The service, ambiance and food were all wonderful. It's a place you'd go often but for a special occasion its 5 star and I'd recommend it without question.

K Tasha

The Fettuccini tasted good, but got cold in the cheese bowl process. The desserts were lacklustre, and the service was abrupt and slow.

richard bittley

My husband and I went to Violino for an anniversary dinner. We'd heard it was great from a few friends and had high expectations. The atmosphere is nice with quiet classic music. The decor was elegant and romantic. Then we got the bread....Somehow it managed to be soft yet dry. The balsamic and olive oil was delicious though. Next we shared the $8 soup; an italian seafood bisque. The best I can describe it as is "Meh". Lacking salt and very one-note. The $18 lobster dip was decent but not worth that kind of money. My husband ordered the Veal osso bucco ($38) and I the pollo altissimo ($34). My husband's was pretty good. Very tender meat. Mine however, was a severe let down. The chicken was dry and under seasoned. The filling was just crab....no cheese, so also dry. The potato cake was ok, as were the vegetables (carrot was over cooked and mushy). They were kind enough to give us a free dessert for our occasion. We had the tiramisu. It was pretty good. Not as moist with espresso as I prefer, but still tasty. Overall, for $100 meal, I left dissatisfied. The service was excellent with a very attentive server but I assume there are much better restaurants out there that live up to the hype and price with actual delicious food. Would not return or recommend.

If you like Oliver Garden but want better food, wine, and service, all while being okay paying a bit more for those things, I recommend Violino. It was my first anniversary of dating place with my now wife, and was a place we made sure to make time to go to again. The dinner is delightful, the atmosphere is romantic, and the deserts are divine. I highly recommend making a reservation if you plan to go on a busier night, as it's a small space and fills up fast.

Lyn Hendrick

On 27 September 2018, I visited the Violino Restaurant Italiana at 10133-125 Street, Edmonton for the first time. Food was great, staffs were kind and my company were amazing. Unfortunately, I had an incident when I ate the famous signature Fettuccine Tavolino... and the result... I broke my tooth. I went to the dentist today to take out this tooth and more money will be spent because I’ll have to do a bridge to fill the gap. I’m writing hoping the staff and manger would know about this story, and I hope they will be more careful during the preparation of the food. It was a white small hard thing that is probably smaller than 1 mm, yet it caused damage that last a lifetime. It was both a great night with fond memories because I got to see friends that I haven’t seen in a long time. But at the same time, it became a tragedy due to this tooth incident.

Gail Borwick

The patio is amazing. The pasta was perhaps tastier than Sorrentinos.

RavMan IT

Excellent restaurant with old charm and great, profesional service. Enjoy some wine with your dinner, it will elevate your experience.

Carolin S

One of the worst meals I’ve had in Edmonton. Pasta was inedible, overcooked, over seasoned (ie salted) and in a pool of sauce. They stated “all Italian White Wines are a bit sweet”, there are no drier Italian whites… Riiiight…..Also they were checking with their “Sommelier” on this. Unless you are actually a Sommelier this title shouldn’t be used and it was pretty clear this person was not a Sommelier. Even though we were using a gift certificate to dine here it was still terrible.

Patrick McNary

Great place! Portions are large, food had lots of flavor and the service was fabulous. 5+ stars

Rebecca G

It’s a hit and miss. Sometimes the food is heavenly, sometimes it’s mediocre. Went in last Friday, the food was subpar, but our server was pretty great.

Jesus Maldonado

Amazing food, wait staff are equally amazing. I'm recommending this to everyone! Super romantic and adorable. Have to try the flambe!

Clayton Plamondon

Definitely recommended! The restaurant is housed in, well, a house. I find it cozy, others might find it claustrophobic (we were seated in what once appeared to be a bedroom along with 3 other tables). The food is quite expensive, but you get what you pay for, as the food is delicious. I'd suggest the Fettuccine Tavolino! We also got the charcuterie plate (Placcatore Freddo) and everything tasted wonderful. The only element that wasn't perfect was our Agnello dish, which is a rack of lamb accompanied with vegetables and mashed potatoes. The potatoes were to die for, but unfortunately our Pistachio, Mint & Breadcrumb-crusted lamb was...actually not crusted with any of those things, nor did it have a crust at all. More akin to eating a medium rare steak off the bone. That was pretty disappointing since I ordered it because of the coating. I didn't want to say anything to damper the mood but would have appreciated a notice if they didn't have those ingredients that day. But the other food and the top-notch quality of service more than made up for it.

Amazing place, very Italian and friendly , mindful staff. Definitely a hidden gem in a middle of downtown area. Bread pudding was a delicious desert, a must!

mauro mancini

Very overpriced for what they offer

Heather Feather

Good food and very upscale classic atmosphere. Im sure the patio is beautiful during the summer. The food was a bit pricey and my chicken dish was yummy but nothing special. Overall great restaurant and we would come back for a special occassion.

Alexandr Kaygorodov

Nice atmosphere, good wait staff but the pasta is definitely not homemade and way too rich. It's definitely Americanized.

We have been here a couple of times and the food is fantastic, the service is amazing! The restaurant is in an older house and is so amazing as well. When its nice out you can dine out on the deck and the wood fire pizza oven is out there which is so cool. We took our kids on our last visit and they both loved it. I would highly recommend for any occasion.

We went there last night, food was amazing. Our server Pam was very sweet and helpful; 5 stars to her. Just would be nicer to have kids meal, may be fries most kids like them and a changing station in the washroom. Loved the food, atmosphere and service.

Absolutely one of the best dining experiences I've had in the Edmonton region not only is the ambiance lovely relaxed and very classy but the staff is above and beyond my expectations. Not only does the owner of come around and personally check on your table and make sure that everything is up to yours and their standards but the staff is quick efficient and very welcoming. The food is probably some of the best Italian food I've ever had everything is made fresh to order and is an absolute Delight! Go here you wont regret it!

Boss Sales

Great food and atmosphere. The outdoor chairs were a bit uncomfortable, but if you are craving some great Italian food, this is the place.

Marina Bryan

I'm italian and I know Italian food. This is not, it .People please, don't be fooled. Over priced nonsense,in plastic plates. You do better food at home, for less, trust me. Quality and elegance out the window. Never again.

Patricia Hengel

Delicious food, great atmosphere and courteous staff - I've been to this restaurant several times and never been disappointed.

Katie Sutton

The food is always exceptional, and the service very fast.

Cecil Kuchma

This place was awesome! The food was amazing - perfect portion sizes - and the atmosphere is calm and quiet but still fun! Is a favorite, will be coming back for special occasions! Thanks!

Simon Liao

Absolutely delightful romantic little Italian restaurant.

Jerry Jacobs

Fantastic service and exquisite food. Can't ask for more.

Mat Johnson

Unfortunately my entree was too salty to eat but they did give me complimentary dessert. Appetizers were fine, bread had some flour clumps(inside). With these types of issues it will be hard to compete with other Italian restaurants in the city.

Ivan Rincon

World Class excellence; fantastic food & service!

Andrew Peters

Food great, waitress subpar, at best. Very rude. That's why I gave them 4/5 stars.

shuaib kadri

Service was awful. The server charged us $15 for water. When we sat down at the beginning she asked if we wanted sparkling or still, she did not offer tap water. The appetizer was a very small portion and not worth the price. The taste of the food was mediocore at best. We will not be come back.

maz abz

Absolutely amazing food was great good porportions and the service was amazing my reservation was when they just open the doors and they were up and running food was made quick wine appetizers everything i read reviews before i came here and every positive review was accurate the patio was amazing

In the last few months, I believe this restaurant has undergone some major changes. We have hosted three networking events in the private room upstairs with an average of 20 people at each event. This challenged the kitchen and serving staff but they came through with flying colours. The food was excellent and plentiful. We have people coming back just for the food - especially the pizza. The room was bright and inviting. The only challenge were the high backed chairs which made it a little difficult in a networking event. But we were delighted and will be hosting another event on July 26.

Bernard Pearson

Food and service are always fabulous!

Denise B (imeidenise)

It was great would recommend this restaurant to all my friends and their friends and family.

Jason Wedel

The food here was really good and the patio space is great

Cody Miller

Lovely staff and atmosphere. Delicious food and wine. Always delightful.

Derek MacConnell

Great food! Great cocktails! Seated quickly! Nice atmosphere! Great server!

J .Tsen

Great food, great service. Had a business meeting with invited speaker.

Lisa Hennig

We purchased the Christmas gift card to try out the restaurant as it was recommended by a co-worker. I found the service about par to a Earls or Joey's and the atmosphere cozzy and quiet. The food was sup par for the price, our bill came to $70 on top of the $110 gift card. I was very disappointed to see box pasta used at the price we were spending. The pasta dish (which was there specialty) ended coming out over cooked with an underwhelming sauce. My wife's dish had scallops which were over cooked to the point it had the same consistency as her steak. Nice atmosphere, but wouldn't be going back based on the quality of the dishes.

Naf Nikufesin

One of the girl who serve there not friendly at all .she talk to us like i am eating for free there , I don’t think i will go there again just because of her .

TheStoicOne

A super cute renovated house on 124th street. Nice romantic place, with really friendly servers. The cocktails are all really yummy (a bit pricey), and the food is phenomenal. I had the Alfredo that is mixed in the giant cheese wheel at my table, while on flame. Delicious desserts too. It's a go-to date place for me and my boyfriend.

Hans Peter

Excellent retirement dinner for my Boss very good night.

F Chapelle

Spectacular food, great for gluten free restrictions, they make everything fresh, including GF pasta

Joshua Meise

The best place to enjoy an excellent dinner with your sweetheart in a wonderful ambiance. Don't hesitate, you'll love it and you'll recommend it as well

Jake Marsh

An upscale restaurant featuring Italian cuisine and impeccable service.

Kelsey Wood

Very happy with the restaurant and the service. We had our wedding at the restaurant (almost 50 people in attendance) and we were very happy with the outcome. The staff complied with all of our requests, set up the venue perfectly for the ceremony, and did a good job serving everyone. The food was good and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend this place for a small to medium sized wedding or just for a dinner for two.

Michael Burch

Wow! Great atmoshpere, amazing food. The beet and arugula salad - I want more, loved the brushetta and homemade bread. The Osso bucco was fantastic. We will be back.

Scott Foley

Great food amazing service and attention detail

Shayne Craig

This place is fairly affordable for the food you get. The decor is a little stuffy and makes you feel like you need to be dressed up to go here. However casual attire is acceptable. Patio is nice and features an outdoor pizza oven, Adrian was my server he is excellent I would request him everytime I go. Friendly and knowledgeable about what the restaurant offers.

Nils French

Service was okay ... better food options available at lower pricing elsewhere

Paul Onderwater

If you're looking for a lovely setting combined with a top-notch meal, my absolute favourite dining experience is at Violino Ristorante, set in a charming 1913 mansion just around the corner from where Jasper Ave turns into 124 Street. A word of advice: Order the chef's Crème Brûlée for dessert. You will find yourself involuntarily voicing "Mmmmmmm" with each and every bite. Seriously.

Kamna

Excellent food. Gorgeous patio. Good service. I love this restaurant!

Catalin Dumitrescu

Phenomenal experience overall. The food was incredible. We started with the lobster spinach dip, perfect. My boyfriend had the fettuccini tavolino, the dish itself was the best fettuccini we ever had, but on top of that it came with a server presentation from the manager himself. I had the chicken supreme, again perfection. We had the chocolate mousse for dessert, the consistency was impeccable and the flavor was second to none. Our waitress was attentative yet not intrusive, friendly and knowledgable. The manager was also very hands on and visited our table almost as often as the waitress. The decor and ambience was romantic and relaxing, elegant yet inviting. Please do not let the negative reviews from other posters deter you, the are completely inaccurate. The price was unbeatable for the quality of the food and experience. We highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. They have achieved what many restaurant strive for, a combination of impeccable food, and top notch custome service.

Akira Neeson

Great atmosphere, pretty good service but very average and terribly overpriced food and drinks. Never ever again. It doesn't worth it at all.

Lovely environment and great service! My celiac friend felt very sick after the meal though, even though she had been assured her food was gluten free. There must have been some cross-contamination.

Resmy Palad

We just returned from dinner at Violino's - and I must say how disappointing the experience was. We were there for an anniversary celebration, and so the disappointment was made even greater. Not that the food wasn't good - it was, in fact, excellent! Truly outstanding! Even though my lamb, ordered medium, was rare - not medium rare but rare - and had to be sent back, when it reappeared it was delicious. What made the evening such a disappointment was the very bad service. The waiter who seated us disappeared, only to be replaced after an extended wait, by a waiter who seemed to have absolutely no training. Very disappointing first experience, and bad enough to consider not attempting a second.

Dustin Brown

Location, ambiance and service was great! Food was actually surprisingly banal. Had a rice ball antipasti that wasn't very good. Feature soup was like eating a cream pasta sauce, would have been better poured over linguine. Feature daily special raviolis were like something bought off the supermarket shelf, had almost no filling, and there was very little actual seafood in the sauce... Sorry guys, we were a bit underwhelmed by the food. Hoped for better for our anniversary dinner. We will give it another chance and try something else on the menu.

Lana Ako

The dining experience I had here was outstanding, and for what seems to be a more pricier restaurant you actually get really good value for your meal. Definitely an excellent place to go out for a romantic dinner.

Laura Heatherington

Nice food. But our sitting arrangement was too tight for comfort

Ahmed Kamar

Great food and at a decent price. Not cheap but good for the value.

Alex Grimwood

Great food and service, and a fantastic patio. My surf and turf special was quite good, but a little over seasoned, and the gravy on the steak was unnecessary, overshadowing the perfectly cooked meat. Everyone in my group was quite happy with their meals and the service was excellent. I would happily return and try another menu item.

Adam Hicks

Very nice place. Went there just before Christmas and asked my fiancé to marry me at the restaurant. The food is always amazing. Service is always great. Very cool setting.

Dustin Leckey

Head and shoulders above the rest of the overrated, tired and repetitive restaurants in Edmonton. If you're sick of paying through the nose for average quality food prepared by pretentious, pimple faced teenagers and served by young girls with more of their skin exposed than covered then you've just found your new culinary oasis! Violino has much to offer the foodie and discerning diner alike. The mansion turned restaurant is tucked into a quiet nook in the old Glenora area surrounded by trendy shops and beautiful old trees. The decor is simple, classy and comfortable offering a pleasant and unique dining experience. The noise level was remarkably quiet even with 5 other tables filled close by...thanks to the clever choice to use carpet to absorb sound. My party couldn't help but remark on how refreshing it was to talk at a reasonable decibel while enjoying our meal. The service is consistently outstanding and friendly with focus on professionalism and the fine dining experience. It's rare to get a server these days who can make you feel respected and taken care of while offering both impeccable knowledge of the food and wine. Their pleasantries and greetings are always polished and appropriate. The food is thoughtful, simplistic and pleasureable. The chef has done a great job designing a menu that's not pretentious but instead focused on simple flavours that marry well together and are consistently executed. I've yet to eat something I wasn't impressed with and that's saying something coming from a fine dining chef myself. If there's one thing you can count on it's that your food is well cared for and not just getting slapped on a plate. Violino is easily in the top 5 restaurants in Edmonton and they've earned that reputation by staying true to what they do, offering the traditionally elegant dining experience. You will get exactly what you pay for...not such a common thing these days. Bravo!

Alex Vivel

Their soup of the day carrot and ginger soup was really tasty. They customized a alfredo veggie pasta for me which was tasty as well. Cozy ambience!

Really nice place. The food is good. I really like the seating arrangements. Everything is cozy but no one is too close to feel like you don't have any privacy. My only complaint is the chicken is dry and the mash potatoes is overly salty. Which is not nit picky if you're paying over $300 for a meal. Also kind of strange too that when you ask to wrap your left overs they just scrap the plate in front of you. It wasn't bad, just kind of awkwardly interrupts the conversation.

Paul Lascelles

Great food! Recommend it.

Jim Hoang

The Waitress was just as lovely as the food ????????

Neetu Layal

We've eaten here a few times over the years, and they never disappoint. We probably should go more (we just live a long ways away), as the experience is always memorable. The food is excellent - lots of choices, thoughtfully conceived, well prepared and presented. The environment is cozy and inviting, and a great choice for a quiet meal where you don't have to yell at the other people in your party (which now seems a common theme at many upscale restaurants). And the service is also very good. Attentive without being intrusive. Michael did a great job for our last time, and we'll not soon forget my fork. I feel like a giant! Lol

Yang Liu

Fabulous staff, ambience, food, and company for my birthday and date last night. We will return ;) xo

Vincenza Caldaralo

Food was good.

Chris Bruynson

Our favorite special occasion restaurant in the city. We celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary and enjoyed the Aracini, Cesar salads and surf and turf special. Everything was so good. We appreciated everything this restaurant is doing with regards to sanitization, social distances practices ect. Thank you for a special evening out Violino. It is always a pleasure dining with you!

Sim

I went here for an anniversary dinner. Both my partner and I are obviously University students (and obviously without extensive cash) but the service was still exceptional. We walked in expecting just a good meal but we left feeling like part of the family. Not only did we get amazing service from our server, but when they found out the occasion the staff went above and beyond to make the night truly memorable. The manager gave us a free desert, complimentary wine, and even upgraded our table to a more private location without us even asking. I've never felt more special. On top of that, the food was delicious. It's heavy, beautiful, Italian cuisine. This place is perfect for a romantic night out.

Raymound Wong

Favourite place to go to for fine dinning. We love getting their pastas always tasteful. Service is super friendly. Only thing I dislike is the white paper they place on top of the tables!

Tom Murray

Amazing food. The Surf and Turf and herb and garlic stuffed chicken breast was absolutely delicious! Great service as well!

Trucchi

I wanted to make my fiance's birthday dinner special during this pandemic. So I ordered a dinner for take out. We ordered Fettucini Alfredo with Asiago cheese, Spaghetti Bolognese, the charcuterie platter, creme brulee and tiramisu. The owner kindly gave us a free brownie. All the food was fresh and delious. The fettucini alfredo is incredibly rich and cheesy. Spaghetti bolognese was meaty and seasoned perfectly. The dessert were really amazing. Highly recommend.

Денис Савка

Food and service were exceptional! Thank you.

Marvin Toy

Excellent service and menu. Delicious dessert!

Lindsay Friedley

Beautiful place, amazing customer service, delicious food, nice atmosphere! The restaurant where I will definitely go again! Thank you!

James Bogner

What a fantastic place. The space was rich, intimate and comfortable and the service was outstanding. Courteous, inviting and quick. Then comes the food, it was absolutely wonderful. The flavours were lush and well defined. Perfectly cooked pasta served with perfectly prepared shellfish for one and for the other, a perfectly cooked rare steak with perfectly prepared seafood and vegetables. For dessert, please try the Tiramisu. If you've ever seen that TV commercial about the guy tasting peanut butter like it was the first time he'd ever tried it, well, the Tiramisu is like that. This place might put a dent in your wallet but it's worth every penny. Highly recommended if you can afford it and if you can't it's worth saving up for.

R D

My girlfriend and I came here for our anniversary, the meal was pricey but worth every penny. The staff is amazing and friendly, plus they brought us an extra desert (awesome strawberry shortcake) with a plate which read 'happy anniversary'!

Lerae Jacob

Seafood ravioli was excellent! My wife had the chicken breast and also was quite good. One one member of our had any negative comment and that one thought the salmon was old. Service was excellent and so was the cost.

Frank Wheten

Great decor, amazing food and excellent service. Our server Mido was awesome. Mushroom soup was great, everything tasted great. Highly recommend this restaurant for a nice fine dining experience.

Dillon Robinson

Lovely place with delicious food. One was a complete surprise as they brought out a round of cheese and proceeded to light it on fire and cook the dish in front of you. Great place to spend Father's Day!

K Coutts

It was supposed to be a great night out with family..all was going good until a very rude staff who was not even our assigned waiter came along to wreck the evening. I'd like to think an entity is vicariously liable for the actions of its staff, so in summary, avoid this place because: 1. they are likely racist or hold similar views 2. you may just run into a staff that displays stupidity at an astonishing level

Claudia Alvarado

We absolutely love coming to this restaurant. The staff are always so friendly and the kitchen is very accommodating to dietary restrictions. They go the extra mile and the manager treats everyone like family. Very authentic Italian atmosphere and we will continue to keep Violinos in our dinner rotation.

Mark Schneider

They accommodated my dietary restrictions very nicely. Everyone in my group enjoyed the food.

dianushca diana

A fantastic place for date-night and special occasions, birthdays especially as the birthday bread pudding they serve will be the best bread pudding you’ve ever had. The restaurant posses a romantic and classy atmosphere without being too gaudy. The service is phenomenal and the food is beyond delicious. I would even say they have the best Italian food in Edmonton. (As good as Chianti’s is, I’m a firm believer that Violino trumps them every time.) The bread they serve even comes with their own specialty sauce too, and they serve amaretti cookies with the cheque. I recommend trying their Alfredo, as they even go as far as to make it table-side for you. It’s rich, creamy and delicious till the very last bite. Their seafood pasta special is also a must-have if you’re a fan of seafood. Bottom line is, they are a tad bit on the pricey side but there’s no doubt that you get your penny’s worth.

Mark P

This was my first time at this restaurant and dined solo. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. I had bruschetta for an appetizer! The fresh cracked pepper and grounded parmesan cheese along with the fantastic balsamic vinegar was to die for. The vegetarian risotto was creamy and very flavoursome! First time in 42 yrs I ate risotto! The mixed berry cheesecake top it off along with a coffee to make my meal one of the most memorable!

Travis Murray

Excellent food and service may be a little pricey though

Don't see what the hype is about? At best 4/5 the surf and turf was the best they had to offer.

Clara Kwak

It's situated in an old Craftsman (I believe)home. The decor in the dining room Is pretty amazing plus they have another dining room upstairs. They also have a large outside deck. The reason I gave them 4 stars is #1.They are pretty pricey plus #2. Poor entrance for the disabled. While they have a ramp outside there is a large step just inside the entrance that is not enabled for the disabled which made it difficult for the disabled which both myself and my sister-in-law are.

Elaine Buma

Excellent food and wine selection. Impeccable atmosphere.

Very good. The head waiter is always Very polite charismatic and generally you can tell he's experienced. food delicious. bread wonderful. I don't have much bad to say about this place. at all

Friendly, attentive service. Menu had great options and specials were indeed very special. Food was spectacular, table side preparation of pasta in a flaming wheel of parm! A new favourite of mine, only one down side - it's in Edmonton ????

Made a visit this evening with a group of friends. The service was actually terrible, and the food was average yet...overpriced. However, I'm mainly giving this restaurant a poor rating because of the service we received. To start off, our server (she was a Filipino lady) came off arrogant and did not seem genuine nor polite. As she was seating us, she removed the decor plates from our table and just THREW the napkins into our laps. Like, what the f*@#? Instantly set the vibe off as 'uninviting'. I also felt cheated when she asked what kind of 'waters' we wanted to start off with: tap, spring, or sparkling. She did not inform us that there was a cost amongst these different varieties other than 'tap water' - $8 for sparkling water? Thanks for finessing us tonight. Secondly, it was difficult to understand her as she was describing their dinner specials. Was she rushing, or was it because of her accent? Maybe both. Overall, our server appeared super uninterested the entire time. It was shown all over her facial expressions, her behavior, and lack of fine & hospitable service for such an 'elegant' restaurant. We did, however, appreciate the birthday treat. But wow, her service itself was enough to make your stomach turn, to make eyes roll and your head shake out of disgust -- you get the point. In conclusion: A poorly undeserved "18% gratuity for parties of 6 or more". Sis, in reality, you deserved ZERO tip. NADA. NEVER will I return nor recommend because of this experience.

James Shipley

0 stars. Violino (owned by Stage West Group) does not pay their contractors. They have owed us money since June 2013 for work done at this restaurant. If this is how they treat people who help them and that they owe money too it's no wonder they are only 3 starts and falling. They obviously don't care about their customers either.

Romy Chetty

Bad service. The sever doesn’t allow us to pay separately. He said it’s only such amount, one of you can pay and other people pay your friend. What an awkward experience. 10% tips are too generous for such shocking experience.

Babar M

Great food, great atmosphere, fantastic service

Mandy Rajtschan

Would surely recommend visiting this place. Fantastic ambience, delightful dishes, great customer service. Highly recommended.

Jessica P

Amazing food and service. We made reservations and everything was ready when we arrived. Would definitely dine here again.

Smurfy 999

Definitely on the expensive end but for those special occasions it's worth it. Even how they serve you there addresses Italian culture and customs.

traveler

We had a wonderful dinner on the patio. The server was excellent and gave us a good suggestion for wine.

Zizhao Wang

Amazing atmosphere with exceptional service. The food was great, especially the short ribs or pasta. I highly recommend.

Wayne Stevenson

Very disappointed with the service and treatment we received. My friends and I came to this resturant for a birthday dinner. The place looked nice online but the vibe and dismissive attitude we received from our waiter ruined the night. She started with no introduction of who she was, rushed through the special and when we asked a question she gave short abrupt answers. We tried to ignore that and when my friend asked for a refill she spoke over her in tone of disgust that she was just about to do that. Honestly there was so much ways she made us feel like our presence wasn't wanted. I will not be coming back to this resturant and don't recommend it to anyone!

Linda T

I would give four and a half stars if I could. The gnocchi and bolognese was amazing, and the service was very attentive. The one hitch I had was their lasagna; their idea of "infinite" sausage is one sausage cut in half on top. The noodles were done right but the sauce was kind of bland. Like I said everything else was top notch!

Kayla Peirson

Excellent food along with great service! Would definitely be going here again! The waitress was very kind and tentative to filling our water for my boyfriend and I. Not to mention the food was delicious. The outdoor seating is romantic and overall cozy atmosphere! Perfect place for a date night!

Garry Kolodychuk

Came here this afternoon for my Birthday an was very pleasantly suprised , Had braised short ribs an risotto an was the best Ive had in the city , their salad an desert were also fabulous , will definitely be back to enjoy their deck ..thank you for a memorable experience

Helen Chuc

I booked a Valentine's Day dinner at Violino and felt like a number at a deli counter. I had not been there before so I do not have anything to compare it to, but it seemed like they packed much too many people in to the tight area to maximize profits. The service was as good as it could have been for how many people they were trying to serve. It was a set menu that looked great on paper. My only complaint about my food was that my soup was cold, typically I don't blink at things like that, but I felt that the price of the meal did not leave room for cold soup. I addressed the issue to my server and she discounted one of my drinks off in lieu, which I appreciated. My wife and I finished out meals quickly and left, because the atmosphere was not conducive to the romantic meal and evening we had planned. All in the cost for the two of us was a little over $300.00, I would be hard pressed to ever return on Valentine's day again, but feel I would have a vastly different experience spending the same amount on a day other than Valentine's day.

Francina Thomsen

Very disappointed with the overall experience and would not recommend this place. Did not even stay longer after receiving the water.

T M

Higher scale food and atmosphere. Went for Valentine's day and it was great. Be prepared to pay for it all.

Randy Pischke

Good quality steak, worth the money

AMAZING. Amazing food, Amazing service!! Can't wait to come back again.

Wonderful Italian food in a welcoming environment.

The food was good but we did have to send back our steak in order to get it properly cooked. We also got a pizza. we returned home to find our pizza in one big piece and burnt.

Mike 7ijaz

Adrian and Eugenia have always giving us fabulous service, the food is always amazing. Never disappointed. One of Edmonton's best restaurants

roxxyandkracker

Last night we were treated to a very special dinner on the patio at Violino Ristorante in a beautiful parklike setting with live music on the site. The special was seafood with pasta which my partner rated as very good. My Mista salad with a grilled chicken breast was presented beautifully. We ordered a full bodied Valpolicella wine. A loaf of fresh bread accompanied the meal which we inished with bread pudding and the house special::vanilla bean gelato. The food and wine orders were brought to us by a warm and welcoming server. The live music was an extra as the restaurant offered one of Edmonton's finest musicians, Jeff Hendrick, who entertained diners with sax and vocals on an outdoor area nearby. We will definitely be back to Violino and its adjoining French inspired restaurant, Brassiere Bardot. Both offer ambiance and delectable menu choices. Let's continue to support local restaurants.

By Faith

Fine Italian Dining. Good service. Nice menu selections from pasta to Osso Nico. Good wine list.

greg leclercq

Great restaurant for date night. Thanks for the staff and everything

Lindsey Schroeder

Excellent all around. Every dish was full of quality and flavor. The service was what you expect from this type of restaurant. We were served by the manager and he made it a pleasant and enjoyable visit. We sat outside on the patio and even though two main roads were close by we never heard a thing. The go-to for Italian in Edmonton.

Mike Podolas

We went there for our anniversary celebration last night, we were very quickly taken to our seat after we arrived. When I booked the reservation over the phone i mentioned it was our anniversary so we would like a romantic spot. They did listen so we were seated at a table next to a fire place but next to a wall as well. In my opinion it was kinda nice and private but some people might find it to be confined. The waitress was super nice and very familiar with their menu. We order our appetizer and drinks (Dirty Champagne) it was quite delicious. And ordered our meals, my girlfriend ordered the ravioli with some sort of sauce, which i forgot haha, i ordered the lamb. She was very satisfied with her pasta while i enjoyed my lamb rackS (yeah! they give you two racks of lamb each had 5 ribs!) so the portion was very adequate unlike lots of fancy restaurant that have small portion, and they were done to perfection! (medium). They were accompanied with side risotto and shredded potato which were very tasty as well. After the meal we ordered chocolate moose for dessert and after a short wait, the waitress came back holding a plate of dessert that had a sparkling stick on it. At first i thought that was some special dessert that the other couple ordered, however, the waitress brought it to our table and it was a plate of tiramisu and it said "Happy Anniversary"!! WOW we were stunned because that was just so sweet. We really like how the restaurant was so thoughtful and sweet. Both tiramisu and chocolate moose were very delicious and not overly sweet which we loved!! Over all we had a very pleasant time at this restaurant, whether it was the service or the meal. Definitely recommend this place to anyone who want to have a nice date.

Jennifer James

Ambiance - 5 Stars Service - 3 Stars (not noting water charges, failing to note specials in a timely way for orders) Food - 3.5 Stars - it was mixed between the group between decent enjoyment and surprise mediocrity given the upscale marketing There is better value for fine Italian in town. Go for Cibo Bistro or Corso 32.

Tyler Wright

Cute little restaraunt!! Its an old house turned into a restaurant, very neat. Service is amazing!! We had Torte di Pesce I don't usually even like seafood but I enjoyed them. Then had their fettuccini tavolino as our main and OMG it was sooooooo good!! A little light on the sauce but they offered more at no charge. We finished with their Creme brulee... best creme brulee I have ever had hands down!!

Amazing food and service! Very impressed for our first time there. The owner is always present and checking quality. Great wine menu.

Beautiful atmosphere and great staff! The food was amazing! Except the creamy dill sauce on salmon was more like Alfredo, the Asiago cheese wheel was so cool and DELICIOUS! Wanted to try almost everything on the menu
