I was really disappointed with the food..let say it was terrible. I have no idea how they have such high ratings its gotta be fake! the chicken parm tasted with no flavor. the veggies had zero flavor too. the bolognese was so poor i had to add jar sauce on top from home to enhance the flavor. It lacked so much flavor and depth. basically the tomato sauce has no seasoning. They really need to learn how to cook or make pasta at minimum! Definitely don't recommend this place!

Really disappointed after the positive reviews online. Ordered takeout while staying nearby. Lots of promise but poor execution. Salad was oversauced. Pasta was tasty but made the mistake of ordering the ametrano sauce which was close to off putting. Pizza crust was was quite tasty but toppings were subpar (despite being the favourite option). Buns weren’t fresh and garlic bread was just mildly seasoned toasted bread. Not sure if we just had bad luck but really a bummer after overwhelming positive reviews online.

We waited for well over an hour for our food. To begin the bread brought as an appetizer was quite stale. Pizza was overcooked and had sauce only towards the crust it was also quite unevenly cut. Lasagna was cold and hard on edges making it seem like it was taken from a fridge and reheated quickly In a microwave. The chicken came with barely any food for 20 dollars. On top of that no apology or anything was made for the time spent waiting. I do not recommend coming here instead go to McDonald’s or something. At least McDonald’s won’t make you wait for an hour and the food will be warm.

Pasta was OK, but you expect more than ok from an Italian restaurunt. - service was blow average and I didn't get the attention that I needed (busy day, I don't blame them 100%) - atmosphere was good. Some highs and some lows. The vibe was nice, was looking forward to a great meal. The wine and escargot were both great (wine was a robust red recommended by mt server). My entree (veal parm) was recommended by the server because veal is their specialty. I hesitated because a review had said the veal was thin. I actually chuckled to myself when it came. It was maybe 1mm thick ... worthy of a photo. Taste was pretty good but hard pressed to taste the almost-not-there meat. Veg was perfectly cooked and excellent. Creme caramel was the highlight taste-wise. I was going to talk to my server about this but he left me unattended for a long time after dessert and a different server offered to get me the bill. The second server didn't ask and he had clipped my chair a number of times squeezing by to serve another table so didn't feel like engaging him. Win some and lose some...

What a disappointment. I don't remember the last time a meal went so wrong. Was served my main course before my appetizer and then watched my alfredo sit on a counter for 15 minutes before it was microwaved and brought back to me. They did offer us "shots" to go with our ruined meals. I guess after long flights people will eat anything being so close to the airport. Maybe I wasn't hungry enough after working a double to eat that reheated slop.

As it’s the closest place to the hotel (Double Tree) and the airport, it’s not too bad. Came 2 times already in 3 day period and overall it was good. Nice ambience with good selection on the dishes. Draft beer available. Steaks are not their signature dish for sure. For a $30 steak, it was a bad cut and too much spices. Waiter forgot to bring out the bread even when I asked for it. Finished soup and steak and still no bread. I was even provided water even after ordering a glass of beer and a glass of wine. Was told their veal is the signature dish so will for sure check it out again. Reason gave a 4-star still cause of the friendliness in the staff, ambience, and the Italian dishes look good; just don’t order steaks.

From the outside I had my reservations walking in but my goodness as you see in the pictures it’s beautiful on the inside. The service was great, drink within a matter of minutes, we got the bread as an appetizer and it was delicious. The chicken sandwich my friend got as you see was massive, he loved it, along with the salad. I got the manicotti and it was delicious. Really good find and it was close to our hotel.

Close to the airport, this was a convenient place to meet some friends who had a stopover. The sandwich and pizza we ordered were good as was the service but being connected to a bar with vlts was a turn off. It wasn't bad but I probably won't go back as the are other places I've enjoyed more.

My waiter, Silvio, was excellent. He told me the list of specials and immediately I wanted veal since it has been a while I havent had veal. Instead of a red sauce, he suggested a piccata lemon with spaghetti agile olio and fresh mixed vegetables. Nice little place close to the airport. Stayed at an hotel near by to catch our early flight out the next morning so went there for supper. Great little spot for a bite to eat and enjoying a calm meal with quality service like an upper class restaurant. It is well decorated inside and feels a bit more classy than the prices are. Food is very good and affordable with good size portions. I would say a definitive step above pub food and family dinner but not as pricey as a chick restaurant but with the feeling of it.

Ended at Tim Hortons. I took two employees for dinner after a 14hour shift. Ordered appetizers and mains. After a long wait the mains arrived. Asked for the appetizers and was told "so sorry" . Meanwhile the mains sat on the counter. We were told the alfredo dish would be started over. After the appetizers our mains were returned to us microwaved. We had little interest in finishing our meals. Mistakes happen and there was an opportunity to make it right but this place failed miserably. I'm writing this as we eat our factory made sandwich in a donut shop that by far exceeds what we just left behind. I recommend five extra minutes behind the wheel to go elsewhere.

Traditional Italian menu layout, but the dishes were not traditional Italian food. I’ve been to Italy a dozen times in various regions and this restaurant serves clearly Canadian style Italian food. It was still tasty but definitely with a québécoise feel. Don’t expect Italian cuisine! That being said the wait staff was very friendly and do speak some Italian. I went one night on my own and had a salad and pizza and was quite surprised so I brought back a few team members the next night to join me. Sadly, the next day The salad had so much dressing it was soggy with oil. The pizza was quite tasty as well as the soup and two of the pasta dishes our table ordered. But Everything needed salt and pepper and chilli oil to bring in some flavor, but it was a nice dinner environment overall. I had a view of the bar where the bartender was serving out wine. Each person at our table ordered a different glass of red, but I noticed the bartender just poured out the SAME house wine into three glasses?!?! LOL I guess they assumed we would not be able to tell the difference? ????????‍♂️ Anyhow I’m giving this place four stars. I’m not sure if I would return.
