Wonderful Korean food, just the way grandma used to make it. I ordered the jambong dish which, is a spicy seafood noodle soup... amazing flavour.( The Kimchi is the best I've tasted in montreal). I brought this dish at a friend's house who is not Korean and, he was savoring every bite. Friendly service too!

Fantastic little spot! From the outside it doesn't look like much. My wife and I both had the spicy ramyun soup. I had beef, and my wife had pork. We both loved it! Good portion size and very tasty. The service was very good, and so were the prices. We will definitely be going back.

I always order my "go to" General Tao chicken when I eat Asian food and my meal at Kimbob Café was by far the tastiest General Tao chicken I've had in many years! Delicious!! Looking forward to eating here again!

Food is good but I found it expensive, I order 2 entrees and a special and they charged $1.5 for some extra kimchee which I refused. I was also frustrated that the soup with the special wad a simply standard chicken hospital soup...

Decided to pass by with my wife after reading reviews and I'm glad we did! The place is very well decorated and clean. The menu has many different offerings and isn't overly huge. Everything is reasonably priced. Staff is very nice and made sure we were well taken care of. Definitely try the Kalbi!

I've tried several dishes and enjoy the American/Canadian twist on traditional Korean food, savouring the spicy zest to their meats and lovely presentations. Experience the bulgogi here- quite unique in comparison to typical Korean restos and try the BibiBob as well. Delicious. Recommended to several and had the pleasure of inviting friends throughout the years to dine with me here.

We live in Ontario and dropped by this restaurant during our ski trip to Laurentian. My wife wanted to have a steak, but the steak houses such as KEG are all unreasonably too expensive. We found this and the price seemed to be reasonable, so we went there. We ordered steak, Kalbi and some spicy noodle. Among them steak really excelled our expectation; the others were also good, although a little Korean style dish. We recommend this restaurant, particularly the steak. Definitely we will go there again in our next ski trip.

The owner will willingly come out, talk to the clientele! Lady is real nice too , the decor is HELLA cozy and the profiteroles, a nice choice of dessert for 4.95 as well as 5 dollar chicken dumplings for an entrée , couldnt be mad at either choice! Good selection of meat + rice plate combos . Hell, even the coffee was good. I was served a decent coffee w the profiteroles after my meal , warmed me up nicely before my walk in the neighborhood!

This is in my top 3 favorite restaurants. Try it, and ask the staff what to eat. Many people want the general tao, but are disappointed, but they shouldnt be, as it is a korean restaurant, not a szechuan restaurant.

맛이 뭐 특출나거나 하진 않고 그냥 저냥... 김밥카페인데 김밥이 없는 건 아이러니. If you're looking for an authentic Korean food this wouldn't be a place for you. The food has Korean "background" but I don't think I can (or any Korean can) call it Korean food. Despite the name Kimbob Cafe, they do not have Kimbob on their menu.

So happy to report that Kimbobs Cafe has re-opened. The food and service here is fantastic. Owned and operated by the nicest family. It's a byow and is a cute and super clean establishment. The general Tao chicken is homemade and the best I have ever had. Check it out, you won't be disappointed.

A 5 minute drive from the Montréal-International Airport (YUL). If you are hungry and have a craving for Korean food, you can eat in or take out. This little cafe is open from 11am to 3pm and then again from 5 to 9 pm everyday except for Sundays. Located right off the main street from the airport, it is a perfect stop for travellers passing through. Bring your own wine!
