We sat on the glass-wall patio and enjoyed the perfect weather. The ceaser salad was a bit overdressed, but the steak and sides were excellent. Drinks (from the bar) were okay, and our waitress was very attentive and friendly.

Came to Mike's with a big group! Bailey, our waitress, was super quick taking orders and refilled our drinks with us hardly noticing! Our group had 3 diffrent burgers all delicious and I highly recommend the chips and Chipotle over the fries cause they are amazing!

Usually I don't need to season my restaurant food, but I ordered Boston clam chowder n beyond the salt from the crackers I had to use more than usual pepper. Now the ribeye was perfectly done, but there was to much fat n grissle for someone that likes a good chunk of meat. Also I hate to say the fries were way too greesy. The 90 I spent was I feel to much for fat. We had a lovely server though.

I have eaten here over the last few months multiple times, I personally enjoy the food. I would recommend the Cajun Chicken Pomodoro, Steak bites, shrimp appetizer or the Gaucho steak. Not a fan of any salad anywhere so I don't have anything good to say about salad, I would exchange it for the Parmesan fries. There was one time the fries didn't come out with very much parm on them but the server got it fixed right away. They got a crown royal cocktail the name escapes me but it is pretty solid on a hot day, not a beer drinker but if I was the Bulldog thing looks like it would be good for the summer. Whiskey is better though. Maybe they could come up with something like that for whiskey. Never had bad service. Worth stopping in. Little heavier music would make it better but then all the family types would run, so eh.

Nice place, warm atmosphere. Food was good but the steaks came under cooked. My medium on the medium well side was definitely medium which was still OK for me. On the other hand my wife's medium was rarer than rare and was sent back. I will be back and still recommend.

Lost my Mr Mike's in Calgary. I have been going to Mr Mike's in Estevan since it opened. Always friendly staff and amazing food. Never miss it while I am in town. Close to the hotel, nice to have a great meal at the end of a long day.

Visited on boxing day, and they were out of all 8oz steaks (could be related to holiday). The hostess was very welcoming and friendly. Our server was cort. The twice baked potatoes were not good, they tasted like instant mashed potatoes. The reataurant did omit the cost of the potato on our bill. Bottom line, overpriced for what you get I will not be returning to Mr.Mikes.

We are in town for 5 nights. Ate here three nights in a row. Usually the fare is good however the steaks were tough. Ordered total of 4 medium rare between us all. The cook was good but the steak was rubber. Tough to cut. Tougher to eat. Very disappointing.

Edit: Mr. Mikes has reached out to me and offered a gift card to make up for my experience. I really appreciate them making this right! Was a little disappointed with the frozen pre-made burger patties and they forgot our appetizers. I mentioned it and the sever apologized and said she would fix it but then it didn't come until after we had finished eating.

It is not very often where I feel like I need to apologize for wasting someone's time especially when it is my waitress, and that has unfortunately been our experience this evening. As a table of only three we were seated promptly and then left in the corner to be forgotten about for the next 20 minutes. Our server finally approached our table to get our beverages with less enthusiasm then one would expect from roadkill on the side of the highway. After another half hour wait before she came back for our food order even more inconvenienced then before. When our dinner order finally arrived it left much to be desired. The chicken quesadilla was overcooked, presumably from being left under a heat lamp for an extended period of time and the yam fries came with no dipping sauce. The oscar sirloin lobster left more disappointment in our lives then I left with my parents at the age of 15. It came out cold, underseasoned and without a knife to cut it with. In true disappointing fashion of the evening we had to wait another 10 minutes before we could catch the waitresses attention with air gestures of a knife to finally get a knife to cut the steak. Lastly, the safest option on the menu; chicken fingers and fries. I am not quite sure how one an possibly manage to overcook and yet undercook french fries as badly as these were, but somehow it happened. The only positive of our whole experience was that the bacon ceaser was absolutely mixed to perfection so the bartender deserves a round of applause. Consequently a good drink did not make up for over 2 and a half hours of dissatisfaction and terribly rude service. Save your time and your hard earned money and go somewhere else, unless of course you are in to being ignored and treated like garbage; in that case Mr Mike's is the place for you.

Everything in the menu looks great, the staff is friendly and my meal was delicious. Great casual atmosphere, and not too spendy. They do have some limited vegetarian options, but it is a steakhouse, so don't expect too much.

There was a lot of hype with this place, so the wife and I wanted to check it out and see if if it was worth it. We were impressed. The prices are slightly on the high side, but it’s worth it for the quality and the portion size of food you get. We were both very satisfied with what we had, quite full, and the food was good quality and delicious, so we had very happy bellies. Our waitress was the right amount of fun and casual while still being professional. Offered us little samplers of the antler beer, exclusive to Mr. Mike’s, in their own little tiny steins and we really enjoyed it and appreciated the suggestion with the testers...I forget which flavor we liked, but I think it was exactly what our waitress suggested before we even got the sample glasses. So we appreciated her experience and insight when ordering our different dishes and asked her opinion. Will definitely return.

Never had a well done filet mignon until today. Not as awful as you might think, but not good, especially when ordered medium rare (and yes I've had them done right to go before). Might have been a better experience if they at least gave me a fork or knife to eat it with. I thought that's what the place setting selection on Skip was for anyway. At least while waiting for my order I got to chuckle as the kitchen staff argued over whether onion rings belonged on the complicated order ahead of mine. I think they gave me free gravy.10% off an order if it's in the next 4 days is a bit of a slap in the face though. This was my first time at Mr. Mike's and I can't say there will be a second. Please do not reply if it will just be excuses. Thanks.

Definitely an enjoyable atmosphere for Kitimat. They have a decent selection of beer. I was a bit disappointed that they do not serve local beer but perhaps that's because they are a franchise establishment. The food is good and there is a wide selection. I was a loving patron of mr. Mike's for 30 years almost in quesnel b.c but this is the 4th time I've gone there that they have messed up our orders, or talked to my gf and I rudely..also discriminated me for not wearing my shirt out on the patio deck. Canada law states unless otherwise stated by the vendor, men andwoman are within there rites to be topless. Mr. Mike's do not have any such signage saying I am required to wear a shirt. I do not plan on going there again!

Was fortunate enough to win a lunch for four to try out the new lunch menu at @mrmikeswelland A great way to start off March Break with friends! We got a pretty good sampling of the offerings, ordering the Butter Chicken, Perogie Platter and Potsticker Bowl. Every dish was delicious and cooked well, I personally would have been happy ordering any of the items, as all of the offerings piqued my interest. Service was both fast and very friendly. We'll definitely be going back, hopefully next time to try dinner. If you're looking for a new franchise to try out in the Niagara Region, give Mr. Mike's a shot.

Took my parents for their anniversary. I ordered fillet mignon. Everyone’s food came out, and the steak was well done, despite ordering medium rare. Sent it back, waited 35 more minutes. Everyone had finished eating when it came back out. It came back out blue rare, by this point I was so hungry that I just ate it - terrible. Server asked how it was the second time, and I told them it was still not done as ordered. Barely apologized, and no compensation or any discount off the twice improperly cooked steak. For 40$ and a steakhouse I expect them to know how to actually cook medium rare. Incredibly disappointed.

Phenomenal service, great food, nice atmosphere. The restaurant was very busy and my steak came out over done (I like mine bloody) and I hardly had to mention it and the staff went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. Went for lunch at Mr. Mike's Sunday afternoon.We ordered the chicken salad , the bacon mushroom burger with bruschetta and two beer. It was horrible! Chicken was burnt, the lettuce wilted and soggy. The burger tasty gamey. The bruschetta was good. My wife barely touch the salad. The waitress don't even notice the full bowl of salad when she cleared the table. We don't send food back, we just don't come back. Specially paying $60.00 for this meal.

Bad experience..Last night I ordered spinach cheese with tortillas so she served the sauce in a disgusting, messy sauce all over the burning cheese bowl all,should be cleaning first before you served right...and I ordered Steak with lobster sauce, I ordered Medium to cook but came with medium red, so I called the waiter then replaced with another steak the cook was perfect but the meat all filled with veins ???? I can't eat it..Sorry I’m not happy with that meal.

Loved it here. We returned within 2 weeks, and will be back again. They have games on the tables to play, great for passing the time. My kids loved the jenga. We also got a loyalty card that rewards you with points, that can be used for meals later one. With a family of five that will add quickly. Great stop after a movie, or before. Make sure you make a reservation. It's busy, but worth it! Steaks are great, the chopped chicken salad is amazing. They offer pitchers of slushy drinks to share from a bowl..if you feel like sharing ;)

Passing through GP for work and we stopped in for lunch here. My dish had a weird, chemical-like aftertaste. Not sure why. Couldn't finish it. Service was friendly and prompt though -- they took my meal off the bill and apologized. Was happy to pay and didn't really care, but they insisted. Nice! Was with a few friends and they had great meals there. So maybe next time I won't order a stir-fry at a steak joint. ????

My boyfriend and I ordered two steak meals. He ordered the filet mignon, poutine, and ceasar salad. The portion size was very small. Especially the poutine. My boyfriend finished his meal before me and was still very hungry. We didn't realize ceasar salad was not included in the 33 dollar steak meal so we were charged extra 5.99 for salad and not sure what we miked up but we were charged for that too. My meal wasn't too bad, loaded potato was awesome. The sirloin was a little grizzly but edible. I was full upon leaving. I only had a issue with napkins. I was only given two. A little disappointing for paying almost ninety dollars and my boyfriend not feeling full. Overall staff friendly and nice and clean.

Well my first visit was absolutely perfect the staff was very friendly and service was super. I ordered shrimp tacos it was fast and so fresh and full of awesome flavors. They were so wonderful I went back the second night as I will tonight. Service was poor to negligent, and the food was meh. We were ignored for almost 3 minutes upon arriving because nobody could even see we were there (poor layout). We walked in and stood in the middle of the restaurant until we were finally noticed just to get a table. Our waitress outright ignored us a couple of times and didn't listen - she grabbed my son's plate and took it away to dispose of while I was trying to get her to pack it up for him. It took a really long time for food given how empty the place was, and really the food was underwhelming - the burger tasted like it was half soy or something, and was cooked until it was dried out and hard. I only learned about the soup because I read the board in the back during the long wait for our food, which is a shame because I would have ordered it. I was warned about this by a friend but went anyway, I don't see any reason to come back here.

What a nice new restaurant with excellent wait staff. Clean place, upbeat atmosphere with excellent food. There are games to be played while you wait for your meal. Only thing that I would change is to turn down the music in the bar, where we sat to eat. It was difficult to carry on a conversation with the person across the table. Our food was excellent and the price was about what you expect to pay in a steak house. And they still serve the original "Mr. Mike" burgers! That's what I'm having next visit.

Not the most fantastic food. Service was disorganized. Hostess station was not staffed, about a half a dozen folks waiting for pick ups and another few waiting to be seated. Traveling down the AlCan to work in Oregon and Texas we stopped here for dinner. We ordered the Stuffed Mushrooms for appetizer and they were delicious stuffed with shrimp and lobster! Prices are higher everytime I come here. No specials...just "Features"...which are really just regular menu items on another menu . You're the most expensive place in town to eat what is, in fact, an amateur attempt mediocre steak. (Pouring butter and garlic on top of a piece of meat is not adding any value) Attitude from my server was arrogant and pretentious. A consistently empty parking lot says more than any Google review. Raising prices to cover your lack of patronage is not a successful business model, you won't last much longer in this town. *** UPDATE*** New manager has made a world of difference. We called server. She apologized and gave us several options. She was very polite, knowledgeable and professional. She made positive change of our decision. Extraordinary customer service. I’m giving 2 stars because our waiter was pleasant and my kids seemed to like their food(baby back ribs and sirloin steak-keto style). My husband took us here for my birthday yesterday and we both strongly regret ordering the pasta. I had a chicken pasta and he had a steak pasta. With the chicken, it was bland, just cut up chicken and a can of stewed tomatoes with some herbs and cheese on top. The steak in the other pasta was rubbery and chewy. These dishes should be removed from their menu that’s how flavourless they were. I was stoned and hungry and forgot the golden rule of never ordering pasta at a steak house. If you read this you have been warned, pasta bad.

Me Mikes in Vernon is a terrible place to eat, party of four and all different dinners were not fit for animals. Food was cold and meat over cooked. It seemed like they had a batch of fries just laying around back there not even being kept warm she brought. Lol (oh and the funniest/slash worst part was when she gave me the fries she said here 'free of charge' instead of 'sorry about that') Everyone I talk to says Mr. Mike's is terrible and now after my first time there I would agree. Would not recommend. Go to the keg and spend the extra 10per person if you feel like steak and actually enjoy the meal. Not just being a negative Nelly... I eat good meals all the time here in fort mac...just skip this place. The owner came for an awkward chat before the meal, he should consider having his chats with tables AFTER the meal so he could get some real feed back. Complete waste of 70 bucks for food. (had no drinks)

Special dinner with the family. Celebrating year end accomplishments. Mr Mike's is one of the few places in FSJ to take a family for a nice quiet meal. Service was OK...on a FSJ standard...(Hit North Bar and Grill for awesome service 5???? - couldn't bring myself to give ???? on July 4th????). The food was typical although costly for what is provided. The Tomato Bruschetta and Steak Bites are highly recommended as appetizers. The Antler Ale is good too although the Mike's glassware is stupid...I get the marketing but they are seriously unwieldy...time for some classy glassware. Avoid the Gin Fizzle! Ugh sweet with little other flavour.

Ok. Now that it's been open for a while, I'm changing my review to 4 stars. Food is awesome. Staff are hard working go getters. (Thanks Jillian L. And Makayla C.) Atmosphere is wonderful. Mr. Mike's have found its stride. And it's delicious. A bit pricey, but isn't everything nowadays? You get what you pay for here. It's worth it. My old review is below. As you can see I was upset about the wait time. I think they've sorted that out now. Kudos. 1.5 hour wait. And for some reason, they don't take reservations??? How can you start a restaurant, and not have the ability to take reservations? I'd love to put a good review, but no way I'm waiting around for that. Maybe next year.

If you want to be ignored go here, we got seated quickly enough as it wasn’t busy on a Thursday evening. We then proceeded to get over looked for service, table(s) that were seated after us got drink orders taken and delivered. It wasn’t until we started to get up and leave the offered any attention. Apparently no one knew who’s table we were at so neither server could be bothered , but they served the three tables right around us. First impressions count and so we won’t visit here again!

Only minor thing I would suggest is maybe having a ‘basket’ or something to bring salt, pepper, ketchup and other condiments related to the meals and sanitize after use. I am awful for asking for something, then realizing theres no S&P on the table... so I feel bad for asking more than once. Minor detail, though!

We made a reservation. The person on the phone even took the spelling of our name. We got there....they laughed at us and basically called us liars. It was terrible. Apparently they are not taking reservations?? They blamed us and we're sarcastic and rude. I doubt I will ever go back. I understand they couldn't fit us in but, did they need to be rude? They were offering everyone else $10 off take out but not us. Very unpleasant.

I had been in thousands of restaurants around the world but this steak have something special. The steak are aged for 28 1/2 days . And is very tasty. I tried before steaks aged for even 36 days but this restaurant have a very good secret. I extremely recommend it and i will come again to try the filet mignon. Today i tried the New York steak. 4 Seniors went for lunch. seated promptly. orders taken, 3 burgers and one french onion soup. 35 minutes later food came. all the burgers were over cooked and very dry with very little sauce. They reflect excellent management and ownership because, you can always tell when staff feel pressured or underappreciated; there's just a vibe. I have never felt that vibe at any Mr. Mike's we've visited as a family. And, particularly at the PG location, whoever is in charge of hiring has a keen eye because, the servers and concierge are always a notch above most other establishments. Not just one or two of the staff, mind you; all of them. Overall, good job.

My wife and I had a great lunch at this Welland location on May 2nd, 2018. We learned of Mr. Mikes Steakhouse Casual from a Television Advertisement during the broadcast of a recent major Curling event in Calgary. Curling fans are very loyal and like to reward the advertisers who support curling with their business whenever possible. We live in Markham, Ontario and the bulk of the company's locations are in the West. I found one however in Welland Ontario and, on a trip to Niagara Falls, we made a point of stopping in at the Welland location for lunch. Situated in a stand alone location adjacent to the Seaway Mall Mr. Mikes is in a new building, with plenty of parking and a well laid out floor plan. We were greeted like old friends by Taylor, who opened the door for us, seated us in a great spot and the she left us to peruse the extensive menu. Our server, Trevor, quickly appeared and patiently answered all of our questions, and placed our order, and was never far away during our meal. An experienced server can make of break a meal and Trevor did a great job. I had a terrific mushroom laden burger served on a Potato onion bun that was just delicious. My wife enjoyed a shaved beef sandwich on what appeared to be a Brioche style bun that she just raved over. Fries were fresh and hot, just perfect. The General Manager, Troy, heard that we had come a long way for lunch and stopped by to welcome us and chat about the history of the company and their ambitious expansion plans in Ontario. We learned a lot and were quite impressed with their growth. All in all we had a very pleasant dining experience, great service, terrific food from an extensive menu, and an overall feeling of being in a place where you were welcomed like family from afar. We will certainly be on the lookout for Mr. Mikes Steakhouse Casual locations on our travels in the future, and look forward to a location in Markham soon. Thanks to Taylor, Trevor and Troy. Tom

Went for my father inlaws birthday, we waited 50 minutes for our food, my husbands order forgotten and my food cold! Was not impressed, especially since save the dishes orders were going out left right and center, seriously managment needs to stop prioritizing them over dine in customers, it should be first come first serve, especially when the people that came in moments before us were served and done eating while we still had to wait another half hour! thankfully the waitress we had was awesome, she really came through at the end of the night and shes the only reason we would ever go back again!

Casual Steakhouse Mr. Mike's a nice casual steakhouse located nearby Seaway mall on the parking premises. The restaurant has a nice comfortable environment. It is a little bit on the ambient and loud side so if you're looking for a quiet restaurant this would not be one. The restaurant is organized, friendly, clean and professional. Staff members are great and attentive. There is a good selection of drinks with good pricing. I had a sirloin steak ordered medium. This arrived rather closer to well done or medium well. Seasoning may have used a little bit more salt and pepper however, I was asked whether i needed table salt and pepper which i refused. Well presented casual dish with 2 sides. Well proportioned as well. Audible music was present at a good level, not too loud. Overall good experience for a casual steakhouse.

Came for an early supper. Staff is super friendly, restaurant was clean, and the food was DELICIOUS. We had the lobster dunk appetizer (best tortilla chip dip we've ever eaten) and 6oz steak with onion rings and lobster Mac and cheese. My steak was ordered rare and came cooked just right. Hubby ordered medium well and his was also cooked perfectly. We had the apple pie for dessert and I'm glad we only ordered one because it is huge - and the best apple pie we've ever had. The server forgot about the Monte Cristo coffee we ordered with dessert, but it was so tasty it made up for the tardiness. Definitely worth the money.

I came in to have a nice dinner after a long day i spent at work the other day, expecting to come into an environment which was following covid rules but that was not the case. my server never said her name but she had pink streaks in her hair, her mask was not covering her nose and was made out of mesh as well, definitely not following the protocol when interacting with customers. she also had a less than welcoming attitude and seemed to be rushing out services as if she didn’t want to be helping us, definitely disappointed as i’ve had nothing but great experiences with this restaurant when being served by a different person.

Came during lunch when they only had waiter in!! She handled it so well and let me know that they’re trying their best to get to everyone but I may have to wait a little while. They eventually got another waiter in and he was super helpful! Got my order right away and was very calm and had great customer service! Both were an older gentleman and woman and they just took it so well! Food came in about 15 minutes which was perfect. I got the Mac n’ Cheese and a side of garlic Parmesan fries. Not the biggest fan of the fries. I found them very greasy and it just seemed like it was immersed in the oil. The garlic Parmesan combo was not as great as I thought it would taste but that’s just me personally. Maybe it’s cuz the Mac N Cheese already had that garlic salt taste so the fries were not complementary. Mac N Cheese was great! Ate it all and was fulfilling! Overall, my experience was wonderful and the place itself is quite nice and modern! ????
