After waiting an interminable length of time in the drive through line up where food was very slow coming out, my husband finally got to the window to place his order. It took much too long to get the food. He checked the receipt taped to the bag to ensure everything he ordered was on the list. When he got home, we discovered that the food inside the bag was not our order. My husband had to return to the restaurant to get our order which was cold by this point. Not even so much as an apology by the employees! The worst customer service ever.

A&W is on of the best fast food chains in Canada (their breakfast is underrated also) and I've never had a bad experience at this location. Super professional, always friendly, order is always correct and the food is as good as it gets for mainstream fast food. Keep up the great work. Plus, if you're on keto, this is the only major chain to offer lettuce wraps, and they're brilliant.

After waiting until 9:30pm to eat I talked my out of town son into going to A&W in Kenora. Bragging it was the better than any from Thunder Bay to Winnipeg. What a disappointment. He ordered the teen burger platter with fries and root beer. I ordered a teen burger. The burgers were so cold the melted cheese had completely hardened. The lettuce was grotesquely large and sloppily applied. The meat actually hurt the roof of my mouth when I bit into it it was so hard and cold. Extremely disappointed.

I went to the drive-thru for the first time here yesterday. The food was hot and it tasted good when I got to it but the wait was unacceptable. They had the order for the car behind me completely ready by the time I got my food. I would say I was at the window for just over 5 minutes after ordering. They also tried to give me the wrong order several times. Definitely not what I expect from A&W

Good: Fast, fair price, clean store. Bad: Storefront not available to customers at all (other restaurants have had seating for a while already, this just shows a lack of looking forward), food was adequate, but not the A+W quality I expect (way way wayyy too much seasoning salt, bun was dry (I'm assuming a quick half toast to reheat), and I had to ask for accompaniments by "interrupting" the employee. I may give them another go in the future, but it's definitely not on my to do list.

Just went through the drive through, and someone was standing in the back doorway smoking. They weren't even outside with the door closed. They were standing in the building just blowing the smoke outside. As a non smoker, I find this a bit disgusting. I don't care that they smoke, just do it outside and not around my food.

Fries weren't hot, just warm. I would feel like a jerk to ask if they are fresh since I can only imagine they have only been sitting under the heat lamp for a short period of time. Drive thru was a terrible experience we had completed saying our order and I said no Tomatoes after and the lady taking the order got upset and said I have to say that first so its not complicated I've worked at McDonald's for 2 years i know its not a big deal to remove something the customer doesn't like and was rude and didn't give is our total, after we proceed to the window the worker doesn't make any eye contact and doesn't say how much it is and didn't say anything to us didn't clarify our order or drinks just handed them out and walked away

They ran out of ketchup for my fries. No big deal, so I asked for mayo instead and they said sorry but we charge for that. Other than that they are slow and the coffee is always really bad compared to other A&W's. After reading other reviews it looks like this place does not know how to run a business.

Today my food was not good. I used to be a supervisor at an A&W in Calgary so I know what the food should look like!! There was lettuce with bad edges on it,tomato piece was not looking good and too much in the way of condiments!! Also,there was no one on site that could open the safe for change. Front end-person complained about it numerous times. Screw up by the scheduler. All dinning room tables were dirty too. Glass doors going it and out are also FILTHY!!! The parking lot is also filthy. If you are going to have a free standing store it is a good idea to keep it vleab

They have a great staff and delicious fresh food. I went with my family at 4pm on a friday just before the dinner rush. Everything was fresh and delicious. After the rush started the employees were super organized and right on top of everything. I was impressed.

Unfortunately, this A&W has a few staff members that are utterly rude, time and time again, so you know it’s not just a bad day. The food is often not fresh, and don’t even bother asking for a Beyond burger, the “10 minute wait” is more like 17. (I timed it.) At that point, it’s the only time you receive a fresh burger, but the fries will certainly be soggy. Just comparing to all the A&W restaurants I visit, this lacks any qualities to rave about, other than it’s among the only spots in town. Honestly, just friendly staff would make it better. It’s all just adds to a 1 star. Shame.
