Top notch delicious interesting and fresh food. Can't get enough. When I inquired about whether or not they had a particular Indian dessert- barfi (like a piece of fudge without the cocoa), they said they did not. However, a week later they contacted me to say that they came across some in Calgary and brought it back for me. They insisted it was a gift and would not accept money for it. If that isn't small town thoughtful and above and beyond service, I don't know what is. Eat here, it's good.

Super awesome atmosphere, my family had a wonderful dinner here. The bartender, Prince, was extremely welcome and friendly. We had some great mixed drinks and enjoyed their wonderful food. We ordered quite an array of items and they were all fantastic. Definitely get a samosa and try their homemade mint sauce, you won't be disappointed! This will be a mainstay for us :) Don't miss out!

Just had our first meal here and oh what a treat to our taste buds. We had the chicken biryani and chicken vindaloo accompanied with garlic and cheese naan bread. Everything was perfectly presented and delicious. Service was fast and our hostess Sonali was a pleasure. We had a great little chat with her. Definitely going back again soon.

The newly redesigned restaurant has a very bright and cozy feel to it, and the upbeat music creates a vibrant atmosphere. The owner and employees were so welcoming and friendly. Perfect service, the absolute best you can have in a restaurant. The food was incredible and that garlic naan bread was the best I've ever had. My new favorite restaurant. When we first walked in the place was empty. Made us wonder if the locals knew something we didn't. I am very glad we stayed. The food was delicious and plentiful. Our waitress was very helpful. And after we sat down another group showed up and the place was actually busy all night. I highly recommend!!

Stumbled upon this place today and decided to 'pop' my head in to check it out. The smells were amazing & tantalizing, so much that so we finished our errands and hurried back for lunch. So, so glad we did! Everyone loved what they ordered & I was delighted with a mint-spiced curry with lamb that I'd never had before. Very good service, tasty food, wonderful naan. We'll definitely be back & will be telling everyone about this lovely gem of a restaurant

This place was so comfortable and welcoming that I felt like I was coming home. The owner came and talked with us and the service was excellent. My drink was flavourful (hello passionfruit and ginger!) and matched perfectly with my meal, and the food was phenomenal. It made me miss one of my best friend’s who lives back in India. I had the mango chicken, basmati rice, and garlic naan bread. The balance of spice and sweetness was warm and satisfying, and the garlic naan bread was the best I’ve ever had. It was a rough day and this was the highlight that I needed to boost my mood. This is my new favourite place in Cranbrook, and I definitely will be coming back.

Decided to try some different Indian food for a change, so we tried this little hidden Gem. I placed my order online, and they called me when it was done. Great customer service, very clean atmosphere, and the spinach cheese naan was something I have been dreaming of for a long time. Start making paneer pakora and ill be a regular ???? Namaste

So exciting to have this location in Cranbrook. The kids love their creamy Butter Chicken (homemade cashew paste used I was told!). My husband and I enjoyed the Lamb Rogan Josh, ask for it "hot"! The veggie Pakoras were really yummy too.

Absolutely phenomenal South Asian food. We had the Malai Kofta, Garlic Naan, Basmati rice and at the owner's recommendation another dish that I cannot remember, a kind of Paneer with onions and bell peppers that came on a steaming hot skillet. The food was fast as we missed the lunch rush but would honestly be worth a longer wait. The service was extremely friendly, the owner even sat and chatted with us for a few minutes. We will definitely be returning.

My husband and I love the food from India and surrounding countries with similar cuisine and were pleased to see another location open here. Lots of great vegetarian selections here all well presented . Excellent tastes @ the Himalayan Spice, nicely redone location inside. Exterior is still pink but the good news is we got a great new restaurant to replace a great previous one at the location. The young owner/manager seems very vested in the place and knows his business.

Staff were very nice and our lunch was excellent. We ended up doing takeout as their tables were full, and everything was nice and hot. I believe they added in some free rice pudding since we couldn't get a seat. I tried the chicken korma, both naan breads, and vegetable pakoras. All were great. Will definitely be back to try more.

The cocktail/Indian restaurant was an unexpected combo but I loved it. The vibe was awesome and they did a good job converting the cottage. Already tried twice and I will definitely be back. Food and prices are on par with the spice hut in town. Would recommend

Everything was pretty good. The pakoras were my favourite, they were light and crispy. I was a bit disappointed in the lamb rogan Josh, but the aloo gobi was full of flavour. The naan was also brilliantly fresh. All-in-all, not exceptional, but worth trying.

The bistro was laid out very well and inviting as well. I received a recommendation to try the lamb and i was not disappointed. The fresh flavors of spice combined with freshness and crispness of the naan bread made this a go to for me. Im excited to return and enjoy some evening beverages and sample some more delicious food.
