So happy that Pizzeria Guerrilla is back, bigger and better than ever. The menu is short, but perfectly formed. Forget Naples, 5th street in Courtenay is where it's at!

Absolutely incredible. The setting is simple and un-fussy. Service was great, we were greeted right away and got our pick of table. Good local beers on tap and the features all looked delicious. We had the features "snack" with whipped ricotta and chorizo served with house made bread. We ordered the King Onion pizza which came out fast and looked spectacular!! Because of the weight of our "snack" we only ate a slice of pizza each and took the rest home. This place has got something special going on. 20/10 will be back.

Amazing overall experience, highly recommended! They've nailed the ambiance, menu and service. The cocktails made by Griffin were personalized and delicious - what you'd expect from a proper cocktail bar but alongside really good dinner options. Also, if they have creme brulee on as a dessert special, order it. The best I've had in a long time.

Simple where it counts. Reasonably priced top quality ingredients, epic amounts of free sass. Owner Jason Uglanica takes his food seriously, and is always striving for 'excellent'. And he's willing to argue about it :-) Tip: don't ask for gluten free or vegan pizza unless you want a bit of a cheerful ear full. Which pizza to choose... Amatriciana? Fungi? King Onion? Ideally I like to be with enough friends so that we can swap, because *no*, you cannot order a slice, just a pizza. The beer on tap is carefully chosen and always pairs well. It's not uncommon to see the local mayor enjoying a meal, and our kids love to play the free video game. This place has character and I really really enjoy it.

Delicious pizza, great cocktails, and awesome vibe. They strive to source local and are not afraid to change up the menu to reflect what's in season. A definite breath of fresh air compared to the funeral home style of restaurants known throughout the Comox valley. Keep up the great work J!

The ceilings are pleasantly low and made of wood. Good lighting. A group of lawyers were there for a social event and one of them looked like the roommate of an ex-girlfriend of mine (or maybe not girlfriend... we just hung out for a couple months in that way that people do when they know the relationship has an end date based on outside factors.) The bartender had shoes with wings on them and wore an apron.

Have been waiting for the new spot to open for quite a while. First night here and it did not disappoint. Pizza was top notch as always and the beer was frosty and tasty. One thing is a must if you visit this place ... Try the House Bread with Whipped Macedonian feta .... Outta this world!

For anyone who knows me well, I am a pizza enthusiast. Pizzeria Guerilla is a must try. In fact, I would make a trip across the island to experience this place again! The owner is involved on every level with the customer experience to ensure you have the best service possible. The King Onion Pizza is incredible and something you won't get anywhere else so make this a priority on your bucket list!

Best pie I ever had, and I've tried the "best" pies in NYC. Kills anything in Victoria, and Vancouver. It isn't wood fired but it has a thin apparent no knead dough. A+ toppings. The crust crunches and melts in your mouth. Good, reasonably priced cocktails and beer. The cauliflower appetizer also killed.

These pizzas are SO good!! We pretty much order pizza once a week from pizzeria Guerilla. It is hard to pick a favorite! Try them all you won't be disappointed!! Just this week we decided to try the 4 course meals that are on offer and all I can say is WOW!! every single item in the pack was phenomenal - I didn't know butcher's bread was a thing... it's my new favorite food. And the cabbage rolls?? Ohhhhhh sooooo good. Wow, wow, wow we will be back for more I guarantee it!

As a pizzeria guerilla fan from the days when they were at Gladstone Brewery I have to say the experience isn't as good. While the pizza is delicious and unique as always something was lacking. The staff came off a bit rude. There was no change table in any of the 3 bathrooms for our baby and the service was mediocre at best. All that being said the pizza crust is fresh, hand tossed and light. The toppings are always flavorful and unique. The beer list is always changing and a great selection. I would definitely always go back but with hopes of a better experience. ????

Food was good but despite most seats being free they were unable to seat two of us. In the 40 minutes it took to get our pizza, the occupancy never changed. This is the second time I have been here and I do not feel that it is a very welcoming environment. I will only ever get take out from them in the future as their sit-in option continues to frustrate us.

The best pizza I've ever had. Quite possibly the best pizza on the island? This is NOT pizza hut or Panago, this pizza is proper Sicilian pies made with real ingredients sourced locally and it shows. Their prices are fair for the fare and service has always been great for us. We get a warm welcome whenever we frequent Guerilla. My photo is of the Funghi pizza and a day later when it was still the most delicious pizza I've ever eaten.

Some really unique pizzas and appetizers. Beer on tap (rotating), while limited, was varied which is great if you're a beer lover. They had an IPA, sour, stout and an easy going ale. Definitely a trendy and tasty spot worth checking out if you're in the valley.

I've had pizza in many countries, yesterday we ordered the lobster mushroom and leek pizza, and honestly, it was the best I've ever eaten. The ingredients are so fresh, the owner has such a passion for food you can tell by the way the flavors are put together. They renovated to adapt to the new reality, ambiance was airy yet and intimate. Panels between tables for covid. Great wine and cocktail. Just wow.

Loved gorillas pizza when it was located beside Gladstone. Pizza and a huge selection of beer, what could be better! Have been to the new location a few times. Pizza is always the best. A month ago the beer selection was limited and no ipa. Nicholas said the next time to phone ahead and he would make sure there was an ipa. Went on Friday after a game of golf. Fortunately there was on ipa on tap. A few minutes after we were seated saw that Nicholas left and about 10 minutes later returned with a canned ipa and glass from Gladstone. Now that was service at its best!

One of the best Italian pizza I’ve ever eaten. I had the Amatriciana with extra bacon and I do not regret it. The sauce and the meats are so good, the thin crust and the cheese were great. It is expensive and not a huge portion but the flavours are amazing.

We were generally disappointed. Service was alright and the pizza was on time however for a $27 pizza it was pretty sad. I'm sure their ingredients are much better than those at a big chain but the toppings were sparse enough to be laughable.

I remember when the crust was good and the margherita had basil leaves.... now you're just an expensive average hipster joint. I used to drive from Calgary for this pizza, now it'll only be if i'm in town during the week. Good enough, but a far cry from where you started. Thanks for the the memories, i guess not all that glitters is gold
