This authentic Thai restaurant is well worth the visit. The decor and food is on point. My husband and I spent 3 weeks in Thailand and this is by far the best restaurant that brings back sweet memories of the food we had while on our trip. They also make Khao Soi, a dish from northern Thailand, that is not easy to find. It is exquisitely delicious!! Also worth mentioning, the service has always been great and provided with a smile :)

Very good quality food and friendly staff. We found this place driving home to Toronto from Montreal. Even though I walked in to order less than 10 minutes before closing, I received a warm welcome and smiles. The eggplant and beef I chose was a huge hit with my picky son and husband. Some of the best Thai food I’ve had, definitely a hidden gem in Cornwall. They do a great chicken satay and the pad thai is my favourite. I’ve also got take out and their portions are generous and the food is the same quality you get if you dine in. Would definitely recommend!

Waited over an hour for food and mine was cold and had stuff in that I specifically asked not to be due to allergies. However, person I was with said his food was excellent. Service was horrible. Drinks took 45 minutes to arrive and never asked if we wanted refills or anything.

I have to say that the green curry is to die for. I have never had a dish whether Canadian, American, Chinese or any other cultural dish ever taste as good as this dish is. My hats off to the cook(s) or owners on how awesome this dish is. It may be costly as it doesn't come with rice, but it was still awesome.. To make a note, it should come with rice or some type of side dish.

Excellent Thai food that is fresh and delicious. My favorite is L17 combo plate served at lunch which is a lovely way to sample several of their signature dishes in smaller portions. Great service and tables well spaced for physical distancing. Oh and their Tom Yum soup is amazing!

Passing through Cornwall and needed a place to stop around 2pm for lunch. Properly distanced seating. Good service. Only two other tables, but was quick food service. Very nice server. She was cleaning surfaces in between service. Yummy pad thai that was not that gross ketchupy sauce - proper tamarind flavours! Very mild though, so do yourself a favour and ask for their homemade hot sauce! Chili, garlic, with a hint of fish sauce. Delish.

If you live in Cornwall I really hope that you have done your palate a favour and indulged in this wonderful restaurants food. One of the best Thai restaurants I've been to. The servers were friendly, accommodating and it wasn't too busy during lunch on a Saturday. Music was not too loud and the atmosphere was very relaxing. The Sweet and Sour Soup was amazing.. we were wishing for more of it. You also get a spring roll as an appetizer with the item we picked (S1). For the main course, my wife and I got the S1 - Lunch Special. We found it delicious and very filling. The coconut broth was definitely filling. My wife had to take some back with her while I pressed in and had it all. :) As for parking, if it was not enough, you could park next to the Greek Restaurant Philos' parking as well.

There are only a handful of restaurants in this area that achieve the level of those you might find in Montreal (or possibly Ottawa)-- the kind of restaurant you would take out-of-town guests to or celebrate a special occasion at-- and Thum's Kitchen is one of them. The warm, exotic decor sets the mood immediately as you enter, and you know you're in for a memorable dining experience. The lovely waitresses are friendly, attentive, and elegantly-attired, making you feel like royalty. The menu is extensive and varied, and helpfully includes photos of many of the items. You can choose from spicy Thai classics to milder entrees that are sure to appeal to anyone's taste. I highly recommend starting your meal with their "Thoong Thong" chicken spring roll wrap appetizer, served with a tangy sweet and sour sauce. And don't forget to save room for dessert, because Thum's offers some delicious options (I love the deep-fried banana spring rolls with ice cream!). Thum's owner is a classically-trained top chef from the tony restaurants of cosmopolitan Bangkok, and his culinary expertise is apparent in every dish. When you finish your meal, you too, like the Thais, will exclaim "aroi mak mak!" and vow to return. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Stopped in Cornwall on our way home from Quebec and found this gem of a restaurant. We ordered chicken satay, mango salad and cold rolls - all very fresh and delicious, served with homemade peanut and tamarind sauces. Then ordered crispy duck and pad thai, both so delicious and very generous portions for the reasonable price point. And they have a very extensive menu with many traditional Thai dishes you don’t see in other Thai restaurants. I’ve eaten a lot of Thai food and this is the best Thai food I’ve ever eaten! Wish I lived closer ????

Writing this as I’m eating, this creamy Tom Yum soup lunch is incredible. I love everything about it. The spice level is perfect, the noodles are cooked nicely, the carrots are thin and just a tiny bit cooked leaving a nice crunch, the flavours are bold and the dish is so colourful and the portion is big. It’s one of the nicest soups I’ve had in all my life. I’m very very happy with it this soup definitely has a wow factor.

I loved it! I don't know what kind of basil they put into my noodles but I will definitely go back, and drive from Montreal, just to eat there again. Super nice ladies dressed in traditional Thai colourful dresses made the late afternoon perfect for me. I promised a good review and here it is. Prices are great. If they stay this good, I'm going again. Maybe even for Christmas instead of turkey. So worth it. Thumb's Kitchen? All our thumbs up! That's a family of 4, times 2 thumbs each. This authentic Thai restaurant will not disappoint. The staff are very friendly and quick to serve. The food was good, tasty and they are flexible on the spiciness, they have a good selection of Thai dishes. The restaurant is spacious but it still felt cozy. There is a free car park there to. The only reason this didn't get a 4 star from me is they didn't have a kids menu, although in the end they all are well and enjoyed the meal. I'll definitely be going back for more.

Nice employees but the food was horrible. Barely even tastes like Thai curry. Where's the hints of lemon grass or galangal? Like it can't be that hard to source these ingredients. Just outside of Montreal. The curry sauce was very bland. I don't know why they make it that like maybe cornwallers don't know the difference.

The food is okay but it should have been more spicy and hot to be authentic Thai food. The staff is nice and friendly. Not too pricy. Adequate seating areas with both tables and booths. Nice area outside with wooden chairs. Nice indoor decoration.

This place serves authentic Thai food. We were really happy that we found this place for lunch on our wsy home from Quebec. The only thing we don't like is the fact that the food is a bit sweet. We understand that traditional Thai food is sweeter. However, if they can modify it a bit, it would be perfect!

used to be great. service was super slow tonight and not busy. my table and table beside us returned the pad thai, was inedible.they offered to replace it but had lost appetite. still charged us. my wifes food was ok though.

Always enjoy coming here to eat whether it's just another night or or for a special occasion. A great selection of amazing Thai food with something for everyone. On this visit I decided to start off with the Thoong Thong which is a pork spring roll wraps in their traditional Thai style, with sweet and sour sauce. A great started for 1-2 people. Next my go to meal here is the Hor Mok Talay with an order of Thai Coconut Stick Rice to go with it. This dish combines my 3 favourite things: Curry, Seafood, and Coconut. It is steamed Red Curry mixed with seafood, like shrimp, squid, and mussels to name a few, all stuffed into a coconut container. The staff is always very friendly and knowledgeable about what is used in their recipes for people with allergy concerns. A must go to place if you want a great experience!

Prices are are very reasonable, and there is plenty of authentic choices. The seating area is good with places for bigger groups as well as booths, and an outdoor patio. Service was good, but we did end up getting the wrong appetizer, so I' not sure what happened but it was delicious anyway. They have free WIFI which is a nice perk that all restaurants should have. Parking and location is pretty good as well. Nothing was outstanding, but nothing was bad either. Definitely a strong choice.

Great food, nice portions; we enjoyed the beef stir fry, the spicy tofu rice noodles, the coconut sticky rice, and the caramel fried bananas. Excellent service, calm and pleasant ambiance, good decor, clean washrooms. Top marks!

Very surprised to find such a good Thai restaurant in this region. The green curry and rice paper rolls are especially delicious. Friendly and attentive service.
