Probably my favourite restaurant in Cornwall. Their food is excellent and they change it to spice things up. Their wood oven pizza is amazing! They have a huge variety of different beer for beer lovers! In the summer, they have the best patio! They have musicians that play on weekends. A great atmosphere!

Their food is absolutely amazing, the lighting fits my style for eating out, they also have different beers and wines there as well. Lots of delicious foods to choose from. It's not that expensive when we invited the entire family of 6 out, it came up to $99 American I think it was $130 Canadian. Not bad for 6 ppl and the desserts are super good. I haven't ventured onto the bar side but it has a nice variety of sports on t.v. and would seem like a good place to visit in summer.

Service was quick getting out our mushroom trifolati which was delicious, but we had to wait a very long time for our main dishes. The classic margherita pizza was disappointing - the sauce was not seasoned at all and the crust was off. Too crunchy, though it wasnt burnt, and a bit hard. Highly recommend the crème brulée and mushroom trifolati though!

Asked for a pint of Guinness, it came in a 16oz glass! Server should have said something like " sorry we don't serve pints" or something along those lines. It's sort of cheap and dishonest trying to pass off a glass of beer as a pint. Makes you wonder what else they are cheaping out on.

This is one of those places where a " pint " magically shrinks from 20oz to 16oz. Beer should be served in 20oz glasses i.e. a pint glass, a 16oz glass is an outrage to beer drinkers everywhere. If you're looking for a place just to have a couple of beers, this isn't the place. Other than the ridiculous situation with the beer, the place looks ok and the staff is friendly, attentive and sympathetic to beer drinkers looking for a real pint of beer.

We rented the back hall for our 35th Wedding Anniversary on Jan 11, 2020. All I can say is WOW !!!!! The food was amazing (the pretzel bar and poutine bar were especially wonderful!!) The staff was amazing!!! The service was amazing! For a small group of up to 50, this is an excellent venue and I highly highly recommend it!

We ordered chicken schnitzel and Jager schnitzel for take out. Our order included chicken schnitzel and pork schnitzel with garlic mashed potatoes and seasoned vegetables. This also came with potato salad. The take out food came in some boxes and was tasty but portions were small. The pieces of schnitzel were about 5 inches by 4 inches. They were placed on top of the garlic mashed potatoes. Again the same size as the schnitzel. Next to that was an ice cream scoop of potato salad. In the other box were the seasoned vegetables. There not many vegetables in the box - only enough to cover the bottom of the box. The vegetables consisted of string beans and tomatoes. Also the pork schnitzel was not really a Jager schnitzel because I had this in a German club and it included ham and cheese and was nicely breaded. There was some sauce and two or three mushroom pieces on the pork schnitzel. In summary although was tasty the amount of food you get is little. We paid $20 for the chicken schnitzel and about $23 for the Jager schnitzel. So the food is very over priced considering what you get for your money.

Excellent place: they have dining and bar areas split: very smart! Upscale interior. Place is packed, better make a reservation. Very prompt and polite service. Food is "black and white": either very good or very bad. You have to know what to order. Ravioli and poutine are excellent. Pizza and pirogi are pretty bad.

Super disappointed they changed the Jager chicken. It used to come with a bunch of sauce/gravy and mushrooms and was grilled. Had it on the weekend and it was a small piece of seemingly boiled chicken. I had 3 tiny mushroom cubes and the sauce was nonexistent. This was always our go-to date night and girls' nights, such a shame!

This restaurant has been a mainstay on Pitt St for over a decade, and their food has been consistently good the entire time - that's not an easy task, to maintain quality over such a long period of time. Great atmosphere, I like watching the chefs prepare pizzas (which are delicious) at the centrally located pizza oven while I eat. As you might expect, all of the schnitzels on the menu are excellent, and appetizers are great for sharing with a drink (the Reuben wonton things are both completely novel and really yummy). I expect that when other restaurants in Cornwall have closed their doors, this one will still be open.

Amazing food here and friendly staff. They have a brick oven for cooking pizzas right in the middle of the restaurant. Sometimes your pizza may take longer then usual because of the traditional style brick oven but it's well worth it! Also has a bar.

Really like this place but was disappointed on a recent visit as they changed the menu. The two best things on the menu have been removed. I went there specifically for the chicken almandine schnitzel and my co-worker, the schnitzel trio. We were both surprised. We ordered something else but it didn't measure up to our usual order. Time to bring back the tried and true! It's called "Schnitzels" for a reason, not "Wood-Fired Pizza" or anything else. Will be calling ahead before visiting again to see if menu has been restored. Otherwise we will find a new restaurant to frequent when working in Cornwall.

We were there on Friday night started out on the patio and asked the staff to move inside and they were extremely nice friendly and helped us move everything. We spent a nice amount evening among friends the food was great we are all still thinking we should have had more pretzels. The service was great. This is a huge improvement a few years back at schnitzels you could expect to be forgotten by the staff after one or 2 drinks this time however the staff was very attentive to us and provided us with a great experience. Thank you we look forward to being back.

Food can be pricey but is amazing and I would give it a 5 star if it weren't for the staff. I had to move tables (from restaurant side to bar side) just to get service AFTER the waitress said she would bring water and 10 mins later still had not brought it. I would get it if it was a busy period but me and my friend were of 3 customers total in the restaurant and it was a Tuesday at 4pm. After moving we got a new waiter who would quickly rush off before answering my friends (two attempts) to ask questions. I'd return for the food but won't be leaving a generous tip based on lack of service. I think 3 is generous but the food is that good!

The food was quite good. The Jager schnitzel was delicious. The chicken farcite was also good, but not as tasty. They asked us to be done in 90 mins, because we didn't have a reservation, and would be sitting at a reserved table. We did not get bread, and it took nearly 60 mins to get our food. We couldn't stay for dessert, so we went somewhere else. We'd probably go back, anyway, if we were in town again.

I am here right now had a few beers with my buddy and shared 4lbs of the best chicken wings I have ever had. Pro tip get the sweet heat. Great food, great service and awesome atmosphere. If you are anywhere near Cornwall you have to stop here for a feast. Now back to Montreal! The boys from Westisland fire????????

The food was phenomenal got the veal schnitzel with jaeger sauce and spaetzle. The two large slices of veal were prepared exceptionally and spaetzle was top notch. Came here for a work party. The food and ambiance was amazing. My steak was perfectly cooked, and I love that they have some unique beers on tap. My only gripe is that the poor server was new and should not have been put with such a large group. She had trouble keeping up, and was reluctant to bring out the bills unless asked directly. Thankfully everyone's bills were tallied correctly, which can't be said for a lot of new servers. Thank you!

This place is really good!!! Has been a while since I eaten a Schnitzel, and I was pleased with what I ordered. The service was good, and I enjoy how they are creative in serving water in a glass bottle. This was a pretty good meal for energy to make the bicycle trip back to the car. Normally I'd say the food is pretty good here... however yesterday it must have been the "B" team, over fried schnitzel, and cool mashed potatoes ending off with a cup of cold coffee! I couldn't believe. Needless to say the two friends I brought out for supper were less than impressed with their overdone schnitzels., and yep you guessed it all this after I told them how good the place was. Maybe the day after a long weekend the staff are asleep .

I took some clients out for a business lunch. The patio was full so we sat inside. Clean restaurant. Lovely service. The food was delicious. We each had a lunch special (1/2 pizza and salad)... with a glass of wine ;) The pizza was amazing! I will 100% go back when I am in town and would recommend this to anyone. Great atmosphere. Just coming back from Austria and Germany just a week before, one of my fav dishes to have was Schnitzel and have had it many times, I tried it here and was very disappointed it looked like the veal cutlets were cooked from frozen in a deep fryer, the veal was nothing from close to a regular cutlet that you would get at any other restaurant that serves schnitzels it was small and they served it in two pieces, for milk fed veal as they claimed it was pretty tough and should have cut easily with a knife but a steak knife would have been better the crust just fell off the meat. For a place that is called Schnitzels European Flavours you're not close at all. The staff was great!

We have eaten here a few times and recently the quality of the food has gone downhill big time. The pizza was tasteless, black olives on the pizza not the best quality; the chicken Jager schnitzel much too thick for a schnitzel (for a schnitzel the meat is supposed to be pounded very thin) and the broccoli was luke warm and tough - even the apple strudel for desert was mediocre. Very disappointing. However, the waiter and service was great and the atmosphere is one of the nicest in Cornwall - but the food desparately needs improvement.

After being recommended several times we went on our anniversary and the service was fantastic! Quickly greeted and seated and extremely fair prices. A nice selection of drinks and a great atmosphere for a nice relaxing meal. The hearth fired pizza was incredible, crispy crust and fresh topping made it a delight to eat. My husband took me here for a surprise date night, it was perfect for us. Delicious upscale food but in a more relaxed and comfortable setting. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Its European and Italian dished. Beautiful stone wood pizza oven. I had the goulash ( i believe hungarian style) which was amazing. My husband had the lobster tagliolini, which I tried and was delicious as well. We both had some christmasy cocktails, Caramel Apple Sangria, and Schnog. Which were definitely not lacking in alcohol. Then for dessert we both decided to try the creme brulee which was so creamy and delicious. The staff was friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant

Amazing menu well beyond the stone fires pizzas. Beef shoulder goulash with gnocchi and something called German fried potatoes. Fancy name for busted small potatoes and onions done on a grill. Simple name for the most tender, marinated into almost liver, tender beef cubes anyone ever hoped to have a chance to put in their mouth. Outstanding. Always looked forward to eating at Schnitzel's the one or two times I get to be in Cornwall in a year. However the last experience was really disappointing. After being seated swiftly (had a reservation) and even being changed to a nice booth seating, we waited over 20 minutes and none of the servers bothered to stop to take our orders. Even though it might have been a busy night for the restaurant there were more than enough servers running around everywhere and even taking orders or speaking to guests that arrived after us. We were there with our two very tired and cranky toddlers and they couldn't wait for food any longer so we had to leave after about 25 minutes. Too bad, I was really looking forward to a nice Schnitzel and Erdinger draft.

The schnitzel is amazing, as expected from as place with such a name. It was fairly busy and we had to wait 15 minutes for a table but it was well worth the wait.
