Cornwall BBQ is a local mainstay. Most people say that as a compliment, but I've been to restaurants in many different places the the locals rave about, and they've been awful. Fortunately, that's not the case with Cornwall BBQ - it's a legitimately good restaurant that I'd be happy to go to any time. The chicken was juicy, nicely seasoned and the sauce was great. The fries were actually crispy - so many restaurants serve limp fries that completely miss the point of being a French fry it drives me crazy. The decor of the restaurant is very dated, and while that might put some people off, I loved it - it's an authentic place, with great, authentic local cooking, and it was really great seeing the cooks come out to talk to the diners. Prices are really reasonable as well!

Like stepping back in time to a quaint old-styled restaurant. Excellent chicken! We go there regularly and it is ALWAYS the best chicken we have ever tasted! The price is amazing for a quarter chicken, potatoes or rice or fries, homemade soup, drink and dessert for around ten bucks!

It was alright. The pizza and chicken are the only things I will order. I ordered ravioli and it very clearly was rinsed off Chef Boyardee ravioli from a can mixed with homemade tomato sauce and meatballs. I was very disappointed but decided not to mention how obvious it was that the ravioli came form a can. The cook in the kitchen is a little pathetic and if their cutting corners on this meal I wonder what other meals are similarly shoddy.

Always amazing. The CBBQ Special with the feta and real chicken is absolutely the best tasting chicken pizza and value in town. Be sure to order some gravy because it's amazing! Trust that you want some gravy for this pizza.

Everyone told me about how good this restaurant is and that I need to go try it. I ordered it for me and my family, 5 people. Very disappointing. Chicken was dry and hard, honestly it tasted like it was cooked 2 days ago and was reheated. French fries were soggy with no flavour, probably microwaved. The gravy was straight up salt with gravy added to it. Awful! I’m mad at my friends for making me spend money on this.

My Husband and l have been going to CBBQ for 43 years this place has always had the best chicken in town! The pizza is also fantastic the whole menu is awesome. The Owners are wonderful we always love seeing the Owners meet n greet their long time and new customers. The Waitresses are the best with smiles and fast service always very attentive to what you need. I've always told my friends if you love chicken then go to CBBQ the best chicken in town!

Placed an order at 6:40, finally arrived at 7:20 ice cold. I immediately called the restaurant to complain. I asked why the food was not in insulated bags only to be told none of the drivers have insulated bags and delivery took so long because they were busy (not my problem). If and when they are busy they should hire more delivery drivers instead of 1 driver trying to deliver hot meals to 20 or more customers.

Visiting from Toronto, we didn't know the area and wanted a good homestyle meal. Going off how popular this place seemed to be on google maps, we went in and ordered to go because they are not allowing dine-in. The guy at the front was busy trying to haggle with someone over the phone for a good deal and could not care less that we came in. An old gentleman ended up coming from the kitchen to take our order; a quarter chicken leg dinner, salmon dinner, and spaghetti with a meatball (yes, one lol). Picked the food up, paid and went to eat. Opened the bag to find the fish missing and a Greek salad instead. Called the guy twice to figure out what happened, and because he misunderstood the order we were missing a meal. Didn't offer to give us the fish or apologize for giving us a freaking salad. Not happy, place looks run down and greasy. And food was extremely mediocre at best. Save your money.

The best chicken in Cornwall by a country mile. I recommend the 1/2 chicken, with their made in house gravy. Note the key lime pie is a must try, and a personal favorite. This restaurant is possibly the only redeeming factor in this entire town (no offense to Cornwall natives).

Wow Cornwall BBQ is up for sale!! Food was lousy boxed mashed potatos Pizza sauce tasted like chef boy ardi sauce bacon was raw not cooked. I certainly do not recommend. It was much better place years ago. But it explains why the place is for sale!!

She screwed up who ordered what, forgot parts of the order and when we asked for things, we had to remind her to bring them! I guess Christmas eve for lunch was not the best day to go.

Ordered from here the other evening. Their online menu is out of date and pricing is completely different. This needs to be fixed ASAP or honour the online pricing as it is false advertising. Received my order and most food was cold or luke warm. My order was wrong. I ordered a cheeseburger and fry platter and received a cold cheeseburger with bacon, missing condiments and toppings (I specifically asked for). I did not want or ask for bacon. I don't eat pork. I also got onion rings instead of fries. ??? wth?? Receipt isn't itemized so I have no idea if I was charged extra for the onion rings that I did not order. My friend's order was completely right but stone cold and ineditable because of this. We ended up tossing the meals. What a waste of $36!! Cornwall BBQ needs to get with the times and invest in insulated food delivery bags ($40 on Amazon) to keep food warm and customers happy. Cornwall BBQ you just lost 2 customers. We will never order from here again.

this place is very racist i use to live in cornwall i grew up in that city and now live in toronto and was visiting my mom and we always have xmas eve dinner there loved the food when we use to eat there so i thought hey lets go here have not been here for so long more the 20 years and told my partner lets go here and we sat down and waited like 15 to 20 minutes and everyone was staring at us and the young waitress past by us at least 10 times and saw us but had to go to the front counter to get our menus and not good for a restaurant that has been there for such a long time and when we cashed out the lady at the counter was asked if they take debit and she gave a nasty look like who are you and what are you doing here not really nice people and the thing that really gets me its all elder people doing this never again i will make sure everyone knows about you cornwall bbq we are in 2016 not 1920s

Owned by the original family that started the business in 1971, I can honestly say this is some of the best rotisserie chicken in the world. Basically, everything they serve is a hit; you can't go wrong! Only thing I'd say isn't right is their pricing as it's way too low. No kidding. They should be charging market rates for such high quality food and instead charge like it's 10 years ago. If you want a memorable dining experience and walk away feeling satisfied and at the same time like you didn't spend enough, check this gem out today! Don't forget to leave a big tip for your server. They earn it for just deciding to come in to work!

We ordered take away pizza & salad with chicken sticks. The chicken was edible however the driver was rude, my salad dressing was certainly store bought and didn't have enough. The pizza was half burnt and each bite contained what seemed like sand. I used to got to Cornwall BBQ with my grandparents as a kid and it was great. What a shame. The kitchen needs help big time! :(

I have gone here for lunch many times. The service is sometimes slow so being I only have a 1 hour lunch, I usually order breakfast since they do offer breakfast all day. It always takes a long time to get your bill and takes a long time for someone to come out of the kitchen to take your payment. I recently went to meet a friend for lunch and it was a bit busy. I arrived at 12:05 and the waitress came to take our order at 12:10. Not bad. I asked the waitress what my chanced were to get my breakfast and bill by 12:50. The waitress said that she couldnt guarantee that since they would have to clean the grill before they could make my breakfast. Needless to say, I ordered coffee to be safe. I was not charged for the coffee however, I did not eat either. Food is OK as long as your not on a time schedule.

This is a nice family-friendly and casual dining experience. The food rocks and the prices are very affordable. My favorite menu items are the chicken brochette and the pizza. They used to have amazing wings but last few times i had them they were burnt so i stopped ordering them. I tend to order for delivery but the times i have dined in have been enjoyable. This is one of my top 5 places to eat.

Im not sure how they call this a BBQ. It is far from that.Real BBQ comes out of a smoker. The pizza is disgusting and the pepperonis are basically wet salami ubder the cheese. Im not sure if this is canadian style pizza or not but its utterly disgusting.

We were early for bingo and this place was on the way so decided to try it out. My husband had the club sandwich which was delicious and plentiful. I had the 1/4 chicken dinner with mashed potatoes and coleslaw came with it. Best coleslaw in Ontario, chicken was delicious and hot but garlic mashed was good but cold enough that the butter wouldn't melt. I should have asked for a reheat but I was too hungry to bother. I would certainly return as everything else was so good.

I ordered 2 full racks of ribs and a family pack. Chicken was fine, fries were pedestrian and small but sorta passable I guess. Problem was the ribs, they..were..rotten. And by rotten I mean actually turned not just badly cooked or seasoned but stink a** rotten. I reported it to the Health board.

Their signature dishes are bbq chicken and ribs. Its a pity they use the same marinade on both as I personally feel that pork does not tolerate cinnamon as well as chicken. Other than this the service is excellent and the staff are friendly.

Usually go for their pizza and poutine, which is great. Though I have tried many other menu items, such as the lasagna, soups, club sandwiches, chicken meals, etc. I have never been disappointed yet. I usually take-out, but am not the biggest fan for the atmosphere. Still a happy return customer.

The chicken here is fantastic. The service was great and the people here make you feel welcome. There is lots of parking out back, so don't worry about trying to find a spot. This is a great spotto go with friends!

Had the pork chops they were okay but when the served me mash potatoes from a box this is not what I call fine dining. My husband had a bacon pizza bacon was almost raw They really lost a lot I use to come here all the time when I was younger I do not reccommend this place

Hi let me just say that this used to be the best pizza in Cornwall. Well not anymore. I think they forgot how to make good pizza seems like they cut back everything in it. Pizza seemed to be all chease and crust and pepperonie not like their all dressed used to be. Now i see why all my friend have gotten away from Cornwall BBQ pizza. I would not recoment this pizza to anyone. This also just turns people off from the resturant anymore. Even my wife said the pizza was crap. Sad this this was the best pizza in Cornwall and now has become the worst pizza in Cornwall. Shame restruants have to cut corners and serve crap like this. A frozen pizza in the oven is better than this so called all dressed piza that we got from cornwall bbq. They will never see us back ever again and we will make sure to tell all our family and friends not got get Cornwall BBQ crappy pizza.

I ordered 2 chicken poutines it cost me almost 40$ when I got home there's was no chicken on them i went back the guy said I order regular poutines and wanted to charge more for the chicken im pretty sure I over paid rite from the start i had a meltdown finally he gave me my money back.i used to like this place

Great prices and great meals. I ordered the chicken breast meal with mashed potatoes and i have a very hard time to eat. Eating this meal it was easy on my stomach and everything was perfect. The mashed potatoes were delicious n mashed properly no lumps. The coleslaw was as well delicious and the chicken just falls apart in ur mouth. Great prices and fast delivery. Best meals ever.

This is not A BBQ place... This is a rotisserie place specializing in chicken... The Sign reads Charcoal BBQ... But it is not... French fries are from a bag.. Their mash potatoes from a box.. Their salad comes from a bag... They have a rib steak on the menu but they have overcooked mine twice... This place is not worth the money...

Delicious food with happy waitresses. Our food was delicious. Their menus seem to have been updated like any other place some prices are steep and others reasonable but $6.00 for pinion rings a bit pricey. Will certainly come back.

Always liked the food when we dined in but twice we’ve ordered and picked up and was very disappointed! Club sandwiches were all smashed together and Greek salad had mostly brown lettuce.....I threw it out! This place won’t get another chance with us!
