Every time we're in Corner Brook this is our must stop. Best pho on the island! The owner is friendly and service is good. Every single dish I've had has been delicious and authentic - definitely stacks up against the best in places like Toronto and Vancouver! The place is a gem. FYI the restaurant is located inside the building with the grocery store, so go in then go right down the hall to find it.

Spring rolls are greasy, pad Thai was ok, but nothing special. My wife had chicken with this rice, barely had any recognizable chicken in it. I am celiac, and it was hard to understand she just said she doesn't use flour. But lots is sauces do use flour.

Good food. Slightly expensive but there isn't anywhere else that serves pho in an 8-hour radius so the prices are fair in that respect. The spring rolls are phenominal! This coming from someone who was born on the mainland and has had her fair share of spring rolls. The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is because the service wasn't particularly friendly, and both of our drinks (canned pop) were very expired. My diet coke was two years expired. Just check your cans before you open them. Otherwise, would recommend.

Small town pho place focuses on traditional taste. Decor could use an update but overall impression of the food is average.. Post covid, only one person manned the front and deliveries, so it took a long time to get anything. Prices are a bit higher for proportions and quantity, but the quality is there. The size portions are kid sizes.

Really great pho with a rich broth. The service is great and super friendly, and the atmosphere is great too. Awesome to have a great authentic Vietnamese restaurant in NL! Highly highly recommended. Only downside is that it's pretty expensive compared to many pho places.

If you like Asian cuisine, you'll love this place. From Ramen to Pad Tia, pho Vietnam has something for everyone— including vegan and vegetarian options! Gotta say, my favorite is the ginger chicken and bean paste buns...if you arn't sure which dish to try I DEFINITELY recommend the ginger chicken or steamed pork buns.

I'm pleasantly surprised and impressed with the quality and authentic food here. The service is great, and the prices fair. The broth was a touch greasy (I think I'm just not used to it?). Overall, good place to get Viet fare. Would recommend.

Cute little corner restaurant. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I had the cold rolls (rice paper rolls with noodles, veg and meat w/ side of peanut sauce for dipping) and the medium size beef and beef ball soup. Mostly I enjoyed that the chop sticks, sauces and napkins are on the table when you arrive. I really like this tasty meal, this is a recommended stop in Corner Brook NL. I did find it a bit hard to find once you arrive - you go in the door to Coleman's and down the ramp to the right towards the BMO bank machines.

Very great food and friendly service but I literally just called and I'm confused if they do pick up orders or not. I called, asked to place an order for pick up, she asked for my address, I gave her my address and the lady on the phone said "yeah ok" and hung up. Anyway, I would certainly suggest dropping by and having a bite, B2 or lemongrass chicken is amazing and refreshing to have something so different and tasty.

Pho is hard to come by in Newfoundland. How Corner Brook has pho and tai when St John's doesn't I'll never figure out. Definitely worth eating here. It's located inside the building with the grocery store, enter the building through the right.

We ordered the beef pad Thai & sate beef noodle soup. The pad Thai was yummy. The soup was small and was using chinese sate 沙茶. Both dishes were over-priced for near $20. The service was friendly with nice ambiance.

As a Vietnamese, it is such a blast to find a Vietnamese cuisine restaurant here in Corner Brook. I always choose Pho (beef noodle) whenever I visit this place. The food is delicious. And if you are first time visitors, they will suggest you order different dishes and then share them among you. This way you have chance to try various plates in one time. It is a good idea because the portion is biggggg. Cathy- the owner and most of the time your waitress is friendly and compassionate in her job. She loves cooking and serving. That is what she is up to her whole life. The restaurant has a cozy space and very traditional decoration. Some may think the price is a little big higher than other Vietnamese restaurants somewhere else. It is true, but the reason is because the portion is big and the quality in the dish is worth the price. Not to mention ingredients to cook these traditional dishes can not be found here in NL (that is why I can not cook them by myself) they need to be bought and shipped from faraway! So all add to the final price. Just come and you wont be disappointed!!!

Chicken tasted like it was cooked 3 days ago, which made me less upset by the incredible lack of it in the dish. I swear they could make 10 dishes off 1 breast. Very overpriced. I personally had no issue with service other than a touch slow. Overall a pretty average experience for a very high price! A shame, I love Vietnamese food.

Hidden in the building where grocery store and ban is located, this restaurant is a surprising gem for Corner Brook, Newfoundland. We arrived around 5:30pm on a Friday. It wasn't busy and the line employee was attentive and courteous. We had pho and lemongrass beef with basmati rice. Both were superb. The pho was rich and flavorful, with chillies brought on the side that added a spicy bite to it. It was expensive around $20 per dish, but we'd go again.

You could tell that everything is made from fresh ingredients, and the flavours come through so vividly. The service is warm and friendly, and it was refreshing to receive suggestions for meal combinations. The food was brought to us very quickly, but the atmosphere was very relaxed and incredibly friendly. The prices were good and the portion sizes were just right. We're already talking about our next visit.

Overall...WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER SEEN. My friend and I were the sole customers in the facility, and we were not only insulted for the way we grew up and our food restriction (by religion), we didn't even get our full order. If perhaps the menu stated the contents of said menu item, I wouldn't have ordered it knowing it contained pork. The waitress kept us waiting for hours, was incredibly rude and condescending while she served our food, and she didn't even check up on us to see if we needed anything...or perhaps wanted our beverages that we ordered a long time ago. I had to go to the kitchen window to ask for my bill after we were left seated for two hours. Upon leaving the restaurant there was no apology and she couldn't rudely brush us out of her sight fast enough. Needless to say we wont be coming back here, and will inform everyone we know of about the incredible lack of customer service in this restaurant.
