I just finished consuming a medium sized donair and half of a 15 inch garlic finger. All I can say is WOW! Incredible all around and super friendly staff on top of everything else. If you are visiting Corner Brook, do not leave without trying this place out.

One of the best donairs I've had in my life (and I've tried them in 3 different provinces)... BUT only if you eat in. My boyfriend got a large (which is NOT the biggest size) he's 6' and 230lbs and it was too big for him. I got a small and still can't believe that was the smallest size you could get. I enjoyed it so much I went back the next day to get one to go. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. All I wanted for toppings was lettuce, and I asked for "lots of sweet sauce" (even though it was swimming in it the day before) but they put maybe half the amount of sauce as they did the day before, and they forgot the lettuce entirely. I guess they figure you won't bother to complain from take out, so don't put as much effort in. Despite that, I still very much recommend it. The meat was perfectly spicy, the sweet sauce was on point, and when dining in, the amount of toppings they put on was ridiculous! Soooo good!

You will not find a pizza like this in Ontario, that's for sure! This pizza was out of this world. SO many fresh toppings, delivered but still warm out of the oven. Can't be beat.

You're only getting one star because I cannot give you any less, even if you deserve negative stars. Astoundingly terrible pizza at an astronomical price. Tasted like ass cancer in my mouth. I needed to douche my mouth after that. Thought we'd try something new and local, but what. A. Mistake. Should've done grecko. I could've gotten a pizza ordered from Dominoes in St John's delivered fresher than that. 5 dollars for a slice + a can of pop, or 7 dollars for a slice + bottle of pop. 2 dollar price difference, for 200mls. I guess anyone who honestly liked your pizza is the same kind of person who thought that the 7 dollar deal is a good idea...

This place is basically a hit or miss. The sauce is delicious, both the pizza sauce and the donair sauce. The dough is great too. Sometimes your food is cold, the staff isn't always friendly, and there's a good chance your order will be overcooked. Great prices though so ya can't win em all eh lol

I opted for a donair. OMG! FANTASTIC! They have 4 sizes, small, medium, large, and super. The large is huge. Enough for 2, and it is so good. Seriously, try it.

Owned by the same man for 21 years. Uses his OWN recipe for Donair Sauce, prepares it and the meat fresh on site. THE BEST DONAIRS I've ever eaten anywhere. The last who served us was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, personable...Newfoundlanders could teach the rest of Canada about customer service. And GENEROUS portions. The 40 year old male in our party was really hungry and voukd not finish his.

Great pizza shop. The donairs are the best of the province, still tasting just as good as they did 25 years ago during my university days. The restaurant was clean and had plenty of seating. I liked that they had two seperate lines, one for walk ins and one for mobile orders.

There was a hair in my donair, and after eating most of it, dining in, i took it to the counter to explain that there was a hair in it. The guy working the counter looked at me with a deer in the headlights look, and the guy cooking couldn’t have cared less either. They really should have offered my money back. I think my experience is different from the other ratings on here, but it wasn’t a good experience for me.

Great service. I'm a vegetarian, and they only had meat pizza for slices when I came in. So they made a fresh vegetarian pizza, even through they had three mostly-full pizzas already out. The quality is decent for where it is. Portions are reasonable.

Food was alright but I ordered a $9 sub for delivery and with no mention at all of extra fees my total was $19.35. That's $10.35 in fees and tax. More than the food was. I should have refused it but I felt bad for the delivery guy. I hope he got part of that $10 because there was no way I was giving a tip on top of it

Been coming here for years and the quality has never wavered. The slices of pizza are big and always tasty. Donair meat here is always excellent. The polish slice is a personal favorite. Whenever I visit Corner Brook I always buy Louis Gees. The pizza is good hot, cold, or somewhere in between. Staff is always friendly and helps round out the za experience

I don't know what happened the day my family and I went there to have chicken shawarma but I will never go back! The chicken was so dry, we couldn't chew it!!!! It was if it was left under the warmer for 2 days and they had to have seen it was dry, but put it in the pita bread anyway. I spent $52 that day..and it will be the last. Very very disappointed

I can't say enough nice things about Louis gees in corner Brook. The staff are fantastic, me and my girlfriend have been going there a couple times a month for the last year and the very sweet lady working the counter recognizes us every time we come in. My girlfriend got pregnant and she went as far as to remember that and when I came in alone this past week she asked in the baby was here and I said yes, she wanted to see pictures and the owner and her gave myself and my girlfriend a free slice as congratulations! The staff are amazing, and the pizza is amazing too!! The crust is crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, with a delicious sauce, great amount of toppings and just overall made to very high quality, it's easy to tell the dough is made in house and hand tossed. The donairs are easily the best in Newfoundland, there's no doubt at all. Scratch made sauce and spit roasted donair meat with massive portions. I would recommend Louis gees to anyonr and everyone I come across! Thank you so much for the amazing service, the hardest part of leaving corner Brook is no more Louis gees!

Yoooo Louis Gees is the place to be! I live in Brampton near Toronto. I've been to Newfoundland twice, visited both Louis Gees spots. They are both so good. Living in a huge international city I could probably go eat this food somewhere, but I wait for it because I am loyal to Louis Gees. Now I wouldn't mess around with anything else other than a Donaire. I'm sure the pizza is good, but Donaire is where it's at

I have been going to this restaurant for many years and today I ordered a large donair for pickup and once I got home (outside the city) they gave me a small donair instead of a large. I called the restaurant and was speaking with a rude employee that refused to refund me the difference unless I drove back to the city with the wrong order. This is absolutely terrible service and I will not be purchasing anything here again after getting way overcharged and treated like garbage.
