What a treat, delicious, hot, fresh food at reasonable prices. Was even given a deep fried tuna roll on the house! Woman on the phone was extremely polite and friendly in person. I wish we could have dined inside because the decor and atmosphere is amazing but due to covid I completely understand. Will happily order from again.

Very nice Japanese restaurant, excellent service, friendly family business, very nice matching décor, very traditional Japanese décor, chef also experienced and food taste and presentation are wonderful as well. Very comfortable setting, and there are plenty of vegetarian options as well and server can accomodate special dietary needs. Overall one of the most authentic Japanese restaurants I have been to, excellent.

they got a good variety of choices of meat and seafood. The waiters and waitresses were friendly. Having a reservation is good, I waited an hour on a Friday so it's probably better to reserve before going. each serving of meat is not that much and each serving is also not that cheap, but not too over priced. the dinning area is quite nice and the atmosphere is also quite nice. Overall a good dinning experience of Japanese BBQ.

I eat here quite often, I work just down the street from WooMai. Their Age Dashi Tofu is too die for & I also enjoy the salmon teriyaki. The prices are better good considering the portions they give you. Definitely one of my favourite sushi restaurants in Chilliwack.

We eat at Woomai Sushi regularly. I has a relaxing atmosphere, excellent customer service and great sushi. I require gluten free choices and there are several unique really delicious gluten free rolls on the menu and of course gluten free soy sauce which is not found in all of the sushi places in Chilliwack.

Not only did they provide their usual great service, but a miso soup had been paid for and not picked up. It wasn't a big deal but when I phoned to let them know, they already knew and I looked outside to see them pulling up. Not only did he take time to deliver the miso soup that was forgotten, but he delivered 2 extras. What service! It shows how much they care about their customers. I was really blown away

get “away and don't be” bent

Ordered 2x sets of avocado rolls (8 pieces each) and 1 of kappa roll (8 pieces). The rolls were delicious, well made and inexpensive. Best price in Chilliwack for sushi rolls. They even put in two deep fried yam rolls free of charge to try which were also pretty good. We have been here many times and love this sushi restaurant, it is the best in the Fraser Valley and perhaps even beyond. Thank you Woo Mai!!

I love Woo Mai Sushi! What used to be the sight for the Black Forest Restaurant The owners have transformed the inside to be very traditional. The food is amazing, when ever I want traditional Sushi I go to Woo Mai ♥. It is always busy here which is great it adds to the atmosphere and the service is always good and prompt. On slow days the Chef sends over little carved slices of Apples that look like rabbits and oranges sliced like boats.

Food: 7/10 Staff: 1/10 - Food was delivered very slowly. Most folks were already finished eating by the time the last meals were being delivered to the table. - Sunomono salad was tasteless. The WORST experience in any restaurant, of any kind, ever. Horrible service, it took 15 minutes to have a server arrive, and another 10 minutes to have a water brought to the table. Other patrons who arrived after we arrived were served water, tea, and their orders taken before we were even approached. The Miso soup was horrible, salty, and lukewarm. When we asked for fresh, hot soup, it was put in the microwave, and given back in the same bowl! Disgusting. Then the order was grossly incorrect, I was given a sushi roll that I did not order, but the server insisted it was correct. Sashimi was ordered, and instead, a pile of overcooked salmon with some kind of cornstarch sauce arrived, eventually. Tea was in a coffee cup, and at that point, we had to leave. If you have any common sense for your own safety, stay away, if the service is any indication of the quality of food, go at your own risk.

Ordered three spicy salmon rolls, it was simply a normal salmon roll with some fricken franks red hot sauce on top. This is the ONLY sushi place I have ever been too that has done this. This is not a spicy salmon roll. The price for a small salmon roll, that is messy and falling apart, with spicy sauce is ridiculous. I expected a real sushi roll, not some half assed, low quality garbage? Learn to make sushi before selling it, thanks.

I don't know what these other reviews are about. It took me 30 minutes to get 2 rolls in an empty restaurant, they forgot my drink 2 times, and the nigiri was sliced as thin as about 2 quarters.

There use to be two lovely waitresses there. The service and food was amazing. Since they left the service is horrible. I'm finding them forgetting important ingredients in foods. We wait extended times. I swear the lady avoids eye contact on purpose.

My co-workers and I order out for lunch from here often, and always enjoy it. When eating at the restaurant, the food is always delicious, and the service prompt and friendly. I have never had a bad experience there. I'm not a foodie or food critic, but I'm going to say two thumbs up. My favorite sushi restaurant in town.

The worst sushi I've had in a while. Badly rolled (loose and messy). A potentially beautiful salmon and scallop roll was slathered in a sauce that tasted like ketchup. Only good thing was the service. Would not go back

Best tasting and freshest in town. Fair prices for the huge portions and cuts of fish you get. Excellent service and always smiling staff. I have been coming here for 14 years now. Been tons of sushi restaurants and always call Woomai my favorite. I would recommend to anyone.

SERVICE: A bit strange because my mother-in-law and husband ordered sake and I asked for a coke but I got ID'd? At the same time, I think the waitress knew my husband and my mother-in-law enough to know they were over 21, so maybe that's why.

Best sushi we've had in the Fraser Valley. We've been coming for years - I'm partial to their spicy black dragon roll and my husband loves their Snow White roll. Excellent, sincere service. Nice atmosphere if you choose to dine in. Honestly, we can't even imagine anyone saying an unkind word about this place!

First they didnt change their prices on the menu and the order came up double the price it should of been. Secondly they gave us stuff we didn't even ordered. Third, and most importantly, it literally was the worst sushi I've ever had.. Don't recommend you get anything deep fried as it comes out burnt and not edible. Not even the California rolls tasted good. Do not recommend wasting your money.
