Sadly disappointed with this place. The portion sizes are really sad. We paid $55 for our food and with the quantity we got, it shouldn’t have been more than $30 tops. The rolls reminded me of pre-made grocery store sushi and the vermicelli noodles in the sunomono salad were as though they were in the fridge for days before serving to us. We wayyy overpaid for food here today. Too bad.

they got a good variety of choices of meat and seafood. The waiters and waitresses were friendly. Having a reservation is good,each serving of meat is not that much and each serving is also not that cheap, but not too over priced. the dinning area is quite nice and the atmosphere is also quite nice. Overall a good dinning experience of Japanese BBQ.

My favourite sushi place in Chilliwack. It's run by the sweetiest people and the food is amazing. I've never been disappointed by their service or their food. I also love that they have such a variety of food and flavors. Plus their portions are perfect and the price is just the cherry on top. Highly recommend.

(Translated) Teriyaki chicken is very hard, has no aroma, and has a poor taste. It should be caused by bad business and repeated heating. For the price, it's not worth it. The carrot center of tempura is hard and tasteless. The fried sweet potato chips and shrimp are good. The miso soup is not hot, just warm. The steamed rice is too rotten, there is no grains, clumps. The ramen is very poor, the soup has no fragrance at all, it can be seen that I didn’t care to make it The service is super average and not very welcoming. Under the name of Japanese food, there is no minimum service enthusiasm for Japanese food at all. In the long run, it will only destroy the brand of Japanese food. During the meal, the first sentence heard by the waiter and the skip dish picker was "Did you know you came 11 minutes early?", This impolite and condescending tone of questioning, replacing greetings with questions, is the first time I encountered it in a so-called Japanese restaurant. This young waitress needs to learn to sincerely respect others and communicate enthusiastically and gently. And not the other. (Original) 照烧鸡肉很硬，没有香味，口感很差。应该是生意不好，反复加热造成的。针对于价格，很不值。 天妇罗的胡萝卜中心很硬，没有味道。炸红薯片和虾是不错的。 miso soup不热，只是温温的。 米饭蒸的太烂，没有一粒粒的，一团团的。 拉面很差，汤头一点没有香味，可以看出根本不用心来做的 服务超一般，很不热情。 打着日本餐的招牌，根本没有日餐的起码的服务热情，长久下去，只会砸了日餐的品牌。 用餐时听到服务员和skip dish的取餐员讲的第一句话是“你知道你早来了11分钟么？”， 这种毫无礼貌、居高临下质问的口气，用问题代替问候，真的第一次在所谓的日餐厅遇到。 这个年轻女服务员需要先学习真心尊重他人，热情温和的沟通。而不是其他。

I've come here for the past 4 years very sparingly. But when I do I'm always greeted with a warmly and treated very well. The food is excellent, not the best sushi I've had but possibly the best in chilliwack. very reasonably priced, great staff, and a nice relaxing place to dine. 9/10

I normally frequent Yale sushi, but had a craving for hot sake. I googled sushi within walking distance and read the reviews to this place. Reviews are great! Upon checking it out, I found that all the reviews are 100% true. Fabulous, kind service, very sweet owner, very easy to talk to. Veggie roll is amazing!! Would recommend even to meatatarians. I don’t think I’m going back to Yale sushi again haha

Tokyo Grill's newer location inside the Royal Hotel. There's extended hours parking behind the hotel, else 2h on the street in front. Wide variety of different Japanese options, two authentic Japanese beers in the bottle for sale. Because of covid layoffs they have been catching up with service with newer staff, but the chef will make it worth the wait.

Would do a zero if I could. Ordered $60 with of food. Got 3 packs of soy sauce. Every roll is more rice than anything. Sashimi is usually my favorite thing and the portion was tiny and not fresh in the slightest. Pathetic portions for everything.

Splurging on a very rare lunch out at Tokyo Grill. Food was great as usual, but what really impressed me is the server. To keep businesses above water, servers have become multi-tasking wizards. Kudos to my server as he gave amazing service and still managed to deal with food pick ups, (there were a lot) serving in-dining customers and the addition of washing dishes. All of this with a very pleasant attitude. Well done for doing everything your can to keep your employer afloat during this difficult time. Support this local restaurant. It deserves it.

Horrible meal. Paid $6.50 for about 8-9 small pieces of spicy tofu, coated in thick cheap tasting sauce. Worst bulgogi I've ever had. Dry, salty and tasteless. The "vegetables" included was just lettuce. Absolutely ruined my takeout dinner night that I treated myself to. I'll never order from here again.

I am sorry to say this but I've been to a lot of sushi restaurants in BC and the party tray I got had the most poorly made sushi/rolls I've ever had. Rice falling apart from the rolls and rice itself was dry. And nigiri pieces were small. When I went to pick up the tray, the server was super nice so I feel bad giving this kind of review but I have to be honest.

Honestly this was my best dining experience ever with any restaurant I've ever been too. First let me start by saying that the customer service provided was over the top amazing, so amazing that the lovely lady taking our order gave my fiancé a compliment that made my fiancé cry. These were happy tears of course. The food was just some of the best I've had, everything tasted perfect! Im typically the type of person that once i finish my food i like to pay my bill and get going with my day, but this place is so relaxing and has such great vibe that I could spend hours here. All I can say is thank you for great experience and keep up the amazing work!

A good variety of rolls, with quality and fresh fish- I've never had anything i haven't liked. Great value for the quality of sushi you get, the best in Chilliwack, and I've eaten at every sushi restaurant in town. This is the place I keep going back to. A bit of a hidden location, but it will be a new favourite when you find it.

Excellent sushi, great little private rooms. The owner is super friendly and greets me by name, and often tucks a little something extra on my table that I didn't order, but always enjoy. Affordable, great agadashi tofu, all the tea you can drink, and solid service. I often go there right before a movie at The Paramount, as they are right across the street from each other.

Didn't get notification until the next day these people took my money for the full order, with no food. Common decency would be to call the customer, instead of stealing their money

This is a hidden gem! They have amazing quality and selection of sashimi, and their deep fried gyoza are the best I've ever had! I've tried a variety of items from the menu and havent had a single bad bite! The service is always amazing and staff are warm and welcoming, the only place in town I've been to with private booths! The decor isnt anything to write home about and the location is sketchy but the food and service get 5 stars from me and is easily my fav restaraunt in town!

We went in on a Friday night at around 7. It was pretty empty which is always a little concerning, but we sat down and were glad we did! We were seated in one of their little booths and enjoyed excellent sushi and very friendly service. My wife had a generous portion of tofu teriyaki and I enjoyed a few different rolls. If we're in the mood for sushi in Chilliwack again, we'll return! Location is just off the main drag, so it's a bit tough to find.
