Their salad rolls with spring roll is an absolute must try. Oh and their wonton soup is a warm hug to your soul. This is truely chilliwack's gem for authentic vietnamese cuisine. The place was recently renovated, the owners are warm and always have a smile on their faces, excellent service, excellent food. Can't recommend this place highly enough.

When I visited Chilliwack on a business trip, I went to this nice restaurant. Many regular customers seemed to be local residents. Pho and Vietnamese coffee combo were excellent in price and taste. You can visit Chilliwack and make happy memories here.

I do agree their pho is great. Fresh, good broth, one of the best in BC. But their service is horrible. I got in and asked for table for 5 people. 3 of us were running little late. A lady server threatened us to move us to a different table if they don't arrive shortly. I would understand if it was peak hours where people are waiting. However, it was past peak time and most tables were empty and I didn't see any reservation sign. Totally ruined my dining experience. Afterwards, I hesitate to go back. Is my pho craving worth to see that lady again? A lot of times it is not.

Cute and cosy place for pho! Quick and fast service for both dine in and take out. My only issue is that since this place is pretty popular on holidays/weekends during peak hours it’s hard to be seated quickly due to other customers. This place is always busy and for good reason, owners are pleasant and genuine and with everything from traditional soup and coffee to combo dishes and appies, it's no wonder why they have so many frequent repeat customers.

I am very picky when it comes to Pho. I ordered the galaxy special #22 but asked for spicy broth. I must say this is the best Pho I have ever had......a close 2nd place would be Pho Tau Bay in Surrey but this place takes the cake!! I was just passing through Chilliwack and decided to try this place, my only regret is that I don't live closer to this restaurant........highly recommend!!!!!

ordered the take out today. however, the size of the take out bowl is too small and not possible to put meat and noodle and veggies all in one. compared with the size of the bowl they offered in store,it is not make sense they only offer these extremely small bowl for all. the meat do have some weird smell once just opened. not sure is fresh anymore. would not try take out anymore for sure.

Apparently this is the only Pho place in town, but I'd rather starve than go back and deal with her attitude.. Pho is the only food I regularly eat. The service is very brusk, bordering on rude, but the food was great and the portions were monstrous. The salad rolls alone were twice the size of others, we ended up with a LOT of food but enjoyed it. I didn't enjoy the discourteous staff, who showed up at the table shouting "Number 37, number 37!", assuming that I knew what number on the menu corresponds with Chop Suey or Beef Pho with Tripe etc. There were 8 people in the restaurant, it's not that hard to figure out who gets what.

Update. My twelve year old son just said, "that is some of the best food I have ever tasted". Allan the owner personally drives into Vancouver to pick his produce. This is why their food is so fresh. To be honest this is one of the very few places I have had Pho but I know many experienced Pho conasuers and they say this beats every Pho restaurant from Chilliwack right through Vancouver.

Just had the worst experience as a customer for this joint. We have been going to this place for at least the last 6 years and gradually their service is going down. I have not seen the owner for a long time and the guy working as the waiter and acting as the owner was very rude and offensive yelling at us for my wife mentioning that he should not throw menu on the table in front of the customers. He made himself look bad in front of other customers and we left. We will never come back to this run down joint because they think they are the best in town but they need to know there are a lot of choices in this city and that they can not get away with this kind of behavior.

Burnt food, no vegetarian broth for pho, refused to answer questions or provide options, cold tea, rushed, and upon complaining they were very defensive, guarded and rude. No apologies made on their part. Incredibly cheap behaviour! I was shook! Go with take out otherwise the iPHO place in Sardis is where you wanna go for a pleasant quiet and relaxing atmosphere! My wife and I, when we lived near by, used to frequent this place at least once a week. We both love the food and the people. The owner, Al, is one of the nicest, kindest people I've ever had the fortune to meet. He cares about his food and does whatever he can to keep the quality top notch and the prices low. And he also cares greatly for his customers. Just today I brought a friend in to have lunch (who had never been and could not STOP raving about how delicious the food was!) and Al remembered I had been in a few months back and he has overcharged me. He actually kept the bill and refunded me the money he said he overcharged me. I promptly put it back in their tip jar because, come on, talk about caring about your customers! You will not find a better restaurant or staff anywhere!

Food is good, owner is nice. They only allow take-out at the moment, and the container provided for the broth is way too small to mix the Pho together. Please provide a larger container for the Pho so it can be enjoyed at the same time.

Workers are consistently rude, I have visited this restaurant 10+ times when in town and there is always an issue with the workers and customers (not myself, but have witnessed numerous disagreements). I will return based on food quality - guess you can't have it all!

Out of all the pho places I go to, hands down this is the place to go! I've never been disappointed with their service (didn't have to wait too long and friendly too!), their meals or the price. The only thing is that it can get quite busy during the weekends (line ups out the door) but go any other time and you'll be sure to find a table.

Worst customer service you'll probably ever receive. High paced work environment, crammed in a small building. Refused to give my an extra bowl to-go once. Another time they also served me the tofu vegatarian soup. I recall that it was placed under "BEEF PHO" on the menu. But I asked her to make it with cabbage BROTH, she said yes. Then she served me "vegatarian tofu pho" with BEEF BROTH... I couldn't believe it. Tried to convince me it was veggie BROTH but it was BEEF. Then took it back after making a fuss. Couldn't imagine how many vegans have ate it not knowing..

Good prices combined with good quality food made this place stand out for me. Their four combo deals are worth every penny. I expected small sized portions but was just able to finish. Everything seemed very fresh: the salad roll was amazing. The only thing I wasn't really fond of was the fried spring roll: the filling felt a bit too homogeneous to me... Not really anything definable inside though it tasted fine. The other parts of the meal really did satisfy in terms of tastes and textures, so perhaps the spring rolls were fine but lacked in comparison to otherwise very very good food.

I ordered a combo special-beef noodle and salad roll with orange fish sauce. Ask them to mix everything in the take out bowl, and eat it right away in your car in parking lot. That way you will find everything right and taste delicious.

We’ve been in many times, good food for great prices. However we ordered some salad rolls to go and they just tasted very off, and the service was very very different from usual. Speaking in a language I don’t speak, looking me over, and laughing while making me wait 10 minutes while my rolls got soggy. Perhaps just a bad day, will try again!

This place is great, and not just for pho! (Pronounced like "fuh"????) They also have fried rice and sweet and sour chicken, chow mein and veggies, and the works, and the staff are very hard at work as this restaurant is very popular. In a hurry? Call ahead to have your order ready to go when you get there! The staff are always attentive and friendly, and tips are graciously accepted. Try it out once and you'll find yourself returning again and again!

Galaxy is the best Pho in Chilliwack, by a long shot. It even rivals much of the Vietnamese I've had in Vancouver (which is a lot). The ambience is weak, but the service is decent. Wish they would open another location on the South side of Chilliwack! Note: #35, galaxy wanton or special 4 are my go to orders (#35 being the grand champion).

I began to get to know AL and his wife. Co workers and so forth. The soup is amazing I've never had better. Even with traveling to Vancouver etc. This is the best restaurant in Chilliwack. Can't help but laugh at the people complaining about the service experience at a restaurant where you can get a huge meal for $10 and some change. Food is fantastic and hands down the best Vietnamese you can find in the Valley without traveling into Metro Van. #22 and #35 are the way to go. My kid also loves the fried wonton appetizer. Portions are generous, soup is clean and flavourful, and food comes out fast. If you want fancy service, go eat at Earls. This is a family run, cheap eats establishment and shouldn't be judged as anything else.

We loved that the fried spring roll was served on a bed of shaved pickled carrot and daikon. Soup bowls did not skimp on the meat portion and was quite filling. We both got the Galaxy Combo, which included a soup and roll -- a great value! I got the chicken deluxe soup. The shredded chicken could've used a bit more flavour but the chicken balls made up for it. A pleasant surprise to find this restaurant in Chilliwack.

Wr have tried pho all over the lower mainland and fraser valley, and this place is head and shoulders above the rest. Their staff are welcoming and treat you like family, they let your coffee brew in front of you, the owner buys the ingredients fresh daily, and they make the stock fresh every day. Their pho is truly flavourful and clear, the noodles are perfectly cooked, and their coffee is amazing. We have been regulars nearly 3 years now and even after we moved to langley, we still find ourselves missing this place to the point that we drive out to chilliwack just to eat here. Thankyou to the amazing staff and owners for remembering our order even after a couple months, and for treating us like family! We will be back again soon!

Pho - 4 stars, Service - 0 stars Really wanted to give this place a better rating because the pho is pretty good but the service was just beyond horrible. After being yelled at by the waitress for asking to sit at a table as a party of one, they seat another party of one AT A TABLE right behind me and then AGAIN a few minutes later. I don't feel it is an unreasonable request since there was no one other than me to be seated when I came in and there was a free table for 2. The same rude waitress then comes back after a long time and throws a menu on the bar, even though I already ordered with the other waiter. People say you don't go to Asian restaurants for service, so I get it....but I've NEVER been treated like this at ANY restaurant. Busy roadside food stalls have better service and attitude than this place! Broth is on the sweet side, heavy handed with the MSG. Not that I'm anti-MSG but the broth was umami to the detriment of masking all the other subtle flavours that are supposed to be there in a pho broth. The chili oil on the table is quite good.

I eat pho a couple of times a week and have hit most of the notable pho joints in Van and beyond and nothing comes close to the soup that Al and his team make. The broth is almost always perfect. Never fake tasting, overly salty/msg laden, or watered down near the end if the day to make it go farther. I always stop to eat here when in Chilliwack - even if I'm not hungry. Pho places are popping up everywhere. But this is by far the best in Chilliwack. Don't bother ordering any entree that isn't soup. Try the hue style pho if you like spice. And don't miss your chance to try the Vietnamese coffee.

Walked into the restaurant and there was one table left. I was told in an aggressive manner to sit at the high top bar stools and not to take the table. I told the owner that I didn’t want to sit at a high top since I feel more comfortable sitting lower and don’t like sitting on bar stools because of my back. He than got his wife to come out who yelled at me to go to the bar stool. I got up shook my head and walked out. Very very poor customer service. Food might be good from what I hear but I’ll never eat there and wouldn’t recommend it with that kind of customer service.

Super authentic. Had the Bun Rieu and bun bo hui. Both had really good broths with very distinct flavours.

FRESH FRESH food and ingredients everytimr are have ordered. Customer service is top notch, very friendly and happy people. We love this place, we have been going here for many years now. LOVE IT!!!

Pho is exactly what you expect. Good pho. Quick service. Somewhat hard to find location if you've never been there. Would eat here again

Probably one of the better Pho joints in Chilliwack. Good flavor and generous portions. Always busy. If looking for a good bet go here and skip the others in town.

Great pho restaurant. I've had my share of pho in Vancouver and most of them are mediocre at best. This place is terrific. Price/portion were good. Not the most meat but still a lot. Noodles had a fresh springy texture. Broth was flavourful although perhaps a bit oily for some.would definitely come again. Owner was really nice and knew a lot of regulars and their orders. Place was pretty busy by 11:20am on a Friday.

Found several hairs in my calamari order. After a long day of travel I chose to stop in for a quick bite however they provided semi warm broth and expected I bring the soup home to reboil the broth and cook my own meat as well as make my soup seeing as there was not enough space for anything in the broth container. The noodles were a brick, the vermicelli was bland with no flavour. I was absolutely disgusted and not impressed at all with the quality, taste or temperature of the food. When bringing the hair to their attention the employee started yelling at me and stating that they do not provide refunds then turned and yelled at a coworker in their language. I said I did not want to start an argument I just wanted a refund. She continued then requested a male employee come out to discuss the matter. He then proceeded to call the police. The officers were confused as this was regarding hair in the food and there was no violence occurring. Throughout this entire interaction they did not respect social distancing, no face masks were being worn, no hand sanitizer was offered in the building and they were not keeping 6 feet distance between us. I would not recommend anyone visit this restaurant.

The pho here is great. Very healing. This place is always busy at lunchtime. It does get cold if you sit near the entrance. The dining area is long and the path to the register/kitchen/washrooms is narrow. "Beeep, Beeeep" go the servers carrying hot pho from the kitchen. And it is fitting too because it is much like driving in SE Asia: more frightening than it is dangerous. But you'll feel better when you have slurped up those first dozen spoonfuls of hot pho. Sweet relief for the sore throat, headache and congestion that go with the cold season.
