Frankie's is close to home & delicious—but, mildly pricey for our wallet. We usually end up at Vita Bella for Italian but decided that it had been a while since we'd visited Frankie's. And, they have a pretty stellar patio. Service was good, food was really good (tiramisu was just okay), and the house made drink was also really tasty. -Beer; sorry, forgot which one -Cucumber mule -Bruschetta -Pesto gnocchi -Casarecce boscaiola -2x 9oz. Big Bang Theory red by Blasted Church -Tiramisu It was about $100 before tip. We'll be back, for sure.

Maybe it was our fault for arriving at this place at 7 in the evening. Upon entering, we were asked whether we wanted to sit at the bar. I had a three-year-old with me. We asked to be seated at the dining area. Although, Google Maps says that they are open until 10p.m., that’s mostly for the bar.

Went for happy hour and ordered everything on their menu. Server was great, even recommended that we skip a few items and double up on others despite leaving the bill total after doing so to be lower than it would have been originally. The space was clean and well kept, food was pretty good definitely try the olives and polenta fries.

We had another excellent Mother's Day Buffet Brunch at Frankie's! We have been going for the buffet brunch for several years! It's always fun and the service is amazing! The food is high quality with a great variety of dishes. The chocolate fountain is always a hit with the children! We never have an issue with reservations and the price is great. Highly recommend Frankie's.

We ordered a lasagna and a gluten free pasta for pick up. We usually order from a different Italian place across town, but they're closed on Sunday's. The prices were very similar, but the portions are not! The lasagna was $17 plus tax, and we only got 1 little square. At the other Italian place you get your own lasagna for that price (6 squares worth)!!! And the bolognese sauce for the gluten free pasta ($17 plus tax) was kinda ok. When I order from the other place, a pasta portion will give me 2 full dinners and a snack! And it tastes WAY better! This was a large lunch portion at best. They can't say your paying for freshness, because the other place makes it fresh too! We will never be eating here ever again. Keep googling

Been here a few times for dinner. Clean and spacious inside, the servers are always very nice and so far the food has been nice. Here is my "keto" option, had to say no to the delicious bread that came with it but my friend had no problem devouring it.

Frankies is one of the best restaurants in Chilliwack. The happy hours is one of the best anywhere with $3 appies. Occasionally the meals are over salted but overall I have not had a bad meal here. They have some amazingly large round tables for large families and have a private room available for rent.

This absolutely THE best restaurant in chilliwack period! I went once and ended up back there 5 times in 2 weeks! The happy hour is insane, every single item I've tried on their menu has blown my expectations out of the water and the atmosphere is absolutely delightful! Best patio in chilliwack by far. We honestly haven't been anywhere since we found Frankies! What a breath of fresh air!

This is a fancy restaurant, the food is really good. The atmosphere is intimate with your table, but a nice distance from the other tables. The lighting was a little dim, but your eyes adjust to it. The food was nicely presented. Be aware some of the "meals" have small portions and require appetizers before hand to fill up some people. All in all, good food, good service, a little pricey, but worth a visit if you have money to burn.

Made a reservation and were seated immediately, only to be forgotten about. Sat there for 30min without being acknowledged in any way, didn't even get asked about drinks. Watched the tables around us being tended too and kept having waitresses walk right past our table. Up and left won't go back.

Good Italian food with reasonable size portions not Anton's size but tasty. I had the seafood fettuccini and it has crab, prawns, and mussels in it that were reasonable size not small. Nicely decorated restaurant and catering for the more upscale from Earls or Cactus club scene.

The $31 seafood linguine, disappointed. Half lobster is the size of a crawfish. The dish is way overpriced for the size of the meal. Pasta could have doubled to make the meal a substance meal. ( at no cost to them ). If you want a meal, dont waste your money.

We used to dine here regularly but recently we have had two bad experiences in a row which have been extremely disappointing. The first was dining in with terrible service and the second was a take out order in which the beef tenderloin we received was uncooked and actually cold inside. I tried to complain about the food incident and was ignored. I understand there is off days but twice in a row and not even a response was a bit disappointing especially after spending $200 on a family dinner here once a week.

Service was great, as was the atmosphere in the nicely decorated dining room. I have enjoyed the food here a few times but the meal this time did not meet my previous experience. The noodles in my lasagna were too el dente. Made for a very chewy experience. The portions are good. I will try them again as they are generally really good.

Pretty good. Went for my wife's bday. The service was awesome and the people were friendly. My only problem was my pasta sauce and meal was lacking something. It just tasted a little blah for the what we ordered. I would go back and try a different dish, or try the same one again. Plus it is a lovely place for a dinner.

Frankie's was okay. For the portions you get it was expensive. The spaghetti sause wasn't that good... I've made better at home. We ordered the muscles for an appatizer and they used a tomato sauce. I think a garlic butter sauce would have been better. It was nice to get out but I think I would try a different Italian Restaurant next time. Oh ya... One more thing. We were still relaxing and finishing our drinks when the waitress brought our bill with the debit machine. Made us feel like we had to leave. It wasn't even busy. I guess I can see why.

This place is a real treat in Chilliwack. The interior is well decorated with professional staff. The food is excellent - beef carpaccio and filet mignon are well made. Halibut is awesome. Lemon tart and creme brule are delicious. Good wines in large stemware; linen napkins; fresh-baked focaccia bread; all accompany your meal. I highly recommend this restaurant if you enjoy decadent Italian cuisine.

We had horrible service from our accented server in the lounge. Sat with closed menu on edge of table far to long, she was more concerned with cleaning unused tables. Not once did she ask how our food was. Had to get the lovely hostess to help with getting leftovers packed up. Her $2 tip was more then she deserved.

The short: - dined-in once in Jan 2021, and might try again - 5 stars for service and amenities. Jenna was excellent, patient and kind in accommodating my dietary conditions - 3.5 stars for food. It was good, but felt it was slightly overpriced for its quality The long: - gluten-free food and drink options available - food: my off-menu, diet-friendly item (salmon, eggs, and avocado) was decent, salmon skin was done well but the fish was a little dry. My friends liked the chicken linguini, veggie pasta, and polenta fries. They found that the chicken wings were dry and hot sauce was decent. Complimentary focaccia bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar was offered. - drinks: my friend liked the Persephone ipa. They have a gluten-free lager but were out of it. - parking: ample dedicated parking - dogs not allowed - nice ambience with a lot of seating space - good COVID-19 measures: staff wore masks, barriers between tables, QR code menu, sanitizer stations.

It was my birthday dinner and I decided to come here because my mom had been to the one in Vancouver and thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was tasty, but the portions were ridiculously small. You paid $16-$20 for an appetizer sized meal and we all left hungry. I don't think we'll be coming back again.

Stayed in Chilliwack for 3 nights had dinner here twice since it was so good. We enjoyed a few appetizers muscles, shrimp and carpaccio! The best was the mushrooms ravioli! Definitely a must try if your in need of a great dinner.

I am so disappointed. Frankie's was my favorite restaurant and I ordered weekly as I'm an essential worker at a retirement facility and am not allowed to leave my home... but last time I ordered, my pizza arrived cold, no cheese or sauce, and gross. I contacted the restaurant and offered photos. They asked for the photos and offered a gift card as I paid over 17 dollars for pizza I couldn't even eat. I sent the photos. It's been 3 weeks and no coupon has been sent and no response. I will not be recommending Frankie's anymore which is a shame as I used to recommend anyone and everyone. Enjoy the last $17 myself and my friends will ever spend on your establishment.

We had mussels, lasagna, and seafood linguini. All three are great! Then we ordered tiramisu, chocolate torte, and ice cream pizelle sandwich. We can't finish everything, but we felt very satisfied. The service is great and the food is awesome. Highly recommended. We didn't like the flies flying in the restaurant as they opened the patio door. But I guess they need to keep the patio door open for staff and guests walking in and out without touching the door. The other thing we hope to see improvement is the dining tables. The renovation in the restaurant is really classy, but the simple wood tables do not really match.

The food choices are diversified and interesting. Our meals were excellent, the presentation AND flavors were very good. Stylish interior, spacious, ample space ???? the service was great, attention to detail, knowledgeable and professional. Definitely a destination if you are visiting Chillwack. House wines are superb, and they have amazing glasses!

This Frankie's isn't as luxurious as their downtown Vancouver location but there was a casual elegance about it. The noise was much quieter than most new restaurants these days.

Amazing Service Amy (General Manager) Skip the DIshes driver was arrogant, confrontational and a complete waste of space for a human being....his name is Kent. The Driver never delivered our food, told us to wait out side so we could see him and screamed on the phone to me "do you want you ******* food or not". Skip the dishes never delivered our food, the driver still got paid and tipped, never returned the food to Frankies or sent other driver to deliver. Amy the manager was able to resolve the Skip the Dishes driver problems and arranged to deliver our food to us. Frankies staff and Amy are amazing - taking on a bad situation with skip the dishes and working on getting us our dinner. Thank you Amy!

The old location, though in an undesirable area, was a much nicer ambience. The new restaurant resembles a White Spot. The lounge looks nicer, but is ridiculously loud. The staff has gotten younger, ruder, and no one seems to know how to operate a Pos system. Yesterday was my second time dealing with rude employees, who's attitude would not fly at Mcdonalds. The only thing that hasn't changed is the food, which was never their strong point. I'm curious to know if management has changed since moving to Sardis. I'm so disappointed with the new Frankies.

Going to be a bit of a stickler here. The food was on point. Everything edible was incredible and presented well in that 'casual fine dining' style. The service was great in terms of speed and attention but they missed a few little touches that I like to see. Our server may not have been aware of or perhaps forgot that it's fairly common to have oil and vinegar on the table with bread during an Italian meal. We eventually got some but I had to ask and I wish it was just delivered with the bread. A little clumsy while pouring beverages which is not uncommon but still takes away from the experience a bit imo. Beyond that the meal was excellent and as we left we discovered they have a very reasonable corkage fee for those who cellar their favorite wines like we do. Will definitely be coming back.

We visited the Frankie's for the first time and our overall experience was not bad. However, the service could have been better. It took the waitress 10 mins to come and take our drinks order so we also ordered starters and mains at this point. The starters were brought out 20 mins later and the mains about 2 mins after that. The food was decent but nothing special. Half way through our meal we noticed that everyone had bread brought out to them when the sat down but we had not even been offered bread. When we asked about it our waitress did apologize and bring us some bread with vinegar and olive oil. After our meal we ordered some deserts, a tiramisu and a chocolate torte. The chocolate torte was very nice although impossible to finish. In fact, the chocolate torte was probably the best part of our meal. The tiramisu however, didn't come out and no one came to see how we were doing so we couldn't even tell anyone. When the waitress finally did come back and we mentioned it to her she was very nice and gave us a free tiramisu. Although our experience was not the best, I would return.

Celebrated a milestone 70th birthday for our brother in law . Big mistake worst meal in a long time . Food was very low quality 2nd rate , portions were small price was way over the top. Charged nickle and dimes for everything. Wife had a chicken breast that looked like it had been boiled not broiled. My steak 8ounce sirloin was not even nice to look at . For the two of us the bill came to 93 dollars with a nice surprise of a gratuity added in the bill because there was over 8 people. For 93 dollars we could have went to dennys or rickeys and brought food home with us. Lots of young people working in the kitchen with one adult supervising. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone . Disgusting!

Went with my teenage son and two ladies. We all had pasta. While the meal was tasty and the service good, the serving size was terrible. Both ladies completely finished their meals and my son and I left hungry. There couldn't have been more than 25 cents of pasta in my bowl and it was a $31 entrée! Four bowls of pasta was over $100. One thing about Chilliwack, you have to serve decent portions. The two ladies shouldn't have been able to finish their meals. They were both relatively light eaters. I won't be back.

Was there for lunch with my mom and the lasagna was as good as she even makes it. No chunks of vegetables which makes it the best I've ever had in a restaurant. We sat on the lounge side and there was 4 different attractive waitresses that all came up to our table. The hostess and waitress Hannah really stood out that is for sure. A super bright big smile. The service was excellent. The beer really cold and quick to. Overall I'd definitely recommend Frankie's to anyone. And will be back for sure to.

Ordered through skip the dishes but called prior to request a dish which isn’t on the menu. I was dealt promtly by host, haley? on the phone and amazingly as always by Luke whom i was passed on to and takes my orders when dining in. The chef cooked my spaghetti aglio e olio to perfection with that kick of spice! Reminds me of the days when I lived in Europe. Skip the dishes was promt and delivered the food warm and well presented. Also, the cheesecake is heavy, as it should be! But is delicious and fresh. Thanks!!

Awesome patio and consistent, amazing service. The only gripe I have is that particular dishes are not always available due to stock outs. Keep in mind it’s Covid and all sorts of delays are experienced throughout different industries.... Alternative options are always offered and promote trying new items -which are generally great. Dress nice, this is more than casual dining. The atmosphere is cozy and mostly covered! If you want to feel the place out, check out happy hour.

The restaurant itself is very nicely done. Once past the glitz and into the food the impression plummets. My cioppino was very poorly executed, the piece of salmon was beyond overcooked, it was cucified, the tomato sauce tasted tinny and bland accompanied by soggy buttered bruschetta, Buttered? This did not work. My wife's seafood linguine was equally poor with a similar bland tinny sauce. And as a note linguine is a flat noodle not the round spaghetti that was used in her dish. I am sorry to say the food only represents Italian in name only.

Had the penne and the seafood linguine. Seafood linguine had a bunch of seafood and tasted great. A little pricey, but does come with a big hunk of lobster. Waitress brought us extra focaccia and was very attentive. Highly recommend the place, not cheap but we found value in our meal. I was there last Sunday and ordered the pizza with olives. Just a heads-up to this restaurant, I bit into an olive pit. Luckily I did not break a tooth. I probably should have told the server but I didn't. Anyway, please be more diligent about making sure no olive pits are in the olives. The customer does not expect olive pits on a pizza when biting into it.

Ate there last night the 17 Dec 2020. I ordered the Cobb Salad and was absolutely stunned when it was served to me. Basically, a half head of iceberg lettuce cut into 4 pieces in the middle of the plate with about 12 small pieces of chicken and 3 cherry tomatoes on the side at a cost of $18.00. I asked the waitress if I was served the right salad and she said yes...that's the cobb salad. I would have been served a better salad for less than half that price from Wendy's or McDonalds. Very disappointed!

Nice place. The food is pretty good if you appreciate the authentic Italian palate. Portions leave a man hungry, but good size for your lady. The wine list is good and the atmosphere is pleasant. It's hard to give anywhere 5 starts but this place gets a solid 4 for effort. It's definitely more of a date type place or adult groups. Not much for kids there and you feel like they're bothering people in close proximity.

Service Issues and Small Portions - we came here with a group on Thursday July 19 2018. First, I will acknowledge that the staff was overwhelmed and not prepared to deal with the amount of people that showed up in addition to our group. However, that aside we were very disappointed with service speed, attentiveness, portion size, and food quality. Our table alone sent 5 dishes back and we dont usually ever. Shocking small portions and high prices - $15 for a small little dish of 4 prawns. Pizza burnt black on bottom, pasta served raw, and food cold. Live music was good and we stayed for that, sat around the fire pit which we had to light. Staff was very slow to check on us and even fill water. Hoping they get better over time but I dont think well be back for quite some time if at all. Poor value for price.

I've been to Frankie's about five times now. I love the atmosphere, and they have a really inexpensive happy hour menu. However I went there yesterday with some of my girlfriends for happy hour, and there was a long black hair baked into our lasagna bites. Reeeeeeeeally disgusting! So we told the waitress about it, and they took the $5 lasagna bites off our bill. However, after that I think they should have comped our whole bill, which was only about $30 total. Probably won't be going back again, since that really grossed me and my friends out, and I don't feel as though we were adequately compensated. Still disturbed!!

This location is very surprising as well, it doesn't look very big from the outside, but it's huge once you walk in. There's a room near the back that is available for groups, which is fantastic. It's a very good size, quiet when you shut the sliding door (barn door style, very chic) and the volume of the music can be controlled in that room. It's perfect for meetings, birthdays and more. I highly recommend this wonderful restaurant.

Excellent food, service, ambiance, and value. I arrived early for lunch, one Sunday, and was seated and served right away, no problem. The space is open and comfortable, the service is friendly and efficient, and the food is absolutely delicious. I could eat the arancini for every meal, every day, it's that yummy.

Put down my name and waited outside. 10 minutes later a couple pulled in and did the same is me. 15 minutes later a waitress came outside and grabbed them first. Would not recommend if you're looking for good food. I will say that the service was fantastic, our server was professional and very friendly. We decided to sit in the lounge, the atmosphere and lighting was pleasant. Gave off some good vibes. The food was a different story... I ordered the tenderloin. While the meat was cooked well enough (But nothing impressive) the sides were obviously reheated. The layer of cheese on top of the gratin was tough and impossible to cut through, the potatoes flavorless and crumbly. Obviously pulled from a refridgerated dish and reheated in a microwave. My plate was also piping hot indicating that it spent quite some time under the heat lamp. Wife ordered the seafood pasta. She mentioned the pasta itself was okay, but the lobster that came ontop was rubbery and almost inedible. She refused to touch the shell fish after consuming the lobster and I dont blame her. Best part of the meal were the drinks and bread served upon entry. Might be worthwhile for drinks and appetizers but would not return for any sort of dining.

My wife and I had lunch yesterday at frankie's, we've always had good experiences here with food and service. But yesterday we had an issue with some of the things that we ate are very under seasoned. That's nothing really offensive but our waitress didn't even come by the table to see if we were enjoying our food. So I walked over to the manager because I recognize her and spoke to her about it nicely. I'm surprised she went and told the waitress before we even left, but she did, and the waitress came over and rudely said they took one item off of our bill. She gave my wife a really dirty look which was very upsetting. I know Frankie's is better than this.

The service we received was awesome! We were just looking for a place to sit and eat and Frankie's popped up. We did no research and were honestly a bit shocked that it was a fancy place. We had a few appetizers and then our meals. We had the polenta fries which were good, the arancini was great, beef carpaccio was awesome, and spinach dip was really damn good. Meals I had the shrimp scampi tagliatelli which was pretty good. My brother had the mushroom ravioli which he says is alright. My mother had the signature chicken fettuccine which she says was alright. We all agreed that the sauce is what let us down. We were celebrating my brother's birthday so we got a flourless chocolate tort which was really good. But honestly our server was amazing. I can't remember her name and I feel bad for that. Overall, we all agree it was a really good experience other than the sauce.

WOW. Such lovely staff, walked in a group of 5 immediately seated on patio. Gorgeous patio surrounded by flowers and a beautiful water set up. Our server (Jenna), was absolutely wonderful. Whoa! First time here and I was impressed by the service and the food! Big menu to choose from, full bar with lounge and excellent, friendly servers. We received focaccia bread with balsamic vinegar & olive oil to start. The focaccia was so fresh and served warm. I had the mushroom ravioli and I highly recommend it if you choose to have a meatless dish. Plenty of parking outside. I do recommend though you make a reservation.

We have been going to Frankie's for about two years now. We go at least three to four times a month. The service, food and management are exemplary! There was one time where my husband made a "special request". We used to live in Ontario. It seems next to impossible to find an excellent veal sandwich that we are used to. My husband made a request for one. Greg, one of the chefs at Frankie's gladly made one for him. It is actually the best veal sandwich my husband has ever had. It is actually on their lunch menu now. You have to try it. Sadly, you can't please everyone. But this couple is very pleased and will continue to go to Frankie's as long as they are around. Thank you for being an awesome restaurant and thank you for being open and serving your community during this awful virus.

There have been times where I haven’t been the greatest fan of Frankie’s— but today changed my mind! We went for lunch and the food: mussels, shrimp pasta (the baked tomatoes add a delicious amount of flavour) and the tiramisu and cheesecake were all fantastic! Service was prompt & professional. More willing to go back now than ever before. A bit on the expensive side for the portions but if you get an appetizer you won’t leave hungry.

Tried Frankies last week for my boyfriend’s birthday and we were not disappointed. Due to the new covid restrictions we were able to get a seat on the patio and were pleased with the safety measures put in place, including the QR code to access the menu. Great job! Once again I find myself saying “I’m not one to write reviews” yet here I am. When a business makes that extra step towards excellence, I feel it necessary to share this experience. Tonight DoorDash became our mode of service and Frankies our substance. In the notes I asked for a specific dietary request, understanding the odds of success are generally minimal I still requested it. Upon arrival I could see it was accidentally overlooked. The nagging voice in my head said, oh just pull it apart, the realistic part of me said, it’s tough since it’s baked in and the hungry part of me called the restaurant. David answered the phone and within 3 min David had my name, number and requested corrected dinner. 10 or so minutes after that David himself called me and said, I’m on my way, see you in 15min. Frankies, thank you. I love your pizza and my family loves the tiramisu. David fixed my Pizza and although my family is eating the tiramisu in front of me while I write this, I just wanted you to know the Pizza is worth waiting for and David is one hell of a guy. Thanks for making it right and going above and beyond. You’ll always be one of our favourites. Ps: we had our wedding reception there for a reason, you’ve never let us down. Cheers.

A upscale Italian restaurant. High in price but quite good food. I had the eggs benedict and it was well made and came with a good amount of sides. One dish a colleague got was a cobb salad and it was a literal head of lettuce cut into four or five wedges which require some building before eating which I found odd. If you are looking for something on the nicer end this may very well be a ideal choice but it is not necessarily a frequent stop.

Overall it was a good experience. The steel & oak dark lager is a really good beer. I went then for lunch and was craving the beef dip, it was not as good as I expected. The beef dip itself lacked flavour or maybe they just didn't put enough dressing on the bun. The service was really good and attentive without being overbearing. Would definitely try again, but most likely won't end up getting the beef dip again.

This Frankie's isn't as luxurious as their downtown Vancouver location but there was a casual elegance about it. The noise was much quieter than most new restaurants these days. As a well travelled Canadian that can recall the amazing quality and magnificent pasta from Italy especially, Roma. I am here to inform you that Frankie's has done it, they are making high quality authentic Italian dishes using high quality ingredients sourced from Italy ( San Marzano tomatos, cured meats, durum ) all makes for an incredible Italian gastronomy experience. The bruschetta was truly amazing drizzled with there unlimited supply of olive oil and balsamic vinegar. As well their antipasto and Cesar salad were the best I had in Canada. Their pizza was truly an amazing recreation like the ones I had in Naples, Italy. Pasta was the same truly authentic Italian. I spent 4 hours sampling the menu for holes and none were found. If you like traditional Italian food this is the place.

Waitress was attentive but the restaraunt was not that busy so hard to judge. Appys came quickly and were tasty. Waitress brought some bread with oil and vinegar which was good. Main dish of chicken canneloni was ok. Wifes main dish of baked cod was a little dry and maybe overpriced. Dessert was cheesecake and was very good. $105 for two with three drinks included.

The service was amazing, JADE was one step ahead of every need, had the best suggestions and was so kind. Gwertlinger white wine was amazing Calamari was meaty, and came with a delicious dipping sauce! Shrimp scampi (substitute with spaghetti noodle, because we are basic haha) was OUT OF THIS WORLD FABULOUS! Mushroom ravioli was so decadent, creamy and scrumptious! EVEN THE FOCACCIA WAS PERFECT!
