I ordered takeout here for the first time in September. I’ve ordered from here twice now and they do not disappoint. I ordered the Sesame once and the Pad Thai. Both options tasted great and warranted ordering again. I deducted 1 star because they are following the vaccine pass now. I will continue to order from here for takeout.

When my friend took me there for dinner on Feb. 13th. I fell inlove with the place right away. Good ambience, great food and nice staffs. So the following day, I brought my husband for Valentine's day dinner. It was so lovely and romantic. He felt the same way I did on my first experience there. He ultimately loved the food. He even bought a bottle of chardonnay to complete the dinner. I would difinitely go back there again and tell my friends about the place. Your buck is totally worth the spent.

Best Thai food in chilliwack, real quality ingredients. Ithai is good too but they are hardly ever open, and Chillies is the worse in town. Chillies uses frozen peas and instant rice, and they charge more than anywhere else. Coconut Thai is affordable, and authentic quality, real bamboo shoots, real rice, real delicious.

The food is AMAZING! The prices are great with very good value in the combos that come with soup and spring rolls. We had the pad thai, yellow curry and fresh salad rolls and everything had so much flavour and was very fresh. You can choose if you want mild, medium or hot. We chose medium spice and will probably choose hot next time as we like our food spicy. The thai iced tea was delicious and refreshing. Glad I stopped in for lunch at this gem rather than going to the chain restaurants. The service was attentive. I will definitely return next time I'm in Chilliwack! The food was SO good!

The food was very tasty. It was my companion's first time having Thai food but he loved his chicken curry selection. The restaurant was clean and completely empty on Saturday 4pm that we visited but they had several of their tables marked as reserved so it seemed like it can get busy during dinner hours. The veggie soup that ordered was also fantastic. If I'm ever back in Chilliwack for lunch/dinner, I'd definitely visit this little gem again.

Good food, friendly staff (apparently family owned). The place and the food were very authentic. We ordered the combo for 4 people (chicken with cashew nuts, curry beef, vegetables, shrimp, and a rice bowl). After that we shared a fried ice cream with bananas for desert.

The food in this little hole in the wall Thai place is amazing. The ambiance is certainly lacking but they make up for it in service. We shared a pad cashew, pad thai, and angel wing. All three dishes were marvelous and serving sizes were large. All in all a place I will be going back to again and again.

Waited one full hour on a Sunday night after we ordered and our food had still not showed up. At the 40 minute mark we were told by the waiter they were sorry but it would be coming out soon. We waited another 20 minutes before getting up and leaving. The establishment didn't even have any courtesy to bring out a small appie to tie us over or anything. Just two waters sitting on the table for an hour. Clueless service and hospitality

B and I ordered the combo for 2. The combo came with 4 spring rolls, 1 green curry with chicken, 1 pad pak ruam and 2 steam rice. I got the thai ice tea and B got a beer. The food was ok. I found it had very little meat in the combo. Or should I say only the green curry had meat and all the other dishes were vegetarian dish.

Second visit after about 9 months and it was a lot better than our first. We didnt remember the food to be too good from the first visit, but visited anyways because we were craving pad thai and were pleasantly surprised. Pad thai was really good: sour and moist, full of flavour. Also ordered Panang curry, which is more watery than all the Panang curries we've ever had (more like a soup), but the flavour is all there not watered down or anything, just a different texture. Seems like a family business and the atmosphere makes the food seem more authentic. The only real complaint is the portion size for both pad thai and the rice that comes with the curry. Rice portion size is especially terrible: would need 2-3 bowls of what they serve to properly finish the curry. We took the leftover curry home to finish it with more rice at home. We would glad go back though.

Would have given it more stars are the food is really good. We ordered a few dishes for take out. It had been our first time eating here. We asked for the dishes to not be spicy at all as we were feeding it to our son. When we received the dishes they put the wrong seafood in my padtai, which meant I couldn’t eat it and our other bowl was very spicy. I called later to get it corrected and it was a long time before they agreed to fix the matter. They informed me that the one dish was already spicy so they didn’t add extra. I said when I was ordering on the phone and talking to the person about non spicy options this was when they should have informed me this. We were very disappointed in the way they handled our meal. We hand to convince them to bring us a new pad Thai as it was their mistake , they didn’t replace the dish we couldn’t eat. They offered us coconut milk which didn’t help.

My husband came here to eat one day for lunch on his drive out to Osoyoos. He told me that this place was so good that he'd drive out here again just to eat there. Talk about hyped up. A cute mom and pop restaurant that serves authentic Thai food. Ordered the Pad Thai and Pad Kee Mao. Very authentic, perfectly cooked and the flavours were DELICIOUS!! Totally worth the drive out because, y'know no one is traveling right now.

We have not been more disappointed in a meal then this one, in over a year. We ordered the combo for 4, 2 sides of spring rolls, deep fried pork wonton and fresh rolls. We had very little pork, the combined amount of chicken used was less then one breast split between 3 dishes. Shrimp in fresh rolls consisted of 1/4 shrimp per roll. Shrimp in one dish was canned shrimp.....we expect better for 95.00.

For Chilliwack this was was decent, for Thai food in general we could tell there was concessions on ingredients that would be hard to get in such a remote location. Staff were busy and didn't fill the order correctly, but overall food was okay. More expensive than it should be for the quality it was.

Wasn't sure what to expect in a smaller town but pleasantly surprised!!! Some of the best Thai food I've had including expensive restaurants in downtown London UK and Australia. Highly recommend the food but one brother is a "bit" of a #*@!, looks like he doesn't want to be there so his service is pretty bad. However if you get the right one he's attentive and personable. Food is great! Customer service... well you've got s 50/50 shot haha Also had to eat in the vehicle once after calling in my meal. Did that so it wasn't too close to closing. I just wanted to sit there and eat a bit out of the 2 go container after a long day but was told they were closing... then 4 people came in, sat down and ordered. They were still there as I drove away after eating :| Not impressed. Next time. No eat in, no tip. Still I plan on going back.

Okokok, this place wins best Thai in the last 13 years for me. This is a feat. For those of you who follow me, you know what I'm writing about. I partake of the Thai every chance I get. I even make Thai at home. This restaurant is not a good as the original BanThai on 156 street in Edmonton prior to 2008 when Gramma Nat the culinary master passed at 92yrs, (may gramma Nat be able to benefit all other beings in her passing ????????), but it is nearly as good. Still a solid five stars. True Thai Basil, and not skimpy. Fresh Kafir Limes etc. Excellent quality of Jasmine rice, finished perfectly. I ordered ThaiHot and was disappointed to only receive meh hot. I should have ordered a fish dish. Dishes were plentiful and rice was included. Value was also bang on as 6 people ate very well for $150. Gave 25% tip for very welcoming service even tho we were the second last costomers of the evening.

Take out tonight, not great, green curry, two orders, it said served with rice, so it 90% rice, a few bits of beef or chicken, no curry sauce, a few bits of vegtables. Really cant recommend the takeout. I very seldom get negative reviews but this was not great

This is the third or fourth time that I have been to this restaurant. The previous reviews indicated that the decor is tacky and that would be correct, however the food is good and very reasonably priced. For $9.95, I got the ginger chicken that comes with rice, salad, small spring roll, and started off with a cup sized bowl of broth that had a few noodles and a herb in it(think it was cilantro). They also give you the option of how spicy you want it...I had mild and my friend had medium spicy and we were both happy with the spiciness. Definitely delicious and definitely worth a repeat visit. This restaurant is located in a strip mall plaza just south of the 7-11 on Vedder Rd.

The fried wonton have absolutely ZERO meat and they charge 8 dollars. It's literally just fried dough and nothing else. Absolute ripoff. I won't be coming back. Look up fried wonton on google images and you'll see what you should expect.

A hidden gem. Location is not the best, but this was a pleasant surprise. To be honest, I didn't expect much. I'm from Vancouver so Thai food is everywhere and generally the bar for food is higher than places that are out of the lower mainland. We ordered Tom Yum, green curry, a coconut Thai fried rice, and fried banana with ice cream. They were all fantastic. I seldom write reviews, and it only happens when I'm really ecstatic about my dining experience. To whomever is reading this: you need to try this place.

Excellent Thai food! We are very impressed with the quality and value at this little gem. If we are passing through town and need to stop for a meal, we know we'll be happy with Coconut. Phad Thai was a little bit on the sweet side, but the noodle and vegetable stir-fry had authentic Thai charm to it.

The food is very flavourful. I have only one complaint, I have asked for fresh chilies cut up on the side and still have not got them. All their dishes are fantastic flavour and quantity. Don’t expect spicy because I have asked for extra spicy and it’s barley hot.

The pad thai was also pretty standard. I was able to get my Thai fix here and leave satisfied. No complaints here. I did want to highlight the restaurant was accommodating with my food restrictions. They didn't have any stand-alone vegan dishes but were able to omit a few ingredients and add extra tofu in its place. Certainly a vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free friendly place.

One word: AUTHENTIC. my wife and I have been to Thailand multiple times so we do know a little about Thai food. It's really hard to find true Thai food even in Vancouver (we lived in Van for 20 years and recently moved out here) Coconut Thai delivers that. We had Tom yum soup, Pad see ew, papaya salad, green curry, they were all amazing. Just like in Thailand, with the true flavor and spiciness. Great service as well and very attentive and polite. We are thrilled to have discovered this gem out here in Chilliwack! We will be going back to try the other dishes. People, skip Chillies Thai, they are run by Chinese and they are NOT authentic (yes we have been there twice. They serve Thai iced tea with cream on top! Gross!). Just go to Coconut Thai and your taste buds will thank you.

We've been here a couple times and the food is overall very good - green curry nice and spicy. Only issue to be well aware of is that they do not clean their shrimp. Avoid unclean shrimp unless you like eating that kind of thing. I had to discard over half the shrimp in my meal all with black lines on them, ewww. They re-made the dish using chicken so all was well after, but be warned :)

Their lunch specials are a fantastic value. Food is consistent, very authentic, fresh, well executed, and soooo flavorful. Their dishes are the best I've found anywhere outside of Thailand, and actually even better. Their chefs are very skilled, prestigious and highly trained, as shown by the various certifications posted on the restaurant window.
