Usually delicious but sadly very inconsistent with service, quality, etc. Went there last night and we both ordered fajitas Service was very slow, tables that came in after us got their food way before us. Also, the fajita platters were not sizzling and were in fact luke warm at best. Was really not impressed this time out. Sometimes when we go we are brought the complimentary chips and salsa other times we for some reason dont. I've ordered tacos 4 different times. Twice they each came on 2 tortillas and twice they did not so like I mentioned very little consistency. One time I even had to ask for the cilantro that comes on the el pastor tacos as there was none on my order. If you can get past the inconsistencies, other than my fajitas last night, the food is usually delicious and their refried beans are so good.

A year ago this was my favorite mexican place. The burrito I orderd tonight had maybe a tablespoon of pork in it. And was in a soft wrap(not fried like it used to be) I also found a strip that appeared to be plastic i pulled from my mouth that felt like hair. The burritos used to be fried and loaded with pork. This one was mainly just rice. Very disappointed. ????

I was looking for the number of Alicias and I came across a super nasty review with a lot of untrue facts about this restaurant and I’ve been to these place so many times, I can say that the chicken and beans are definitely not canned and even if you get one appy and two meals with any jarrito or pop the bill won’t be 60 dollars unless you order a fajita or alambre which is the only item in the menu that is 20 bucks or something like that if so c’mon ppl the prices are in the menu.... however I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ALICIAS FLAVOURS and I will continue to go not only for the amazing food also for the super friendly staff !! It’s crazy how some people will try to damage the reputation of small businesses just because.

Food is so good and very authentic. However, the website and sign on the door said they were open until 9pm on Fridays and we walked in shortly after 8pm and they told us they were closed. Very upsetting as we had to take our business elsewhere. Their hours are very sparse so it's very frustrating when you plan to go when they claim to be open and they tell you they are closed...

Awesome little hole in the wall. Service was quick and friendly. We tried a variety of things in the menu and nothing dissapointed. The nachos in particular with the queso sauce were mind-blowing. Will definitely be a regular stop for us on our way through Chilliwack in the future. And it's right off the highway to boot!

Excellent food. The fajitas were very good, have the mango Margherita! The guacamole was a bit different then I'm used to but I really enjoyed the pico de Gallo. Service was fast and friendly. Will definitely go back.

The food was very good as always; however, the servers had a bit of a crisis as the network was down and could not process purchase through the machine this resulted on patrons to either pay cash or etransfers in the middle of everything my soup was not packed properly and as soon as I drove away it came open and spilled into the bag, thank goodness the bag did not have any holes as it would have gotten all over my vehicle! Anyways, I called the restaurant as soon as I got home and the owner asked me to come back in couple of days that she would give me another soup on her so at the end everything is well. I asked her to please check the orders before given them to the costumer, she was very apologetic about the whole situation.

This is the 4th time. 1st time, just after opening, it was outstanding. The second time was 5/10, they were out of key ingredients and poor service. 3rd time, poor and slow service and mediocre food and the 4th time was super slow and poor service. The food is pretty good but the service is terrible. Chilliwack has several Mexican restaurants and I would recommend trying one of those.

I was warned what I ordered it was going to be a lot, I wasn't warned how fantastic the quality and flavour was. Everything is made 100% fresh daily, even the salsa. The nachos could he a meal itself and the amount of fresh steak, chorizo and bacon I got with my tacos could have been enough for two.

Alicia's is a Mexican restaurant. I found the portion sizes to be good, the flavours were excellent and the staff was friendly and efficient. I'm not a fan of restaurants who serve pop in a can or bottle, though. I've gotten used to free refills from fountain pop. Alicia's only serves pop in a single serving. There is a nice patio out front, so on a sunny day it's a great place to sit and relax.

After hearing good reviews I stopped in for lunch with my son after a hike. The service was good but the food was nothing special. We were in no rush but I was disappointed that two other tables that had come in after we had ordered got their food before us. The taco salad I had was very bland and soggy My son's tacos were ok, not much flavor and the meat was overcooked and chewy. I would like to give this place another shot but I think I will pass.

After reading and hearing rave reviews about Alicia's, we finally managed to go when they were open. Our first intro to the food was watching the server cut open store bought bags of tortilla chips and dump them in a large plastic bin. Our salsa and chips were stale and extremely salty. When we overheard another server tell a customer they were "sold out of guacamole" at 6:00pm, we were suspect of anything else being made 'from scratch'. I mean how hard can it be to mash up some avocados with lime? Service was sketchy and a table that had ordered after us received their food first. My meal (shrimp tacos) was okay, but again very salty. We didn't finish either of our meals due to salty, blandness. Drinks were weak. Service was terrible, granted the place was busy...but there was nothing special about the experience.

If I could give a minus 10 I would.Worst food ever.It says authentic but is definitely not.We were a group of 10 half the dishes that came were not even close to what ordered,I ordered a taco(chicken )salad came with burger,in this tiny bowl with 6 small nacho chips,sent back just threw shredded chicken on top of the beef(who does that) sent back and got a bowl of pureed yuck with same small 6 chips on top to hide what in bowl.The salsa was liquid no chunks the refried beans were liquid .I would say run do not walk away from this place.

I will give them 3 star. The food was quite good but the service is more in line with a mom and pop without the mom or pop. They do not have a liquor license as yet so no margaritas. Walking in it felt more cafeteria like instead of a mexican restaurant. I am sure it will improve as they get used to operating a service industry but for now they need improving.

Stopped by here for an impromptu mexican dinner stop, I adored it once our group of 3 came in. Lights, music, decor was splendid. My Fiance enjoyed his dos equis amber and burrito. I got the 4 for $11 tacos which were yummy, agreeing with a review that the meat is a bit dry. Well seasoned and everything tasted fantastic including the salsa. Our 3rd got a chimichanga and kept repeating he loved it so much, each table has a squeeze bottle of spicy brown sauce that is also tasty. We shared some fresh corn chips with cheese, guac was a very smooth texture and not used to it but we liked it. Will be stopping by here again! I want to try those fish tacos. 1 star off for dry taco meat even tho was still delicious. Servers are attentive and friendly

Me and my wife used to love this place but our last visit was pretty bad. The service and food has gone majorly downhill. We were seated outside in the cold even though there was tables inside and we asked to sit inside. As diners finished and left our server never offered to move us inside. Our food took over 40 minutes to arrive and when it did it was missing 4 tacos that we ordered. Our steak fajitas had a couple crumbs of beef in it but was 95% just peppers and onions and to make it even worse the tortillas were hard, dried out, and almost impossible to chew. After asking for our bill we also noticed we were overcharged for the tacos that we did get served. Needless to say we were very disapointed.

Had the nachos, burrito, and 2 tacos and everything was fantastic! Best nachos ever, came with a delicious cheese sauce that sure beats anything any pubs could serve. My daughter and I went to Alicia's for lunch. The waitress we had was so very nice and incredibly helpful, unfortunately though I encountered a body hair of sorts in my food after only 2 bites. I immediately informed the waitress and let her know that there was no need to make another. My daughter and I assumed that the restaurant would, of course, remove my meal from the bill. We were given a small discount of approximately $3 dollars and rather than argue the point, we left terribly disappointed ????.

This is a popular family owned smaller restaurant. Seating is limited. Especially at busy times. Even popular for Skip the Dishes. Limited kitchen size can slow down the food delivery but when you receive it, the wait was worthwhile. All freshly made. My only complaint was the size of the guacamole container which cost $2.00.

I have to say I was very disappointed. It did not feel like authentic Mexican food, the service was terrible. All our meals did not come at the right time. And the biggest disappointment was that they don't say anything and they charge 20% for a tip that is directly put on bill. And then when u pay by debit/visa the tip comes up on the machine. That is a terrible thing to do to people and inappropriate. A tip is people choice not a requirement. I will never eat at Alicia's Flavors again. Best place for Mexican in Chilliwack is Fiesta Loca.

The first time I ordered take-out was good, the second time recently I got tacos, there was no toppings at all.... just meat. Just now I ordered quesadillas, with a side of pico. They charged me $2 for the pico, and there was LESS than a tablespoon of pico, and quesadillas were supposed to come with lettuce cheese and sour cream... there was a few little pieces of cheese, and a 1/4 cup of lettuce and a tsp. Of sour cream. 1 quesadilla cake to almost $18 including the 1 tbsp. Of pico. They charge WAY too much for what you get.

Had an unreal meal at Alicia's tonight, ordered a 7 taco platter and tres leches cake. Left full to brim and very satisfied, tried beef tongue for the first time and was shocked by how much I enjoyed it. The house special cocktail Vallarta Punch was delicious, full of fruit flavor but not too sweet. 10/10 will be back again!

Okay y’all, I am the pickiest eater. Whenever someone says they wanna eat Mexican food, I roll my eyes because I have never been to a good place! I just left Alicia’s Flavours and I cannot believe how delicious it was!!!! The flavours were absolutely delicious. I had the fajitas with shrimp and my guy had the Tex Mex burrito! We are so happy we decided to stop in. And of course, the staff were friendly and welcoming. Thank you! Will be back again!

This place has great potential but is very hit and miss. Depending on when you visit the food can either be perfect or terrible and the service is a very big issue. Two out of three times we have been there it’s taken over 40 minutes to get food, and it hasn’t been right. The one time they did get it right it was amazing but we haven’t experienced that again unfortunately.

Very unhappy to try and call to order pick up and keep getting a machine but assumed they were just to busy to pick up so took the time to drive to then drive down to order only to find them not overly busy or answering any phones but got told we could sit and be served but they weren’t doing any take out orders.... why wasn’t that on their machine message and honestly why seat people but not allow take out? We should have sat, ordered and received our order then just asked for take out boxes and took it to go. I’m a huge proponent of supporting local businesses but Sadly this place I once loved won’t see my business again.

Great mexican food - my wife and I are becoming regulars, tastes just like we make at home which is a rare find when you can enjoy food out and not be disappointed - nice people always friendly, their open-faced tacos are delicious. I ordered a Chimichanga once and it was good, however not crispy so I would recommend it be fried longer to achieve that. Otherwise we are very happy and recommend the food and service here wholeheartedly!

Wish I could give 0 Stars. Waited over 40 minutes for order to be told it was given to another table. Staff came back with paper and pen to take order again - didn't even know what we had ordered. Our original server didn't even come back to our table some other staff just blamed the mistake on a training staff. When we said we would just leave they were okay with that, no plan on how to remedy the situation except to start all over again and I didn't have another hour of my life to give up. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!! Will never go back.

Anyone seeking American-style Mexican cuisine should look elsewhere. Like many of the Mexican restaurants in BC, Alicia's seems to cater to a different style of Mexican food than what most are used to if they've eaten in the US. Cheese is scarce and sauces are very watery. Chips come out of a bag, which are then lovingly dumped into a Rubbermaid container in plain view of diners. The enchiladas were more like wet tacos and despite ordering them with cheese and onion filling, there was little more than a few shredded pieces of cheese in each tortilla and none of it was warm enough to have melted. The refried beans look like they've been watered down from a can and then blended. They're so soupy they have to serve them in a bowl on the side. Burritos were absent from the dinner menu. I really wanted to like Alicia's because the Fraser Valley is starving for good Mexican cuisine. Sadly, I won't be returning any time soon.

I would give zero stars if I could Ordered the $16.00 enchiladas, asked for the shredded beef instead of ground beef which would be an extra two dollars. I was fine with that. Food came and it had no taste. Rice was mushy and boring. The red sauce was just plain tomato sauce, the green sauce was ok...asked for hot sauce to add some flavor When the bill came we were charged 2.00 extra per enchilada ( four small ones) and two dollars for the hot sauce So our 16.00 dollar snack became 32.00 Won't be going back. Wish I would have complained but was in shock

Absolutely the best Mexican sit down restaurant in Chilliwack! Been here often for chips and salsa, tacos and margaritas. Can't say a bad thing about any of the food or drinks I have had and the waitress we seem to get each time is awesome. Very kind, knowing and fun to talk to! She went out her way to make our margaritas have a different look each time. They are delicious with fresh fruit- even a non alcoholic one would probably be amazing! Great customer service!

I am eleven years old and my family and I were camping in Chilliwak. My mother is a strict vegetarian and I am vegetarian too. My brother and dad don’t get to eat meat often so we wanted to find somewhere close, has meals with meat and has meals without meat. We got there and it was the cutest coziest authentic Mexican restaurant I have ever been to. The server was so nice and she helped us understand the menu and brought us anything we asked for. My mother was able to order hers with no cheese so they can go around dietary restrictions. I just mean to say their customer service is great!! ???????????? We got some chips and guacamole for the table and then each got our own meal. None of us finished our meals still hungry. We all loved Alicia’s Flavours so much because they offered many things and had the story of the chef up so you can understand why Alicia wanted to make a restaurant. I am giving it a 5 star rating and I definitely recomend eating there!!! Thank you to all the people at Alicia’s Flavours!!!!!!

The service here is really terrible. The food came out an hour after the order. The staff did not say anything for an hour. There must be a lot of sheep," he said. The food was delicious - that's an important thing to mention first because I was less impressed with all the rest. The menu is limited. Slightly compared to some places and significantly compared to others I have been. They do what they do - not a ton of choices but we had 4 dishes and all of them were good. The price is closer to your upscale sit-down joints than a typical Mexican kitchen when you consider portions. The menu shows reasonable prices but the portions are deceptively small for Mexican. The presentation is great, it's not just stacked on a plate and served but when most of the party is still a bit peckish after dinner and the bill is paid the presentation means a lot less. I might go back, we already tried a big chunk of the menu in one sitting but the food was good and it's easily the best Mexican in Chilliwack.

It's quite a boast to be the best Mexican food in the Fraser Valley, but the experience we had definitely reminded us of the Mexican hospitality. Thank you Cheryl and your team for making us feel so welcome! We had the 7 Taco platter - a great recommended sampler. The recipes are from Alicia from 3 generations ago. Tried, tested and true recipes that continue to bring joy to hungry stomaches. We did find the meat a tad bit on the dry side, but we were squeaking in an order at the end of day. We will have to come back for a proper sit down experience, but still an excellent experience here!

Excellent service. Amazing and authentic food. Pretty dang close to the real deal, one of the best Mexican meals I've had in Canada. Some menus items are a little on the high end (and also delicious) but it's definitely easy to order a meal and a drink and even a small Appy for a reasonable price and leave satisfyingly full. The staff and atmosphere are warm and welcoming. We will be back many times to come.

Very good food. I had a chipotle chicken burrito. It was delicious. My wife had tacos which were also great. Their refried beans are top notch. I asked for mine as spicy as they could make it which wasn't all that spicy. The food here is definitely better than Hugo's but not as good as Fiesta Loca. The service was amazing and the restaurant looks much nicer than Fiesta Loca or Hugo's. The burritos here are wrapped in foil and made to be hand-held so this will be my go-to lunch when I move to Chilliwack this weekend.

I ordered the Alicia’s chicken enchiladas platter and my husband ordered the fish tacos. I found the meat seasoning, beans and rice all too salty. The fish was overly battered, almost as if it were deep fried. I was expecting pan fried or baked fish... We also had chips + salsa to start and the chips were stale. On the other hand, we received friendly service but I was expecting a lot more flavour from the food.

Flavorless, over cooked The waitress was unprofessional and laughed when informed of our dissatisfaction she giggled and walked away. Tried to have a conversation with her about our food but quality checks were non existent. She arrived with the bill AND machine at the same time and when confronted for the 3rd time the waitress was extremely argumentative and stayed there was nothing tht could be done for horrible food! Gave us old, rotten, melted candies and walked away. Followed her in to try and speak with someone in charge and she just continued to argue. Nothing was done about our meals, we packed them to feed to the pigs As someone with Mexican heritage and in the restaurant industry I was completely appalled with the food and service. Do not recommend this restaurant at all!. Avoid it like covid-19 !!!????????????????

Definitely stopping here again. When you drive through Chilliwack eastbound pull over at the cottonwood Mall and go behind it to find Alicia's flavors Mexican restaurant. The service has always been terrible. Every time I've been ignored for 45 minutes or more. The staff just don't seem to care even if it's not busy. The chips aren't fresh like other places. The carnitas weren't bad but everything else wasn't good. The soup was bland basic tomato paste in a bowl. My friends quesadilla had nothing to it. Go elsewhere.

I dunno, it's not the worst food in the world but it's not the best either. I feel some plates are overpriced for the portions. Chips and pico de gallo are $9 and you can only eat like 10 chips due to very small amount of pico. A few shreds of lettuce to the side of my quesadilla was very boring. This place has great presentation and flavours a year ago when I was here. This year I would not recommend it. Tacos had no toppings just meat and were soggy. Place has gone down hill and it is sad.

Amazing service and food! These are the real deal of tacos. I highly sughest trying the platter of 5 taco flavors, soo good, the sauce is a little spicier than I expected when I poured it all over my food but it was so delish. I will definitely be going back with more friends!

Like most places in Chilliwack this place is hit or miss. A hit sometimes but most times it's incredibly salty and greasy. This used to be the best Mexican in town, something changed. I do understand that Mexican food tends to get saltier every time it's warmed up so maybe cook it with a little less salt. Also lets unvaccinated in.

My order came with a huge foot long black hair rolled into my Chicken Enchilada. I noticed it as I cut into my second bite. I notified the server and showed her the hair on my napkin. She took my plate and had the chef prepare a new dish, all the while leaving the hair on the napkin on the table for the remainder of my Wife and I's anniversary dinner. Rice and beans also tasted bland and was obviously microwaved as my beans had a cold spot in the middle. Also, the chicken is canned and not fresh made very disappointing considering our bill was over $60 for a single appy, two entrees, and two Mexican soda's.

We love this restaurant - we have gone there to dine in and then more recently order takeout. The chipotle chicken burritos are Mexican heaven on a plate! Absolutely stuffed with chicken, beans, rice and veggies. I never order anything else because I just love this one too much! ;)

Best Mexican food in Canada. Moving to the wack from LA. This is the most nostalgic spot for me to feel at home I’ve found yet in Canada. The pastor tacos are the ones to get after. Owner is amazing and so is his family who runs the spot. Don’t sleep on this spot

Music was very loud, for a restaurant! Food was good, service was good! My chimichanga, was mostly rice, and beans. Flavour was just okay! For some reason they have double billed my visa, which after 5 days still has a hold on it! For this reason I will not return here! Very bad business practice!
