The food is good and the staff friendly and efficient but it loses points for accessibility. I am in a wheelchair and find it odd that handicapped parking isn't right beside the door. Also the very short ramp area is fairly steep making access unnecessarily hard. The doors are heavy and don't have an automatic opener.

Had a very worst experience today with the girl at drive thru, I ordered just 20 minutes ago and the girl was so misbehaving and rude. Very bad expiration and this happened twice to me. Went there this evening just before 6h00pm I ordered three burgers two with cheese all were plain but one with ketchup. Very simple to make I got my order and advanced to check before leaving first burger plain no cheese fine second burger had ketchup no cheese so I went to window to to get it changed I brought the bill he gave me hard time and slapped the cheese on it and gave it back so cheese is cold not melted right. Check the ladt burger no cheese I go back again I have kids in car. This time he asked me to bring whole order back to check it. Omg I said I have kids in the car. He didn't care so I went in took the food out of my kids mouths gave him back the food and asked to be reimbursed. Which he did. But if I was the boss I would have tried to please the client he had a big attitude and they made the mistake. Not sure i will go back. Got the same thing at Wendy's with no mistakes and we all got bacon on our hambergers and it cost 2 dollars cheaper.

They offer a vegetarian burger which has great flavor and all the toppings are fresh and put on made to order. The staff were interactive while creating my burger and even educated me on what Aioli is. I would definitely recommend this place for a delicious food experience!

I will definitely suggest it to every person who want a reliable and calm place to stay. If u are coming on working days like mondays to fridays then its ideal. Hot water in winter is a gift and harveys promises it and delivers. I never had any problems staying here

I have been there twice recently. The burger was cardboard, the hotdog was overcooked, shriveled and hard, the brown gravy was so watery it didn't stick to the fries and the onion rings tasted like what you get from the grocery store. The rootbeer was perfect though and the chocolate shake was amazing. I would not go back though.

BAD and Disappointing experience in this restaurant today. I've been a semi-regular customer at this Harvey's for about 20 years so I've definitely spent a good amount of money here. Several days ago I ordered a burger, fries and a root beer from the drive-thru. I seldom order a drink so I didn't notice they hadn't given me the root beer. I only realized this when I got home. I called them to let them know but no answer. Anyhow, I ate the meal so it wouldn't get cold and figured I'd stop by the restaurant the next time I felt like having root beer. I did this today (with the receipt) and spoke to a manager, explained everything nicely. To my big surprise, she didn't give me the root beer because I hadn't come to get it the day I bought the meal. I explained that I'm a tired healthcare worker and didn't have the energy to drive back for a drink. Despite this, she told me that I should have noticed that I hadn't been given the drink. Imagine this!! All she had to do was pour me the drink. I'm so disappointed and turned off that I will never buy anything from this restaurant again. It's about the principle, professionalism, customer service and courtesy, people.

Had gone through drive thru and came home to notice a portion of my meal was missing. I had called to ask if I could return to get the missing items, was told yes, but no apology for the missing items and felt rushed on the phone. When I had went there the manager was being rude to the employees and there was another customer waiting on their items they were missing from their order as well. At least one of the younger employees were apologetic for the missing items.

Extremely disappointed! I would like to start with saying I ABSOLUTELY love Harvey's burgers. Today was a very special day that came to a bitter halt. After placing an online order, to skip all 6 cars that make up a 45 minute line up for some reason, I arrive at the store to find out they don't even have a simple sign on the door to state they only serve online orders through drive thru. (Which defeats the purpose of Online orders.) I then tried to call the restaurant, at which point it rang, and rang, and rang with no answer. At this point I take my kids to another restaurant with lower quality food. After my kids are in bed, I return to the store, sit in drive thru for 20 minutes for Kyle to tell me the restaurant won't do anything for me, because it was an online order. I understand we are in hard times, but a little foresight, and kindness goes a long way Kyle. Extremely Disappointed Customer.

The building looks dirty and rundown, parking lot hardly lit up; worst than a greasy spoon joint, not lit up or see clearly through windows which does not make it look inviting :( This was at one time a great hang out for get together in parking lot for a bite to eat. But now you take a chance just by the looks of the place for cleanliness and food that comes out of there. What's happened to this place?

This was my first time at this Harvey's location and it is without a doubt the worst Harvey's I've been to in the 40 years that I've been alive. I waited at the drive-thru window (not in line) for my order for 16 minutes and when my order was finally given to me it was basically tossed out the window at me with no word from the employee to say thank you or sorry about the weight etc. When I got it and got it home neither of the burgers that I ordered for myself or my wife have been made correctly, they either had ingredients we didn't ask for or were entirely missing ingredients that we did ask for. One of The burgers also had ketchup all over the outside of the bun as if someone had squirted ketchup on the paper before placing the burger down on it. Totally unacceptable for close to $30 in food and it makes me sad that it's my only Avenue for Harvey's in the city.

It’s much better than McDonald. They fry your hamburger right away so it’s very fresh! In McDonald? They only heat it up pre-fried patties (think of a microwave). And in Harvey’s, you choose the vegetables you want and the sauce you want: how many lettuce, tomatoes or no tomatoes, more tomatoes, pickles, etc. You get to eat onion rings instead of fries. Think about it. It’s worth the money! I love it.

I stopped in Gander for a leg stretcher and fuel stop from a trans-Atlantic flight and asked the airport personnel where a good place for lunch is that we could get in and out of being on a tight schedule. They recommended Swiss Chalet for a reasonably priced quick turnaround lunch. I got the rotisserie chicken and it was divine: juicy and just enough seasoning to not overpower the chicken and the skin was crispy not greasy like some are. My copilot ordered the chicken Parmesan plate (they call it tomato breaded chicken or something like that) and it was good too but could have used more mozzarella and "red gravy" as the traditional Italian-Americanized versions we are used to have. If you are American, I would categorize this chain as equivalent to our Boston Market chain. It's good for what it is and will not empty your wallet. However I will say that this Swiss Chalet location is a shared location with another chain called Harvey's which comes at a cost according to a friendly local we met: this Swiss Chalet does not have the full menu availability as a dedicated standalone location. For my fellow Americans, I would equate it to what is done in the US where a KFC is shared with an A&W or Taco Bell in the same building. In any event, if you find yourself in Gander, you can't go wrong here - especially since there are not a lot of restaurant options in Gander! Next time I'll try the fish & chips plate.

I've had good food at another Harveys in the Montreal area, but this place was terrible. The poutine had a curly hair in it, so when I returned it , the first thing the manager said was that it was my hair and wouldn't offer a refund I called customer service and they were suppose to email me or phone me back but they never did. The chicken burger I ordered with it wasnt great either. Perhaps It was a fluke and maybe this place is good to eat at but the experience I had wasn't pleasant.

I heard there was a promotion for free burgers going on today. I tried my luck on the app but for some reason it wouldn't locate my specific Harveys. So, I went inside only to ask the cashier about the promo who said that there was in fact a promo but the app has been having issues concerning the recognition of their location. She then told me she wasn't going to honor the promotion because of it. All in all, they have technical problems suddenly when a promo that involves the app is going on and they can't even have the decency to honor the promotion. Very cheap to not follow through on your advertisement.

I went through the drive thru Fri night about 5:15. Was an average wait time. My order was messed up. Wrong toppings on burger and they charged me for 4 piece chicken strips. What i got was 1 and a half piece chicken strips and they were overcooked, hard and dried up. This order was for my elderly parents and it was not good.

Harvey's in LaSalle is a pretty simple fast food restaurant. The service is nothing to write home about but there is also nothing to complain about either. The food, while not gourmet, is cooked well and digests easy. Could there be better ambience , could there be better more happy staff...yes...sure. Who would say no to any of that? But... BUT... is this one of the quickest, easiest, "good" burger places in LaSalle ? Absolutely. It's why it still exists while Burger King has come and gone. Long live the grill and continue to make burgers a beautiful thing.

The Harvey's manager at Lasalle location refused to serve me, claiming it was impossible to serve me an Angus burger patty with no bread - this despite the fact that other employees have served me this exact order at least 3 times in the past few weeks. When I told him this he became irate that anyone in HIS restaurant would have dared to go against his rules and serve me such an impossible order. How exactly are people like me who dont eat bread supposed to get service? I was very dissapointed, esp. because I had never beford had a bad experience at this Harveys. Perhaps this manager should read up on customer service...

Nothing special. We had a burger (ok) and a chicken wrap (hard to mess that up). Service was fast; not so friendly. Hard to make a connection with anyone in the restaurant when the music was cranked up so loud we could not hear options for food or condiments. The cashier commented that it was loud in there so instead of turning the music down she turned off a machine behind her. Didn’t help much. Next time we will pick an alternate restaurant. Bonus points though for using paper straws and bags made from recycled paper.

Staff doesn't know the menu. They don't know how to make certain menu items which are clearly listed on the menu above the counter. This location will advertise special items in the store and say they don't have and never have had that item and act like you are the idiot, when a large ad for the item is within 3ft if them. That said they make the old standbys well enough and the majority of the issues with this location are obviously due to poor management and inadequate training

The burger was soggy, the poutine and the hot dog tasted absolutely disgusting. There wasn’t enough cheese curds on the poutine and the gravy tasted like powdered chicken stock and it was barely lukewarm. I also got the wrong drink with my order. The only edible think in the whole order was the fries. We’ve eaten a lot of mediocre poutine in Montreal but this was the worst we’ve ever had.

I always loved the burgers there. But my visit there today Sunday, November 29/2020 at approx 2:30 was anything but pleasant. I walked into the restaurant to staff sitting at the tables talking loudly. I had to wait and the couple people ahead of me were waiting longer than they should have for the meal. Tables were not cleaned and were covered in dirty dishes while at least 7-8 staff were sitting around eating and very loud. Also there was a line up of people behind me. I was not a happy customer and will think twice about returning. I know this tends to be a very busy time of year with people shopping but come on Management think you need to make sure your staff are making the restaurant in a clean and great eating environment.

In addition the drive through is located in a very weird way curving at a 90 degree angle in the middle of the parking lot. It was easy to not see the speaker. They kept asking us to repeat the order, several times we repeated our very simple order, and they still got it wrong. The worst Harvey’s branch I ever visited! I place order online, and I showed them order number, but it did not work at their branch. Manger was very rough, and he did not ashamed at all. I called Harvey’s customer service at 7:56pm, agent said that she could not hear me and she wanted me to call back, I called back and came to know the line was closed at 8:00pm. They give Harvey's a bad name. Previous Review: There is a woman that works there that has a rough smoker's voice...she's not very nice! I signed up for Harvey's new club and they offered free drinks to do it. ( I got the coupon directly from an email from Harvey's.) The woman seemed angry and annoyed at me because I had a coupon. Very very bad service by her. There is a young guy that works at the drive thru sometimes and he's so nice. And another time a different woman who was working there was really nice too. 2 out of 3 is not bad.. But usually Harvey's takes customer service more seriously, so I don't know why that mean smokers voice woman is working there! Anyway, the Frings were good, and so was their Orange Milkshake. But sadly, whenever I ordered burgers here, the buns were always stale and burgers lukewarm. Not tasty. Very disappointing Harvey's location.

Just went to this Harvey's with my son who is visiting from the UK. He had proof of vaccination on his phone but he QR code, of course wasn't recognized by the iPad she was using. I forgot why I don't go there anymore, until I went there.... again. Apparently you're invisible when the workers are doing a pre-close. And I lost count on how many times the cook touched my food with his ditry, bare hands. Terrible service and extremely unhygienic. Won't make that mistake again.

Ordered grilled chicken sandwich for take out. When I got home the entire sandwich had a sour smell. Either lettuce, tomato or chicken was spoilt. I called the store to tell them and got attitude from the person (manager?). They immediately took a defensive position almost suggesting that I was lying. Don't mess with people's health, throw away the food if it's spoilt this is basic food safety issue. I don't have time to go back and forth Harveys all day to exchange or get refund. I just expect when I pay 13$ for food I get something at least edible. ???????????????? Disgusting service.

Just here today and not allowing anyone inside for take-out order and only operating drive-thru. This is really not logical unless there was a Covid case within your staff. ALL OTHER FAST FOOD allows you inside to order and take-out. By closing the option to walk-in you are declining service to those without a vehicle. You can rebut with an option to order online but there are many people who do not have a phone, nor internet. Not only this but with a walk-in the customer has to wear a mask and with drive-thru - no mask. Your business decision to close the walk-in order option is illogical, senseless and elitism - albeit at a low level.

It's ok, but they make the same mistake so many fast food places do and use the butt end of the tomato as a garnish. Please, don't be so cheap and thoughtless toward your customer. You wouldn't use this tasteless part on your own sandwich or burger at home, so don't foist it on paying customers.

I love Harvey's and everyone has good and bad experiences at fast food restaurants. I never really have bad experiences as I feel I bring the appropriate attitude. But a fast food restaurant is a fast food restaurant.

We came in really late on a weekend and ordered slushes, it took a while but they were amazing and we got them for free because of the wait. (We also got a milkshake that was the best milkshake I have ever had)

Refused to serve me a hamburger without the bun. Gluten intolerance and celiac are real things. It’s not difficult to serve a hamburger in a container. Every other burger restaurant does it. This manager needs firing.

I got the buffalo chicken burger with a $1.99 value burger. The buffalo chicken was good. The value burger was terrible. The bun was full size, a good start, there were lots of toppings, but the patty was smaller than a Mc Chokenpuke burger. Also sat at the drive through for about 7 mins waiting for my food, at 7:00pm.

Everyone who worked here seemed to be indifferent and unconcerned with service. They were just going through the motions. The entire main floor eating area was also blocked by chairs WHILE I was in plain sight and sitting therey, eating my dinner! This was how the person who was cleaning the place deliberately decided to do their work, even though it was only 9:00pm and the place closed at 10:30pm! The only reason I didn't give it one star was because the food was good. Service is trash!

We have visited this Harvey's for many years, this is the first time l write a negative post. The dining area was dirty, the garbage bins were over flowing and the food was poor. My burger was tasteless and small in size. The hot dog was the same. I will return again as l am hoping this was a one time issue.

The food as usual was good, but unfortunately no one wanted to take our order. One guy who was just standing there in gloves just watched us then when the manager told him to go take orders he got mad and ripped his gloves off and was less than thrilled to be taking our order. We almost walked out because of this. We will be back but i'm a little apprehensive.
