Burgers were absolutely delicious, definitely one of the best in town. Fresh, high quality meat is used. One gentleman weighed out the meat with gloves on, and put the meat on the grill. The other younger gentleman cooked the burgers to perfection. We also got a large poutine that was very good as well, and it was stuffed to the brim! They are very friendly and appreciated the business. Definitely recommened!

Was just in there to get dinner. Ordered 2 poutines and a bacon cheese burger. The poutine is great. Friendly environment. But as i said i had ordered a bacon cheese burger but my burger is lacking both cheese and bacon. I have absolutely none on my burger, and i paied for this. Because of this i feel they only get 2 stars. It could have been because they were busy talking up a storm to every customer in the store and seemed distracted.

There burgers are ALWAYS fresh (meat, bun and toppings).One can have their toppings of choice including fried onions and mushrooms at no additional charge!They are sizable portions and not over priced. Their french fries are ALWAYS fresh and if I want them a little bit crispier all I have to do is ask. Burgers and fries are totally customizable!! Drinks are bottomless and, again, the total cost is very reasonable. The people behind the counter are always courteous, friendly and never mind doing a customized order. The only thing that would make it better is if they had a drive-thru.

The food is great and quick, the price may seem steep at first, but the portion sizes are steeper. To give an example, a poutine is more than enough to share, but if you want one for yourself you will end up with enough for more later! Always a good experience here!

The food there was amazing. The first time ive ever been there, wish there was a place like this in torobto. The fries were very good. The cashier (new hire) was extrenly friendly and persobable. However. The fry cook and the supervisor were very uninviting. The food more than makes up for it so ill happily go back, but def something for them to look into.

Normally I would give this a 5 star rating as their food is great, especially their poutines. Yet, they are Not following Covid protocols. At one point there were over 20 people in the small waiting area that I took a video of and since I had over 25 min waiting I could count with nothing else to do. Then there was the delivery ppl that came in with a mask on their chin. At one point I stepped outside for 7 or 8 minutes.. because most people inside were "looking for room" to be distant. Then there was the "woman"that seemed to be "in charge" that never even had her mask on properly and then catered to a man that she obviously knew because of the back and forth conversation. He was 2 people behind me, yet he was finishing his dinner just as I was getting mine even though he and his friend ordered Exactly the same burgers as me. Had it not been for my$68 order that I paid for I would have left.

I went into sunnys yesterday. Two guys who work there were outside smoking on a picnic table. They got up when we entered. Neither one washed their hands. The place is disgusting dirty.. The tables need a good wash as do the ketchup containers. I will NOT be back and I will tell everyone I know about the health hazards at Sunnys

Great food (if you're as hungry as a horse), Excellent portion sizes and friendly service. I'm giving Sonny's 3 stars as the inside was dirty, the tables were sticky and the floors were greasy and grimey. I've been in there twice and the 2nd time (which was tonight) was the same experience as my 1st time being in there.

The inside of this place was disgusting. Everything was sticky. Dead bugs on the table. Mummified fries in the corners and the tops of the trash cans probably hadn't been wiped in a month. The tabletoos were gross. I could tell that the baskets to food was served in were not washed since the last time they were used.. For a lunch for 2 adults and 2 children was over $50. 3 sandwiches, a grilled cheese sandwich, deep fried pickles and 4 waters. What a joke. The Philly was tiny and served on basically a hotdog bun. We won't be back.

You guys have the best poutine!! You should consider adding a few more to your menu. I took a star off because The old broad that works there needs to chill she’s not saving lives. She is too snippy and rude. Send her back to customer service school.

My wife and I just had takeout from Back Yard Burgers. She had the Greek Burger and I had the Montreal Smoke Meat Burger. We also shared a small BBQ Chicken poutine. It was all delicious! The burgers are lean and not greasy; taste was excellent. The poutine is as good as any I’ve ever had; it was great. My wife liked that it wasn’t salty. It had onions, bacon, cheese and gravy of course, mushrooms, bbq sauce. Fantastic. I will definitely go back.

Been there a few times. The place is dirty. Not really a place to sit and eat. The food is very good but I must say this: last time I was there there were 2 guys there behind the counter. One guy cooking and the other guy making fries. The guy making the fries had dirt under his nails and yes, he grabbed by fries off the counter with his hands (the ones that spilled) and tossed them in the bag right in front of me. The other guy cooking always washes his hands before he makes my food. This other guy didn't and then handled my fries with his bare hands. I was disgusted to say the least but didn't say anything. I didnt even eat my fries when I got home. Just ate the sandwich. If the manager is reading this, your place is not gonna last long if you have people there handling food with their bare hands without washing their hands. Sooner or later customers will see that and stop coming to your place. Make sure everyone there handling food WASHES THEIR HANDS!

The other day I had quite the experience with Sunnys restaurant, i usually attend this establishment and the only way I can describe their food and service is hit and miss. I had a chared burger that was so sloppy it fell apart with in the first bite and a turkey sandwich that was so greasy and tasted like the turkey and bacon was uncooked. My wife and I felt very sick before even finishing our meal.

Unfriendly workers. They don't smile or greet the customers at all. However, the ones on Richmond make better poutines than the ones at St. Clair. Recipe and formulae must be the same. But the difference is subtle.

Went in on Saturday the 25th, worker was putting the raw burgers on the grill then made a customer's poutine did not wash hands, wife called him out on it, then he continued to touch customer's food, no attempt at washing hands. Hopefully no one got sick, got my money back before my order was made.

Wearing mask under nose wasn't a good start. Touching food with bare hand after touching raw meat. Portions size on my poutine was good but lacks flavor didn't finish it and I always finish my poutine. Wife's chicken was super dry. Maybe a bad night but I probably won't go back.
