Tru's grill, was a very warm atmosphere. The server, was courteous and attentive. She seemed knowledgeable of the menu options and was willing to modify my meal if needed. I ordered a vegetable stir fry in pineapple soya sauce served over rice. The menu said sweet pineapple sauce, so, I was expecting a sweet pineapple flavourful sauce, that not the case when I took my first bite. When my server asked, 'how is everything?' Of course I divulged my disappointment. She offered to have my meal remade, but I told her it will make do. I am new to Chatham, only one week here and my first dine-out since my arrival. I am anxiously anticipating my next dine-out experience!!!

Tried the streak Oscar! It was awesome. Ordered medium and it came out great. Another order was medium-rare but it came out undone. Soup special was cream of chicken.

The Oscar steak with lobster sauce was incredible! My compliments to the chef today. My medium streak was perfect. The sides were well presented and I could tell it was all freshly made. Great signature item for this restaurant. I will definitely be back for this next time I am in Chatham.

Fantastic. The food here is unique, and very paletteable. From my one lunch visit, they seemed to take traditional items, and give them an original twist. Unlike most places that try to spice things up, they didn't just throw fancy ingredients at a burger and call it a day. I bet if you took a picky boyfriend or girlfriend here, they'd leave completely satisfied. You'd hear them talk about their experience for quite some time. For an example of what I mean, I suggest checking them out. Oh, and I'm not a dessert person, but their selection had me ordering four items. Four! They were all fantastic. They don't just have a cook here. They have a chef who knows what they're doing.

10 of us decided to try Tru's after our visit ti Petrolia for an afternoon play. Every one of us had a wonderful meal. Highly recommend this place. Food was hot and very tasty. Our waitress was great!!

Food was good, but not worth the prices for sure. Staff was super friendly and so great with kids. Our waitress definetly went the extra mile. Probably will not return though. I think for the quality of food, the prices should probably drop.

Excellent food and great service. Delicious specials - I had the purple carrot/ginger soup and a chicken dish. Very tasty and vegetables we cooked perfectly. Friend had a pasta and chicken dish - menu option is with lobster and they happily substituted that for chicken. Pleasant atmosphere. Covid protocol in place. We were there on a Wednesday evening and only a few tables filled -support your local restaurants!

My wife and I went there for dinner last night. Stubbled upon it as we drove into Chatham. The food was excellent. My wife said the maple glazed chicken was the best cooled juiciest chicken she's ever had. Service was great. Patio was nice. We really enjoyed our time there. Definitely telling others and will be going back again.

Our family stop by Chatham overnight at Holiday Inn. The hotel restaurant has a long line up. So we decided to look for a nearby local restaurant. We found Tru's that is only 1km away. This restaurant has a nice patio. Foods not only look great but taste excellent as well. The waitress recommended us to try the Pelee Island white wine which are also good choice. We were glad to eat here instead of the noisy hotel restaurant. Definitely recommended to anyone visiting Chatham.

More then once I have seen people drunk and laying outside the restaurant during the day time. There was garbage all over the parking lot for like a month. It would have blown away but somebody ran it over and it was wet and dirty and covered in nasty. Children go to school above this restaurant and this is unacceptable.

Do not go with a big group you will be waiting forever, a few of us had to leave before out supper was ready which was served to us 2 hours after we arrived and was definitely not worth waiting for. Waitresses were good but couldn’t keep up. Will not be back

Atmosphere is great but the food was very disappointing. My steak was over-seasoned and ranged between rare to medium from one end to the other. My baked potato did not have a fluffy interior and the skin was soggy.
