We travel to Chatham a few times a week and pretty much eat lunch here once a week. The food is good. Its not up to the variety of 168sushi places but there is alot to choose from in each category. After a year we are still experimenting with new dishes. Food if cooked is always hot and with ipad style ordering you can see what you are orfering if not familiar with things. The washrooms are clean on the main floor. Which is important to us older folks with bad knees. The staff are always curtious and we recommend trying this restaurant out.

I can't comment much on the food since over half of what I ordered never showed up to the table. The waitstaff is terrible. You're required to write down your own order on a piece of paper and it was not busy by any standards and they still had trouble doing their job. I wasn't the only one at the table who didn't get their food either. 3 wonton soups were missing. And instead of just apologizing and grabbig the soup they tried telling us we didn't order it. It's all you can eat... Why argue with the customers about soups? I ordered a dish without sauce but it arrived with sauce on it and when I said something about it, they took it and brought it back drenched still with sauce. So they attempted to wash it off and give it back... And weren't even capable of washing it off properly. I was polite the whole time but it got me no where. This is the 2nd worst sushi place I have ever eaten at. Only beating a sad All you can eat joint in Saskatoon which used canned tuna in their rolls. I enjoy going to sushi places where you order off the menu more than the all. You can eat varieties for obvious reasons.

Honestly, this place has gone downhill. The people are great. It is a bit pricey but it would be worth it if the sushi was good. The last few times I have gone the sushi was so not fresh and very bland. Also, kids are now adult price at dinner. It's too bad because the menu is diverse and offers a lot of options but the quality is gone.

Tokyo Sushi is a great place for a date night. Service is extremely fast, the people are pleasant and the whole atmosphere is really inviting. The food is amazing and well priced. My wife and I always leave with a smile and a full belly. Would recommend!!

Amazing food. Only one issue i had was that we were seated and handed an ipad but nothing was explained. It was a birthday treat for my husband who loves sushi. I dont like sushi so I didnt want all you can eat sushi, I only wanted to order a beef udon dish but it took a long time for staff to understand what we asked for and also to explain to us newbies how the ipad ordering worked.. other than that it was great. Will be back.

[i]Love[/i] the food here. I'm not a sushi fan usually, but there is a tonne of delicious stuff on the menu. Communicating with staff has proven to be somewhat difficult at times, and they can seem very disorganized. Perhaps they should look into order sheets like some other sushi places have. Would recommend eating here though!

The food is okay but alot of food we ordered was either missed or given to a different table. The staff seem good but alot of them have a hard time if you as for anything and they don't all speak very good English, but this does not take away from their willingness to serve!

Great food and quick, efficient service. The sushi and sashimi are good quality. The spicy rolls aren't quite to our liking (minced fish) but that's a matter of preference. Food is fresh and hot, and prices are reasonable.

We eat there frequently and crave it more than any other sushi restaurant in town! Thanks to the great staff! Wish you had a monthly takeout special because we would be ordering every Friday!

I was very disappointed with the "Winter" platter. Great variety of sushis and a roll but it was obviously pre-prepared and sitting in a fridge waiting for someone to order it. I ate at 3:33 and it likely sat since lunch time. Too bad because the orders at other tables looked far fresher. My rice was so firm it felt like it was setting into one glob. Sorry but I will give it another chance and if repeated I will avoid for one of the other places in Chatham. The place was clean and the staff were friendly.

My daughter ate there and ended up with severe food poisoning. She ended up in the ER on IV fluids for 2 days. The hospital ran tests and concluded it was food poisoning . Bee careful!!!!

Firstly I will say that the wait staff was polite and the restaurant seemed organized and orderly. Service was quick and efficient and food came quickly.... Unfortunately this is where my good experience ended. The food left a lot to be desired. The food was very mediocre, and did not taste as fresh as it should have, and something about the seasoning in the rice was just off. Poor execution in the food preparation all around. Unfortunately I will not be returning, quite a shame, I really wanted to like the place because I had a real hankering for sushi.

I come here all tbe time and I do love the food. However, when I ordered a couple hand rolls, the plate that was offered with it had tape on it because was broke and had leftover food/crumbs all around the plate. It was disgusting. To top it off, when I ordered the hand rolls again later on, it came back on the same plate!! With the same food that was on it before!! It would be great if they washed the plates since we are eating off them. This is how people get sick.

Parking here is plentiful with a full parking lot so there is no worries on that front. They are an all you can eat for lunch and dinner so plan accordingly. The lunch menu was very generous and filling and they offer more items than most all you can eat sushi places I have been to. Managed to get plenty full off of good quality food. The lunch menu was $15.95 per person for all you can eat and I found that to be more than fair for what they offer. Plenty of seating and the tables were all clean. The service was fast amd reliable and once we places our first order it was a matter of minutes before we started seeing our food. Bonus you will get a 5% discount if you pay with cash so if you can plan ahead you'll save some money!!!

My "Sexy Salmon Roll" resembelmed the taste of what my forehead would smell like during 5 days of 25km hikes in snowshoes. Ending each day getting smoked out by the fire to stay warm, with no shower in sight. Do not reccomend any rolls that are *Crisped on the outside. Spicy Salmon Roll however was A+

Horrible. Makes me question about going there. One of the staff lacked a LOT of manners, we waited around 15 mins for a teriyaki then asked a staff about it and waited ten more minutes, but it came out so terrible and looked so rushed. Bad service but good sushi. Summing up everything, I'll never ever go there for sure.

I have been ordering from this place for years, have always loved it until about a year ago when I started noticing the quality and the freshness of the food getting worse. Yesterday I decided to give them another go and got takeout which mainly included vegetable rolls and one philedalphia roll which contains salmon. When I got it the salmon was rubbery and warm, like it had been sitting out for days, and all of the vegetables the same. Warm, droopy and just not fresh. I had spent about 30 dollars on this meal for me and my boyfriend and when I called to ask them what they could do, the lady did not apologize once but instead offered me a 4.50 coffee of my next order. I said I wanted my money back, or at least something because the food was gross. But 4.50 off of my next order.. that I will never be using. Would not reccomend, very disappointed in this place, sad to see it go downhill from where it once was Often at times if you are dining in they just dont bring you half of your order as well. That happens every single time .. sakura is much better.

Truly disappointing. The food was good - what we got of it. I went with my 2 sons and at some point I guess they decided we had ordered too much for 3 people because they just stopped serving us. We received 75% of what we had originally ordered. We had 3 empty glasses at the end of our table and they just kept walking by ignoring us. I finally said excuse me as our server walked by and advised that there were several items we hadn't received. She asked which ones and we advised. She walked away. The 3 empty glasses remained at the end of the table and she never came back. I guess they don't do refills. They didn't clear our dishes, didn't look at us, completely ignored us. We finally paid and left. If you can't afford to provide all you can eat, you shouldn't put it on the menu. We would have paid for a la carte because we like sushi. Moving forward, my business will go to Midori or Sakura.
