Food was cooked well so I'll jump from 2 stars to 3. Our server was not good at all. No communication. Sat us. Took order. Dropped food. Said about 12 words to us. We were the only table, only people in the place. Just a fairly disappointing experience.

ALWAYS amazing. Best Beef Dips anywhere, Chicken Delight, the sandwiches, George's Salad...they are fast and never disappoint I could go on and on, because I have been eating here for years and it is STILL one of my go-to's when I want a good take out meal that actually tastes like a real meal.

Good place for dining in Chatham. They also have vegetarian food in menu. Location of this location is awesome. Specially i love to sit at the very back of this restaurant so that i can enjoy the view of themes River. Food was also delicious . Quality and quantity both good .staff is also nice there.

The ONLY reason I didn't give 5 stars is because our server had no knowledge of the available drinks and some of the menu items we asked about. Having said that, my wife and I ordered panzerotti and HOLY COW was it MASSIVE!!! and DELICIOUS!!!

Three years ago, I wrote a glowing review about the Satellite Restaurant and gave them four stars. Tonight I have returned to change my perception of not just the restaurant, but the owner. Nothing to do with the hard-working the cooks, waitresses, bartenders and hosts. They are awesome. The owner also has rental property. He has rented a dilapidated apartment to a young professional just starting out on their own. Hard rain floods into this apartment through the frame and walls around a window that is so old and damaged; yje window sill flooded and in really poor condition. The tenant pays $900 a month! Nervy! Not only is this owner an unpleasant man, he's a slumlord. I have NO intention of sitting in the Satellite Restaurant and spending my money. There is no reward for greed.

I really liked it here! The restaurant is huge and has nice views of the water in the back. There menu has an expansive selection and I particularily enjoyed the coffee. The server was attentive and kind, checking-in on us often. Next time I go, I definitely need to try their Hawaiian pizza.

Came here with my mother and ordered the nachos and the Hawaiian pizza. The nachos were absolutely inedible - wet, soggy and floppy like soaked paper. The pizza was better, but not impressive. The staff here are very polite and sociable, but unfortunately, that was not enough to make up for the experience.

This place used to be very good, our family found their roast beef dishes to be the best items on the menu. Unfortunately in more recent years their quality control and service is inconsistent at best and horrid at worst. In our last visit. (or unfortunately should I say final...) My Grandmothers order included a dinner roll with the order which came ahead of our meals. Well, the thing was covered with blue mold. I'm sorry but back in my days of working at a restaurant, that would be a manager at the table apologizing and likely the meal on the house or at least heavily discounted to try and make amends. All we got was a sheepish 'oh sorry, I'll get you another'. Because we totally want another bun from what is likely the same bag as the first one just with less blue on it... It truly is unfortunate. This place used to be great.

Honestly not very good. Went there during Retrofest, and we didn't have a waitress for over 20 mins. Had to go get her. I understand it's busy, but when they are serving everyone around us and new ppl coming in and we are just sitting there . Not impressed. So we ordered good and I asked for a vegetarian qusadilla (veg. So very limited to what a vegetarian and vegan can eat), the waitress said they don't make them.. yet there on the menu. I was too hungry to argue so got fries. They were just okay, nothing overally wowing. The bf got a burger and dad got a BLT.. howevre with no sides cuz they charge extra for that.... so you get this giant plate.. with a sandwich and/or a burger on it and nothing else.. when we were done, we just got up and had to track the waitress down to get the bill, as no one else working there would help even locate her. Overall the resteraunt is meh. It's like a dinner style. It is dirty (lots of dead flies on the window ledge, dirty glasses, etc) so definitely check your cutlery and glassware.. and maybe bring your own water.. For myself and family, we won't be returning.

So happy we stumbled upon this place. Since they invented the Hawaiian pizza, we shared a medium pizza and it was delicious! So tasty, crust was super thin and lots of toppings and very cheesy. We shared between three people and it was more than enough

Nice place inside. Kind of an old style of diner. Staff very friendly and welcoming here. My pizza was expensive and kind of average. The toilet in the washroom is right against the wall so… not easy to use. I would give it another try but likely skip the pizza and try something else and hope for the best. Worth a shot.

My boyfriend had a ham bacon mushroom panzerotti and it looked delicious. He said it was yummy and the meat sauce that came with it was so good as well. I got honey garlic wings and oh my goodness.. if you like good messy wings, you will love these! Probably the best chicken wings i have ever had! 10/10 recommend!!! Great service as well.

Amazing service! Waitress was always checking if we needed something and fast to bring to anther Smirnoff! My only complaint was a couple black spots on the bottom of the pizza and too many tomatoes in the salad. But other than that, very affordable place. I would definitely recommend it. Fast food as well. It didn't take forever to bring it out. I sat by the river and loved the view.

I have been taking my family here for years, my sons love to sit in the back window and look at the water and the bridges. The staff is always friendly and the food is great! Our favorites are the chocolate milkshakes, the philly steak and chicken delight. My son is q big fan of the fish and chips and the salad bar! Nothing bad to say at all.

Portions are good and the views from the back are quite nice. Our server wasn't very attentive and made a few mistakes but the food was decent and the prices are good. Also, they were kind enough to let us bring in our own cake for our birthday girl with some dietary restrictions so that was nice.

While they may have invented the Hawaiian pizza, I can assure you this is NOT the place to go for it. This restaurant is a tired brand, and even more tired pizza. My pizza was 2” thick doughy loaf that wasn’t completely cooked properly, the cheese hadn’t even melted totally. As a diehard Hawaiian pizza lover, this place hurt. They say never meet your idols, I wish I didn’t. *EDIT: As a seasoned restauranteur, I am very sensitive to the hard times that have obliterated the F&B industry. It is even more paramount that customer service and food be on point as every customer count right now. The word “Brand” is not a dirty word. It is how people identify you and relate to your product and service. Your brand that you stand on, is you are the birthplace of the Hawaiian pizza. What I received was not a pleasant offering of such. I will be happy to change my mind and not be so critical the next time I come by.

Use to be a great place to eat. Fish is from frozen and half cooked in old grease. My brother ordered a BLT and basically received a tomato sandwich with 1 piece of bacon. When I used the restroom there was a smooshed cockroach on the floor.

Really nice pizza while you enjoy the view of the Thames river! This is the place where Hawaiian pizza was invented - a true landmark which has stood the test of time. Breakfast is generous and exactly how bacon and eggs should be. But it's the thoughtful and attentive table service that make each dining experience so nice. One staff member even brought me out a photo of the dining room as it was when I was young (complete with indoor water fountain). I've taken a photo of it to enjoy along with such happy memories that I continue to build with my family when we dine at the Satelite!

Popped in for a late lunch on a weekday after driving family to the hospital. I ordered a salad, she had a grilled cheese. It was OK, I was a bit disappointed the entire salad was iceberg lettuce. The service was good, the decor is a little faded and old, but I guess the antique atmosphere is their selling point? I should try again and try something a little more fun than a salad. :)

Fun fact if you hadn't already heard it over one million times, but this the home of the pineapple pizza and where it was created! Having said that, you'd think that the place where it was created would boast the best that it had to offer. Not the case. Do not enter, do not pass go, go quite literally anywhere else down the street. Hard pass.
